Extreme Ghostbusters: The Complete Series will be released on manufactured-on-demand DVD on March 19 via Sony. A sequel to The Real Ghostbusters, the animated series was syndicated for one season in 1997.
Developed by Jackie Chan Adventures co-creator Jeff Kline and The Simpsons producer Richard Raynis, the show stars Tara Strong, Maurice LaMarche, Jason Marsden, Pat Musick, Alfonso Ribeiro, Rino Romano, and Billy West.
All 40 episodes are included across nine discs. No special features are included.
Years after the events of The Real Ghostbusters, the original Ghostbusters crew have all moved on to different careers – except for Egon Spengler. After a prolonged quiet period, Egon is now a college professor on the paranormal and the sole caretaker of the firehouse – and Slimer. When supernatural activity suddenly resurges across New York and once again threatens the city, he recruits the help of four college students to form an all-new Ghostbusters team.

And Now, Certain People I Met At NYCC You May Have Heard of...
Slowly gonna start sharing some of the photos from this year's NYCC, so for today, here is a few pics I think you may like.
Sarah-Nicole Robles, I think you may have heard of her, starred in this show called The Owl House or something...
Seriously though it was nice to meet her (she showed up along with several other cast members on Thursday. I was lucky to find out about it when I did.)
Every year I seem to meet at least 1 wrestler. And this year, I met Matt Hardy!
I got a chance to talk with him a bit about the match I considered my favorite of the Bray Wyatt matches (The Ultimate Deletion) and he had some good things to share about it. (Shooting took 9 hours)
I waited a good 30 to 45 minutes to get an autograph and a selfie with Kevin Eastman. I say it was well worth it.
Also, he would also like to have the TMNT do a crossover with Marvel sooner or later.

Well, thats all of the celeb pictures I got. Tune in next time for---
...oh wait wait, I'm sorry. There's just one more pic I think I should share...
Yes. I met two voices from my childhood and teenage years in person.
Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche, known to many as the voices behind Pinky and the Brain. They were there (along with Tress MacNeille and other voice actors) for Thursday and when I met with them, the following happened and for anyone who has ever known me, I did something that was quite unique.
Me: Before we take this picture, there is something I always wanted to do.
Maurice: Oh?
Me: Yes...(deep breath) Egon Spengler...(points to Rob) meet Jack Fenton. Jack Fenton, meet Egon Spengler!
(Both Laugh)
Maurice: (in Egon's voice) Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Fenton
Rob: (In Jack's voice) Likewise! Time to go ghost
The fact that I actually got to do this AND impress both of them with that is not lost on me.
I got the First season of Real Ghostbusters on DVD today
This is honestly quite a nice Steelbook some of the discs have some scratches but they should be able to play also this was meant to be a Christmas present but my dad said fuck it and gave me it early so I can now fully watch the first season of Real Ghostbusters (I've been watching the show on the Ghostbusters YouTube channel but one of the episodes is missing and another episode audio just cuts out)
Oh also another thing this artwork of Ray on the cover
"The DVD set's visual commentary for the episode "Egon on the Rampage" opens with an adorable improv bit between Maurice LaMarche (Egon) and Laura Summer (Janine), which not only doubles as a Crowning Moment of Funny, but is heartwarming on both the "real world" level (for showing the kind of camaraderie that existed between the cast) and "in-universe" (if you picture it between the characters):
Laura Summer: (in the same voice she used for Janine, watching her character get slimed during the Title Theme Tune) I was very glamorous.
Maurice LaMarche: (in his Egon voice) Very glamorous, especially with slime all over you. It's your best look.
"Janine": Thanks, Egon.
"Egon": I don't have to hold back now because the show's over, so I can confess my feelings towards you.
"Janine": Did you really feel that way?
"Egon": (in the flattest monotone) I felt deeply, deeply affectionate towards you. Can't you tell?
