The advantage of being a very young artist is that you don't really abide by your limit for what you draw.

Did I know how to draw horses when I was in middle school? Nope.

Did that stop me from deciding that this character owned a horse? Nope.

Would I ever feel like giving a horse to a more recent character? Fuck no, I struggle each time I draw horses even with references.

And yet here I am, with the perfect OC for the prompt Saddle because middle school me thought it'd be awesome for this character to have a horse :)

watched Grease the other night with my buddy and. well. obviously i Had To

Anyway.

Since it was such an old drawing (2014), I decided for the 2022 version to touch up her Christmas dress, since Ariel is supposed to give a rich girl vibe.... And having her holding a fan didn't make sense ^^' Also I've made this version with color since, the reason I didn't use it on the older drawing is that I didn't know how to use them back then! Or at least not without feeling like I made my drawing uglier. Part of my progress is that I have now acquired that skill <3
