Aqua is the first book. Aqua is about a merrow (mermaid) named Merliah. (Mer-lee-ah/uh)
Merliah has spent most of her life trapped behind glass, until now. She finally has the freedom she has craved for years... until Captain Matthew Criscione comes along to snatch her freedom yet again.
Ventus is the second book. Ventus is about a merrow (mermaid) named Zephyrus. (Zeh-fy-riss/russ)
Zephyrus is weeks away from graduating highschool, but she has no idea what she wants to do afterwards. The year is 1958 and most young women go to college to take a home economics course. Her main goal has always been to fit in and stick to the status quo, but being anything but normal makes it hard.

I’m stuck on the power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ. God really put all of His scriptures and their fulfillment in His one and only Son. As I was reading the scriptures, I came to the story of the demonic man of Gerasenes. Luke 8:28-29AMPC stuck out to me… “And when he saw Jesus, he… fell down before Him… and shouted loudly, What have You [to do] with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?… I beg You, do not torment me! For Jesus was already commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man…” Clearly, the demons had no difficulty knowing absolutely correct and sure the power in the name of Jesus Christ.
All angels know the power the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, including the ones sent to us. Hebrews 1:13-14NIV “…Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” We can use their power to help us by using His name.
These various angels work for us— with or without our knowledge. Remembering back, December 26, heaviest shopping day of the year— our granddaughter Jen was two years old. She wandered away from the family in the ladies restroom at Glenbrook Mall, Fort Wayne IN. Panicked, six family members scattered searching for her. I stood still where she should’ve been, dispatching angels to go and bring her to me. Minutes later the crowd parted, like the Red Sea. Jen walked towards me crying. Suddenly recognizing me, she ran straight to me. No human hand was leading her, yet because of the name of Jesus, she was led to where she belonged by unseen hands.
Our son’s temperature hovered near 104. Rebuking the fever in the name of Jesus Christ, he vomited out whatever caused the sickness with no further symptoms remaining. Once, before Lou knew Christ, his temper was leading him into big trouble. The name of Jesus Christ arrested his actions mid-movement. (I could continue these ‘Jesus’ testimonies for hours).
There’s a teaching claiming to address Messiah by the name Jesus is to insult Him. They claim Jesus Christ must be addressed as ‘Yeshua.’ This is age-old arguing and confusion. Yahweh speaks every language known to man— using Jesus or Yeshua doesn’t matter to Him, as long as we speak in reverence.
People find the name of Jesus Christ worth dying for. Meanwhile others defile His name. The name Jesus Christ is defamed irreverently. Do you ever hear anyone saying Allah damn? Buddha damn? Me neither.
2Corinthians 11:14NLT “…Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” An evangelist friend, and solid believer in Christ was a witch before she realized satan had no power to overcome the name of Jesus Christ. She told me, ‘there’s a demon named Jesus, masquerading as our Savior to deceive people.’ Janelle is very careful to speak only of and pray only to ‘the name of Jesus Christ, or Jesus the Christ.’ This leaves no doubt for me, Paul was absolutely correct in saying,”Yeshua The Messiah is THE LORD JEHOVAH to the glory of God His Father.”
We’ve been given the authority of this name to use, see Luke 9:1, 10:19, Mark16:16-18.
We’ve been given work to do, see Mark 16:15-18, Matthew 28: 16-19. Will we believe and use His name in the battles all around us? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Father God, thank You for the power included in the name of Jesus Christ. Help us to believe, I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ.

A Warm-Fuzzy
“The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.” Job 2:6NIV
Poor Job, he’d lost everything, herds, servants, children— everything. His wife told Job, “curse God and die,” (Job 2:9). Covered from head to foot with boils, Job had every reason to denounce God.
When the pains, which had put me through the ordeal initially, reoccurred, I believe I understood how Job might’ve felt. How could I be sick again? I’d discovered where I’d opened the door through sin, learned my lesson, repented, please God—‘no.’ But there I lay on a gurney in the ER, unable to breathe again— with massive pain in my heart area.
Doctors ran a CT SCAN, but no answers, just horrific pain. How could God abandon me again? Standing up inside, I wasn’t going to allow hopelessness to overtake me.
Flipping channels, trying to concentrate on anything but the pain, I found the 700 Club. It had been twenty plus years since seeing it on TV. I didn’t even know it existed.
Inside, I felt a warm-fuzzy. Back in the mid-1980s, I’d been laying in a hospital bed with spinal fluid leaking from a myelogram, (the precursor of today’s MRI). Testing was done to see if I had a ruptured disc. The spinal headache was intense pain. Flipping channels back then, too, Ben, a co-host, was praying. God gave him a word of knowledge— ‘the Lord was healing a woman in a hospital bed with leaking spinal fluid.’ That was me! I knew it, accepted it, and was immediately healed.
Well, now some nearly 30 years later, 700 Club wouldn’t have the same type of segment on their program, would they? Absolutely, they did. (You can watch it, if you want. I’ve watched it several times now on youtube. Just look up 700 Club— December 6’s, daily broadcast.) Gordon Robertson said, ‘There’s a woman with her right hand over her heart.’ He proceeded to say I was troubled with many things, but God was healing my heart pains, angina, fixing the trouble, plus giving me peace. Two hours later the pain was gone and peace replaced it. Hallelujah.
Doctors spent the next two days trying to prove my heart was ailing— there was too much infection in my body… They wouldn’t listen to their patient say, ‘God healed me in the night.’
Right now the world doesn’t want to hear about— “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him.” Acts 10:38NIV. All they want to hear about is bad news.
People don’t believe— “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19NIV which holds hands with—
“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes, with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark16:17-18NIV. Per Strong’s Concordance “snakes” Greek word was ‘Opheis,’ ’Probably from optanomai; a snake, figuratively, an artful malicious person, especially Satan.’ Holy Spirit told me demons or the demonic for snakes. We have authority.
This world needs our testimonies. God’s power, His healing and love more than ever before. We have the power given to us, but will we use it to lead others to truth? Satan won’t spare anyone’s pain, unless we force him to do so. Will you wield God’s power? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Holy God help us to rise up whole. Meet the world head-on with Your love for them. Give them Your mercy, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

“GOD IS FOR YOU!”

As we approach the new year, let us recommit our efforts to live for God with all our heart, our mind and strength. You must make up your mind to go all the way with him. He is worth fighting for and he promised that he will give you a new name and keep you from the hour of temptation. We can feel it in the atmosphere that something is up, but we must move forward. ONLY THE FAITHFUL WILL OVERCOME. Time is short and thou it feels like your strength is waning, Paul encourages us:- 9. And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. (2 Cor 12:9). So, when you feel weak, God is not punishing you, he just wants an opportunity to show up in your situation.
John urges us in his message to the Church of Philadelphia:-
7. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth. 8. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (Revelation 3:7-13)
