HAII HAII :3 ive watched a little bit of westerns recently so godless, true grit, and the ballad of buster scruggs (last two are movies but they are. so good) are def the first things ill recommend. another show that needs more love though is miracle workers (every season is a different "timeline" with the same story basically! first as angels, then in medieval times, and then in wild west oregon) i am obsessed with it and currently waiting for s4 !!

all the moments where eddie and buck show that they Know each other and/or act like a family in s4:

“i can know weird stuff too” (my kINGDOM for the indignant way eddie says that bc yeah knowing weird shit is buck’s thing but eddie’s not his best friend for nothing!!!!)

so, I've been reading through your unpopular opinion asks and got to your discussion on will as a character, and when you pointed out how he seemed to be phasing out to be replaced by finn til cory's unfortunate passing, I feel like most people will agree that finn's personality was very much pushed onto sam after that passing, but I never took the moment to realize it was the same with will. he got bits and pieces too that it got me to thinking about episodes in season 5 and what actually would've been finn rather than will, and I can't look at 'the end of twerk' or 'a katy or a gaga' with the weird teaching from will (choosing to fight for tweaking rather than getting unique access to private restrooms and suspending marley for her unwillingness to dress in something she finds uncomfortable) and not see finn. cause no matter how weird you find will as a teacher, i don't think he's a bad teacher and despite sometimes focusing on the wrong people, he still tries for all his students. finn on the other hand, I almost find it obvious that he'd have these bumbling takes and think he's in the right.

Okay I don't agree at all and I think that's really sad for Will lmao. Like. Obviously I don't think Finn was a miracle worker teacher or anything. But I also think about his only two good moments on the whole show came from him being a teacher. Trying to fight for Unique to be Rizzo, and then telling Artie he didn't have to do the Men of McKinley calendar if it made him uncomfortable. And y'know, ignore all the other atrocities from s4, and those two good moments look really great lol

And I said before that Will kind of started off as just a normal dude who was maybe a little dumb but his heart was in the right place. But the way his whole character completely deteriorated by s3 made him absolutely unbearable. Him acting like an overgrown manchild acting so petty towards a 19 year old, and then all the bullshit in s5, honestly felt like a natural regression of his character at that point. Sad but true, imo
