For clarity in case you haven't played it, after marrying one of the characters you can have kids (or adopt if it's same-sex marriage) and then there's a dark magic shrine that lets you turn the kids into birds, effectively removing them from the game. This player did so with every marriage candidate.

I'm just going to go ahead and go with the standard reasoning for doing something like this.

sometimes you have to accept tht your tastes are not so easily encased in the amber of Types. im not into milves either but i still would marry Robin Stardewvalley over any of the single girls in the game. understanding that types are a guideline rather than a rule will make you happier and open you up to so many girls you wouldnt have considered before. i believe you can achieve nirvana anon

F*** Pierre

I hate Pierre...

No but like, I really hate Pierre.

So unsurprisingly, when I play Stardew, my characters aren't too fond of Pierre either. Sometimes I only 10 hearts him to complete my game.

I created a Joja file with a character named Sinner (because also f*** Joja) and while I was playing it, I realised the best way to f*** over Pierre was not only to support the megacorporation that was trying to put him out of business, but ruin his personal life as well. So I married his daughter. I'm also at 10 hearts with Caroline as well, so my hc is that I'm sleeping with her on the side.

But anyway, I'm doing my 1.6 playthrough and started a new playthrough with Cass (because no-one else gets to marry my sweet doctor boi), and I'm trying to get as far as possible before end of year 2, so I loaded up on loved gifts for the villagers and went on my merry way. I found about 8 of them in Pierres, went around and gave them all their favourite things, then just looked at Pierre.

All I could imagine was an interaction playing out, like Pierre watches Cass give everyone gifts that they love, and is like "hey farmer, what you got in that backpack for me?"

And Cass just stares at Pierre for a few moments, before giving him the middle finger and walking out.

Anyway, I found the idea amusing, but I doubt it'll make it into LSBS so enjoy my 4am thoughts/fic outtakes

I have a small comic idea for #stardewvalley and its just me meeting my game-wife, Haley.

Mostly because when i came into town i was SO bummed no one seemed to like me, that when I saw Haley I went soup-brained, it went smth like:

Apollo: aw fuck. No one likes me :( that fuckin SUCKS (i met shane probably)

Haley: Oh... you're that new farmer boy, aren't you? Huh? Oh... I'm Haley. Hmm... If it weren't for those horrendous clothes you might actually be cute. Actually, nevermind.

Apollo: [OH MY GOD SHE LOOKS LIKE MY IRL GF HOLY FUCK DONT MESS IT UP- WHATD SHE SAY???] awww thanks. I am cute aren’t i? I handpicked my clothes for an hour :D

And now we’re married in game. Isnt that amazing.
