I'm 3 months on T!

Another month on half dose T has gone by, it's so fast! This month it feels like changes have plateaued, if I didn't put the gel on every morning I could have believed that I didn't have any T in me anymore xD Most changes just continued so slowly and gradually that it wasn't really noticable, but here's the things I think have changed:

Confirmation that my body odour has changed, my granparents' dog didn't recognise me and barked at me like a stranger for a good while. I don't notice the new smell anymore tho, gotten used to it

Getting a bit more pimples now, mostly in the area I shave on my face

My voice doesn't sound deeper to me but my voice app records my voice a few notes lower than before so it's changing a bit

Veeery slow gradual increase of body hair I think, hard to say tho

My face looks like it's changed a bit? Like I can't point to anything specific but it looks a tiny bit more masc to me when I look in the mirror

The skin on my face has also gotten dryer and is maybe a bit rougher now

Another small increase in bottom growth

the fact that Stardew Valley is a $15 indie game that came out almost a decade ago with zero microtransactions and is still receiving free DLC updates to this day is absolutely bonkers. There are $50-60 AAA games with paid DLC that have come out more recently and aren’t nearly as actively supported or updated.

Slavic Creepiness

1. Doesn’t matter if you live in the country or in a big city. THOSE Old Women are there. Not all old women, just THOSE. You’ll know one when you see her.They don’t usually speak, but when you meet them, try listening nonetheless.

2. Bathtubs? A lot of them. On the pastures, on the fields, in the backyards, I don’t really know why. Do we need this many bathtubs? Where do we get them from? Old ones, new ones, ones with little ponds inside with water you don’t want to touch. 

3. Crucifixes everywhere. You get used to them and after a while you don’t really remember that on every single one there is a young man dying in an unimaginable agony, a symbol of suffering, of self-sacrifice. But there’s just SO many of them… We hang them in the classrooms, above every door, above the head of our beds, in the hospitals, on our cars’ rearview mirrors. They guard our roads, our houses, our graveyards. We put them where we don’t fee safe. Sometimes you can even see the remains of something older under some of them, some other symbol ripped from the earth and replaced with a cross, but still standing on the same base. Sometimes the base is cracked. 

4. Many people have little altars of Virgin Mary. She looks almost indentical in every single one - blue or white robe, headscarf, hands praying, head hanging low or looking straight ahead, face blank. When I was little, my Nanny - an Old Woman - used to point at them and say: “This is Bozia - don’t bite your fingers, because the Bozia won’t give you another set”. I was 15 when I learned that “Bozia” isn’t, in fact, God’s Mother. She is God herself. 

5. Kupala’s Night can get intense. If you feel like don’t know some things, it’s better to stay inside. If you feel like you know too much, it’s better to stay inside, too. If you know just enough not to get spotted or hurt… well, you can go outside and have some fun.

6. If you’re in the woods alone, remember, your dog can’t whistle. Its not him who’s whistling back. I know, it seems obvious, but it gets harder to remember sometimes, so idk, just tattoo it on the inside of your eyelids - your dogs can’t whistle. It phisically isn’t able to. To whistle you need an efficient tongue, lips that can form into a circle, teeth or fingers. Your dog CAN’T whistle. Some other things can. 

7. Hot girls usually don’t hang out in dark ponds. Don’t let them pull you into the water.

8. Don’t leave little children sleeping next to an open window. Move them just enough so that if something tries to take the baby, it won’t be able to reach it from the outside. 

9. Be respectful. Don’t be stupid.

10. If you see small animal skulls formed in a circle, don’t trash there. Don’t try to move them. Just leave the same way you came. 

11. If you spend your holidays in the woods, you will sometimes hear singing and see glow of a fireplace. If you try coming closer, they will disappear. They con’t like being watched. They don’t mind if you listen, though, so just remember to set an alarm in your phone, just in case.

12. Colza fields can be deeper than you think.

13. I cannot stress this enough, DON’T SLEEP ON A FIELD AT NOON 

14. Or just don’t sleep on a field whatsoever, everything can see you there and from a distance the woods may seem just like a wall of darkness, but you don’t know, what is looking right at ya

15. Old churches are not yours to explore, fuck off

16. If you have long hair, don’t wear it loose during sumer and winter solstice - braid it or just put it in a ponytail.

17. If you’re in a small village and hear strange things from the outside at the night, con’t come out to check. You can look, but only if you’re sure none of your windows are open, or you can just call your neighbours and tell them to take the cats inside, because the wild dogs came, and sleep better. 

18. If you’re eating alone, move your extra chairs to the table, or just put something on them, a coat, a napkin, whatever, just don’t let them remain empty. An empty chair is an invitation. 

19. There’s plenty of old bullets and misfires, scattered here and there. Don’t touch them, even if they look fresh. Call 122 and let the services deal with them. 

20. Learn to swallow your saliva. Some people have an unhealthy habit of spitting on the ground every five meters and yet some of them manage to spit in a wrong place. Don’t be that guy. 

21. If you don’t believe in God, that’s fine. He’s cool with it. But if you don’t believe in Żywa or Perun, don’t say it out loud. They don’t like to hear it and they might just want to prove you wrong. Just be respectful. 

22. If you for some reason aren’t able to visit your deceased loved ones during Zaduszki/Dziady, tell them why you can’t come and maybe offer them some alcohol, just to be sure. 

23. There’s lot of stuff left behind by soldiers and rebels and if you find something looking like it belongs in the 30′s or 40′s but is new and seems untouched by the time, leave it where you found it. If it’s a book, don’t write anything in it. If it’s a passport, don’t look at the photo.
