- Dedede sacrificing himself for one waddle dee. That's one of his 3,567 children ofc he's not gonna leave the boy behind.

- Gorimondo getting his ass beat by a blueberry multiple times. Like, my brother in christ just step on him.

Ideas for a potential (and ideal for my tastes) Kirby Party game!!

This'll be long, obviously, so I'm leaving everything under the cut.

At its core, the game is a literal copy-and-paste of classic Mario Party. Everyone moves around the board, gathering more of a select item than their competitors to win, with minigames sprinkled throughout. No differences there. The difference comes from what the objects are, in this case.

On the topic of stars:

Here, stars are replaced with food items, given out by Kawasaki who replaces Toad. Whenever Kawasaki is moved, through any means, he prepares a new, unique food item.

When you get to Kawasaki, you can spend 20 point-stars (the Kirby equivalent of coins) for whatever he offers. Or you could spend 25 point-stars to get a different food selected at random.

Why does this matter? Because you can eat these food items for special bonuses, offering a nice helping of strategy to the established norm. Eating them means you lose a point, however, so it should be used very carefully to be effective.

Outside of those, at least one food is offered that has no stat effects and is just your bog standard.

On the topic of items:

Originally, I had planned for most of the items to come straight from Mario Party 2, but after looking more closely into the item system of Parties 5-7 (mainly 6 because it serves as another big influence on the project), I fell in love with the nuance and strategy that could be employed.

With that in mind, I was thinking about revamping the item system and number of items to better fall in line with this style. However, I'll still share the old item lineup, just for personal reference:

Wheelies act as mushrooms, letting you roll two dice blocks, while Rex Wheelies let you roll three.

Warp Stars act as, well, Warp Blocks, letting you swap places with a random player.

The Dimension Mirror allows you to move backward along a board when used. (And this will be more costly, so as not to be absolutely broken like the Reverse Mushroom was.)

The Vat-luck moves Kawasaki to a different space.

The Noddy Network calls Nightmare upon a player of your choosing.

The Enticing Cheese calls Daroach, while the Stinky Cheese prevents Daroach from stealing from you.

The Dinner Bell warps you straight to Kawasaki.

The Invisibility Stone lets you walk through alternate pathways.

The Nebula Chest steals a random item.

The Dueler's Sword... is self-explanatory.

On the topic of boards:

I conceptualized 12 main boards for the game. At the moment, they are:

Augmented Area (Technology-themed.)

Foody Feilds (Grassland, Food-centric theming.)

Corruption Cavern (Mining cave theme.)

Dusky Drawings (Spooky Mansion + Art theme)

Basalt Boulevard (Fire/Lava theme)

Royalty Ring (Castle theme)

Headstrong Honky-tonk (A casino in Merry Magoland.)

Galvanized Garden

Sanguine Sands (Western theme)

Impeccable Iceberg

Nightmare's Nexus (Space Theme)

I may end up removing some of these, adding more, or changing a few of these ideas around.

Each playable character will have a unique outfit for every board except for two. No one will have a unique outfit on Basalt Boulevard, and everyone will have a unique outfit on Nightmare's Nexus.

The character that does not have a unique outfit on the given board plays an integral role at the end if they lose, triggering a boss fight that acts as a final minigame (sort of similar to the boss minigames in Mario Party 9).

And that's everything I had! I hope you guys like my ideas!

Oh, and be sure to look out for the art I'll be making for this in the future. I've already made a few things for it, but they're all so old now that I feel like revamping them.

Since the cast consists of many different creatures with different lifespans I'm just gonna do their mental age relative to human years for the sake of simplicity.

MAIN CAST Kirby: 5 Bandee: 11 King Dedede: 35-40 Meta Knight: 35-40 Prisma: 35-40 ANIME Tiff: 12 Tuff: 8 Escargoon: 45-50 SUPPORTING/DREAM FRIENDS: Prince Fluff: 13 Gooey: 5 Adeleine: 10 Ribbon: 7 Magolor: 25 Taranza: 21 Susie: 28 Daroach: 30 Marx: 25 Mage Sisters: 20-25 Rick, Kine and Coo: 20-25

All of the other Dark Matter creatures as well as ancient characters like Galacta Knight, Morpho Knight, Nightmare, Hyness, Void and Landia are thousands of years old and hard to pinpoint an exact mental age onto.

Ideas for Anime x Game kirby crossovers

1-Escargoon tries to fix the monster teleported after Meta knight “accidentally” broke it with a chainsaw, dedede ends up summoning Sectonia & Haltman and it results They accidentally made a portal to the underworld and accidentally summon dark nebula which just roams around stealing cake and being happy for actually being a threat in that universe,sectonia and Haltman try to return to their universe while dark nebula posses anime meta knight to summon the phantoms of forgotten land to help him take over this world but morpho knight appears and recaptures most of the phantoms except phantom forgo dedede, then Kirby has to free meta knight from dark nebula control and then Sectonia,haltman,phantom forgo Dedede and Dark nebula escape back to the game universe and Morpho is like “ugh screw them, I have another 200.000.000 souls, I don’t need them” sectonia and Haltman separate and go for their loved ones forgiveness (and beat taranza a little bit) while Dark nebula and phantom forgo dedede go to space to conquer all the universe (except pop star because of Kirby) and they end up becoming pals with necrodeus which never died, and the whole anime cast is like “WHAT THE FU-“

2-kracko and wispy get absorbed by a portal to another dimension then another portal to another another dimension and then another another portal to the anime universe and they have to work together to go back home,kracko acts like he’s a surviving demon beast and works for dedede while meta knight is spying on him, while Game wispy becomes the alpha of the anime wispy’s since he can become a giant and shoot cloud projectiles and they give a ancient energy sphere which caused the rift who brought them there,wispy gets inside the castle and kracko takes escargoon hostage to modify the teleporter with the energy sphere to make a portal back to the game universe,accidentally they summon grand doomer which starts causing chaos,Kracko is ready to leave but wispy convinced him to stop the grand doomer because of the anime wispys,with meta knight and Kirby’s help they defeat grand doomer and then go back to their dreamland,dedede throws the energy sphere into the ocean and everyone is like “what the hell just happen?”

3-dark taranza respawns in the mirror world and goes to the wrong universe when trying to get revenge on the Kirby’s so he ends up facing Kirby while shadow dedede comes to help because he hates dark taranza guts, and tuff is like “oh my god he’s so goddamn cool!!!” And after anime dedede gets jealous,posses and beaten up in one hour,they defeat dark taranza because Dark mind with anime dedede body (anime king D-mind) betrays dark taranza once more and then Kirby,shadow dedede and Meta knight defeat d-mind and save the day and shadow goes back to the mirror world after throwing anime dedede off a cliff because he can

4-anime dedede and game dedede switch places for a day

Anime dedede:would try to send hes troops after Kirby and then Kirby beats him up thinking he’s posses,so he goes to see if Elfilin has anything to do with this but gets nothing,then Kirby and Elfilin got to see taranza but get nothing,then visit the world dimension to see if Shadow dedede replaced their dedede but meet shadow dedede and get nothing,then Kirby,elfilin,taranza and shadow dedede call ribbon to use the crystal but it doesn’t work,so Kirby,elfilin,taranza,shadow dedede and ribbon ask gooey for help because he’s a dark matter but they get nothing,so Kirby,elfilin,taranza,shadow dedede,ribbon and gooey ask necrodeus for help but after he politely asks them to get the hell out of he’s house they realize he has nothing to do with this, so Kirby,elfilin,taranza,shadow dedede,ribbon,gooey and necrodeus go to the underworld to see if dark nebula knows anything about it but he doesn’t so they get attacked by morpho knight for getting on he’s property and after the fight they all go to eat a ice until anime dedede changes places with game dedede and go back to their normal day life

Game dedede:just enjoyed the day,spend some time with Kirby,everyone was confused especially escargoon,tiff was suspicious but tuff didn’t question it and eventually game Dedede returned after giving anime Kirby he’s biggest dream, becoming friends with the king

my childhood mirror world headcanons involved the king being mirror escargoon. he was a huge piece of shit, he was responsible for DMK's scar and I wrote a really violent edgy fic about it. wtf was his name... Eslaze. oh my god and his shell was this sentient creature named Shelley. he had a wife with long pink hair and a really cool name? Salasarazel. anyway Dedede's counterpart was like, a kid, because I couldn't draw Dedede (this was waaaay before triple deluxe). and Eslaze took him in I guess and they had this slow burn father son relationship. Christmas was a big deal for them? I don't really remember why. it was just this big important sentimental thing lol

it's Christmas so I was just thinking about it. part of the reason I have the mirror trio living in a cold/snowy area now is kind of a callback to my old mirror Dedede having a Christmas thing going on. I love calling back to that old stuff, it's like a fun little easter egg just for me lol

This was made for an online fanzine that featured a bunch of artists who made art and fanfics for Xiaolin Showdown and Kirby of the Stars (Kirby: Right Back At Ya!).  I wanted my piece to feature all the characters that made the show great, I tried to fit in as many characters as I could that I believe brought something to the table. This show has brought me so many good memories and really helped me get where I am with my art, when I was a child first experiencing this show it really struck a cord within me. The art style was perfect, the colours where amazing, the characters were all unique, design was on point and the story that followed throughout the show and even it’s new revival series and a sequel it had some interested plots to it.  I wanted to make something that said to the viewer “I love this show and here’s why”. I don’t know if this gives off that vibe to you, if it does then horray! This show might not be to everyone’s liking and I wouldn’t force you to watch it.

KRBAY/HNK Head Canons (Tripple Deluxe Adaption)

Remember in The Jambastion Cult head canons I said that the 3 Mage Sisters tricked Escaroon into making Dedede become evil? Well other members of The Jambastion Cult (who were rivals to Zan Partizanne, Flamberge, & Francisca) copied Zan, Flam, & Fran's idea to trick a royal monarch into becoming evil by selling an item (a chair for Dedede & a mirror for Sectonia) to said royal monarch's servant/love interest (Escargoon & Taranza) so they could give them the perfect gift for their birthday.

Speaking of Sectonia being like Dedede, in the story arc adaption of Tripple Deluxe Dedede gets a tase of his own medicine because Sectonia is like an evil queen version of him. When Taranza & Sectonia's bug army kidnapped him (along with Escargoon, Sir Ebrum, Lady Like, Marx, & Waddle Doo & some of the Waddle Dees thinking that Dedede was the hero of DreamLand), Dedede then became a DEDEDamsel in distress. When Dedede first heard that they thought he was the hero of Dreamland, he was impressed... at first but then he meets Sectonia who treated him like a toy, doing stuff like making wear complicated ball outfits that he's uncomfortable wearing, or even making him skip certain meals because she wants him to be thinner. (Look at her bee form's waist and you'll see what I mean) She even insulting Tripple D's chubbiness. This made Tripple D try to escape on a few occasions. When Dedede tried escaping from Queen Sectonia's palace, he met some Faries (People of The Sky) that were captured by Sectonia's guards. The Faries told him that she did terrible stuff to them like not allowing them to build a new hospital because she wanted a museum dedicated to herself or putting her own people in prison if they disagreed to her own rulership. But of course, Taranza & the guards would always find The King and take him back to the palace. (This made Dedede realize how terrible of a person he's been)

3. When Dedede was still being captured by Sectonia, Taranza mostly watched over him so he wouldn't try to escape again. But instead Taranza & Dedede ended up having some sort of friendship together. With ill' O'Ranzy being more well-mannered, nicer, & optimistic than Sectonia they slowly got to bond over stories that Taranza told Dedede. BTW Taranza is obsessed with fairytales & folklore. (Also, later in the show Tripple D tries to be a good friend to Taranza but I can't tell examples because I don't want to spoil what I have in store)

4. Taranza has a French accent & in the dub is voiced by no other than Charles Martinet. Meanwhile in the dub Queen Sectonia is voiced by Sammatha Kelly. WHY? Because I wanted Taranza & Sectonia to feel like villainous counterparts to Mario & Princess Peach, because instead of the Princess/Queen getting kidnaped by an Evil King, the Princess/Queen is kidnapping the Evil King instead. Now that I think about it the Cappies are mushroom people just like the Toads as well. So should Kirby & pals at one point in the story think that they rescued Dedede but then a cappy said "SORRY GUYS! BUT YOUR KING IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE?

5. After the advents of the Tripple Deluxe arc, Taranza is Banned from Floralia for being the one that turned The Queen into an evil dictator. (Even though it wasn't really his fault) After hearing about this news Dedede hires Ranzy to work for him & live in his castle back in Dreamland. (Basically Dedede, Escargoon, & Taranza became a trio of sorts.)

6. Taranza has a Squidward & Spongebob and Peppermint Patty & Marcy type relationship with Goonie. (Goonie being Squidward or Peppermint Patty & Taranza being Spongebob or Marcy)

7. Also after the arc Dedede went through a CHARACTER ARC and stopped being mean to the Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, The Cappies etc., and started to become a better person & ruler.

This was made for an online fanzine that featured a bunch of artists who made art and fanfics for Xiaolin Showdown and Kirby of the Stars (Kirby: Right Back At Ya!).  I wanted my piece to feature all the characters that made the show great, I tried to fit in as many characters as I could that I believe brought something to the table. This show has brought me so many good memories and really helped me get where I am with my art, when I was a child first experiencing this show it really struck a cord within me. The art style was perfect, the colours where amazing, the characters were all unique, design was on point and the story that followed throughout the show and even it’s new revival series and a sequel it had some interested plots to it.  I wanted to make something that said to the viewer “I love this show and here’s why”. I don’t know if this gives off that vibe to you, if it does then hurray! This show might not be to everyone’s liking and I wouldn’t force you to watch it.
