So, played the 1st two episodes of MCL New Gen and shockingly I really liked it, ha! I really didn't want at first to give it a try but I was curious and sigh* oh well here we are.

The characters are very well defined and the ART STYLE is so nice, kind of slow sometimes but with all the animations I do not mind.

So far I am interested in Thomas and Jason. I managed to get Thomas's illustrations from 1st play but I cannot seem to be able to get Jason's in the 2nd episode and I tried two times. I will not try again. It is what is.

But here are the Thomas ones.

Again the art style is gorgeous. Lol, thanks BEEMOV.

Some of my favorite Nathaniel moments, a compilation;

I’m incredibly emo about this gen of MCL coming to an end.

So here’s some of my personal favorite moments from Nath’s route in UL and LL (I have admittedly yet to play him in HSL, sue me I was a Castiel girl until bad boy Nath in UL came on the scene.  I have a thing for snarky blondes...)

“A myth crumbles” the HOOT I let out when I read that.  Hilarity.  Amazing.  10/10.

Even Nath has his downsides LMAO.  Poor Angel, she just wanted to enjoy NCIS or something

Aaaaand miscreant Nath has entered the scene.

Angel being absolutely thrown by this scenario took me out.  Amazing.  10/10

This dynamic also made me lose my shit.  Like poor Nath, he’s so emotionally stunted here and has no idea how to express his feelings, meanwhile Angel is just like “tough shit my guy” - too pissed off to even care.

Again, I actually really liked that in UL you could really talk back to your love interest without immediate caution about LoM dropping.  This to me feels realistic and helped with immersion into the story.  I, too, was sick of his excuses!

Also, Angel breaking out the full name - Yeeeesh Nath you done goofed!

THIS ENTIRE SEQUENCE BROKE ME EMOTIONALLY.

Like I am not one to cry at games most often, but this one, wheeew this one had me bawling.

Specifically when she screams when he hugs her, like she’s believed he’s not even there and his touch proves his existence.

WHEN I TELL YOU, I SOBBED WITH HER.  LIKE ME TOO GIRL.

This one just made me laugh so hard.

And finally, the one that REALLY broke me, after Angel throws the bouquet.

As if she’s throwing it to us, those who have followed along on her journey.

Genuinely makes me smile but teary lol Feel free to share your favorite moments below!

MCL NEW GEN EP 3 SPOILERS

alright, the third episode of New Gen is now out for everyone and, as promised, I just played Thomas' route on my non VIP account !

first I'd like to say his little fact about bus is quite nice, it shows that he is well knowledgeable, and it's nice to know something like that, so I appreciate it ! also the time when we talk about shopping when hungry makes me think of my mom, you know she was hungry when shopping and cooking when you see the amount of food in your plate, so yeah, I can personally confirm that, lol !

now the whole park thing in his route is my favorite part of the episode so far ! first Thomas arriving in his biker outfit I'm-

AND he's suggesting to ride on his bike with him on another occasion ??? what a gentleman ! yes Thomas, I'd love to ride with you !😊also I loved when he was talking about the brookies he brought (didn't even know about that but it does sound delicious !) and the fact he ate them as main meals for almost a week the first time he ate them is both funny and cute ! and for that reason he only brought one per person which makes it even funnier !

as for the extra scene ? by the gods I LOVED IT !! it was sooooo cute ! him talking about how driving his motorbike was already nice but then he shifted his attention on Candy making a flower crown and while I did see his illus I did NOT expect him to be this interested but after thinking about it made sense, since he's into crochet, I also loved the whole lore about flower crowns, Thomas saying that fairies didn't exist at first but still got interested into making one, his reaction of having the one Candy made on his head and then saying that he would tell us if he were to be invited in a dance by a fairy ??? I love the fact that even tho he is the rational type he still gets in the mood, it's so nice to see !

so yeah, choosing his route along with Roy's is worth it, can't wait for the next episode that will be released in a bit less than a month !

Pretty much gonna repost what I've discussed on the forum because I'm too lazy XD.

Also, I've created my own Tumblr account for my OC: @pinkpetalwhispers. It's still a work in progress.

While the episode was rather short, it was cute and wholesome. It was sweet of the company to organize a welcome party for the newest member of their team. I wonder if something like that is done in real life…

The outfit with the kimono was my favorite of the two, but I would've preferred it with a lighter color skirt rather than the dark purple. And, I'm not too keen on the boots.

In my personal opinion, I think it would've been best to have the party outside at the park. I wouldn't feel comfortable having them at my house because we aren't fully acquainted with our co-workers yet.

Although, I didn't like how many Amanda got an attitude over it. It is the MC's party after all, so she should be allowed to pick the setting of the party. It seemed really petty of her to be honest.

I decided to play through this episode with Thomas and the scenes with him were really cute. (Side tangent, motorcycles are actually terrifying to me but movies and TV shows always make them look so cool.) I especially liked the scene in the mall where Candy shared her sorbet with him and the flower crown scene in the park made me all giddy. I do like the slow burn/friendship adjacent moments with her crush; I'm glad that they're here so that the romance doesn't feel so rushed.

I hope that there are more in the next episode.

And apparently, from what I've gathered on the forum, many players have mentioned that Roy is apparently in a relationship with Brune. I do not know how serious the relationship was until I do a replay later. I do hope that for the sake of the Roy fans that they aren't trying to ruin what Roy and Brune have.

Thinking about that scene in the Minecraft Legends cinematic where the villagers plea with Knowledge and Action to give them weapons, and when Action begs them not to go down this path, Foresight tells them to respect their choice, so Knowledge gives them axes and Action surrenders their flower to take the axe and guide them and they become the pillagers and by the end of the game, they've become disillusioned by the horrors of war and start picking on the villagers they swore to protect and that's it; that's the end.

What was that??

Gaaaah, he is so...mischievous and full of himself, I really enjoyed the dialogue with him and the scene. He really does push the new Candy to some limits.
