Why are these characters in the prelims?

It's genuinely up for debate whether these are the same man or not. In my personal opinion, they are reflections of each other and this is backed up with the FNaF movie taking elements of both the games (where Michael Afton is the protagonist) and the books (where Michael Afton arguably doesn't exist). I will be upfront and say I would like to have both in the actual polls if possible. However, it didn't sit right with me to run these two in the same poll without having a second pass for this.

My transmasc friend (with abundant amounts of tboy swag) was trying to figure out what charmed him about Michael in the fnaf movie until he finally had a lightbulb moment and yelled “OH HES A TRANS BOY. HE JUST. HE JUST LOOKS LIKE A TBOY”. I trust his judgement. Takes one to know one. Also just looking at how Mike dressed in the movie I just know he had several disphoria hoodies ready to go. His power is being sad and trying his best to be a good older brother. Give him a medal.

Michael Afton Propaganda-

Pollrunner: His entire life and arguably most defining touch on the whole series is cast in the shadow of his father. The actor who voiced him in the like seven lines he has in the games intentionally chose to make Michael's voice quieter and softer and lacking William Afton's signature hard rasp. It's implied and a personal headcanon that the character Old Man Consequences, one of the kindest and most straightforward characters in FNaF and the few who cannot and does not actually kill the player, is actually Michael. Canonically according to the logbooks he's a wonderful artist, a complete snarky bitch when he's nervous and he stims. He has just enough characterization to have concrete facts about but is largely a mystery to us and I think that's pretty swaggy.

Here are my thoughts on Aerobic Al 🎉

First off he definitely gives off that pansexual vibe. He’s definitely a pansexual!!!

Aerobic Al is so cute and people don’t acknowledge that. I swear he’s the sweetest and most encouraging boy you could ever meet.

He’s kinda dumb sometimes but I’m a silly way were whenever he is being dumb it’s actually funny and cute at the same time.

In a few scenes in the background I spotted Al stimming with his finger’s it’s so random he might be on the spectrum who knows.

Aerobic Al has one of the most cutest British accents I’ve ever heard and the way his accent sounds causes him to mispronounce words and it’s so silly I love it. He had a brummie accent according to the wiki fandom.

His dad is short but aerobic Al is almost as tall as his dad and he’s actually the tallest student in his class which is really cool I think. Also his dad being short is super funny and silly. 

Also we never get to see Al’s mom in the series but I’m guessing she’s the blonde one since Al’s dad has brown hair and Al has blonde hair which I’m so curious about Al’s mom and we know she exists because when rude Ralph was singing born to be rude he sings a verse that goes “I spot my friend Al with his mom and dad” which conforms Al has a mom.

I can’t get over his personality it’s so amazing I wish more guys would be like him to be honest. Aerobic Al is so sweet and encouraging he never gives up and he always there for his friends. He’s honestly so adorable and loving. I’ve seen some fanart of him and he definitely would be the guy to be clingy,cuddly and lovey dovey if he were to date someone.

I love how aerobic he is. He’s always taking good care of himself and getting tons of exercise he never stops moving around during the day. And he eats very healthy he hardly ever eats sugary candys so good for him he deserves a medal 🥇.

Nix’s Beta Designs

Shirtless Nix. 👀 I love the little sweater neck on his mouth and his right hand being entirely covered by his sleeve. But what would the R.N. stand for, Richard Nixon? While not a fan of the design I love the expression of 2. The fact that 4 has a particularly pointy chin freaks me out.

Young Phoenixes! The last panel is just funny to me lmao. In the second panel Nix looks like Garou and him with the lollipop in the first panel reminds me of Child Emperor.

I'm not a big fan of Beanix but I love me some stubble. Not a fan of the nose on 3 and I feel 2 and 3 are too well dressed considering his situation. 1 is more realistic and that expression portrays his solemnness and desperation well. Plus that parka is invoking memories in me...

I hate that Maya was ever doodled as a school girl. I love the design on the lower bottom of the right page, the one with the little handkerchief and box ( reminded of Demon Slayer). I think I still prefer the canon one though. The pigtails and suit design is cute but is definitely not her.

I love the short-hair- in-the-back-long-hair-strands-in-the-front style. Having even more balls to be hanging, like medals almost, especially as time goes on, would be cool. The doodle where Maya is crying invokes unnamed, unpleasant feelings in me.

i decided to copy @pope-neuro 's idea, and im making a list of what id get the mercs for smissmas

i'd get scout a set of paint markers. im sure he would love graffiti, and i can see him using them to paint over his own stuff to give them a personal touch.

for pyro, i'd get it a unicorn onesie! im sure it would love to have something like that as a pajama. pyro would go around the base stimming flapping its arms. autism win. it's soft and cozy just like it!

soldier is a tricky one but i think he would something commemorative, so i would make him a personalized medal. "to the best soldier and team player". im sure he would give the team something similar to make sure everyone knows they are valued and appreciated. receiving a medal is the greatest honor he knows. he may tear up a little.

demoman is another complicated one, but i thing he would love to get a book about mythology. he would read an memorize the pages with a certain brightness in his eye. this man is a great storyteller and he would love to get new material

i would give heavy the coziest of blankets. this is actually because in reality, i am an incredibly selfish person and id do this to have an excuse to snuggle with him. please valve make heavy tf2 real.

but in all honesty, he would love a blanket that allows him to read on cold winter nights.

engineer is getting a clay cooking pot set. i want to give this man the tools to become the greatest "big family dinner" cook of all time. the kind of person who prepares to cook thanksgiving and winter holidays for an entire month and ends up making the best shit you've ever tasted.

id give medic an egg incubator. he is the bestest bird papa ever and it would be really sad if anything bad happened to his bird children and future grandkids. i think he would also be fascinated by being able to see the little chicks growing up thanks to the light. he would take pictures of them all day whenever his pidges lay an egg

sniper is a quite reserved man, so getting him a meaningful present would be kind of difficult. i would get him a leather wallet, but inside i'd put a postcard from his parents with their picture, so he can take them always with him

i hc that spy is a spanish civil war refugee. he escaped as a child with his parents, but they died, leaving him to fence for himself in the streets of france. he still speaks spanish and catalan, but his past leaves him feeling like he lost a big part of his heritage. this is all to say that id gift him a knife from toledo, so he can feel closer to his roots

Applejack is doing her chores, but she woke up pretty early so she has no rush. After a while, it is now night. She is tired so she goes into the house and attempts to fall asleep. But she is then interrupted by Rainbowdash. "EEK! Guess guess guess what happened Applejack!!" (Rainbowdash stimming) Applejack turned around to see rainbowdash flapping her wings up and down with a huge smile. "W-..Why in the hay are ya screamin' so late at night?!" Rainbowdash lifts up a medal that's hanging from her chest. "I won a race in the event, AND I WON AGAINST THE WONDERBOLTS! Eek! Oh, and- I'm sorry for waking you up- if you were asleep." Rainbowdash kissed Applejack goodnight and walked out. Somehow, she was able to get in when the door was supposedly locked.

So my friend Gizmo and I came up with some ideas about Ludlow and his home country (and I'm sharing these with her permission): 1. It's a tiny country smack dab between Spain and France (yes I had Lichtenstein in mind at the time) 2. Ludlow spent the first five years of his life in Manchester with his mother before moving to Peruvia. That's why he has Davy's usual accent, but he slips into a more Spanish-French accent when stressed or pissed off 3. Ludlow lost both of his parents by the time he was 11. Myron spent the rest of the kid's childhood raising him to be weak so that Ludlow would be socially inept, easier to control, and eventually easier to usurp. Hence the plot of Prince and the Paupers 4. Ludlow stims. A lot. He tends to play with his medals when nervous. Would probably be socially awkward even without Myron's influence since we headcanon him as autistic.

oooooooh!!!! yes, yes all of this is incredible! I had always just thought of him as having severe anxiety, but i like that idea too! if ludlow was also on the spectrum, it would definitely add to the understanding he has with alexei!

A few little goods that came in the mail today :3

- the OOO pamphlet is the one from the final stage, it has a lot of nice reference shots of all the combo suits and stuff from the show in it. The Piece poster came as a bundle with it so I grabbed it since I like the movie anyways lol

- I do already have a Taka medal as part of the Tajador combo for my OOO driver, but this one came with the pamphlet bundle and its specifically one for me to carry around and sit and stim with and not worry about fucking up the paint or anything

Pacing is my stim too, but I never let myself out bc it's hard to do without people watching and judging. Any advice?

How I do it without judgment is A) I've gotten a pedometer and joined a "challenge league" called the Conqueror Challenge, which encourages people to walk more and get more exercise. You get medals for reaching walking milestones and it offers a reasonable excuse to pace. Also B) I stay up later than the rest of my family and I'm free to pace around the house when everyone's asleep. If I don't want to risk waking them up, I just walk the length of my room with the door closed.
