what are your favorite pm dazai headcanons, both funny and angsty? two of minemine are that he only ever really ate when stealing chuuyas food and that he’s a god at rhythm games (like his only good coping mechanism lol). also I love the idea of dazai with a hot pink retainer bc of chuuya plotting revenge

these are so cute 😭 i really love the stealing Chuuya's food thing omg....I'll list some of the ones I can think of that I like!!

- he's almost completely blind in the eye that he covers up in bandages

- I absolutely love father figure Hirotsu for pretty much everybody so I'm applying that to Dazai too...i think he silently looks after him

- he was medically experimented on by Mori when he was 14/15 (this either worsened or caused the blindness in his eye). he's afraid of doctors and refuses to be treated unless he can't make the decision for himself anymore. he's passed this onto Akutagawa (he thinks he's protecting him/preventing him from experiencing what he went through)

- I'm adding to your rythym game headcanon I think he is addicted to gacha games but he's super bad at them and spends a lot of money on them

- he likes to invite himself into Chuuya's apartment and will just be there when Chuuya gets home and eating his snacks or sleeping on his bed. Chuuya blows a fuse every time but at some point he learns about Dazai's actual living conditions and doesn't have the heart to tell him to go home

- also just a general hc (and not PM dazai exclusive) but I think he's autistic
