episode 2!! I liked it… this ep was kinda cool and the characters are cool and JASON IS HERE what a man but I don't know if it was just me but that childish tantrum between Jason, Roy and Devon was sooooo boring idk it looked like a school fight. elementary school you know. BUUUT on the other hand seeing Devon and Jason together next to each other was a treat. The illustrations were beautiful and I really liked Thomas and Jason's (even with his strange spine) and the clothes were beautiful, that's it I guess.

I ALMOST FORGOT that I found a name for my girls who we have: Hazel - and her crush is Jason, I THINK they already have a kind of romance but as there is the company rivalry maybe Hazel's colleagues could see this as an affair of betrayal or something like that, hazel is a self-assured person who always defends her friends, she doesn't talk much but when she talks about you she prepares to be shot (and she was inspired by the xmen storm);

Amelia - and her crush is Devon, she is in New Candy's place and is the newbie and Devon's secretary/intern, she is kind of a shy person, she is finishing her administration degree at Anteros Academy;

Chloe - and there's her crush Thomas, I still don't know much about her, she's fun and outgoing and she was the new girl before Amelia arrived and Chloe identified with her new co-worker's situation and I think they'll be good friends.

MCL NG edits (part 3)

Here she is. My main one. As you know, this is Elizabeth and she's the daughter of one of my OCs from the other games (I forgot to mention, that Avery is also a child of another of my OCs).

She's a sassy little one, sweet and well-mannered. She's a hopeless romantic and couldn't help but fall for Jason the second she saw him. Even so, she's still annoyed by him. Her color scheme is made out but not limited by green/gold/white. She loves those colors that scream "Yes, I'm a rich b**ch". Despite that, she's pretty humble and nice.

Here are Elizabeth's first impressions of the Lis:

Amanda: A nice girl, but Elizabeth feels a bit jealous for some reason.

Roy: He's a nice, kind man. He reminds her of her father.

Devon: A great, attentive boss. She is glad she works under him.

Jason: She thinks he's handsome and sort of wants him really, REALLY bad.

Thomas: She thinks he's... weird.

More about Elizabeth: She lives alone in the house that her parents used to live in recently. It's a nice, big house, but it feels empty. She hadn't worked anywhere before but got a lot of advice from people around her about work. She mostly got this job to experience the human world (since she's not human).

MCL NG edits (part 2)

The second one of my NG OCs is Avery. They are a cool and fun person. They love Thomas for being an interesting person with whom they can relate. Avery's color scheme can range from cute colors to all-black.

Here are Aery's first impressions of the Lis:

Amanda: She's ok.

Roy: He's a cool dude. Avery would love to go jogging with him

Devon: He's nice.

Jason: Avery thinks he's challenging them and that makes them very excited.

Thomas: Cool, smart, peculiar and his blushing face is adorable.

More about Avery: She was a graphing designer before joining Devenementiel but changed workplace because... they were bored? Yes, Avery considered their previous job a bit too boring. They have shared their apartment with someone else ever since Avery finished high-school. Their roommate is someone rebel like Avery.

Here are the edits for the first out of 3 of my main OCs for NG.

This is Chloé and her LI is Roy. She's a bit of a shy girl, but also very mature. She loves Roy's warm personality and how attentive he is with her. Her color scheme is usually made up of warm colors but some cold ones as well if that's the case.

Here are her first impressions about the Lis:

Amanda: She's cute and nice. They could be BFFs.

Roy: Man of her dreams. Would hug him non-stop.

Devon: He's cool but she's still anxious around him for some reason.

Jason: "What a douche."

Thomas: He reminds her of one of her younger brothers.

More about Chloé: She lives alone now. She moved out when she got the job at Devenementiel. Before that, she had some other small gigs, but nothing serious. Also, no relationships before because of her shyness. Her personality is mostly sweet.

Episode 02

"The Law of the Jungle"

To wrap up what we have of game content for now, here I am to bring you the second episode. But I think I'll still come up with something to post while we wait for the third episode to be released.

Anyway, I found the moments with the LI's fun and very intimate. And the scene with Jason… WOW. I love the progression of the thing.

But changing the subject a little, I think it's funny how the Soft Work outfit (meeting with Thomas and Amanda) is totally like Olivia and the Hard Work outfit (meeting with Devon, Roy and Jason), in turn, is totally like from Colette. I had to change them, as you can see. And it turned out great. I especially loved the result in Thomas' image. Meredith wears a formal dress, very appropriate for the occasion. She is a woman of class. I tried to make her expression more neutral, since the context in my headcanon is different. She basically operates to try to stop Jason from causing trouble, and he, in turn, always provokes her.

Episode 01

"After the Rain Comes the Sun"

As promised, here it is!

Until I was proud of the end result. Editing the bases is always easier than the images... Five and a half hours editing just two, and that's because I was stuck on one of them for four hours. Guess what it was.

About the route of each one, here is a summary:

Olivia Roux is Devenementiel's new employee (I still haven't gotten used to pronouncing that evil name!). Her story is basically that she just got out of college, was studying marketing, and was looking for a job. What follows is almost the same as Ysaline. Her mother was having a cocktail, met with Devon, found out he was looking for a new employee, and ended up recommending her daughter. I hadn't planned, but I ended up liking Zahra's background. And as a mother, she is the greatest love. So I changed some of my plans to keep things the same. Except that thing about... "Sleeping with that fifth-rate Don Juan." Definitely doesn't sound like something Ollie would do. Sweet, sincere, obstinate.

Colette Lebarde is a new business partner at Devenementiel. They made a contract to help each other, as she is also a small businesswoman looking to stand out in the field. What does she do? She sometimes helps Thomas with the technical side, but her area involves music. She produces sounds herself and is always very demanding in this regard. When organizing events, this is always your first concern. She is always walking around the company's open space, and always says it's because the place is really fun, with a good atmosphere. Not that that's not true, but the reality is that she doesn't have much to do when she doesn't have work. She usually works as a freelancer. Rebel, playful, attentive.

Meredith Dubois is actually Jason's assistant, and has been working at Goldreamz for a few years. Yes, I know that, canonically, Spencer (a character who hasn't appeared yet) is his assistant, but I don't care. He may have some other title, perhaps as a department manager or just as an ordinary employee. I love the Enemies to Lovers story concept, and from what little I've seen, this route looks like it's going to be full of clashes. Delicious. It would be cool to go that route, of course, but I couldn't think of a convincing, or covenient, excuse for Devon hiring three new people at practically the same time when his company seems to be in a tight spot, so that Mere and Jason end up having to stand against each other, so instead I decided to bring them together at once. That said, I ended up adding Ysaline's tragic past at EPMC with Ioan into her backstory after all. This makes for good drama. Having been Jason's assistant for some time now, she knows him well, and always tries to keep him in line so that he seems like a respectable boss, even though in the end it is an almost impossible task. Do what? Having the maturity of an 8-year-old child to respond is what gives this man his charm. Energetic, but serious and respectable.

I mean, a very elegant uncle. At first glance, he gave me the impression of a butler. I don't know, uncles and aunts in this game seem quite eccentric. But the way he acts and the things he said, I wonder if he could be a baron. I liked him. And the theme song that plays when he appears is great!

Well then, I hadn't yet given my opinion on what I thought of My Candy Love NewGen, but here I am now!

The game really excited me, I'm not going to lie. There are many pros, and some cons too, but I know it could be much worse, as I read the posts of those who played the beta version. And yes, I'm talking about the fact that critical choices spend up to 100 AP's.

Leaving the technical issues aside, and how much I will end up spending on this game, there are a lot of interesting things, like your personality graph. It may be silly, but I was kind of enchanted by it. And about the story, I really have nothing to complain about so far. It was quite fun playing these first two episodes. I laughed so hard at some of the responses or comments. The thing about the messages that each character can send at each end of the episode, I thought was a masterstroke. I really loved it.

That said, since the release I've been killing myself with my girls' edits, images and better designing my headcanon. It's easier to fit it in now that I have more context. Soon I will be posting everything I prepared.

Hi,

Yes, I did manage to get some and there's how and why I can't get it all.

First, some words before we proceed. The reason I can't download all of the clothes is because some are made from 2 pieces. I don't know if you remember whenever the site came out and there was a section where you can see previews of clothes from the game.

There were front and back pieces. And I believe clothes have that too and I think that's why I can't save them.

But let's see how I found out.

So, you go to the closet where are the clothes are and then press F12 or right-click, and then inspect element. Now, go to sources and look for "assets,mycandylove-newgen.com". Here you can find other subcategories but what interests us is "cloth/hanger/hd".

Here you can see all the clothes from the closet but in this format. But that's ok. Like in the last game, we have to change some parts from the URL of the specific clothes. Now, Let's say you want this top from the image. You right-click on it and open it in a new tab.

Look in the URL for this part "hanger":

And swap what's between the lines with "full":

And then voilà:

Now you can save it.

You'll say "so, I can do that to anything that I find, no?" No. Like I said, the ones that are made from 2 pieces won't work.

For example:

This. I tried doing it with this as well but it won't work because, if you look closely, there is a small piece at the back that won't show on the avatar if you use a dress or something that goes over that part:

And what I have in the "hanger" version is the full piece, not the pieces separately which are in the actual game. I hope you understand what I mean. So, things that seem made from 2 pieces won't work.

I feel like the accessories might work because it's composed mostly of one piece.

What about eyes, hair, mouth?

I could only save mostly short hairs like these ones:

I did manage to find the base. If you go to "item order" in the game and then look at the sources at "skin/full/md" you will find the skin there:

You can open that in a new tab and, in the URL you can change "md" with "hd" (those are image sizes) and of course "hanger" with "full". It doesn't have a nose, eye, or mouth, but... yeah.

But again, I'm no expert. I only found out about it because the goose outfit had this in the URL:

Plus, this word was used before in the other games. But if I find another way I will reblog this post with my findings.
