Mick and you have always gone on little dates but you two always chalked it as small "friend dates". Your friends always teased the two of you. But you and Mick never took it to heart. One day, Mick invited you to go shopping with him. You knew Mick hated shopping but also he knew you loved shopping. So you figured it was Mick trying to get you out of the house and hang out with him. You quickly got dressed and walked down the block to Mick's apartment where he said he'll be. You walked past the gorgeous trees and flowers in the neighborhood until you knocked on Mick's door. He answered.

"Y/N! You're here, are you ready for the today?" Mick said smiling widely. You tucked your hair behind your ear and smiled at him.

"Yeah! But why shopping? I thought you hated it?" You asked confused. Mick chuckles a bit and begins walking by your side.

"Well, I know. But I know you like it so I decided why not. If it makes you happy then I'm happy." Mick said looking at you gently. You chuckled and continued walking. While walking you talked to Mick, about life issues and basic things you've always talked about. Mick listened as you spoke confidently.

"You have a lot on your mind I suppose since you're really talkative today," Mick said kindly. You giggled and held onto Mick's hand gently. Mick jumped a bit due to the sudden motion but then fell soft to your touch. Mick's face burned bright pink and he looked away in shyness. You realized what you did and let go quickly.

"Oh, I'm sorry Mick! I got a little too excited." You said looking up at Mick in embarrassment. Mick smiles faintly. Mick looks at you and reassures you it's okay.

"No need to apologize, love, you can hold my hand whenever you like," Mick said in a gentle tone. Which sends shivers down your spine and blush to arise from your cheekbones. You two continued to walk until you reached the small shops. Your eyes lit up in excitement while Mick sighed in relief to be finally there. You quickly ran to the first shop that caught your eye which was a candy store. You ran inside with Mick following behind. You paced around looking at the candy in awe. Mick looks around with you. It was around Christmas time so lots of the candy in the shop were Santa and Christmas tree-themed. On one of the shelves in the store, was a cute Santa hat. You grabbed it and walked up to Mick who was looking at the different types of chocolates to buy for himself.

"Hey Mick, look at this cute hat I found!" You said holding up the hat. Mick turns to you and giggles at the hat. You quickly place the hat on Mick's head. Mick positions it correctly and poses to get a laugh out of you. You begin to laugh at Mick's pose. The hat was way too tiny for Mick.

"You look so silly!" You said still laughing. Mick smiled. "What do you want for Christmas young lady?" Mick said in a slightly deeper voice. You giggled more and looked down at the chocolates Mick was looking at.

"What chocolate are you getting?" You asked Mick. Mick smiled and held up the two bars he was getting, taking the tiny hat off and putting it back where you found it.

"These ones, this one has nuts while this one has raisins." He said smiling. "Ew raisins." You said jokingly. Mick rolled his eyes in a joking manner. You then grabbed both of them from Mick and walked to the counter. Mick was shocked and chased after you.

"Y/N no! I can pay! A gentleman always pays." Mick said out loud. It spread a smile across your face and you quickly turned your head towards Mick. Mick's face was soft and innocent.

"Fine, if you pay. Can we visit the flower field down the block?" You asked Mick. Mick nodded his head and walked to the counter to pay. The cashier walked from the back and quickly rang up Mick's items.

"Is this all or is your lover getting anything?" The cashier asked pointing at you. Mick looked at you and smiled. You look up quickly from the cashier's words, grab a bag of mixed candies from the side of the cash register, and place it on top of Mick's chocolate bars.

"That'll be it. My chocolate bars and my girlfriend's bag of candy." Mick said to the cashier. The cashier nods and Mick pays for the candy. You smiled at Mick's word calling you his girlfriend. The two of you walk out of the shop and head down to the field. It fell silent due to you searching through the bag of candy finding your favorite pieces. Mick was looking at you in a soft tone.

"Can't find a piece you like?" Mick finally broke out. You smiled and chuckled at Mick's question. Mick takes the bag from you and begins looking for the candy you like from the bag. He eventually finds one and you put your hand out. But no, Mick aims towards your lips with the candy. You're surprised but happily open your mouth to eat. Mick places the candy piece in your mouth and smiles. You begin to chew.

"Thank you, Mick! You always know me so well." You said blushing brightly. Mick nods and smiles at you. You two eventually reach the flower field Mick promised. And the pair of you quickly ran down the hill and fell into the field. You lay next to Mick as he tried catching his breath. You two lay silent staring at the sky admiring it. It was nice and quiet. The only sound around was the light winds and swaying trees. You broke the silence with a question.

"Mick, what are we? I know we're not just friends. I feel special around you." You asked staring into the sky further watching the clouds come and go. Mick chuckles and turns his head towards you. He clears his throat and sighs.

"Y/N, we can be anything we desire. But I know deep inside you are always mine. You are always what I think love is." Mick said looking at you and admiring your beauty. You turned your head at Mick and grinned widely. You lift your hand and caress Mick's face. Mick closed his eyes and accepted your touch. You moved closer to him and looked at his lips admiring them. And with no resistance, you kissed him. Mick melted in your hands and began to deepen the kiss. You pulled away and smiled.

"So I guess this makes us lovers now?" You said winking. Mick blushed brightly again and hid his face with his hands. You quickly grab a hold of his hands and place them downward. Exposing Mick's very brightly red face. He looked absolutely stunning, his eyelashes fluttered and his teeth shined when he smiled.

"You don't have to be embarrassed Mick. I'm always here. You can always be confident when you're with me." You said quietly in Mick's ear. Mick smirked faintly and kissed you on the cheek. You giggled and the rest of the time. You two stared into the sky talking about nonsense that you two didn't care about.
