hihi! would you mind maybe doing a tutorial on how you color on paper please? Especially for your Micah piece omg it’s so good, markers KILL me they’re impossible to use
Tysm!!!
First, I sketch on a 200-gram sheet with a red pencil of any material, although I recommend a red wooden pencil.
Tumblr media
Why? Watercolor can be a bit tricky with red pencil. The main reason is that red often contains more transparent and finer pigments than other colors, making it absorb more quickly into the paper.
Knowing this and having our sketch, it's time to move on to watercolor ^-^
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1- Choose the base color for your drawing, in my case, I'll use red as the base color.
**Tip: The color should be diluted if you want to use it as a base, although this depends on what you want to represent! In my case, I diluted it with red.
Afterward, I like to outline where the shadows will go with the same base color, so that when you put the character's colors on top of the base, they look shiny.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2- You must let it dry well, and then start painting on your dry base!
**Tip: I start painting from back to front, I don't know how to explain it well, but consider the following order:
Skin
Hair
Hat
Clothing Or if you're doing a drawing with a background:
Background
Skin
Hair
Hat
This is to make your watercolor look clean, but if you have a different way of painting, it's not necessary to follow the order ^-^
Tumblr media Tumblr media
PS: Try to follow the shadow pattern you made with the character's color. I made some videos to make it easier to understand 🐤✨
Tumblr media
3- Then, when everything is ready and dry, I like to emphasize with different types of black gel pencils to give it a comic book aesthetic, like my drawing style.
Here's a video where you can see a bit of the process

Micah Bell III (The Third)
(The above photo was taken at Clemen's Point)
(Warning: This post contains spoilers!)
About
Name: Micah Bell III (Referred to simply as Micah Bell)
Age:* 39 (RDR2 Ch1-6) 47 (RDR2 Ep1/2)
(*In a newspaper clipping found at his Strawberry camp, it states that in 1877 his father was wanted for murder with a 17 year old son that was Micah based on this quote "suspects are believed to be one Micah Bell, age 38, and his son, also Micah Bell, age 17")
Description: (official description from R*)
A career criminal and hitman, Micah fell in with Dutch's gang about five months ago. He claims he met Dutch when he saved his life in a bar fight over some stolen gold. He comes from a long line of bad men. His father and grandfather before him were also called Micah Bell and, at one point, his father was wanted for murder in five counties. He has a brother living in California, whom he despises. Wild, unpredictable and something of a nihilist, he lives for the action, and is great in a gun fight.
Quick Facts
He has a younger brother named Amos (a letter from his brother can be found at Shady Belle)
We know Micah is the older brother because of the tradition of naming the first born son after the father, hence Micah Bell the Third.
Though his description says he "despises" his brother, it's clear by the letter found at Shady Belle from Amos that Micah was the one to reach out to Amos first, though his intentions were not clear as we didn't see what was in the letter he sent Amos.
He's been a criminal since as young as 17, a newspaper clipping can be found in his camp near Strawberry about him and his father being wanted for murder.
During a conversation he implies Jenny Kirk might have been carrying "Micah Bell the fourth" which many fans assume wasn't consensual, but there is no evidence either way or even that he was telling the truth since she isn't alive to deny it.
He has some sort of lung/respiratory issue as he is constantly snorting, clearing his throat, and coughing.
Outfits by chapter
Ch 1: Colter
Like everyone else he only has the one outfit in Colter which is also the only time he wears the coat shown, it's a shade of red, and a greenish head wrap.
Tumblr media
Ch 2-4 & 6:
His outfit after Colter is pretty much always the same with small variations. Photo 1: Black short coat buttoned, red long sleeved shirt buttoned to the top button. Photo 2: no coat, same red shirt with only a few buttons buttoned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only time his coat is buttoned is at Horseshoe Overlook, above, but the rest of the outfits are pretty much the same: Some variation of black and red with tan/dirty white pants, with and without his hat.
Tumblr media
He also has one outfit where he wears black pants tucked into black boots which are different than the boots in every other outfit (They are possibly the ones he wears during the heist in chapter 4 and on Guarma.) The coat shown above is also the one he wears at Clemen's point.
In the first outfit below he has a red vest over a black shirt and a different black coat, second he has his red shirt and necktie to the side with black jacket from previous, and third he's in his red shirt, no jacket, and the necktie is in a different position.
Tumblr media
Bank Heist Outfit
Tumblr media
Ch 5: Guarma
He only has one outfit which looks two different ways: before the shipwreck and after. (Since they went from the heist to the ship it is presumed that the shirt below simply wasn't visible under the white jacket, red vest, and white puff tie he wore.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Outfit Details
He always (except for two instances) has his signature weapons, the custom double-action revolvers. (those two instances being before retrieving them in Strawberry where he'll use whatever weapon Arthur hands him and on the island of Guarma - even though he had them during the bank robbery and presumably on the ship.)
His custom double-action revolvers: The words "Vengeance is hereby mine" are etched onto each barrel and the grips are black with a red skull design.
Tumblr media
His guns on Guarma: Seem to be plain double-action revolvers, presumably borrowed/stolen.
Tumblr media
Epilogue (Part 2)
His outfit is similar to the one he wore in Colter only the green scarf isn't over his head.
Tumblr media
Life/Events
Micah Bell III was born circa 1860 to Micah Bell Jr. According to a newspaper clipping found at Micah camp near Strawberry, when he was 17, in 1877, he and his father were on the run for the brutal double homicide of Roscoe and Jean Briggs, who were hung from the rafters with their throats slit.
It is presumed he also ran with his younger brother for a time before the latter settled down with a wife and kids. A letter found at Shady Belle implies Micah reached out to Amos, but the younger Bell told him not to contact him again and if he heard Micah was "within fifty miles of [him], [he] will come and find [Micah] and then [Micah would] meet [his] maker and apologise to him on both [their] behalves for them things [they] did".
Missions
Chapter 1: Colter -
Micah is in four of the six missions in chapter 1.
He is in the very first mission of the game Outlaws from the West. He is part of Old Friends and is the one to find the map about the train for Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall? And like everyone he is part of Eastward Bound.
Chapter 2: Horseshoe Overlook -
Micah is in one and a second (player determined) mission in chapter 2.
After freeing Micah from jail in Blessed are the Meek? the player has the option of completing the next mission, An American Pastoral Scene, (which will bring Micah back to camp) either in chapter 2 or chapter 3.
Chapter 3: Clemen's Point -
Micah is in 3 of 16 missions with possibly another if An American Pastoral Scene wasn't completed in chapter 2.
He goes with Dutch and Arthur in Blessed are the Peacemakers, he waits with Sean and Bill for Arthur in town for A Short Walk in a Pretty Town, and while he doesn't go to the Braithwaite Manor he's in a cutscene for Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern so he's listed as being in that mission on the wikia.
Chapter 4: Shady Belle -
The only mission he's in for chapter 4 is the bank heist in Banking, The Old American Art. Though, like most other characters in camp, he is present for Horsemen, Apocalypses as well.
Chapter 5: Guarma -
As one of the group on the island he is in 6 of the 10 missions for chapter 5.
The first mission, Lost and Not Quite Found, Welcome to the New World, Hell Hath No Fury, and finally the mission to leave the island Paradise Mercifully Departed. And then back at camp with the rest of the gang he is then in Fleeting Joy where it's shown he and Javier arrived in Lakay before Arthur, Dutch, then Bill and he's shown in cutscenes in That's Murfree Country.
It is assumed he was picked up by Pinkertons sometime between arriving back to the US and meeting back up with everyone in Lakay and that that's how the Pinkertons knew the gang was there. However, there are two alternatives 1) if Arthur doesn't find the letter at Shady Belle one of the Pinkerton agents will find it and read it aloud. They'll even state that they're going to check there. 2) When Bill finally arrives last he says he was asking all over for them and not long after, the Pinkertons are there. Both are plausible ways the Pinkertons could've found the gang that didn't involve Micah. (Yes, at that point he was a rat and it's 100% plausible that he did just tell them, I'm just giving two other ways that also make sense.)
Chapter 6: Beaver Hollow -
He is in 5 of the 15 missions in chapter 6.
Arthur meets Micah and Dutch in Annesburg in Just a Social Call where Dutch kills Cornwall and the three have to shoot their way out of town. Micah sends Arthur and Bill to get dynamite in The Delights of Van Horn. He goes with everyone to Cornwall Kerosene & Tar in My Last Boy. He's part of the train heist in Our Best Selves and the following mission Red Dead Redemption he is in all four of the various endings you can get.
Epilogue 2: Beecher's Hope -
The only and final mission he's in is the final mission of the game, American Venom where he ultimately gets gunned down by John.
Camp Life
Micah can be seen whittling a stick, sharpening his knife and cleaning his guns. Arthur can challenge him to five finger fillet. He never goes on guard duty, but occasionally he will announce at the donation box that he's putting money in (usually $25).
Tumblr media
He never sleeps; when everyone else is in bed he'll sit at the main fire. The only time he's seen sleeping is if he's been drinking as part of a camp scene (i.e. drinking with Javier) and passes out at a table (shown below) or in a cutscene.
Tumblr media
Death
During the final mission of the game before free roam, Micah is shot to death by John in 1907, after he, Charles, and Sadie track Micah down to his hideout atop Mount Hagan. While holding Sadie hostage and while he and Dutch hold John at gunpoint, Dutch makes the decision to shoot Micah, allowing John to shoot as many times as the player wants. After his death if the player returns to the area they can loot one of Micah's custom guns and find his now frozen body beside it.

RDR Event Timeline (Canon + Headcanon)
This is the timeline I have constructed and use for all of my Red Dead writings. Canon event dates/ages are taken from the Red Dead Wiki, and headcanon estimations for more ambiguous events/characters are based on their approximate ages in-game by 1899 and what makes the most logical sense to me based on that timeline.
Please feel free to use this as a reference for your own works too, if it helps. (Canon events are noted as such, and my headcanons are labeled "HC.")
1839 - Uncle born (HC)
1844 - Hosea Matthews born (Canon)
1845 - Rains Fall born (HC)
1846 - Leopold Stauss born (HC)
1850 - Susan Grimshaw born (HC)
1853 - Orville Swanson born (HC)
1855 - Dutch Van der Linde born (Canon)
1857 - Josiah Trelawney born (HC)
1860 - Micah Bell III born (Canon) (newspaper clipping mentions Micah Bell Jr. robbing with his 17-year-old son in 1877)
1861 - Simon Pearson born (HC)
1863 - Arthur Morgan born (Canon)
1866 - Bill Williamson born (Canon)
1870 - Dutch leaves home aged 15 (Canon); Kieran Duffy born (HC)
1871 - Sadie Adler born (HC)
1872 - Charles Smith born (HC) (based on est. age of 27 in 1899)
1873 - John Marston born (Canon); Javier Escuella born (HC)
1874 - Lyle Morgan arrested and hanged, Arthur orphaned (Canon); Molly O'Shea born (HC)
1875 - Karen Jones born (HC)
1876 - Dutch and Hosea meet outside of Chicago, IL (Canon); Sean MacGuire born (HC)
1877 - Abigail Roberts born; Arthur joins the gang, aged 14 (Canon)
1878 - Eagle Flies born (HC)
1879 - Tilly Jackson and MaryBeth Gaskill born (HC)
1880 - Lenny Summers born (Canon)
1881 - John Marston's father dies, John orphaned (Canon)
1882- Annabelle and Bessie join the gang (HC)
1883 - Bessie and Hosea marry and leave the gang (Canon); Arthur meets and begins dating Mary Gillis (HC) (Jamie Gillis references both Annabelle and Bessie during the mission in Chapter 2, so IMO this would've been the most likely time for all 3 to have met one another.)
1884 - Dutch kills Colm O'Driscoll's unnamed brother, Annabelle killed by Colm in retaliation; Hosea returns to the gang (HC)
1885 - John Marston and Susan Grimshaw join the gang (Canon); Charles Smith leaves home, aged 13 (HC) (based on est. DOB 1872)
1886 - Arthur proposes to and subsequently breaks up with Mary in the springtime; Arthur meets Eliza (19) later in the year, and Isaac is conceived (HC)
1887 - Lee & Hoyt Bank Robbery, April (Canon); Isaac Morgan born (HC) (According to Arthur in-game, Eliza only knew who he was after she got pregnant. Based on this they most likely met in late 1886 or very early 1887, with the bank robbery in April '87 and Isaac born that autumn.)
1888 - Death of Bessie Matthews (HC) (based on the assumption that she passed some time before Arthur lost his son. Her cause of death is never specified in canon, but I HC it was a fairly quick battle with pneumonia over the winter.)
1891 - Isaac Morgan (4) and Eliza (23) killed in a home robbery (HC)
1892 - Bill Williamson dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Army (Canon); Uncle joins the gang (HC)
1893 - Bill Williamson joins the gang (Canon)

1895 - Jack Marston born; Javier joins the gang (Canon)
1896 - John Marston leaves the gang; Jake and Sadie Adler marry in September (Canon)
1897 - John Marston returns to the gang after a year (Canon)
1898 - Micah Bell, Charles Smith, Lenny Summers, and Jenny Kirk join the gang (Canon)
1899 - Blackwater Massacre; dissolving of the Van der Linde gang; deaths of Jenny Kirk, Mac and Davey Callender, Sean MacGuire, Kieran Duffy, Hosea Matthews, Lenny Summers, Molly O'Shea, Eagle Flies, Susan Grimshaw, and Arthur Morgan (Canon)
1907 - Construction of Beecher's Hope ranch; John and Abigail marry; death of Micah Bell III (Canon)
1911 - Kidnapping of Abigail and Jack Marston by the U.S. Government in exchange for John's cooperation; deaths of Bill Williamson, Javier Escuella, Dutch Van der Linde, Uncle, and John Marston (Canon)
1914 - Death of Abigail Marston; Jack Marston kills Edgar Ross to avenge his father's murder (Canon)

My Wretched, Bastard Sister
Platonic!MicahxSister!Reader
(Before 1899) Summary: This part details how you met your half-brother Micah and the life you lived prior to joining the Van der Linde Gang. Warnings: References to Physical ab-se, verbal ab-se, neglect, angst, unhealthy relationships (co-dependent), viol-ice, blood, reader is written as a half-sibling for immersion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only thing you share with your brother is a father and a name. You don’t look much like him at all, which is a blessing you’re unaware of. Before your father took you, you lived with your mother. She was the daughter of a farmer who was disowned for falling pregnant out of wedlock. His name was Micah Bell Jr., and he left not long after bedding your mother in the family barn.  All her misfortune was put unto you, for she blamed you and you alone. Mother was cold at best. Her beauty helped her earn money, but not a husband. Your presence made it hard for the wealthy bachelors around town to take her hand. Over and over your mother would scream at you for ruining her life, how she didn’t want you there.
The day Micah Bell Jr. came riding back into town felt like divine providence to your mother.
You were a girl of only twelve when she dragged you into the saloon where the Bell Boys were said to be staying in. He was an ugly man, your father. Tall, grey-haired, with wild eyes and a wide mouth with his front teeth missing. At either side of him were his two sons, Micah Bell III and Amos Bell. Micah Jr. couldn’t remember your mother at all. He and his eldest son mocked you both as your mother shoved you forward. Mother insisted that you were his bastard and that he should claim you, take you away. All your father seemed to care about was if you knew how to cook a meal. When your mother said yes, you were riding out of town with them that same day.
The father who stole you had no love to give. He made clear right away that he only claimed you because you could be useful. Micah III didn’t want anything to do with you. Your eldest brother was in his late twenties when you came into his life. Micah always looked a bit older than his years to you. You suppose that’s the consequence of hard living, but Amos never looked that way. Micah barely spoke to you. Which you often preferred. When Micah did speak to you, it was to explain how much he hated that his father had a bastard. How he hated having some little girl following him around. Some bastard sister that folks would confuse for being his bastard daughter.  He hated you, but he never beat you. Not like your father did. It wasn’t long after your father took you that he started to give you, “discipline.”
Amos was the gentler of your half-brothers. Alone with you, he would be kind. With the other two, he kept silent no matter what he saw. Together you would talk in hushed whispers of a simpler life. One of kindness and quiet in the far-off west. Amos had been father’s beast to blame until you showed up. If he didn’t seem terribly guilty about it, it was because he was relieved. He left in the middle of the night after an argument with father turned bad. Micah seemed all too delighted to share that Amos didn’t even look back as he ran off.
Not long after Amos left, father died of a broken neck. His horse had bucked him off his back as he and Micah were riding back to camp. That was the story Micah told you, anyway.
Since then, it had just been the two of you.
Micah is fond of reminding you that he could have just left you to die at that tiny camp father had set up. You didn’t have a horse, or a clue. And it wasn’t uncommon for them to be honest for days, leaving you to hold up camp on your own. Who knows how long you would have just sat there, waiting? When you ask him why he came to get you, he just says that you “have your uses.” He wasn’t wrong about that either. You can cook, clean, sew clothing just fine, and you’re loyal.
Years would pass by like a prisoner’s dirty nail on a cell wall. Slow, purposeful, without a clear end or goal. You grew from girl to woman but never felt all that different inside. Hair in two braids and clothes mended thrice with patches of other garments because Micah never lets you go into town to shop. Still trembling when Micah would raise his voice or fist, even though he had never struck you before. He leaves you at camp with a loaded rifle each day and expects a long list of chores to be finished before he returns. Although you always complete your tasks perfectly, he never seems grateful or impressed.
At camp, he likes to have a few drinks by the fire and tell you stories. Tales of the past, ranging from mere hours ago to decades. Micah talks and talks, you just listen. You really don’t say much at all. He says that it’s something he likes about you, "If you weren't so ugly, I could make some coin in marrying' you off. Quiet women are a rare find in these modern days."
Micah doesn’t sleep well most nights. You often saw him sitting by the fire wide awake, staring off into nothing. Sometimes, you try to sit up with him.
As nasty as he could be, you relied on him. You could shoot a gun, but you weren’t a cutthroat criminal by any stretch of the imagination. Micah was your defender, the breadwinner, and the Knower Of All Important Things. Between the two of you, he could read the best, so he would buy a newspaper and read it aloud to you if he was in a good mood. Aside from that, Micah didn’t really act much like a brother. He treated you like an indentured servant. Had you a kinder life before meeting him, that might’ve hurt you. Instead, it was all normal to you.
In 1897, Micah took two bullets in a robbery gone bad. He had one bullet in his shoulder and another in his left thigh. Micah was able to ride back to camo before he passed out. Your brother fell from his horse a bloodied mess, babbling incoherently about bankers with pistols and that he couldn’t think straight. Without another thought, you went to his side and worked to stop the bleeding. When morning came, Micah awoke to you sitting at the side of his cot. You gave him a small smile and before you could ask him how he felt he demanded to know, “Why’re you still here? I figured you woulda hopped on Baylock and been halfway to California by now.”
You replied, “I can’t leave my brother.”
He let out a scoff that made him flinch, healing shoulder wound and all, “Ain’t there another one further west?”
“I stayed cus’ you’re the brother who didn’t leave me, Micah,” his mouth slammed shut at your words. For the first time in all the years you traveled with him, you had rendered your brother speechless. “We only got each other, don’t we?” you reached out to take his hand. He let you, for a moment. That perplexed look in his pale grey-blue eyes looked almost childlike. Vulnerable. It lasted about as long as your hand holding his.
Micah snatched his hand back and sneered at you, “How ‘bout you get to fixing your good brother something to eat ‘stead of holding my goddamn hand? I’m starving!”
He was quiet for a few days after that. Angry. Things felt a bit different between you two. Micah went back to being a bully and a taskmaster, but he didn’t scare you as much anymore. You had seen behind the curtain and inside of his soul. In that brief moment where his eyes had gotten big and his heart slipped to his sleeve, you saw why he really came to get you after father died.
Micah was afraid of being alone and afraid of needing somebody all at once. What a sad way to live, you thought.
Things were mostly back to normal until about a year later. The night that Micah saved a man’s life. Something you aren’t sure he’s ever done before. And from this uncharacteristic act of kindness, you and your half-brother would enter the Van Der Linde Gang.

the comparisons you can make between arthur and micah to me are very interesting, because, while arthur and micah can not be more different to one another, they both have very similar upbringings.
being an outlaw is all the two of them have ever known, arthur's mother died when he was a baby and he was raised by his outlaw father, a man that from the little we get about him, we can infer was a cruel bastard, not just to civilians, but to arthur also, as we get a piece of dialogue that tells us that arthur isn't sad about his father's death, he's only upset at the fact that it wasn't soon enough (during the famous "i'm afraid" monologue), which implies that the relationship between the two was at the very least, rocky or just downright abusive and that arthur is glad that his father is dead.
after his father has been hung, he's been left on his own for a while, pickpocketing simply to survive, travelling from town to town when he inevitably gets caught and is then picked up by dutch and (a reluctant) hosea.
with micah, however, we get no mention of his mother, whether this is because she died when micah was born, or she isn't important to micah's story, who knows. but what we do know is that he too, like arthur, was an outlaw with his father, except the two seem to have had a very different dynamic to arthur and lyle. the two had a "partner in crime" dynamic rather than an "abusive outlaw father raises son he doesn't love to be an outlaw" (likely out of, i don't know, love for his mother and it being one of her last wishes for him to take care of her son - it could also have been just "no son of mine is going to be a sissy" since i believe neither dutch nor hosea taught arthur how to draw and he just has a natural talent for it) dynamic. micah and his father worked hand in hand with one another, which ultimately led to the homicide of roscoe and jean brings.
we don't exactly get an exact timeline of micah's upbringing (we don't get one for arthur either) but i can assume that the reason micah's father isn't around anymore is that after the homicide, he ended up being caught and hung - which led to micah and amos (micah's brother) being outlaws together out of loyalty for their deceased father until amos ended up repenting, marrying a woman, having three daughters and promising to murder micah if he ever steps foot into california.
micah continues being an outlaw, creating his own (1st attempt) gang with cleet, joe and likely a man named norman, attempting a bank robbery and ultimately failing. maybe he ventures off on his own, falling out with the three men, blaming each other for the failed back robbery, who knows.
it's kind of, insane, thinking about it. the two have been outlaws since they were young but even then the two of them were very different outlaws - arthur had likely kept to petty thievery, while micah had graduated to homicide with his father as a young man, arthur and lyle had a relationship where lyle often mistreated arthur, while micah bell III and micah bell II were almost equals in a way, despite being father and son. it's interesting to see how their upbringing shaped them as men, where micah thrives on cruelty and arthur, while good at it, seems to prefer less violent methods but will resort to violence when he deems it necessary.

Mistake III: Micah Bell X Male Reader
Tumblr media
Pronouns: None Mentioned, Reader referred to as ‘fella’ and ‘boy’ Physical Sex: AMAB Rating: E/Smut, language, violence Warnings: Micah Bell is his own warning, drinking, anal sex, rough sex, multiple orgasms, flashbacks, hair pulling, no mention of Reader drinking, top Reader and bottom Micah, denial of feelings, arguments, threats to life, robbery, murder Summary: You leave camp to clear your head but nothing seems to work.
You turn your attention back to your horse and mount up. You can’t just leave camp, it isn’t enough, you need to shoot or rob something. Your horse shakes their head as if to tell you you’re being as stupid as you feel but you give them a pat and carry on towards the tangled roads of West Elizabeth.
Micah pulls away just enough to speak between kisses. “Hotel ain’t far, cowpoke.”
“You want me to fuck you or something, Bell?”
He groans as your leg rubs against his straining dick. “God yes.”
You smirk as you give him a long kiss, unbroken by conversation. He moans into it and tries to feel your leg against him again.
You have the urge to hit your head against the tree you’re stopped next to. Micah felt so good, he tasted like whiskey and tobacco the way most men do but it only made you want him more. Damn you’re such an idiot. Micah fucking Bell. You could’ve fucked anyone and you managed to pick up him. There were plenty of men in the godforsaken saloon that probably would’ve accepted a proposition and you fell into an alley and bed with the camp snake. If a stagecoach with a lot of money doesn’t come along soon you’re going to go crazy.
“Keep saying my name and I might actually fuck you.” You whisper as he catches his breath.
“I ain’t gotta do a damn thing, cowboy.” He chuckles. “Ya wanna fuck me and yer gonna, don’t matter what I do.”
You pull your fingers out of him and he has to grit his teeth not to whimper. His hips move, trying to chase the filling sensation, but you push him back down and occupy him with sucking marks into his neck.
“You’re too sure of yourself, Bell.” You mutter against his skin. “I could leave you like this and let my hand do everything you can.”
“Fuck you, cowboy. Ya want me.”
The annoying image of Micah in a state of bliss nearly causes you to miss the approaching coach. It’s a regular passenger coach, but it’s fancy enough to likely have passengers with money. You pull your bandana over your nose and draw your gun, riding onto the road. It doesn’t take a single word for the coach driver to stop and put his hands up, probably not his first time getting robbed.
“Come on out, folks!” You call.
A man comes out, hands cautiously raised in the air. Then a young girl, no older than ten. Nice family, still robbable. You throw a bag down to their feet.
“Everything you got in the bag.” You order, gun aimed at the man. “Don’t make me shoot the kid.”
You’re not really gonna shoot the kid, not that anyone needs to know that. Threats go a long way. The man scurries, taking everything of value off of his person and the girl. There’s a watch, a ring, a necklace, a billfold, earrings, enough to justify your trip out of camp but not enough to make you feel better. The man timidly holds the bag up and you gesture for him to bring it over. He hands it to you without trouble.
“Thanks for your cooperation, folks.” You give the driver a nod, deciding to let him keep whatever he has. “Enjoy your trip.”
You move around the coach slowly, watching for any sign of trouble as it takes off down the road. Somewhat to your disappointment, nothing comes.
You keep a rough pace as you grip at Micah’s hips, only stalling when you hit your peak and go soft for a moment. It nevers lasts long, not with the way Micah looks and the view you have of your dick filling him up. Micah doesn’t last as long as you do. He’s cum much more than you have, yet the primary slick aiding your thrusts is now your own seed. He’s enjoying the endless and presently ruthless fucking based on the noises he makes. Only once has he had to touch himself to get off. At this rate you’re getting tired but you really don’t want to stop.
You wander around for a few more hours and you end up shooting a fella in an attempt to feel something. He seemed like an ass so you don’t feel too bad about it when you loot his corpse.
Your name being called as you stand makes you sigh because you recognize the voice.
“What, Bell?”
“Havin’ trouble there, cowboy?” Micah chuckles as you try to get yourself hard again.
“I’ve been fucking you for hours, Micah.” You groan as he grinds back into you. “You could always help.”
Micah leans forward, making you slide out of him, and sit up to kiss you. His hand finds its way to your dick and strokes it slowly, fingers playing with your balls when he slides down the base.
“Just one more, cowpoke.” He mutters. “Ya can fuck me one more time can’t ya?”
You smile against his lips. “I could fuck you much more than that, just give me a little time in between.”
“Ya that smitten with me?”
You groan as his thumb brushes over your now hard tip. “You’re a good fuck, Micah, don’t get cocky.”
He slides off on Baylock and gets in your face like did back at camp. “Come on, cowpoke.”
You shove him back, his tone annoying you more than the memories. “Forget it happened.”
“I ain’t forgettin’ nothing.” He groans. “Ya don’t get ta fuck me an’-an’ get all sweet, ‘specting me ta drop it.”
“I lied.” You lie. “I’m not sweet on you. How could I be?”
He hides his face with his hat, but the fuming anger is clear in the air. “Horse shit.”
You force the words out and they nearly burn your throat. “It was just fucking, Micah. Get over yourself.”
“We gonna be sweethearts then, cowpoke.” He chuckles. “Gettin’ all sentimental an’ fuckin’ every night?”
“Bet you’d like that.” You mock, fingers playing with his hair.
He hums. “Maybe I would.”
“My, my, Micah Bell is turning soft.”
“I ain’t turnin’ soft.” He grumbles, pausing for a moment as his hand runs over your chest. “Just like ya.”
“Maybe I should get you a ring, seal the deal.”
“Shut up.” He mutters as his face turns red.
You smile, laughing lightly. “Alright, alright. I do like you, Micah. We can figure out how soft you are later.”
He looks up from the ground, anger covering his face. “Ya think I was too drunk ta remember, that it, cowpoke?”
“I. Lied.”
“Ya ain’t that cruel.” He steps forward. “Yer a bastard, but ya ain’t cruel.”
“And you are.” You huff. “I’m not gonna be with someone like you. Especially not you.”
“But you’ll fuck me?” He laughs in disbelief. “Suppose ya fucked Morgan too? An’ Bill? Javier? Bet ya made real quick work a’ the whole damn gang if yer enough a’ a whore ta play like ya did.”
“Fuck off, Micah.”
“Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how ya got inta this, bet ya fucked Dutch and he kept ya around like the bitch you are.”
You turn, pressing your knife to his throat. He puts his hands up and curls his lip in a grimace.
“Stop talking.”
“I got yer attention, cowpoke?” He asks flatly. “Understand how much it stings yet?”
You drop your hand, putting your knife back in its place. “Why do you do that?”
“What?” He sneers.
“Fuck with people’s heads when you know they’ll fuck with you.”
“I like the attention.” He mocks. “Maybe I wouldn’t have ta if I had a fella ta fuck every once an’ a while.”
“Then look somewhere else.” You hiss. “I’ve never done it but I hear Charles swings this way, bet you got off on him throwing you around.”
“I want you, asshole.” He snaps. “Quit playin’ like we ain’t sweet. Like we didn’t have some girly moment last night.”
“I hate you.”
“Maybe. But you’re still sweet on me.” He argues. “Sweeter than ya should be, sweeter than any man has been.”
The twinge in your heart gets to you when you see his face. It’s not quite cold. It’s defensive, but a clear mask to hide how desperate he is.
“Fuck, Micah.” You groan. “You couldn’t just let this go?”
“Ya got no idea how long I wanted ya, not just fuckin’, I… I ain’t sissy enough ta say it but I want it.”
You can’t help yourself despite your better judgment, you pull him close and hug him. “You fuck up, I drop you.”
He holds you tight enough to hinder your breathing slightly, his nose cold against your neck. “I’m in love with ya.”
“Of course you are.” You mutter, too conflicted about his behavior to let your feelings take over completely. “We, uh, we have a lot to talk about, I suppose.”

•pairing: Arthur Morgan x Fem!reader (reader is described as a woman)•
Summary: scattering further from the west with the infamous van der linde gang had its moments, moments of loss and mourning.. and moments of contentment and joyousness with the only family you’d ever known, being brought up by the two conmen: Dutch Van Der Linde and Hosea Matthews. Growing up with not-so-little John Marston and a brooding Arthur Morgan, whom your relationship with had blossomed over the years into something much more intimate. Only problem is that the new world was becoming harder and harder to ignore, outlaws like yourselves weren’t so welcome by folks no more, and as they say, ‘maybe sometimes people did not actually change, maybe you just never knew who they really were.’

For now I’m gonna be starting this new story as I’ve had time to sit and think and take notes about it! ❤️
for some reason the links don't work for the first 3 chapters, if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know! ive also uploaded this story on wattpad (also under 'LIKE A WESTERN') so go and check it out there, i will make sure to upload all the chapters i write on here onto there! x

In RDR2 there is this news article about Micah Bell committing murder at seventeen together with his father. In short, they work as ranch hands and kill the couple owning the ranch, hanging them from the rafters with their throats slit. There are few details, but Micah kept the article, so it was special to him
I like "Failed attempt to live honorably", as this would make an interesting fic premise, but I’d love to see (and read) what other people think!
Edit: Big thank you to everyone who voted! :) Was very interesting!

This account writes fiction intended to be a lore accurate portrayal of Micah Bell from Red Dead Redemption 2. Read below the cut before interacting.

Micah Bell III
Micah Bell—one of the central antagonists in Red Dead Redemption 2—is the epitome of malevolence and treachery. His innate selfishness drives him to prioritize his own interests above all else, often at the cost of those around him. Opportunistic to the core, Micah doesn't hesitate to seize moments of weakness in others to advance his own gains. Beneath his surface charm lies a deep-rooted sadism, which makes him relish in the suffering and pain of others. His unpredictability and ruthlessness, coupled with his penchant for manipulation, make him a formidable and dangerous force. He is unhinged, lecherous, and violent. Not fit to integrate into society.
I am an over 18 male and I’ll write with anyone who is 18+ and understands what to expect from Micah Bell. If your character is an “I can change him” female, please understand what you’re getting into. I prefer to write with people who are familiar with the game already.
A lot of people hate Micah Bell. Feel free to do that. If you wish to write with me and you’re concerned about the nature of the interaction, or want sensitive subjects avoided for you, I will 100% accommodate you.
Content warning:
Violence/gore
Erotic Roleplay
Misogyny
Sadism
General mature, intense and offensive writing.

Okay, so, this thought won't leave me alone, so I have decided to finally post it. Fair warning, the post is super long.
It's about Micah Bell from Red Dead Redemption 2.
I'm not new to the Red Dead Fandom. I've been playing the game solidly for nigh on 3 years now, and I adore it. I've played so much red dead that I can turn my map off and find my way around the world. I memorized where most of the hidden loot stashes, dinosaur bones, and rock carvings are. I hardly have to look at the treasure maps to know where my next destination is going to be.
My first playthrough, Micah was my least favorite character. I hated his guts. I had an excellent time during the epilogue and took too many screenshots of me posing next to his dead body.
My second playthrough, because I knew what was going to happen, I harassed him, watched him, and tried to see if there's any way you can change the outcome. On story missions together, I'd chuck dynamite at him.
And suddenly overnight he became my favorite character. I think it's because I love to root for a charismatic villain. I think it's because I was finally noticing little details about him and thinking, oh, that's neat. The creators put a lot of thought into this game. It kind of clicked in Guarma when Micah actually protected the camp instead of laying about doing nothing like he usually does.
So I went looking for content to see if there were other Micah enjoyers out there. I was not surprised to find there were! What I was surprised about was how controversial liking his character made someone.
I've been on tumblr for over a decade (not with an account, I lurked that whole time) and everyone who's been here that long knows two things.
You police yourself. You look at tags that interest you, you block tags you dislike (I'm a little sex repulsed, so I don't like looking at explicit art. Not that the artists aren't talented or that people can't enjoy it! But it's not my cup of tea so I tend to avoid that), and you generally stay in your area of interest.
Fandom and reality stay separate to an extent. Can you have merch of your favorite fandom? Pins and socks and jacket patches? For sure! Can you go to conventions and cosplay as your favorite character? Absolutely, you look fantastic! Can you go harass an actor because you don't like their character? No way! Doing that makes you a shitty person. (Jack Gleeson/Joffrey Baratheon comes to mind)
So I was surprised that so many people decided that liking Micah meant the person was racist or idolized his behavior, which is not what normal, healthy people think.
I am aware that Micah is the villain. I am aware that he is a problematic fave and is a racist, sexist, homophobic piece of shit. That's not why I like him. Racism, sexism, and homophobia in real life are bad. I would never like a person in real life who was like Micah. But I am fully aware that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a fictional world and Micah Bell III is a fictional character, and I am not going to now idolize racist, sexist, homophobic assholes because I saw it in a video game. That's like saying that playing video games makes you violent in real life, which is an issue that a lot of boomers had when video games became popular, saying it was going to make kids violent.
The reason I like Micah is because the game is about redemption, and I like to explore how Micah could possibly be redeemed. Honestly, he reminds me of a kid fresh out of high school who's still saying the same stuff his parents taught him, and who hasn't yet been to University to see that the world is not black and white and that people of color actually exist and are people, instead of racist caricatures explained by his parents because he grew up in a town without any diversity.
I wonder what could have happened if Micah had grown up in the Van Der Linde gang (he's only 3 years older than Arthur. Hosea and Dutch could have adopted him). Or if the gang didn't fall apart and they actually got to start a new life somewhere with the Blackwater money.
I think it's okay to explore that. What if he realized his racism and sexism and homophobia were bad? What if he wasn't so socially awkward and abrasive and actually got to know and like people? What if he took steps to try and make amends for his past behavior and became a better person? In a game about redemption, I don't think it's so far-fetched to want to imagine that.
In conclusion, block the things you don't want to see, and as long as you're able to separate fiction from reality, like whichever characters tickle your fancy.
