The plot is PERFECT FOR BOWSARIO!!! A family member of the main character is stolen and the main character saves them from the beast and takes their family’s place instead. And the main character is more feisty than their family member, a kind convo isn’t gonna change the beast. They’re gonna start fighting but then slowly fall in love once the main character puts the beast in their place.

Not gonna lie, which I did greatly enjoy the Bowuigi scene from the Mario movie (and the movie as a whole), I kind of want to see a different take on the movie where everything is the same, but the major twist is that Luigi is the one who landed in the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario is the one who landed in the Dark Lands.

But yea, I just think Mario would have more of a hold on bowser if they ever started to date. Mario has fought him and kicked his ass into next week, to bowser that’s hot but also during arguments he knows not to get Mario too riled up cuz he knows Mario could definitely kick his ass if he wanted too.

Granted Mario would not fight his lover but bowser doesn’t wanna push him far enough to find that out himself lmao.

Also I do think they would still butt heads even if they do date or are married. it would not be a lot and they would try their best to talk it out but y’all know how bowser usually is… “my way or the high way” and I just feel like he’d be like that with just about anyone, including his lover. Though he probably would be just a little bit more lenient with them just because they’re dating.

I do feel this dynamic will become more apparent later down in the road, like say a year or two of dating
