It's my birthday! Hubby surprised me with a figurine of my favorite villain and Greek genius, Mechanicles from Aladdin. It's super rare to track down, and I never thought I'd get a hold of one! He needs some paint touch ups some day. But, he's mine and I'm in love. 🥰

Mozenrath's expression can usually be described as 'dry.' His complexion is bloodless, and his upper lip stiff. Something shifts now, though, and the light catches in his eyes.

"I've never asked before," he says flatly. "Or at least... never given him the chance to refuse."

The break runs through him as if through ice. He's almost contented, if not truly so. "I've tried to enlist him by other means. I'm sure you can imagine. If I were to come cooperatively, and truly ask..."

A pause.

"I'd ruin my unique place in his little world. I might," Mozenrath admits, "but not anytime soon. It'd be a waste to call the winner too early."

It is similiar to the thought i posted last time, but imagine that they're incredibly sneaky:

You look up from your phone or smth. and suddenly there is a hungry, *giant* robot in your personal space. You have no idea how long they've been there or how they got there in the first place.

It's probably already too late for the prey when they notice the pred.

Maybe the prey doesn't notice at all before they find themself inside the mechanicle mouth of the robot

These scenarios could both be angst and comfort

What's your opinion on the evil version of Aladdin from the Episode "When Chaos Comes Calling"?

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about him or what I think about him myself. I guess it's important to mention that it happened that I saw the second season before the first, so after the episode where Jasmine thinks she's the Scourge of the Desert, the evil Aladdin didn't impress me at all. I kind of like his clothes, but those dark circles around his eyes and pale skin are nonsense. Oh yeah, and it's a bit frustrating that red and shades close to it correspond to the villains or anti-heroes in most cases (Mirage, evil Aladdin, Jafar, Mechanicles, and so on...)

To me, evil Aladdin is more of a mischief maker and brawler. I don't know, maybe that's the way it was intended... I thought that evil Aladdin would do things that good Aladdin wouldn't do, but throwing tomatoes at the nobles...I think the original Aladdin used to do that too, I'm sure even if not against the nobles, he could definitely humiliate Razul and other guards like that).

But I have to commend Chaos, the gist of the idea is interesting. So if I look at the evil Aladdin not as a character, but purely as an idea of Chaos, I like it!

So i'm makinng the new tyranids from Leviathan, and i'm planning to make them mechanical, already planning to replace the tyranid tentacles with mechanicle things, and make the portrusions and such more mechanical than biological.

Xerxes followed closely behind when the robot entered the throne room. Scrutinising it as it cleaned the dark tiled floor, and carpet that led up to his Master’s throne. Examining the difference between spotless and spotless with a close eye, not even sure if there was a difference in the first place.

While Mozenrath sighed, watching Xerxes tail the strange robot. His first thought was Mechanicles, but then again… even if he was obsessed enough to create robots to meticulously clean the world of every spec of dust, it’d be in the form of a robotic bug. And this was not that.

He wondered why the mad Greek even created bugs to clean, anyway. Unless it was supposed to be a subversion of the filth and disease they carry and spread. But either way, this… Roomba reminded him of his bugs; only this one being a cockroach.

Mozenrath settled his chin into his palm, narrowing his eyes at the robot. Waiting for it to mess up just one time.

Poke In Disguise

I know this is gonna be nowhere near the case for the story of Scarlet and Violet, (Scarlet especially) But i’m quite a big fan of Transformers and seeing as how Miraidon pretty much is one, I’m making a small AU/prediction (though I highley doubt it will be the case). 

So, Miraidon is the legendary right? So isn’t it weird how we are just able to ride around on it with no one questioning it? So what if they did question it? What if there is an Aither Foundation like organzation in these games that are trying to hunt down this legendary pokemon that is both machine and alive at the same time? 

So when you meet it, Miraidon has to be discreet because it might know that there are bad people after it. So when the player meets it, it may sense the players strength and decide to go with them. 

It uses it’s mechanicle appearence to it’s advanatge, masqurading as a motorcycle to keep it’s true identity secret (Where the Robots in Disguise part comes in) 

So along with your pokemon journey, the player also has to keep the Legendary safe and out of hands of the evil organization. 

This is more of a “keeping a kind alien safe and away from the government sort of deal,” but I thought it would be a neat story/theory of what could potentially be. 

(Again, this is highly unlikly, considering there is little to no way for the Robots in Disguise concept to work for Koraidon as well)

The favorite Street Rat of the palace was out in the Marketplace at this moment, talking to the residents and the shoppers. It was something that he did, mostly for Jasmine's sake. If he could talk to the people around the Marketplace and get their opinions about... well, anything and everything, they could talk to the Sultan and see what small changes could be made around the palace and around Agrabah itself in order to make things easier on the residents. And possibly on the Sultan himself. He was a benevolent ruler, that was for sure. And it was easy to tell that he had the people's best interests at heart when he talked about some of the laws in place today. Although it was also pretty obvious that sometimes the Sultan had a hard time thinking about how best to enact something for the welfare of the people, if Rasoul were anything to go by. The big man had a temper and a mean streak the size of Agrabah itself, though he certainly did also have a soft spot he liked to hide for some of the citizens. Aladdin was currently teasing the guard about having helped a young woman by using some of his coin to buy her a small snack. Rasoul and Aladdin had come to a better understanding of each other after Aladdin's betrothal to the Princess(though it wasn't always obvious), and so it was less of a chore for Aladdin to actually talk to the man.

"Alright! I'm off to go and see Jasmine now!" He called to Rasoul, who only gave a noncommittal grunt at him. Aladdin laughed some, then shook his head, grinning.

But it was as he was walking back towards the palace that the snaking feeling wormed its' way up his back, like something familiar and cloying that he had sensed only once in his lifetime.

Something deadly and powerful.

Watching.

Waiting.

Turning on his heel, he looked around, chocolate eyes finding nothing and heart hammering in his chest like death had just chased him into a corner.

That feeling.

It wasn't the same feeling he felt whenever Mozenrath had threatened his life. It wasn't the same as when he faced off against Mechanicles. And it DEFINITELY wasn't the same feeling he'd had when he'd been turned into a shark. Or even when he and Jasmine had turned into Naga.

No.

The only familiarity to this feeling was Jafar. But that was impossible. The old Vizier couldn't be back.
