She’s never made a sweater before, but she saw the pattern on Ravelry and who cares if she’s only made (lumpy) hats before—she has to try it. She has to make it. She has to make it for Ben.
“You realize that Hannukah isn’t an important holiday, right?” Ben asks as she makes eye contact with him. His eyes are big and brown and—at this moment—mildly annoyed.

“More than you realize,” Ben says and for the life of her she can’t tell if he’s joking. He does this thing sometimes that’s confusing—where he’ll say something that sounds mopey but is actually snarky and it disarms her every damn time. “In any event, ugly Hanukkah sweaters definitely aren’t a thing the way ugly Christmas sweaters are.”
“Well, they are now,” Rey says firmly. “I’m making you an ugly Hanukkah sweater. Deal with it. And stop moving.”

There are several reasons that Ben would never have dreamed he’d ever receive this text. The first is that he’d be invited to a Halloween party. I’ve seen this done recently and decided maybe it would be a good idea for me to organize my fics a bit, now that I’ve got more than 20 of them posted! Sometimes people are in a mood for a one shot, sometimes a multi-chapter fic, sometimes both. Here’s my master list of all my fics at ao3 including my WIPs.
One shots:
Friday I’m in Love Post canon fluff where Baz has a post exam surprise for Simon but Penny comes home first. I like to imagine Fiona has nurtured a love of 80's alternative music in Baz. Particularly bands like The Cure, The Smiths, Joy Division, Duran Duran, Siouxsie and the Banshees, hence the title. Idea came to me as I was baking my first batch of cherry scones.
Stay to the End A post canon late night conversation between Baz and Simon. Some fluff, some angst. Lots of talk about vampires and the long term.
You Make Me Feel Like I Am Home Again Leavers Ball fic. Simon and Baz at Watford for Baz's last night. What happens after their dance at the ball. Conversations, late night snacks, pilgrimages around Watford and a return to Mummer's House. Soft moments, much needed conversations and flustered Baz. In Between Days Baz visits Simon at Penny’s on the weekends during his last term at Watford. Simon isn't himself and Baz is focused on distracting him. Written as a gift for @dancingwdinosaurs I found myself writing this fic immediately after viewing the art.
Let Your Laughter Fill the Room Snowbaz prompt: Simon and Baz laughing their asses off. Like, falling down, snorting, clapping each other on the back, tears in their eyes where they can’t catch their breath-hilarity. Where things quiet down and they look at whatever set them off and then Baz snorts and Simon laughs and they just start cracking up all over again. Prompt from @fight-surrender

Love is Like the Flowers Flower shop AU for Carry On Countdown 2018 first day prompt. A two chapter fic. Simon works in a flower shop. A handsome reticent young man makes repeat visits to the shop and piques Simon's interest. Little does he know Baz isn't there for just the flowers. Chapter two written as a gift for @fight-surrender from the kiss prompt she gave me for “kissing, then staying so close that you’re murmuring into each other’s mouth.”
Always Something There to Remind Me Written for the Nostalgia prompt for Carry On Countdown on Tumblr. Baz and Simon at Pitch Manor before setting out to find Nicodemus. The scene where Simon ends up wearing Baz's jumper and how that happened. Simon stumbles on a box in Baz's closet and snoops a bit.
Home Is Wherever I’m With You Written for the Carry On Countdown 2018 Nov. 27 prompt Abroad. Simon and Baz are spending their first summer together in London. Baz plans a weekend getaway for Simon but things don't go quite as he planned.
As You Wish Written for the Nov 28 Carry On Countdown prompt Fluff. Simon and Baz on a weekend night at home. Simon has some work to do to get Baz appropriately caught up on pop culture. He's also dealing with an underfed vampire. A night in at home fluff for these two boys.
Lead Me Into Your Darkness Written for the Carry On Countdown 2018 November 29 prompt Mythology. Simon and Baz are Persephone and Hades but with a twist on the original story.
With A Little Help From My Friends Written for the Carry On Countdown 2018 Nov 30 prompt Hogwarts AU. Simon and Baz first meet on the Hogwarts Express and bond over the Sorting Hat experience. An early meeting and early friendship.
Here Comes the Sun Written for the Carry On Countdown 2018. Dec 3 prompt Sunset/Sunrise. Except this fic starts with early morning musings at sunrise for Simon and ends with a shared sunset back at Watford for them both. Soft in love Baz and Simon. Post canon setting.
You Can Read Me Anything Written for the Carry On Countdown prompt Bookstore AU. Baz and Simon are university students. Baz works in a bookstore. Simon's looking for a gift for Penny. Misunderstandings, embarrassing situations, spilled coffee and unexpected gift wrap. A story of love that starts under awkward circumstances but manages to move on from there. Any opportunity to throw shade on the Mage taken.
Multi chapter fics:
Close to Me A collection of Simon and Baz stories. Each chapter is a one-shot. A series of ficlets written based on a Tumblr OTP question prompt list I posted on tumblr. Chapters are based on the individual asks I received. Story title is the Cure song. Because you know Baz likes angsty 80's music.
Can’t Find My Way Home Former school roommates Baz and Simon run into each other at an airport when their flight is cancelled due to inclement weather. They team up to try to get home for the holiday but luck is not on their side. A Carry On Travel AU with planes, trains, automobiles, snowstorms, road trip mishaps, and mutual pining. Expect oblivious boys, bickering and banter, gratuitous use of tropes, and quite a bit of romance. A non-magical AU.
Behind Closed Doors Non-magical AU. Baz is doing his best to keep his mother's beloved Watford afloat but CEO David Mage is making that more difficult with each passing day. The finances are what Baz needs to focus on but Mage's personal assistant, the devastatingly attractive Simon Snow, is becoming more and more of a distraction. The annual company Christmas party unexpectedly throws them together and their mutual pining results in a clandestine relationship that could threaten both of their careers and break their hearts. Miscommunication, misunderstandings, nosy coworkers, overbearing bosses, and the challenges of speaking from the heart create mayhem for them both. Of note this is starting as a T rating but may well go up to an M. Originally conceived as a one-shot gift fic for @krisrix that has now burgeoned into a full blown multi-chapter fic. WIP
Never Tear Us Apart Simon and Baz have comfortably settled into their relationship and their university studies. Summer is here and with Penny visiting Micah in America they can finally indulge in the relaxing summer holidays together. But then a bewildering letter arrives for Simon and they find themselves following a trail of clues that might lead them to discovering Simon's true parentage. Soft boys in love, road trips, misunderstandings, uncomfortable conversations around the dinner table--Simon and Baz discover more than they expected about each other and about Simon's mysterious past. Written for the Carry On Big Bang 2018/2019. WIP
Dance the Night Away Dev and Niall have their suspicions about why Baz is being such a prick this summer. Or rather more of a prick than usual. Their idea of a night on the town to get him to confide in them doesn't quite go as planned. Featuring Dev and Niall POV, Baz being evasive, and dancing. I find Delilah such a fantastic and fascinating villain, and I'd love to read more about her relationships with Billie or Emily. I’d love to know more about Billie’s time in Delilah’s gang - what does she see in Delilah, or Delilah in her, beyond using each other to get ahead, what do they want from each other? I imagine it might fascinate and please Delilah to have Billie’s submission and maybe even some level of trust - to do what? It'd be neat to read an AU of the end of KoD where Billie stays in Dunwall, whether she's won or lost against Daud - or even of the end of Brigmore Witches, if you want to AU Delilah's plot into something that doesn't put her into a child's body. Something addressing clothing (given the iconic costumes of both the Witches and the Whalers) and/or nudity? Something in the timeskip or DH2 timeframe? With regard to Emily, I'm specifically interested in adult Emily here - what happens if Emily doesn't escape at the beginning of DH2? (Or is captured at some point, I guess.) Delilah seems happy enough to keep her alive - does she make her a witch, want her in court as her niece? How does Emily feel about any of this as she learns about Delilah's past? Or, does Emily maintain a relationship with her aunt after the end of DH2, whether because there's a way to visit or communicate with her or in an AU where she's defeated differently and sticks around? How might Delilah's art fit into any of these scenarios? The differences in how they fight?
I would also love fic about Breanna and Jindosh's terrible friendship/working relationship. Is their distaste for everyone else enough to overcome their distaste for each other? Put them at a fancy party (Luca's or otherwise) kvetching about other people. Tell me more about the lead-up to the seance, or mutual projects where Breanna contributed more of the magic and Jindosh more of the science - or vice versa! Breanna's got a very scientific mind and career herself and Jindosh isn't above dabbling in Void shit. Get them drunk together one night. If you can futz with the numbers enough for it to make sense, write me an AU where they're in an arranged marriage and end up as a (secretly? idk) platonic power couple. (If you go with this version I'd prefer that you write Jindosh as gay or asexual.)
Fandom-Specific DNW/Exception: Please do not touch on Jindosh's nonlethal option in any way whatsoever. With regard to Delilah/Billie, I have dubcon in my general DNWs but with Delilah’s...everything it seems potentially unreasonable to categorically DNW it here. Billie going along with things because she feels like she should or must is fine (although I’d also be very game for fic about her desiring and wanting Delilah/this), but I still don’t want to read anything involving altered or removed ability to consent such as mind-altering magic, sex pollen, drugs, etc. Additionally, Delilah/Breanna is an exception to my unrequested ships DNW - feel free to include it in any of these requests.

One of the things that really hit close to home about canon was the Ishval plot; I like that it’s important and not just backstory or setup for other stuff, and that there are multiple characters who are Ishvalan or of Ishvalan descent, rather than a genocide plot being a convenient reason to have one or no Ishvalan perspectives in the story. I’d really be interested in reading anything about, well, what do you do during or in the wake of a genocide: Miles’s seemingly increasing identification with his Ishvalan background; one or both of them in the post-canon rebuilding; what is is to be Amestrian *and* Ishvalan; what Scar (or OCs) are able to keep from their culture and community and what was lost (and what evolves), whether that’s in “Amestrian” cities and towns during or after canon, or in post-canon Ishval; saving the testimonies or the culture. Doesn’t need to be angsty if that’s not what you’re into; indeed, surviving/building a new life/finding joy/celebrating one’s culture and heritage after that kind of thing are meaningful too.
Or, Briggs and its mixture of heartwarming and id-satisfying loyalty kink. (The watch! Buccaneer handing Olivier a clean pair of gloves after she kills Raven! Constant and deeply sincere saluting! And Olivier's lack of patience for anyone's shit.) Either ordinary or extraordinary circumstances - daily life in the fort, a battle with Drachma where they work together seamlessly, surviving a storm or the typical winter cold - would make me happy, but I especially love those shows of loyalty. Entire Briggs Is Gay would also non-ironically be neat, as would other ways of exploring the idea of Briggs being a united wall made up of people with a lot of secrets and/or racial and gender differences.
Fandom-Specific DNW: Please don’t give Scar a name; I personally am fine eliding any narration issues with “how would he refer to himself in his own POV?” in my brain. I would also prefer that Ishvalan culture be worldbuilt rather than borrowed wholesale from a real-life culture.

Ship(s): Ajewen Cheris & Garach Jedao Shkan; Ajewen Cheris & Original Mwennin Characters; Ajewen Cheris/Neshte Khiruev; Moroish Nija/Shuos Feiyed; Vauhan Mikodez & Zehun
I've just recently gotten into this fandom, and I love the loyalty kink and the worldbuilding so much - I just want more! I'm partway through Revenant Gun now, so my prompts are somewhat unspecific, but I expect to be done with Glass Cannon by the time of reveals, so don't worry about spoilers.
Anyway, as I said, I love loyalty kink, including platonic loyalty kink - trust, gestures of loyalty, the times that trust or willingness to follow/lead is put under severe situational strain and holds, or the places where these things get thorny instead of straightforward because one character has to betray or hurt the other for the larger goal that they both believe in and work towards, or to keep the other safe. Some of the things I like in canon along these lines are Mikodez's showing Zehun the contingency plans in Raven Stratagem, and everything with "I'm your gun" (which I'm vaguely aware that I'm going to love even more by the time I'm caught up). Any story for Cheris & Jedao, Cheris/Khiruev, or Mikodez & Zehun that involved these tropes would be wonderful.
I'm also interested in the Mwennin subplot. I would love to know more about Cheris, Mwennin culture, and other Mwennin at any point before, during, or after canon. I also like the idea of Nija and Feiyed staying in touch after Feiyed rescues/recruits Nija, and Feiyed gradually learning about Mwennin culture as they start/continue a relationship - we know it can be adoptive, so does she even at any point start to consider herself part of it? This is a perennial request for me and anything (other than, I guess, the slice-of-lifeiest slice-of-life) would make me very happy, but I'm particularly interested in the military side of the canon - how the war changes all the characters and their relationships with one another, how Everything is Beautiful and Then Shit Gets Real but amidst the war-is-hell there’s still the creation of bonds of trust and loyalty and chances to do what’s right (the bits with the Plumbish priestesses, for instance). Every character gets a chance to develop and make choices that are all brave in different ways. I'd love loyalty kink here, but I'm also up for Magic, for an exploration of the characters' adult lives on the other end of the series's coming-of-age, or nearly anything.
Some ideas - what happens post-canon if Neviril and Aeru make it back to the main world when war is brewing again, but Neviril has no one from the old cohort to lead because they can’t fly anymore? What does she do, or see her role as being - a leader for peace, for war? How do she and Aaeru interact with Paraietta, Rodoreamon, Floef, and Vyuraf?
What happens if due to magic or time weirdness, Mamiina is brought back? What happens between her and Neviril late in canon or post-canon? How do they see or value each other as fighters and leaders?
What's Paraietta and Rodoreamon's post-canon relationship like? They're building a life together and finding purpose in helping the war orphans, but they're also both veterans and neither of them is the other's lost love. Or I'd also love to see a during- or post-canon look at a situation where Neviril has relationships with both Paraietta and Aaeru, how she maybe needs different things from them, and how they also work together differently on the battlefield - or just a story about the relationship of Neviril and her long-loyal second-in-command Paraietta.

UPDATE!
Hey Dolls,
It’s me again, I’m so sorry I’ve been dead for several months now but here I am! Unfortunately, I don’t have an official update for you (as in an update for a story or a new oneshot or something) but just to give you some reassurance about my progress, I’m here to tell you what I’ve been doing.
So, here’s just some quick background on the happenings of the previous few months where exam season is slowly creeping up. I have two 2-hour mock exams to prepare for (psychology and biology) but I also have to complete my second project for art on micro-macro before I begin my component one to carry into the summer holidays. So school is busy but I’ve also been needing to do a lot of university searching and getting my work experience done. I actually did my work experience during the two-week holiday I was given for Easter but that took a week so I was really pressed for time.
To add onto that *le sigh* I’ve gotten really sick recently and it’s only getting worse by the day, which I don’t understand because I’ve taken medicine for it!!! It’s so frustrating! But you know, whenever I get sick, I really have no motivation to work on both school and my writing because I just want to sleep in bed and slowly die in my filth, so that’s slowing me down more than other works are, which I HATE!
Despite ALL OF THAT, however, I’ve gotten some work done for you! It’s not ready to be posted though but I’ll gladly tell you all about the progress.
I’ve planned all four scenes with all the events I want happening in it. I’m about to start scene three and am at 3.3k words
There’s a lot of fluff and some minor development in the relationship between Reader and Jungkook, there’ll also be some development in the relationship between TaeTae and Jungkook as well so look out for that!
Here’s a little teaser for you simply because I like spoiling you guys ;)
“Promise me you’ll take care of yourself too, Jeong,” you demand in a soft and beautifully fragile voice that has Jungkook leaning in ever so slowly closer, his urge to connect his lips with yours becoming instinct whenever in a situation where you’re looking up at him with those beautiful wide eyes, rosy cheeks and plush lips, he swears you’re silently begging him to devour your mouth with his own in a passionate dance.
“I promise…” he whispers back, lips brushing against yours as both your eyes slowly start to close, breaths momentarily stopping as if hypnotised by each other’s eyes, daring the other to initiate it kiss first. Before either of you could follow through, however, you were interrupted by a very loud shout.
I’ve planned around 4/5 scenes, I’ve just finished scene one and just realised that I have to do some more research so that there’s more accuracy but some delay in the writing process. But it’s currently at around 1.1k words.
This is a bit of an angsty chapter, especially for those of you who are animal lovers but there’ll finally be some progress in Reader’s and Yoongi’s relationship

“Shhh…” he hushed in a husky voice despite his best attempt at reducing his rough speech into something soft just for your comfort, “it’s going to be okay…” his arm rounded your figure and brought you into his warm, tight embrace as he gave you a handful of moments to calm your heart-breaking sobs, “she’s in good hands, trust that they’ll do what’s best for her,” you nod meekly into his chest, following with a soft whimper as you cling onto the back of his shirt. The presence of time ceases to exist as you stand there hugging yourself tightly to your neighbour and expel all of your tears and sobs into his chest, soaking his shirt but he doesn’t mind.
“Th-thank you, Yoongi,” you whisper with a sniffle as you look up at him with a rose-dusted cheek pressed to his chest, your eyes big and glossy as an adorable pout had your lips looking plumper than usual. Yoongi’s heart skipped many subsequent beats as he stared down at you, very well aware of the blossoming blush on his cheeks but unable to turn away; had you always been this cute? How could he miss that about you?
PHEW! Planning this was so exhausting because I’ve never written smut before! And Silly Me didn’t split it into scenes but I can assure you that it’s all planned out...the only problem is that I think I might change it again, sorry! But it’s only at 0.8k words, I’m so sorry!!!!

So this is a Jeon Wonwoo x f.reader oneshot I’ve been working on that’s part of a oneshot series that’s based around an alternate universe I came up with. I’ve planned 8 scenes for it and I’m half way through scene 4 and am already at 5.2k words.
The teaser I’m about to give you is far longer than the rest but I’m just really proud of the alternate universe I was able to come up with that I feel is just so unique. I really want to show you guys how it’s coming along and get you fired up as much as possible so you can pester me to finish it and get on with the other 12 members’ oneshots for this series too!
In a universe where people carry around their hearts, with some wearing them on their sleeves and others tucking them into the breast pocket of their blazers and out of people’s sight, Wonwoo appeared to be the only one adamant at keeping his at home and off his person when moving about. It wasn’t as though he was embarrassed by his heart or anything, it’s just that, carrying around his heart like most people usually would, was a heavy burden on him, literally. Everyone’s heart had a trait that matched the personality of the person they represented and, although they were all as unique as the person that owned them, they all had a similar trait. They were unbreakable - harder than diamond and more precious than any jewel. Despite this physical resilience to external forces, they can be fractured by one thing and one thing only: heartbreak.
Wonwoo’s heart was much like the rest in this quality, however, his had undergone a phenomenon he’d prefer to keep to himself rather than alert the cardiologists, who specialised in the field of hand-held hearts. Before his first heartbreak, Wonwoo’s heart was soft, in any way shape or form. Its surface was smooth like the finest silk and it was rather sizeable too, almost reaching farther than his fingertips when held in the centre of his palm. Not only that but his heart had the viscosity of fluffy marshmallows. Looking back on the time his heart was of that state was laughable because it directly matched his personality: funny and sweet, soft and malleable to any given situation. Now, however, he was hardly like that now and so was his heart.
Heartbreak really changed him as a person and usually, people who suffered through that would go through therapy or counselling with their heartbreaker in order to avoid any desperate change their heart and they, themselves, would make in response to the pain of heartbreak. Sometimes, breaking another person’s heart was punishable as a crime simply because of the adverse effect it can have on an individual, and so, it was always taught to children at a young age that when given the responsibility of another person’s heart, they should handle it with the utmost care. Wonwoo never had the pleasure of going through therapy or counselling for his heartbreak; he merely didn’t want the pity that came when people found out that he had gone through something like that, and he knows for certain that many people would be alerted of his suffering. If people had ever once been heartbroken in their lives it was put in their medical records as a signpost that their heart was more breakable now than before, he also didn’t want the sympathy of others if he were to enter the heartbreak clinic. He just wanted to avoid all the trivial attention.
And so, Wonwoo left his heart alone, to change and morph into stone. He didn’t know what stone it was but it was still as unbreakable as ever, with the exception of the damage heartbreak had brought - he wouldn’t dare test that out. Alongside the change of his heart, Wonwoo also made a drastic change in personality; now he was mostly silent and stoic, inclined to keep to just himself and his group of friends. He had become as quiet and still as his heart of stone.
This series isn’t out yet but it is in progress. It’s going to be a really long series that’s gonna have a lot of chapters and will possibly be an OT7 x f.r fic, I don’t know, maybe I’ll make it a member-centric in later chapters - again, it’s still a work in progress. I’m still planning everything out.
I might tweak some of the storyline because I don’t think having the entire thing progress over five years would be easy to do, unless I want to make multiple sequels for it, so like Harry Potter or something but no, that’s not gonna happen, unfortunately. I just won’t have the time.
But here is my inspirations list and what I’m directly finding inspiration in, just so that you can have a feel of what I want this series to be like:
- anime: Fairy Tail (Tournament + Powers)
- Harry Potter (Magic School)
- Hunger Games(?) (Tournament Style + Filming of events)
- Pokemon(?) (Mini Battles)
I’ve planned the ending (although it might change), the concept and workings of magic circles, the AU’s background/history, Elemental Stereotypes, the magic school’s background and I am in the middle of creating the members’ as well as Reader’s character profile.
I’ve also gone ahead and planned the first year of their school, although this could change because I want to take away the years that this would be progressing through and make it more straightforward.
This...I’ve been planning this for a while but haven’t really gotten to writing it yet. I’m hoping to make it into a mini one-shot series of Royal Encounters *wink**wonk* that’s subtly linked to each other.
This could end up being an OT7 x maid reader or individual members x maid reader but yeah! I’ve planned out all of the ‘encounters’ in bullet point format and hope to get to writing it for you Dolls soon!
SO I’ve been really busy, haha, despite being dead these few months, I’m so sorry that I take so long to post anything, I’m also sorry that I’m bad at building a relationship with you guys by not making casual posts like this often, where I can talk to you freely.
I guess, I just don’t feel like I’m an interesting enough of a person for you guys to be interested in talking to me in such a way. I also have many silent readers, who I appreciate a lot, but I guess that just reassures me more on the topic of ‘being silent with readers is okay’.
But please, if you have a question like ‘Are you still alive Dollie?’ or ‘how’s this work coming along?’, feel free to message me! I’ll happily reply as soon as possible! And it’ll draw my focus back onto what works I need to continue writing.

Prompt: angsty fic where you and Jungkook planned to go to the same college together but you/him end up passing somewhere out of your town and the idea doesn’t work out and puts a conflict between you two.

Summary: Your plans of attending the university in the same city as your boyfriend is no more possible when he gets an unmissable opportunity to attend a one in a different city far away.
A/N: this is my first attempt at fanfic so forgive me if it’s not nice. Also, I hope you guys like it.
You were a person that wanted life to go smoothly without any unnecessary problems. You knew it wasn’t 100% possible, that’s why you had your life planned out completely.
Your boyfriend, Jungkook, admired this quality of yours but he wasn’t one for too much planning and stuff but supported you nonetheless.
As part of planning your life, you decided where you would attend university take up what course and do what with that degree, when to get married and when to have kids. Jungkook being the amazing and supportive bunny wanted to make sure you were happy. So, you guys agreed you would try your best to attend the same uni or at least a uni in the same city.
As the final year of school was coming to an end you and Jungkook had began filing the applications for various universities in and around Busan as you didn’t want you and your boyfriend to travel too far away from your homes.
You had always wanted to pursue a career in law and hence applied to all the law schools in Busan and since Kookie had an interest and amazing talent in direction, he was looking for a film university.
So far, everything was going well. You had done fairly well in your final exams and were confident that you would get decent scores to get into your favourite uni and Kookie was working hard to shoot a short film that the uni had asked him to present.
In other words, it was also the best summer of your life, chilling with your friends, watching your boyfriend shoot some videos and when he’s slightly lacking motivation, posing as the model yourself.
It became the most amazing summer of your life when you received the acceptance letter to the uni you had been pining on the most.
After receiving congratulations from your family, you immediately ran to tell this amazing news to your boyfriend, who you hoped had also received an acceptance letter to his dream university in Busan.
When you reached his place, you greeted his mom with a polite smile and told her the happy news to which she congratulated you and directed you to his room saying he had some good news as well.
You went straight to his room without knocking as the two of you had been dating for quite sometime and you were the best of friends before that.
“KOOKIE!! I GOT IN!!” You squealed in excitement showing him your acceptance letter.
Seeing the letter and your excited face, he couldn’t help but give you the bunny smile despite the internal turmoil he faced.
“Your mom said you have some good news as well. What is it?” You asked sitting beside him on the bed.
“Ahh. that…” He dragged rubbing the nape of his neck with a nervous expression mixed with a tinge of guilt.
“What happened Kook? Is everything alright?” You asked worry lacing your voice. What happened that made Jeon Jungkook nervous especially with regard to a university’s acceptance letter?
In response, he just gave you the letter he had been reading and re-reading ever since her received it.
As you read the letter, you could feel your heart sink.
Jungkook had been accepted into the Korean Academy of Film Arts and had to be there in few weeks. Which by the way was in Seoul.
You were incredibly happy for him for being accepted into such a prestigious university. But when did he apply to it? Why didn’t he tell you about it? Did he think you wouldn’t support him if he told you?
“When did you apply?” You asked your voice trembling slightly looking up to see his guilt-ridden face.
“My Hyung wanted me apply for this too when we were filling the applications to the Busan universities. I applied only to satisfy him.”
“Why didn’t you tell me? If you had I would have applied to some Seoul university too. You know how much I wanted to attend uni at the same place as you.”
“I didn’t tell because I honestly didn’t think I’d get accepted. I thought I’d tell you about this when I get accepted into some uni here in Busan as a joke. I’m sorry jagi.”
“So, you’re going all the way to Seoul huh?” You asked him returning his letter with some bitterness in your voice.
The person with whom you clearly laid down all the plans to a life you imagined with, shattered it. Because he didn’t trust you enough with one small detail of his life that could have – no it was now a big detail that changed both your lives.
“Jagi, I’m really sorry I didn’t tell you. It was not my intention to not tell you. And even now I’m not sure about this offer. I don’t know if I’m going to be accepting this.” He said with pleading eyes.
“Nonsense. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m so proud you Kookie. Wait till your brother hears this. He’s going to be the happiest person ever. Aren’t I right, (Y/N)?” his mom asked you as she brought some snacks for the both of you.
“She’s right Kook. You should go for this. This is an amazing opportunity for you to achieve your dreams.” You said trying really hard to not cry in front of him or his mom. No matter how much you hurt, you always made it a point to never cry in front of anyone no matter how close you were to them.
You were hurting and it was because of him. That thought alone made him feel so guilty that he hated himself for that.
However, this went unnoticed by his mom.
“Listen to her and respond to that letter and start packing.” His mom said before walking out of the room closing the door behind her.
The room was absolutely quiet after she left. Jungkook didn’t know what to say to make you feel better and you were trying so hard to fight your tears.
“I should go. You have a lot to prepare for.” You said getting up from the bed. Jungkook grabs your hand stopping you from taking a step further away.
“(Y/N). I’m really sorry.” He said with pleading eyes.
“I know Kook. It’s ok.” You said pulling away and going back to your home ignoring both his and your mom’s worried looks straight to your room.
You hadn’t come out of your room for the rest of the day and didn’t respond to any calls or text from anyone. You wanted to be alone, to process all that was happening.
Jungkook was moving out of town. A major change in the plans the two of you planned together. He was moving somewhere 300 kilometres away. Where does this put you? Will you two will be able to maintain a long-distance relationship? Will it work? Also, he had to leave in a matter of weeks. How did life get so complicated in a matter of few minutes?
Tired of thinking and overthinking, you finally fell into a dreamless sleep.
The next morning when you woke up you knew what you had to do. It was a difficult decision but you had to do it. For yourself and Jungkook.
You immediately took your phone to text Kookie to ask you to come meet him at the café the both of you frequented often only to notice so many missed calls and messages from him apologising and asking you to give him one chance to talk.
Y/N: Hey. Can we meet?
JK: Of course. I was really worried. Are you ok? I’m coming to your place right now.
Y/N: I’m fine. We’ll meet at our usual café in an hour.
JK: Sure. Everything is ok right?
You didn’t know how to respond to that text. Everything was not alright. But you want it to be alright. That simple text from him made you question the decision you took. But now it was too late to back out.
Y/N: I’m not sure Kook.
You responded truthfully and locked your phone to get ready to meet him.
When you arrived at the café, Jungkook was already sipping on his Americano waiting for you to show up and smiled at you when he saw you. The smile was not one of his usual bunny smiles. It was pained and that made you feel even more guilty for what you were about to do.
He passed you your favourite drink as you took a seat. He always knew what you liked and tried to do as much as possible to make you smile and happy. No matter how worse your mood was, he always knew what to do or say to make you feel better.
Taking a small sip of your Choco shake that he ordered, you looked at him not quiet knowing how to tell him your decision.
He understood that you were about to say something important and hence placed his drink on the table and sat straight.
“You wanted to say something…?” He prompted knowing if you hadn’t said it yet, it was something that was deeply bothering you and this time he also knew what was bothering you but unfortunately unlike in the past how he had a solution, this time he didn’t.
“Yea.” You said taking another sip of your Choco shake feeling the confidence you felt this morning slip away.
“About yesterday.” You started. He nodded encouraging you to go ahead almost bracing himself for the worst also expecting to not hear it.
“Kook. I’m really happy about the offer you got. You should really go for it, like your mom said it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. I thought about it. About what would happen when you take that offer. You would move out of Busan and I’d still be here.”
“We can have a long-distance relationship, like we saw in that movie.” He suggested looking at you with all seriousness.
“I thought about it too. And this is real life, Kook. Not a movie. Also, long distance relationships are not that easy to maintain. We know how clingy the both of us can get when something upsets us. We will miss each other terribly. Also, there is this stupid jealousy we might get when either one of us is spending time or posting something with another person.”
“What are you getting at (Y/N)?” he asked sensing the direction of the conversation and dreading how it is going to end for the both of them.
“I think it is better to end it now without much hard feelings before it ends with the both of us hurt beyond repair.” You said not able to keep your voice steady and unable to look at him, to see how you broke him with just your words.
“Is that what you think is good for the both of us?”
“Yes.” You replied still unable to look at him.
“Okay.” He said he said setting his drink back on the table. This made you finally look at him. You could see he was hurt. He also respected your decision no matter how much it hurt him. That made you feel like the worst person on the planet. You were hurt too. But this was for the best for the both of you.
But then again you also expected some sort of resistance from his side though you wanted him to accept this decision of yours. You met with not one single complaint from him. This was the Jeon Jungkook you fell in love with years ago. The bunny boii that always put your happiness over his. You had sworn to never hurt let anything hurt him no matter how tough he pretended to be in front of you or how tough he actually was. But here you are, returning his heart that was given to you for safekeeping, shattered to pieces.
All these thoughts made a single tear slip out followed by uncontrollable sobs. You didn’t care right now that you were in a public place with so many people looking at you. All you cared about right now were the arm that was always around you, like right now holding you tight against him making all the bad things go away.
You didn’t know how long you sobbed into his arms. But after some time, you finally found the strength to pull away and looked at him, wiping your tears.
You saw that he had cried along with you while attempting to console you. You slowly reached out and wiped his tears as well, placing your palm against his cheek.
“One of the main reasons I want this to end is because, I don’t deserve you Kook. You deserve someone far better than me that doesn’t break your heart like this. Go to Seoul and become that director you want to be and find a person that makes you feel as special as you made me feel these past years. If no the same then more. Goodbye Kookie.” You said placing a small kiss on his cheek and walked out of that café without turning around to look at it or him.
Because if you did, you knew you won’t be able to stop yourself from going back to him and seeking the comfort of his arms.

Today is the day he’s leaving. Leaving Busan, his parents, his Hyung, his friends, also you. It was bittersweet day in his life. If you had told him a year back that he would be going to Korean Academy of Film Arts, he would have laughed at your face. But here was on his way to the airport to catch a flight to Seoul.
He hadn’t seen you again ever since you walked out of that café and didn’t try to contact you either. He knew it was a hard decision for you to take and respected it. But he missed you. He hoped for you to send him at least a farewell text before he boarded the flight. But he also knew that you wouldn’t because you didn’t want to raise his hopes for a relationship that had ended.
After bidding farewell to his parents, Hyung and all the friends that had come to see him off, he sat in his seat inside the aircraft still feeling empty. He suddenly felt his phone vibrate inside his pocket. It was a message from you. He opened it as his heart was hammering against his chest anticipating the content of the message.
It was a simple ‘All the best, Kook.’ But that made him feel empty no more. He knew this was going to hurt him later. But at the moment he didn’t care. He was satisfied with this.

Content Creator Update (Warning: Long)
I’ve been meaning to make this post for quite some time now, but... well, this entire post itself could be used as a reason for why even this update took so long to see the light of day. So I just wanted to talk to you guys about what’s been going on lately, and how I intend to proceed from here on out.
THE EXPLANATION
As I write this message, I am in the midst of exam season. It might seem a little silly of me to be writing it right now, but this is actually the calmest things have been for me for awhile. Even during my holiday break, I was still doing schoolwork. I calculated it and uh... nine out of the fourteen days that I got off of school, I spent working. As classic of an excuse it is to not be working on all of this stuff that I do for you guys, I’ve been an absolute mess of due dates since the beginning of September. This year in school, I’ve been trying a lot of new things -- which has been totally great for my learning and my experiences, but has also been very stressful for me to try and balance.
If you were to try and get me to list some of my successes from this semester, it would probably become somewhat clear to you what I’ve been up against... so some of my biggest projects have included editing & scripting & recording audio for a 32 minute documentary for my tech course, planning a school event (tours for the incoming students) as a major project, writing a full-length poetry collection and a full-length short story, reading six different novels for school (all overlapping), being a peer helper who created lessons and attended events for my students, and being a leader for my school’s art club as we try to plan an art show. And these are only the bigger things that I did this year! I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’ve been working pretty hard to get things done. It seemed like from September to November, I was even giving up my lunch breaks to work on school projects. I’d maybe have two to three hours when I got home from school, and then I’d go right back to work again. It really was an exhausting schedule!
Needless to say, it most certainly impacted the progress I was able to make on projects like Danganronpa 21. If the sheer amount of assignments and extra homework I had to do was not enough to get in the way of my writing time, then my lack of energy for it surely would. Half the time when I would find a sliver of time to work on Danganronpa 21, my body and brain were tired and were not having it. I would force myself to write it anyway, and then end up not liking where it had gone because I didn’t have the brain power to actually think about what I was doing. At the current moment, I’m actually on the sixth version of The Old World’s Future’s fifth chapter because I kept running head first in to the same problem because I couldn’t think about what I was doing wrong. It didn’t occur to me that if I were trying to build up a friendship, I should probably consider actually having it build rather than just making them instantly appreciate each other. Furthermore, just because I wrote down “do this”... does not mean I planned it. I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote something in my plans and then immediately refused to keep going on that point that was really very crucial to progression, but regardless now I have to go back and try to expand on it. Apologies for getting a bit huffy with myself there, I’m just frustrated and guilty over how long I’ve made the wait for something new. I promise it was never my intention, and I’d really like to get back on the horse as soon as I can. I’m hoping that perhaps my next semester will be easier, as my writing-heavy and weirdly demanding courses are behind me. I’ll even have the benefit of a spare period, too! So hopefully, this will grant me just a little bit less exhaustion and just a little bit more time. Thank you all so much again for all of the patience you have given me, because I appreciate it so much!! I know I say it all the time but you are all so sweet!! I literally don’t deserve you!! I’m going to do my best to keep creating content for you, and hopefully I won’t disappoint!!
THE FULL CONTENT UPDATE
Naegiri Week 2018: I’m sure some of you have noticed, but I never actually got to finish writing my prompts for Naegiri Week 2018! Work managed to get in the way even more right at the end, so after days of submitting things late I was forced to postpone it entirely. However, I do intend to finish them even though 2018 is over! I’m not sure whether or not I’ll post them on here (or if that will annoy the poor NaegiriWeek moderators in some way, I don’t want to be any trouble to the nice people!) or if I will simply upload them to ArchiveOfOurOwn (just a reminder, you can find me there under makot0naegi). Regardless, I intend to finish them up as best I can and give you something to enjoy. I can’t say for sure when I will be done them, but at the very least uh... they will come before Chapter 5 of Danganronpa 21. I’ll try to get them done while I’ve got the free time!
Regeneration, Rebuild: I dunno if there is a huge demand for this one, but if at all possible I’d like to start uploading more stories to this little one-shot collection. In particular, I think I’d really like to focus on one of the families or relationships that is NOT the Naegi-Kirigiris. Much as I love them, I really would like for the others to have their time in the spotlight as well. Currently I’m thinking of having it focus on Byakuya, and the struggles he faces with his son and being a single father. It would be kind of angsty but also kind of touching, and that’s about the extent of what I will tell you lest I start to spoil things. I’m really good at that, hahah.
Danganronpa 21: The Old World’s Future: As I mentioned previously, I am on six layers of Chapter 5. I’ve been fighting myself tooth and nail in an attempt to get this right, and I’m not about to stop trying now! I think what I need right now is just some time to sort myself out -- where I’m going, what I’m writing, and knowing concretely and for sure of what I’m doing. If anybody’s open to it, I might even like to bounce ideas off of people for the next chapter as I work on it. If there was one thing I learned from my creative writing course this year, it’s that working with others is actually way less scary than you think it will be... and it’s actually pretty helpful and fun! So if anybody has anything they want to suggest or talk about, hit me up and lemme know! Additionally, because I have so many scrapped versions of Chapter 5, I’m hoping to share some of the deleted scenes with you as well as unused sprites and any other things that I made or thought of while I was working!
Bonus Content: If anything, this is one thing I will try to keep a steady flow on. I’m going to do my best to update you with bonus content both here, and on my Instagram page (@kotocake) so that you’re never too too drained of anything you might be interested in.
Non-Danganronpa Stuff: If that’s of any interest to you, I’ve got stuff for that too! Lately I’ve been thinking about doing a little bit of writing and other mediums in relation to a few other things... but I dunno for sure about most of them. The only thing I really have my heart set on is Fire Emblem Awakening fanfiction. My friend suggested the game for me awhile ago and I finally got a copy for my birthday back in December, and I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve had a few cute and fun ideas for stuff for it, so if anybody else is interested I am more than ready!
CONCLUSION
Allow me to get mushy gushy again and say that you guys are all angels, and I adore all of you, and I am so lucky to have such eager yet patient people supporting the things that I do. It really makes me so happy to see others responding to my work and further responding to me as a person, too. I love having this group of people, and I honestly look forward to all of the time we will continue to have together. You are all amazing!! I'm so glad Kirishima is getting so much spotlight, he really deserves it!!!! And it looks like hes gonna get more, since hes in the main group along with Deku, Uraraka and Tsuyu. I;m so hyped!!!
Honestly!!!!!!!!!!! That’s one interesting group tbh, Kirishima and Tsuyu’s interactions are always incredibly adorable to watch and seeing Kirishima interact for so long with pure and good people is gonna be hard on my heart (I mean, you know I’m 100% a bakusquad fan but they’re all at least in part assholes and Kiri fits with them just right, he can be just like Sero and Kaminari and I love it, but then his interactions with Amajiki have been so pure can you imagine an arc filled with that I’m already crying)
I just hope my other faves won’t completely disappear through this arc haha sigh

And I dunno, as things are now my opinion on a possible ship might change soon enough because it looks like their interactions amount is about to skyrocket, so anything I say right now is just a temporary answer? But generally I find their friendship incredibly adorable, though as of now I don’t think I can see anything romantic between the two... mostly because even though I’ve seen them being friendly and supportive of each other I don’t think I’ve ever seen them actually connect over anything that wasn’t Bakugou?? For however much Kaminari swore he could deal with it and how much he’s actually managing to deal with it he’s also the same brand of open book Baku and Kiri are and while it was easy to act like friends with no romantic feelings when everyone was doing the same, trying to hide from Bakugou and Kirishima while they’re openly in a relationship turns out to be more or less impossible, mostly because he can’t seem to avoid the longing stares and sad smiles and the I have to go I just remembered I have a thing to do bye’s when it becomes too much, and Kirishima might not be the brightest but he’s perfectly in tune with everyone’s feelings and Bakugou might stomp on people’s feelings more often than not but he is the brightest which means they notice and they’re like god fucking damn it - Bakugou in nature isn’t one to talk about problems until they burst out in fits of anger, but thank god he’s got Kirishima right there and they might not be 100% sure they got the reason for Kaminari’s weirdness right but they’re exasperated and they at least want their friend to stop being weird and avoiding them, they miss him (and Kaminari seriously misses them too he feels so stupid for how big of a deal he’s turning this into) SO they corner him and talk it out cause I’m a slut for open and honest communication and Kaminari straight out starts crying from happiness and relief before they’re even done talking and Kirishima starts crying right after him because sympathetic crier supreme and Bakugou’s like you know what I changed my mind fuck both of you emotional disasters I’m out
