listen as someone in the Final Fantasy XV fandom i get what it’s like to experience a finale that leaves you with a lot of upset feelings and “but what if they just--” and i think it’s valid to create and consume fan content that ignores a sad ending for the sake of fan content. like i will be doing that for Amphibia. BUT in terms of what i think is the superior writing choice? in terms of what i think should be the canon for everyone to see? “The Hardest Thing” was great. imo it’s lame to ignore/dismiss the themes and messages of the show just because the finale made you sad or upset :/

I love Marcy because whenever i get too deep into thinking about my issues and i start to feel like shit i can just go “ha okay Marcy Kinnie” and turn it into a joke and continue to not think about it
