Roy always thought he wasn’t interested in dating, that he could never fall in love so easily, but since you joined the company, you can’t seem to stop messing with his brain. You get him so flustered all the time… By the way you smile, the way you talk. Your laugh… So airy, so beautiful… He caught himself staring at you across his desk and turned bright red before going back to what he was doing. Damn… Why was he like that? Nevertheless, he landed his gaze on you one more time while you were focused on your work. He noticed this little twitch on your nose when you were focusing on something, it made him smile slightly. You felt the pressuring gaze of someone on you after a moment, and when you raised your head, you saw Roy staring. Your eyes met for a moment and he panicked making you even more confused. “Is something the matter?” You asked. You stared at him with worry while he was searching for something to say. “Hum… I wanted to try a new restaurant in town. Do you want to come with me?” Thomas, beside the two of you, was staring at his colleague with a suspicious look, even Amanda who was just passing by couldn’t help but chuckle at the scene. Roy was ignoring them with all his might. “Oh yes, I’d love to! Let me just finish this and we can go.” Roy was half delighted, half distraught by your answer, he didn’t know any restaurant that just opened actually… “Thomas, are you coming with us?” But he politely declined your proposition saying he still had work to do. While you were finishing your own things, Roy was desperately searching for any restaurant that just opened but couldn’t find anything. He quickly went to Devon’s office to ask him if he knew any, and, of course, he did. During the whole dinner, he was trying to stay as natural as possible with you, but it never felt so unnatural for him to do so. When he was with you, he felt a bond he never had with anyone before : you understood him so well and never judged him for anything. Your two personalities blended in so perfectly he never felt anything this strong before. Once the two of you finished your dinner, he proposed to walk you home. It was quite a walk from the restaurant, but after how much you ate, it couldn’t harm you. Thankfully you weren’t wearing heels that day… “It reminds me of the walk we made to the beach when I just joined the company. We should do it more often.” You said, breaking the silence. Roy smiled fondly at the memory. It wasn’t that long ago but it felt like you’ve always been here.  During the way to your home, you two spoke about nothing and everything at the same time. While you were watching straight in front of you, talking about a movie you watched the day before, Roy was looking at you absently; that’s when he noticed you shivering a little. “Here, take my jacket.” “Again? I should start paying you for this jacket.” You laughed. But he didn’t mind because it was you, though he could never say it out loud. Once in front of your house, you wanted to give him his jacket back but he pressed his hands on your shoulders telling you to keep it. “But I’m right in front of my house, I don’t need it!” “No, I insist, keep it. You’ll give it back to me another time.” “You’ll catch a cold like that Roy.” He smiled, hoping you couldn’t see his flushed cheeks in the dark. “I’ll run home. It’ll keep me warm, don't worry.” You sighed in capitulation. “Fine… For this time.” He returned your grin and then waved off once you safely entered your house. As he said, he ran on his way home to try to calm his thoughts.  He tried real hard not to think about it the whole evening but now it was all over his mind. You were all over his mind. He couldn’t deny it anymore : he was in love.

Episode 01

"After the Rain Comes the Sun"

As promised, here it is!

Until I was proud of the end result. Editing the bases is always easier than the images... Five and a half hours editing just two, and that's because I was stuck on one of them for four hours. Guess what it was.

About the route of each one, here is a summary:

Olivia Roux is Devenementiel's new employee (I still haven't gotten used to pronouncing that evil name!). Her story is basically that she just got out of college, was studying marketing, and was looking for a job. What follows is almost the same as Ysaline. Her mother was having a cocktail, met with Devon, found out he was looking for a new employee, and ended up recommending her daughter. I hadn't planned, but I ended up liking Zahra's background. And as a mother, she is the greatest love. So I changed some of my plans to keep things the same. Except that thing about... "Sleeping with that fifth-rate Don Juan." Definitely doesn't sound like something Ollie would do. Sweet, sincere, obstinate.

Colette Lebarde is a new business partner at Devenementiel. They made a contract to help each other, as she is also a small businesswoman looking to stand out in the field. What does she do? She sometimes helps Thomas with the technical side, but her area involves music. She produces sounds herself and is always very demanding in this regard. When organizing events, this is always your first concern. She is always walking around the company's open space, and always says it's because the place is really fun, with a good atmosphere. Not that that's not true, but the reality is that she doesn't have much to do when she doesn't have work. She usually works as a freelancer. Rebel, playful, attentive.

Meredith Dubois is actually Jason's assistant, and has been working at Goldreamz for a few years. Yes, I know that, canonically, Spencer (a character who hasn't appeared yet) is his assistant, but I don't care. He may have some other title, perhaps as a department manager or just as an ordinary employee. I love the Enemies to Lovers story concept, and from what little I've seen, this route looks like it's going to be full of clashes. Delicious. It would be cool to go that route, of course, but I couldn't think of a convincing, or covenient, excuse for Devon hiring three new people at practically the same time when his company seems to be in a tight spot, so that Mere and Jason end up having to stand against each other, so instead I decided to bring them together at once. That said, I ended up adding Ysaline's tragic past at EPMC with Ioan into her backstory after all. This makes for good drama. Having been Jason's assistant for some time now, she knows him well, and always tries to keep him in line so that he seems like a respectable boss, even though in the end it is an almost impossible task. Do what? Having the maturity of an 8-year-old child to respond is what gives this man his charm. Energetic, but serious and respectable.

The game will have 7different skin tones, 10 eyes and 10 hair colors to choose from.

I will post an image with the purple hair tomorrow on my insta along with some other little sneak peeks for you guys ;)

However I am sorry, I’m not sure the color is what you wish for, but hopefully you’ll still find a combination that pleases you ☺️

Also, all the colors to pick from for the MC customization (on illustrations) should be shown on Beemoov’s insta soon too I think.

Y'all are gonna think I'm so weird.

But I'm running with this idea I've had for a while for my mcl ocs. Well, other than the actual other mcl ocs I've made.

It's part lazy, part bizarre.

Clones.

Yep, clones.

My MCL NG oc is a clone of the original Puku, but different. I haven't figured out the details yet, but it's like what I did with Pukun, Puku's male clone. It has the idea of a type of clone theory idea of nature vs nurture. The DNA and nature of the puku clones is the same, but the nurture is always a bit different depending on circumstances. Puku "prime" is the parent of all the clones made, but Puku "prime" had a different parentage and upbringing than the clones. Not to mention, the events of each mcl game has different outcomes for clone Puku.

This Puku has -teal- hair and is a zoomer, I guess. Raised by Puku "prime" and has the existential grappling of dealing with being a clone in general.

There's... still a lot of ironing out to do. Like... Where does Kentin fit into all this? How should I incorporate the family given to Puku 2.0 in New Generation?

My MCL NG experience

So, I played the first two episodes on the launch day, and well, the history seems good for now. The plot itself isn't extraordinary, at least for now, so I don't have a lot of comments.

I've decided to go for Amanda after all. Her description is totally accurate, she's such a sweetheart in her special moments. As for the rest of the crushes... Everyone must have their red flags, right? I like Thomas, I think I actually have the highest LOM with him. Then there are Devon, Roy and Jason, all of them I would religiously avoid in real life.

Also, I really like uncle Archibald. I got both the answers right, but it sucks that we have to pay APs for something that is supposed to be a bonus item.

Also, I have a really hard time picking who my Ysaline should be. I want to create a whole ass nice OC, but I lack the ability to decide:(( But I still managed to dress up as myself for forum purposes.
