I think one of the biggest evidences of Byler for me is the SnowBall Dance

In the script, it says that ''Will's eyes are on Mike'' but the thing is... that didn't happen on the show. Because it didn't happen, the directors made the choice of portraying Will/Mike dynamic in a different way. They chose Mike to look sad after Will went to dance with that girl, and then brooding about it. It also directly paralleled to Dustin looking sad over Lumax dancing.

It adds to my evidence that the Melvin kiss wasn't even scripted but added because Millie asked. I think one of the reasons why they changed Will pining over Mike to Mike pining over Will was because of the Melvin kiss.

I sometimes wonder how many times Finn was purposedly informed by the directors to act a certain way with El and Will. Like, Mike not wanting El to touch him while they're kissing probably wasn't scripted either, but it's not like Finn himself would make the kiss scene weird. So, the directors/writers purposefully wanted it to happen just like that awkward Melbin kiss scene in S3.

Like, there are more. There's also Mike's certain behavior towards Will, how he looks at him and acts around him. We talk about ''lip glances, Mike looking whipped for Will and ''the Will voice'' but like none of those things would make sense if Finn just decided to make Mike 'gay' without the directors/writers realizing it.

Finn isn't a bad actor who decides to tank his romance dynamic with Melvin, he didn't become a bad actor suddenly out of nowhere as some people claim. So... what's the reason, Melvins?

Yeah, I think the SnowBall scene is one of the most interesting scenes we get in the context of Byler, because on the surface, it could be easy enough to brush it off as Mike just looking disappointed because El isn't there and he's alone while Lucas and Will are dancing, but we explicitly see him looking dejected at Will dancing with the girl, and not over Max and Lucas, which seems curious, but even then, I'd still be able to write this off as looking too much into it, up until now.

The fact that we get Will pushing Mike into the confession when the audience fully knows how Will feels about Mike completely re-textualizes the entire SnowBall scene, because they mimic each other's behaviors, and we get both shots of Mike looking disappointed looking at Will dancing with a girl and Will looking heartbroken while Mike tells El he loves her. These scenes are very much in conversation with one another now.

I definitely think Finn gets a lot of direction about how to play his character that isn't necessarily written into the script, because we know how much this show pays attention to detail and how certain dialogue and imagery gets called back or is used to foreshadow certain events in the show. I don't think they would have just said, "okay Finn, do whatever you want," when we know how much imagery and symbolism plays into the story they're trying to tell. If Finn wasn't selling the chemistry this season in the scenes between Mike and El, maybe it has more to do with the story than his acting...

Americans who try to pronounce Melbourne correctly are still doing it wrong, yeah we say Melbin(or Melbun), but Americans should say Melburn, not Melborn or Melbin, just Melburn, with the burn part being fast.

Do you ever wonder what image people have of you in your head? Well I have a story for you, Im Australian and not from Melbourne but was in Melbourne this year when f1 was on (had no idea it was on and the whole hotel situation became a mess) but I was crying at the Crown Hotel about it and eating sushi and made eye contact with Daniel and i swear to god if thats my legacy in his mind ill kill myself. Truly. Just "yeh the sad girl crying over sushi in a thousand dollar a night hotel in Melbin"
