We've now got confirmation from two different journalists of the changes Daniel and his engineers made to how they were approaching car setup, with today's article adding more specific info. Interesting to hear that Daniel was previously dialling in extra 'safety' understeer to combat instability in the high-speed, which is where he was losing out to Tsunoda the most, given his issues with understeer during the McL stint. But awesome to see Daniel and his engineers are able to so effectively problem solve and find solutions in a way that McL weren't. All in all, I think this info does also give some extra reassurance that this is genuine progress, whether or not it turns out the chassis was also playing a part in the early season struggles.

sooo I've played the demo of @fantasia-kitt's visual novel The Kid At The Back and let me tell you I LOOOVE Sol ! he's so adorable and I wish I had a boyfriend like him ! so I've been thinking about shipping him with my OC Mahanie, like usual, you know ?

My thoughts on Vere

I want to say that .....

Actually, Vere is not even my type...

I just give you a hint for understanding

As for game romance:

DA fandom

Zevran - Isabella - Iron Bull (yeah yeah joke about them being whores, but I like how they overcome difficulties, how they hide true feelings and Warden - Champion - Inquisitor try to read them,to talk things out, to form mental connection,

you have an option not to have sex with Zevran throughout the whole game and be lovers and get married;

you will patiently wait 3 years for Isabella to talk about feelings towards each other;

as for Bull... don't kill his screw...ahaha...awkward... learn to read him, just like he reads you and shower him with affection.

Vere may seem close to game romance but still there are lots of difference

All of them are not good educated (in arts, I mean, because Vere certainly does), mostly act friendly (Vere seems distant while three of other characters show true feelings), careless and charming, sex jokes, physical way of fight (Vere has some magic abilities, he steales MC's key with magic and has some shadows behind him in GG. But i am sure he uses weapon, like stilettos or his hands, hehe) , sarcastic, sudective (I mean clothes and lack of it, wink).

As for visual novels, Vere is just.... stands out, so to speak.

I guess his romance will go as Isabella's from DA2 or similar to it.

There will be a lot of refusal and denying of his feelings

Being torn apart between personal desires and MC's well being

Needs time and space to accept the thought of stable and healthy relationship, to change lifestyle

Sex and romantic relationship are different stuff ( when you feel love to someone, you can't have sex with that person. Yeah sounds funny, but when you romance Isabella or Zevran, there was a period of time when they caught feeling to mc and rejected all mc's offer to stay alone in a while. So Isabella and Zevran needed time to proceed that sex can be with a person who loves you and you love back)

As for Vere,

I just see 2 ways of romance

1. You both flirt with each other, but you always stop it when things go too far and spicy ("surrender" scene hello)

2. MC acts naive (naturally or on purpose) and does't react to his provocation

No matter what type of MC is there MC and Vere have to work together

Obviously, Mc has to reveal their curse. So I see their first interaction as something mutual.

Vere needs a person who has no connections to the city and Senobium, who can be useful to him (after all, mc's curseis damn dangerous and can be used against someone when no one expects that), who can be easily manipulated (Do you remember when he talks about MC's background like ..."Poor thing, I give your life a new meaning" and stuff like that).

As for Mc's side, he has an access to Senobium where he can look for info, he is experienced sharlatan having some shadow magic which MC has already seen, he is in desperate just like MC, he knows the city perfectly.

And their partnership will be business-like. Of course, Vere will tease and flirt with mc but he will keep his distance. He seems to me as someone whose trust is hard to gain but when you do... Omg.... hehe.... He won't change at all, except he will mess around more with you. He is that kind of a person who is normal outside (sassy and bitchy) but he melts inside every time when you do something cute, funny, ordinary things like cleaning or fixing your clothes.

In private he demands affection of yours in his way. Glaring at you expectingly, telling some nonsense/ words of double meaning to get attention. Then you look at him to see what's going on, you see him sitting seductively as usual , an innocent smile on his lips, but his eyes glow with promises of more...

Anyway...

He seems to me as very, very, very jealous person (he literally is jealous of Ais' pets imao even though they are just fwb). But he doesn't show it or he thinks so lol, you have to understand that by his spout face, his irritation and you should go w him somewhere privately (you have to trick him first because he won't go just like that, eg "oh i saw some slutty costume for you a fight between clerics of senobium and bloodhound, let's go) and give him small kisses all over his face. He definitely will tease you afterwards but during the process he is such a lovey dovey mess

He loves when you know what he wants... that's not what you may think ~~~~

I mean that guy can go to whorehouse, I am sure some important people of Senobium like to use him as a sex toy. Sex is casual stuff for him.

So when you give him a gift or cook his favorite dish, or just ask his opinion, he dies internally as he is overwhelmed w that affection you give him. Your treatment is so unnatural, unexplainable to him and yet so endearing and he craves for more...

But he won't ask it openly at early stages of relationship

Buuuut when you two are together for a long time he will be the one taking initiative, he won't ask your opinion he simply grabs your hand ans places it on his head and says "Between ears and try not to disturb my hair" or similar to it ehehe.

My list isn't over but I wanted to say something

I understand why Vere isn't so popular as babygirl of TS fandom:

1. his type is known in mass media ( slim, slippery, sarcastic, nasty dark magic wizard with some BIG ambitions). I can name some: Tomoe from anime Kami-sama Hajimemashita, sorcerers from WITCHER, mini boss from dlc PATHFINDER kingmaker. The list isn't ended but I am lazy to think about it.

2. he can kill mc ( it's so fun looking how ppl hate him for that. Vere, keep going!!!)

3. Has deep connection w Ais, some ppl don't want to ruin their relationship, others are jealous but afraid to admit

4. he is considered to be all about sex thing/flat and his boobs aren't big.

i think the biggest off-putter for me about rpf is that it's extremely not-canon-compliant. like, whenever i write fics, i always try to get all my info EXACTLY correct, with the only changes being extremely plot relevant/the catalyst for the story. but with rpf there is NO way anything of the sort happened, the dialogue wasn't said, because it's real history. idk it just sorta irks me!! but that's obvsly a very subjective thing and sometimes i REALLY wish it didnt bother me.

second thing is, unless the people involved in the rpf have given their express permission, shipping is weird (to me, at least). ik there's no stopping anyone (and banning people from doing it is only a slippery slope!! never do that!!), and that's not the point of this post. i just personally can't imagine looking like, p\ul mcc\rtney in the face if i ever read mcl\nnon fics. cause like he's a REAL GUY who's ALIVE. and why do i care about his romantic/sex life?? as someone coming from the d\mp fandom, ik a lot of people are uncomfortable being shipped (besides with their actual partners, altho sometimes even that). ofc, if the person is dead, i say totally go for it (so j\hn l\nnon/br\an epst\in would be fine, ik that's a thing).

i know ive been venturing into the b\\tles fandom a bit recently and reading some gen fics, and this sounds like im walking into a party and then saying parties suck. this isn't meant to be a callout post or anything, im just emptying my thoughts out on here! if mutuals wanna give thoughts id love to hear them <3

New Gen is much cheaper than old MCL

I've finally played the first episode and I'm very relieved to see that prices have been decreased quite a bit, and doing some math New Gen ends up being way cheaper than old MCL. A lot cheaper.

In old MCL we received 600 free APs every month, and each episode used to cost around 1000 APs (University Life and Love Life). Here, we receive 1,780 free APs every month. The first episode ended up costing me around 1,150 APs. Even if the following episodes are slightly more expensive, we will be able to easily play each episode for free by logging in every day.

Additionally, they really listened to the beta feedback. The AP cost has been decreased of around 50 APs for each choice. Neutral choices used to cost 40APs -> now they cost 2APs like every normal line of dialogue. Medium choices used to cost between 80 and 120 APs depending on Ysaline's personality -> now they cost ~50 APs Critical choices used to cost 150-170 depending on personality -> now they cost ~100 APs Archibald's choice used to be a critical choice and it's now a medium choice.

They also increased the number of currency we receive by logging in every day. During the beta the listing price reported that we would get 1290 AP for free and 300 additional APs with the VIP pass every month. Now we get 1,780 AP for free and 700 additional APs through the VIP subscription. (And I haven't calculated the other currencies yet but they also seem to have been increased.)

tldr: New Gen is much cheaper than old MCL and the basic game can be easily played for free.

Finally got info on my knee!!

I have a grade 2 MCL injury, which is a moderate tear AND potential fraying/tear on my patella which I KNEW had someone thing wrong with it cause I am obviously missing part of where it should be!!

I am fucking relieved to FINALLY have some answers (cause I had the MRI place mail the results) I am still waiting on my Dr to join my telehealth zoom call. But I am thinking I am going to have surgery cause when you look this stuff up it says "if conservative therapy does not help surgery may be needed" and I have been doing my own PT for 3 months now!!

Any that is the update:) will let you all know what the Dr says:)

Injured Knee Ligaments and Physical Therapy

Knee ligaments are usually torn by severe forces caused by extreme and rapid bending of the knee. Since ligaments are strong bands of soft tissue that attach one bone to another, tearing a major ligament is usually very painful and elicits a “popping” sensation. Occasionally, the ACL can just degrade gradually over time, perhaps occurring with several small accidents or injuries. People with a deficient ACL feel tremendous instability with squatting, lunging, jumping, and quick change of direction exercises. ACL tears are more common in high contact sports such as football and rugby, in which awkward hits and movements occur. Sports demanding a constant directional change such as basketball and soccer also have a higher than normal occurrence rate for ACL tears.

The knee has 4 major ligaments. They give the joint stability and strength. The 4 knee ligaments connect the thighbone (femur) to the shin bone (tibia).

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). This ligament is in the center of the knee. It controls rotation and forward movement of the shin bone.

Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). This ligament is in the back of the knee. It controls backward movement of the shin bone.

Medial collateral ligament (MCL). This ligament gives stability to the inner knee.

Lateral collateral ligament (LCL). This ligament gives stability to the outer knee.
