The Frozen Heart Saga book 1:
The Frosted Diamond part 1
(A/N: yes I’m doing two “bridgerton” sibling love stories at once, I’m making them intertwining in the same year in a sort of love… rhombus? Idk. anyway Loki x Elsa Anna x Kristoff in this??? Hint of Hans because I needed a Lord Berbrooke and yes I know Anna is basically Edwina and Daphne combined in this story plot wise I’m sorry LoL)
Chapter 1: Tis the Season for Elegant Ladies
Elsa stared sadly out the window as she listened to her sister rush down the hall giggling excitedly, “ELSA!!! We MUST make haste!!! We’re going to be late!!! The one who needs primping is ME!!!” She teased as she passed Elsa’s door.
Anna might be excited that she’s to marry… she has hope that love will find a way… but she doesn’t realize how important this alliance could be, Elsa thought.
The kingdom was going broke…
The mines where they mined silver had run out… and Elsa was forced to pawn her little sister as a marriage prospect to nobles of their Allies… including the big one… the Realm of Asgard itself.
As queen of Arendelle,a kingdom in Norway near where the asgardians once ruled Eons ago, she’d be preferable as a marriage candidate… but her secret… her powers that even Anna didn’t know about… that could literally kill someone. Her powers were too volatile. No one could know… the kingdom and her very life could be at stake.
They’d call her a witch… a monster.
So she was better off alone…
Her sister was the only viable option.
So she had to make sure that any suitor Anna took a fancy to was just right… she owed that to the kingdom, and to her sister… she deserved better than being stuck with a frigid distant sister for the rest of their lives.
She needed a love match.
She sighed as she heard her sister who had rushed back to her room next door to her own, as she sang cheerily to herself,
“This is only the beginning of the life that I’ll be living!!! I’m dreaming of a match for love! Just like mama and papa had done! So mama papa if you’re looking down from above”
Elsa winced as she heard her sister trip over the edge of her gown and fall to the floor.
Then she sighed in relief as Anna giggled,
“I’m marrying for love!” Anna finished, and Elsa grimaced.
She needed to find a wealthy suitor for her sister… but she also owed it to her sister to find her a love match…
How was she going to pull this off?
Meanwhile on the other side of the nine realms a very different family was getting ready for the arrival of the two sisters, as well as other hopefuls.
“Thor where is your brother?!?” Queen Frigga asked, it seemed like her beloved son was always disappearing off to some unknown corner to avoid expectations… for someone who claimed he wanted to prove himself to his surly father he sure didn’t make an effort. Or so it seemed to her… Loki confided in her a lot about how his father preferred Thor… and when he realized he wasn’t who he thought he was… it got so much worse. Because then he had a reason WHY Odin doted on their oldest son. And after Thor found a bride the previous season in a young mortal named Jane… it got worse. Because he knew his status as next in line after Thor goes away after Thor and his new wife produced an heir.
At least Hela isn’t here to put the boys in even more turmoil, Frigga thought and winced, then she looked at Thor again.
“If your brother is to be respected as prince of Asgard he must ACT like prince of Asgard and show some responsibility! Thor WHERE is he?!? He promised he’d look for a bride this year!”
Thor shrugged,
“I do not know.”
Frigga groaned.
At the other side of the palace, a pair of lovers had secreted away from the hustle and bustle, and the responsibilities and expectations.
The young woman giggled,
“Just hold me closer now! Our time is running out!”
The young prince laughed,
“Oh Wanda… you know it’s half past nine!”
“Then my love stop the time! Just put it in your pocket and lock it away!” She teased and he smiled gently,
“Wanda you know I cannot stay! My royal duties await!” He frowned sadly, then kissed her forehead,
“So I’ll see you Saturday.”
The young woman sighed,
“Okay.” And then he was gone…
Back at the throne room Frigga sighed with relief as her son approached,
“Loki where were you? We were worried you’d backed out on your promise!”
Odin humphed, and Loki grimaced,
“No of course not mother…”
The ceremony of Frigga and Odin meeting all the marriage candidates was entirely too long and boring…
Once it was finally over Loki needed to get out of the palace and clear his head,
Dark cloud started forming, a crack of Thunder, and he stroked his horse’s neck, soothing it,
“Easy boy… storm coming.”
He had been riding on his black horse in the hills outside the palace towards the woods for about twenty minutes when he was startled by a flash of white, blue and silver rushing by.
He blinked and saw a young lady taking off like a bat out of hell on her white horse.
She had the purple hood of her cape up, so he couldn’t really see what she looked like, but when she turned and looked at him in alarm because she almost ran into him not paying attention all he could see were the most beautiful big blue eyes he had ever seen in his life.
She turned back around and started going even faster down the hill towards the forest,
“Miss are you in trouble?!?”
So he did what any gentleman would do… he followed her to make sure sure she was alright.
But then he saw the small hedge towards the bottom of the hill in front of the forest.
“Ma’am be careful!” He called, but she couldn’t hear him…
She wasn’t going to stop in time!
“WHOA THERE!!!!” He yelled.
And then something amazing happened.
The horse leaped over the hedge, clearing it with ease, the young prince sighed in relief, the young lady and her horse stopped, lowered her hood, and turned and looked at the young man following her.
He was stunned…
Long blonde hair in a braid over her shoulder,
Large sapphire eyes…
The cutest little lips. Then they curled up into a proud smile, and she carried on her way.
That and her spectacular horsemanship pushed him over the edge of just being curious and concerned for this mysterious young woman.
It was then he knew he was a goner.
Little did he know their paths would cross again…
Sooner than he thought possible.

Arendelle Adventures Chapter 20 - Goose
Read on AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/35770243/chapters/131377150
Series Summary: The adventures and mishaps of the princesses of Arendelle: Elsa and Anna. one-shots. Chapter Summary: Anna and her goslings. Part 2/2.
Anna woke up to someone clearing their throat at the end of her bed. The princess groaned and rolled over, bringing her pillow over her head to block out the noise. Only when she heard someone say her name, did she look up. Her eyes flickered open and quickly fell on her parents. Her father had his arms crossed over his chest, though her mother held a small ball of yellow fluff in her hands. Kailash.
Anna bolted upright, her cheeks flaming. She had done so well hiding them all yesterday- it was a little sad that she had been found out so soon.
"H-hi Mama, Papa." Anna smiled weakly, as if ignoring the gosling in her mother's palms would make is disappear- or at least prevent her from seeing it. "How are you two this morning?" The princess asked, smiling up at her parents. They didn't smile back.
"Anna," The Queen said calmly. "What is this?"
The princess let her eyes fall down to Kailash, whom was happily sleeping in the Queen's careful hands. "Uh . . ." Anna mumbled, bringing her eyes up to her parents once again. "A goose?" She shrugged.
"And what is it doing here?" The King asked; his tone not as harsh as Anna would have expected it to be. Her eyes danced from her father's, to her mother's, and then to Kailash's little body. She knew very well that she wasn't getting out of this one- no matter how hard she tried. The young girl sucked in a breath.
"IfoundherandIcouldn'tfindhermothersoIkindoftookherinbecauseIdidn'twanttoleaveheraloneandpleasedon'tmakemegiveherback." Ann rushed, starring at her blanket as she spoke.
"What?" The King and Queen asked almost in unison, narrowing their confused eyes at their youngest daughter. Anna sighed, and tucked her platinum strand of hair behind her ear.
"I found her- Kailash-" She nodded at the gosling. "-and I didn't want to leave her all alone. I couldn't see her Mama anywhere. They're babies, I couldn't just leave them. I thought that maybe I would take care of them- at least until the mother goose comes back."
The King shook his head and closed his eyes. "Anna-"
"What do you mean by them?" The Queen interrupted, raising a dark eyebrow at her daughter. Anna's cheeks flamed, and once again she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. The King had given up on whatever he had been planning to say, and glanced at the princess. Obviously, he was interested in the answer too. Darn.
"Well, uh . . ." Anna's eyes flickered to the open toy chest, and the King and Queen soon followed her eyes. The Queen stepped forward, hesitantly, until she could peer down into the chest. Anna's toes curled, afraid that she'd be in trouble.
The Queen gasped, and looked up at Anna with disapproving eyes. The princess winced. The King leaned over her shoulder to look in the chest, and then looked at Anna with a similar gaze to her mother's.
"Anna, you can't keep them." The King said sternly.
"Why?" The red-haired princess whined. She stuck her lip out in a pout, and crossed her own arms. "I'm bored- and lonely. Please, let me keep them. I'll take good care of them- I promise, I will!"
The King and Queen shared a look. They hated it when Anna played the "lonely" card. It was kind of a cheap shot. Finally they sighed. Really, how much harm could it do, letting her have a few little gosling pets?
Anna knew they were caving, so she put on her best puppy-dog eyes. Oh no, The King thought. Not the eyes. Please, not the eyes. By now, it looked like he and the Queen were physically struggling to keep their mouths shut. Anna's lip began to tremble.
"Fine," The King gave in. Anna cheered.
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" She laughed, jumping from her bed and wrapping her arms around her parents' middles. Kailash stirred and woke, honking loudly to announcing her presence.
"But you have to keep them outside, no more bringing them into the castle." The Queen added, handing Kailash back to Anna, who lightly touched one of her yellow feathers.
"Deal. Thank you so much." She said, smiling up to her parents. Though the King tried to fight it, he smiled back too.
"Okay," Anna mumbled, turning back to her box-o-geese. "Let's get you four back to the pond."
When Anna arrived at dinner that evening, she was grinning like a fool. She had spent all day with her little goslings- and had brought down old pieces of cloth to make their nest more comfortable. Even though she knew it wouldn't do any good, Anna made Alma a little sling for her wing. She had frantically tried to shake it off only moments later, so Anna didn't bother trying to put it back on her. Emil had, again, eaten everything Anna had given them to eat. It was a little funny, seeing how much he ate in comparison to Kailash.
"Hello!" Anna called, seating herself in her chair with a plate of food and a lid already set for her. The King and Queen smiled at her, and at the feather stuck in one of her braids. Her dress was dirty from playing in the dirt by the gosling's nest, but the Queen didn't comment on it- she knew how excited she was about her new little pets.
"How was your day?" The King asked, standing so he could more easily pour water from a pitcher into his glass.
Anna passed him her own glass as soon as he was done filling his own. "Good! Really good- Vilde was shy yesterday, but she was better now that she was back in her nest. I put a few pieces of cloth in the bottom, and she'll only sit on one of them- it's kinda' funny."
The King and Queen nodded at her story, and she took off telling them about her day. They added comments every now and then, but mostly let her speak without interruption. After a while, Anna's stomach rumbling brought them back to the dinner table.
"Here, let me help you with that." The King offered, wrapping his hand around the handle on Anna's dinner lid. He lifted it, and immediately the princess was confused.
"What's . . . that . . ." She asked slowly, pointing to the meat on her plate. It wasn't that she had never seen it before, oh no. It was just . . . well, she didn't really want anyone to tell her what it was.
"Oh. Well it's-" The King stopped short, actually looking down to see what the chefs had prepared for them. He was confused for a moment, wondering why Anna was confused, before everything slid into place in his mind. He glanced at the Queen, who shrugged.
"Is it," Anna looked away from her food up to her parents. "a goose? The bird that Kai found was a goose?" She asked, looking from one parent to the other. They didn't say anything.
It took a few minutes for everything to click into place in her mind. It was almost like you could hear the gears turning in her head. Finally realization colored her face, and she shoved her chair away from the table. "You were going to feed me my babies' mother!?" She screamed.
"Anna-" The Queen was going to chisel her for her outburst, but she was already running out of the dining room. "Anna!" The Queen yelled after her instead.
Anna didn't know why she was so upset at them- they hadn't known what the chefs were going to cook; and the chefs had no way to know that Anna had just adopted orphaned goslings. At least she was sure they were orphaned now.
Anna pushed her way into the kitchen, and wondered if she should stomp on the chef's food as she past. She decided against it, and instead shoved the servant's door open. She quickly ran to the gosling's nest, where her preciouses were sleeping. Preciouses? She was surprised by her own wording. Sheesh, so fancy.
Lightly, she touched each of their feathers- trying not to disrupt them as they slept. "I'm sorry about your Mama." She mumbled, despite knowing they could not hear her nor would they understand.
Anna could hear someone step onto the grass behind her. She knew it was her Papa. She'd apologize to him, and return to her meal (though by no means was she eating the goose), and then she'd go to sleep.
But despite the little dinner mishap- she really was happy. Her goslings gave her someone to talk to.
"I hope you stay here forever." Anna mumbled, her eyes on Kailash's tiny form. The puff wiggled, as though she had heard Anna's request. The princess smiled, and then turned to face her father.
Five years later
"'Cause for the first time in forever," Anna swirled around in her coronation dress, her hair pinned to perfection. Her eyes landed on a familiar sight, and she continued to twirl towards her.
Anna kneeled down by Kailash- now a full grown goose with handsome brown feathers and babies of her own. Anna held her hands down so Kailash's goslings could climb on; glancing for her former pet's approval. "I won't be alone."
Anna smiled at the three babies that had climbed into her palms, and lifted them closer to her face. "I can't wait to meet everyone," She admitted. She gasped, realization crossing her features.
"What if I meet the one?" She looked at her grand-goslings, a bright smile crossing her features. She looked away, day dreaming about her perfect guy- just as one of the goslings honked to get her attention.
She grinned at the little guy, then at Kailash, still waiting for the return of her babies.
She set the goslings down again, waved at the goose, and continued on- twirling to continue her song. The goose watched her, before waddling towards her home nest.

Anna stood in front of the minister, hands almost shaking with sudden nerves. She glanced at her sister to see her waving at someone in the audience. Jealous rage flared in her for a moment, but only a moment. She heard her cue and removed her gloves, trying to stop the shaking in her hands.
Think about Elsa…you finally have a chance to get close to her again, she chanted in her mind, picking up the two baubles and turning. She glanced at them, a bit of frost forming from the contact. Elsa…, she chanted her sister's name as she listened to the priest speak. The frost receded and everything continued as it should have. When he went silent, she continued to hold the baubles as the crowd stood and addressed her as queen.
She replaced the objects and put her gloves back on before marching down the aisle and to the ballroom.
Later…
Elsa waited for Kai to introduce them, their cue to enter the ballroom. She looked out across the ballroom, surprised at all the people. She knew that there were a lot of people here for the coronation but spread out through the ballroom, they looked so much more…numerous.
"Queen Elsa, of Arendelle," Kai announced as Anna crossed the ballroom to stand in front of the thrones. "Princess Anna, of Arendelle," he continued, motioning towards where she was already supposed to be.
With a sharp gasp, Elsa walked quickly to the spot beside her sister. She waved a little when she stopped, spotting their seamstress. The crowd applauded and then turned back to the party.
"Anna…," she whispered, turning to her sister.
"What?" she bit in reply. Elsa sighed heavily.
"Look…about earlier…I didn't mean to be mean…I was just scared…," she explained softly.
"I know. But you could have tried harder not to sound that way."
"I know, and I'm sorry. I want to make things right between us, Anna…"
"Then why didn't you ever answer the door?"
"Because I didn't want to hurt you again," her answer was barely audible.
"What…?"
"I was afraid that without my powers under control, I'd hurt you again…," she answered, a bit louder.
"You don't think that never answering the door, and shutting me out didn't hurt?"
"That's not what I mean…I know I hurt you by shutting you out, but it was the only way Mama and Papa could think of to protect us both. Our cousin had powers too and she was kidnapped because of them. And I almost killed you, Anna."
"What are you talking about? I don't remember knowing that you had powers."
"Because your memories of my powers were taken away," she explained. An idea struck her. "The trolls…they can help us straighten this out! I think I remember how to get to them."
"Wait, so…I really was kissed by a troll?"
"Yes, we were playing in here and I accidently struck you in the head with my powers. Mama and Papa panicked and we took you to the trolls. The leader of them took away your memories of magic and replaced them with 'normal' memories."
Anna went silent, thinking that over. Elsa watched her sister warily, hoping that if Anna knew the truth they could move past all this and focus on the future. Sure, she herself was terrified of losing her sister because of her powers, but they couldn't lose each other when they were stuck in each other's bodies, could they? She hoped not.
"Your majesty," Kai said, jolting them both from their trains of thought. "The Duke, of Weasel-town."
"It's Weselton!" the duke snapped. "Duke of Weselton, your majesty." The small man made an elaborate bow. "As your closest partner in trade, I think it's only best I offer you your first dance as queen." He showed off a few 'moves' and then bowed, his hair piece coming off partially.
The sight caused both sisters to go into a small giggling fit. Elsa hoped that Anna could gracefully turn this down.
"Thank you, but I don't dance," she said between giggles. "But my sister does."
"No, I don't—"
"Excellent!" the duke exclaimed, taking Elsa's arm and dragging her to the dance floor. She barely saw her sister mouth an apology before she was lost in the crowd. Elsa swallowed a little and put her hands on her hips, simply swaying her hips with the music a bit as the duke danced around her.
His outrageous moves were attracting stares and she was starting to blush a little.
"Like an agile Peacock!" he practically shouted, jumping around her and making animal noises. She came close to putting her hands on her face in exasperation. "Speaking of…," he started.
Speaking of what? You were just being a lunatic and dancing like a crazy person, she thought to herself.
"So great to have the gates open," he continued. "Why did they shut them in the first place? Do you know the reason? Hm?"
"No," she answered quickly as he got on his tiptoes and leaned closer to her.
"No…all right, hang on!" he took Elsa's hand and she froze for a second, worried what he was going to do next. He abruptly bent her backwards from the waist, sending the world spinning. Everything settled in an upside down position. "They don't call me the little dipper for nothing!"
She caught sight of her sister through a gap in the crowd and made a face when she saw her laughing. Suddenly, she was upright and spinning.
"Like a chicken with the face of a monkey, I fly!" the duke jabbered, continuing to jump in circles around her, his hair piece flopping. Finally, the dance ended and Elsa got away from him, resuming her position at her sister's side. "Let me know when you're ready for another round, milady!" the duke called after her.
"Well, he was spritely," Anna noted with a laugh.
"Especially for a man in heels…," she agreed, lifting one of her feet awkwardly to make sure he hadn't done any damage when he stepped on her toes.
"So…what's the plan?"
"After the ball ends we go to the trolls and see if we can't fix this…"
"All right. And…the gates?"
"I'd like to keep them open but…," Elsa sighed a little.
"But what?"
"You may be able to handle my powers all right, but I barely have them under control…I don't know if I can take the risk…,"
"But Elsa, it's not that hard to do it…really. All I've had to think about really is—" Anna broke off, dropping her gaze.
"Anna…you're not the one that's had to live with the fact that you almost killed your sister with those powers…"
"But that doesn't mean we have to keep the gates closed. I can't live like that anymore, Elsa…"
"I'm sorry, Anna…but it's just how it has to be."
"No, I can't believe that. There has to be a way," Anna reached for her and Elsa pulled away.
"Excuse me," she whispered and started to leave.
"Anna, wait," Anna said, trying to stop her.
"I'll be back," she snapped, weaving through the crowd. Someone bumped into her and she stepped on her skirts, tripping and almost falling. Someone caught her by the hand and she blinked.
"Glad I caught you," Prince Hans said lightly, putting his flute of champagne on a passing tray.
"Prince Hans…," she answered with a smile as he helped her to her feet. "We really need to stop running into each other like this…"
"I at least wasn't the one that knocked you over this time," he said with a light laugh, extending his other hand. She took it and put a hand at his waist. They started waltzing around the room. "How are your hands?"
"They're fine. They stopped bleeding almost immediately," she answered. When the music switched to a different dance, they went aside and started talking.
She tried to only recount what her sister would have known, but the temptation to tell him the entire truth of the situation was surprisingly strong.
They left the ballroom and went out to the gardens. He finally told her that he had twelve older brothers, confirming her suspicions that he was Melody's great uncle.
"I had a feeling," she blurted after he told her that.
"What do you mean?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow.
"Oh…Princess Melody and I are sort of pen-pals…I met her when we were little. Before the gates were closed," she explained.
"Ah…so…are you and your sister close?" he asked as they got some Krumb Cake from the food tables and headed for a balcony.
"We were…but not anymore," she replied before sitting on the rail.
"So…I've never had this, do you just shove the whole thing in your mouth?" he questioned, sitting beside her.
"Yes, the whole thing," she laughed, popping her own piece of cake into her mouth. He did the same and she laughed again. "So, are you close with any of your brothers?"
"Not really, three of them pretended I was invisible for three years," he answered after swallowing his cake.
"Wow…Elsa and I were really close when we were little…but then one day she just shut me out and I never knew why…," she sighed, understanding her sister's side of their upbringing all too well.
"I would never shut you out…," he said, reaching for her hand. He'd long since removed his gloves and tucked them into his jacket pockets.
She smiled a little, putting her hand in his. He traced the healing scratches on her palm with his finger. A blush coloured her cheeks.
Meanwhile…
Anna was a little worried, but she didn't let it bother her as she greeted different dignitaries and politely refused dance offers. She'd left her post by the thrones and was roaming the crowd.
"Queen Elsa," an unfamiliar voice said lightly behind her. She turned to see a young woman and her male companion. "I've been trying to get a chance to talk to you all day!"
"All right…? And you are?" she asked softly.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, we haven't met at all yet! I'm Rapunzel, your cousin?"
"Oh right! My mother said that you were blonde, so…"
"It's fine, my hair changed colours when I lost my powers before Eugene and I got married," the princess explained.
"I see, well how are things going? I know we haven't really been much in contact since your marriage…," Anna trailed off, hoping that she got that right.
"It's understandable, though," Rapunzel sympathized. "I know it's hard, dealing with what happened…"
"Yeah…," she sighed, searching for a way to change the subject. "So…are you enjoying the party?"
"Sort of. It's our first formal thing since we got married," her cousin answered. "And Eugene's being a spoil sport."
"Am not!" The man whined. Anna laughed a little.
"Where's your sister?"
"She's around…I think she went for some fresh air," she answered.
Later…
Elsa laughed a little as she and Hans went back to the ballroom. She wanted to introduce Anna to him. He'd mentioned seriously courting her and eventually marriage, but she hadn't given him a straight answer, not knowing whether or not they'd be able to fix the whole body switch issue.
They weaved their way through the crowd and Elsa spotted her sister. She almost slipped up, but when they got close enough, she tried to catch Anna's attention.
"Elsa!" She waved. "I mean…Queen Elsa…," she corrected herself and gave a small curtsy when her sister turned, bringing a smile to her sister's face. Anna politely excused herself from her conversation and turned her full attention to Elsa and Hans.
Anna's face twisted a little in confusion, seeing Elsa touch Hans' arm. He'd put his gloves back on when they were on their way inside.
"Your majesty…," he said lightly, bowing.
"May I present, Prince Hans, of the Southern Isles," Elsa said regally, grinning.
"Nice to meet you," Anna replied, nodding a little in acknowledgement.
"I suppose this would be the best time to ask your blessing," Hans started. "To court your sister, that is."
"What?"
"I know it's sudden, but…," she trailed off.
"Anna….," her sister started. "Can we talk? Alone?"
"Sure," she answered, stepping away from Hans. He reached after her, but she shook her head a little, going with her sister to the side room.
"Elsa, what are you doing?" Anna asked harshly when they were alone.
"I didn't give him a straight answer…," she replied quickly. "I'm not going to make any big decisions like that before we know if we can fix this…"
"I can't keep this up much longer…," Anna whispered.
"Then we should end the ball and go to the trolls and see if we can fix this."
"And what if we can't? What if I made a horrible mistake with that potion…?"
"Then we'll make do…"
"And go back to shutting everyone out?"
"I don't know, Anna…I really don't know…"
"And what will you tell Hans if we fix this?"
"I'm not sure…I'll figure it out when it comes to that…," she sighed.
Anna sighed as well, folding her arms. Elsa reached for her on instinct, but she pulled away.
"Anna…"
"I just wanted us to be close again…like we were when we were kids…we were best friends…but you shut me out. Mama and Papa locked us away like lepers, all because you had these secret powers…!" Anna raged and snow started falling in the room.
"Anna…calm down…"
"No! I won't! You may have been okay with getting shut away but they locked me up too! I can't live like this anymore!"
Elsa remained silent. She knew she needed to calm her sister down, but the right words wouldn't come. After all the years apart, there was nothing she could do for her sister except hurt her even more. She reached again for her sister's hand.
Anna jerked away from her and her glove slipped off in Elsa's hand. Quickly, she tried to return the glove, but her sister continued moving away from her.
"Anna, you have to calm down…please…," she pleaded, trying to close the distance.
"No, Elsa, I won't calm down! You keep telling me to calm down, but you know exactly why I'm upset and you're not doing anything!"
"Well, what did you expect?! I wasn't allowed to speak to you except in formal situations for ten years!" Elsa snapped in return. "I was taught how to calm political debates, not my own sister…"
Anna shook her head a little and hurried back to the ballroom.
Meanwhile…
Anna folded her arms, trying not to cry. She passed Kai on her way out of the ballroom.
"The party's over, close the gates."
"Yes, your majesty," he answered, bowing and moving to tell the guards.
"Elsa, wait a second…," Elsa followed her, grabbing her arm gently. "Please, just hear me out…"
"Enough, Anna," she muttered, pulling away from her and trying to leave.
"No! Elsa, please just calm down and let's talk!"
"I said enough!" Anna whirled, swinging her bare hand out of habit. A stream of ice flew from her hand and formed an arch of spikes, barely avoiding the nearby guests. A collective gasp sounded through the ballroom, and Anna backed up against the door, fumbling for the handle.
"Sorcery…!" someone hissed. She saw her sister drop to her knees as she got the door open and ran out of the ballroom. She ran to the courtyard, planning to find her way to the trolls on her own to fix this.
The courtyard was crowded with people, all of them cheering for Elsa as she came into view. She picked up her skirts and noticed a bit of frost forming on the fabric. She tried to gently push her way through the crowd, muttering apologies as she went.
"Your majesty, are you all right…?" a woman, holding an infant, asked her, gently. She shook her head a little, backing away from the outstretched hand. She bumped into the fountain and automatically tried to steady herself with one hand.
The crowd gasped, a couple of people screamed, and a baby started crying. She glanced back to see that she'd frozen the fountain.
"No…," She whispered.
"Elsa, wait!" she heard her voice call. She shook her head, yanked the other glove off, and ran to a side exit. The crowd cleared a path for her as she fled. "Elsa!" her sister was catching up with her.
She stepped back, coming to the edge of the water. She continued backing up and the solid ground continued. She looked down to see that she was standing on ice. Worrying her lip, she lifted her skirts and ran across the fjord, the water freezing as her feet touched the surface. She made it to solid ground and unclipped her cloak, letting it fall as she continued running.

Some calculations!
The book Frozen II: The Magical Guide tells that Agnarr was 14 the day the Forest fell:-
Tumblr media
The Forest was locked up for about 34 years (34 years, 5 months and 23 days to be exact).
If Agnarr had been alive in F2, he would have been about 48 (14+34) years old.
Elsa is 24, and Anna 21 in F2.
Therefore Agnarr was around 24 (48-24) when Elsa was born, and around 27 (48-21) when Anna joined the Royal Family! (Quite young but defo even more common back in the 19th century)
Extra: And he was around 42 when he was lost in the Dark Sea (48-6, as the tragic event occurred 6 years before F2).
-
(I hate Math but yeah I dunno why I’m kinda thrilled) (*the power of Frozen*)

“It was getting to be around Christmas time and we had just put the girls to bed. Earlier that day, I had purchased some mistletoe in town just in case we found ourselves with a free moment without the girls. As we walked out of the girls room, I made my way to the closest doorway and pulled it out. Iduna looked at me with a raised eyebrow and said. "How long has that been in your robe pocket? Hopefully not a long period of time.” She then chuckled and joined me under the mistletoe. It had been awhile since we had a romantic moment to ourselves because the girls were often around and we were usually too tired after putting them to bed to do anything romantic. As we shared a long drawn out kiss, I could hear the sound of little feet on the hardwood floor and then a slightly heavier set running after the smaller one. We released a collective sigh as we heard. “And they all got married…” slip out of our youngest daughter’s mouth. Elsa, luckily had no interest in what we were doing and picked Anna straight up under her arms before carrying her back to their room. We finished our kiss before Iduna looked at me. “Well it looks like our girls are restless, Ill go single them a lullaby and they will be sleeping in no time. Go to bed my darling.” And of course, being the good husband that I am, I did exactly what she asked. But I was just happy that I was able to have a little bit of romance with my wife. Even if it was for only a minute or two. Every little bit counts. #agnarr #iduna #kingagnarr #queeniduna #frozenfanart #disneyrp #frozenrp #disneyart #elsafrozen #annafrozen #princessanna #princesselsa #queenelsa #icequeenelsa #arendelle #christmasfanfiction #disneychristmas #frozenchristmas #frozen #frozen2 #disneyfrozen https://www.instagram.com/p/CHiaieAlxs3/?igshid=usl7hbhtu1cu

Love Can Hold Up the World
youtube
Thank you for @the-spaztic-fantastic for beta-ing this extension of the deleted scene above from Frozen 2, and for always adding comments that make me laugh and think about these characters we love.
“Darling, I’ve been thinking,” Iduna said, turning to face him and grabbing both of his hands for support.  They had reached a tender agreement about traveling together, but it still felt like a bruised thing, this plan to put themselves in danger and not ask it of anyone else.  “It might be time to tell Anna about Elsa.  I can’t bear keeping her shut out anymore.  She’s maturing now. She can be responsible.”
Her voice was light, generous.  She didn’t accuse.  She didn’t remind him that she’d asked this same thing a year ago, and the year before that.  That she had once again seen Anna near Elsa’s door, her hand fisted, hesitant to knock, eyebrows knit in pain.
She’d learned how to be a diplomat in her time as queen.  If she cried, he would hug her close and promise to take care of it, but of course neither of them knew how.  When she was angry, he paced, the medals on his chest clinking together and she thought about how quickly a kingdom could dissolve into violence and chaos when a king was irate. It was a fate well known to them both, they had seen it before. She would not stoke his anger at the trolls or his fear for Elsa’s future.
Agnarr held her hands tightly but looked over her shoulder, through their open door and down the hallway where Anna had run after fiercely hugging them both, saying goodbye. “It’s not Anna I’m worried about.”
She saw his eyes drift to the wall they shared with Elsa, where the crackle of spreading ice woke them before her cries from nightmares which she told them about in gasping breaths, just out of reach from comforting hugs they ached to give.  Visions of trolls and townspeople tearing her apart as ice shot from her hands, unbidden. “What if we let them get close again and the feelings are too much for Elsa? Joy brings her powers out as strongly as fear.”
Iduna dropped one of his hands and turned towards the hallway. How many days had she walked past the portrait gallery to see Anna gazing at the portrait of Joan of Arc? Sometimes bouncing with excitement, sometimes lying on the floor, despondent.  Anna longed for the chance to show bravery in ways besides dealing with her loneliness. “Agnarr, if anyone can find a way to help her, it’s Anna.”
She didn’t say She might be the one who has to if we can’t find Ahtohallan.  If we find Ahothallan and it kills us.  If we leave them alone, even more alone than they are now.  But she thought about it.  She had thought about it every minute since they began packing their trunks, since the ship had been readied and the false itinerary given.
Agnarr smiled and reached for her hand again. “You may be right about that. There’s not much that girl can’t do.” He pulled Iduna into her arms and she sighed.
“Her love could hold up the world.”
“Lucky for the world.”  Iduna rested her head against Agnarr’s chest and as he hugged her she thought about luck and how little of it she had been given.  “We’ll tell her when we return.”
And what if we don’t return?
She didn’t give voice to her deepest fear.  Instead, she dropped his hands again and closed their door, locking it, knowing that too many doors had been locked for too long in this castle, but just now theirs needed to be.
She took his hand and kissed it, then took off her crown and laid it on the dresser, working her fingers through her hair so it fell down past her shoulders in waves.  She ran her hands down his buttons and then started at the top, moving slowly to let him catch up to what she wanted.
She’d learned this, too.  How to feel powerful and how to give them both hope and peace when it was hard to find.  Just now, on the eve of their departure, she wanted to feel like she could control their happiness or their future or even if they lived or died.  For a moment, they could make claims on one another with their hands and their mouths and their movement, and when his hands found the buttons at the back of her dress and worked on them with a practiced motion, she knew he wanted that just as much.

Fanfiction idea for Frozen 2:
Anna and Kristoff have a kid and during their baby's 1st birthday party, Hans attacks and Elsa loses control in her rage and kills Hans and accidentally hurts the baby, who then grows up with white hair like her Aunt. But Anna banishes Elsa because she now sees her sister as dangerous. They build a wall around Arendelle.
The baby grows up listening to stories about the white haired Ice Queen who watches over the Enchanted Forest. Anna gets really sick. The baby is now a teenager and is looking for a cure for her mother and seeks out Elsa for the waters of Otohollan, believing they would cure her.
Elsa isolated herself after her banishment and lives on her icy island alone (and of course she makes the place her own beautiful fortress). She hasn't been seen since the day Anna banished her.
However, when Elsa is found, she hasn't aged a day. She is Frozen in time, unable to age because she is a spirit.
Make Elsa save the girl from drowning in the waters trying to reach her. Then make Anna's daughter and Elsa go on some exciting adventure and bond and have some big dramatic reveal along the way that they're related.
Also, have Olaf there growing up with her. But he doesn't remember who she is because Elsa removed his memories. Elsa removed everyone's memories of her, besides Anna and Kristoff's.

Arendelle Adventures Chapter 3 - Big Sister
Read on AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/35770243/chapters/89197867
Series Summary: The adventures and mishaps of the princesses of Arendelle: Elsa and Anna. one-shots. Chapter Summary: Elsa isn't sure what a big sister is, even though she's about to be one.
Big sister. People have been saying that to Princess Elsa recently, though she wasn't really sure why.
"Elsa, you'll make a great big sister!"
"Are you excited to be a big sister?"
"Oh Elsa, you're going to be a big sister!"
It kind of irritated the three-year-old that no one bothered to explain to her what a sister actually was, and how she was a big one. Elsa was small, not big. How could she be a big sister if she were so small? She had wondered these thoughts a few months ago at something her Mama had called a "baby shower." This confused the princess too: there were no babies, and no showers. It was just a bunch of other women cooing over the Queen and giving her presents, most of which were clothes that were too tiny for even Elsa to wear. Elsa had snuck an outfit and tried to fit it onto one of her dolls, but the Queen took it back from her before she had the chance.
The only thing Elsa was sure of was that this "big sister" business had something to do with her Mama and her tummy. The Queen's stomach had gotten so large that she couldn't pick Elsa up anymore, much to the disappointment of the young girl. Sometimes the Queen would press Elsa's hand to a spot on her stomach, and it would move! Elsa always liked this, but whenever she would try to give the moving-tummy a snowflake or snowball, the Queen would stop her. This disappointed the girl again.
But now, on a chilly spring morning, Elsa had a chance to think over these thoughts again as nursemaids and midwives rushed about the castle. She had tried to stop one and show her an especially pretty snowflake she had made, but the nurse had just shooed Elsa away and kept going down the hall. The princess didn't understand why everyone was in such a hurry, and why no one would play with her. Everyone used to play with her, before all this "big sister" talk started.
Elsa pouted her lip and sat down at the window seat, pulling her knees up to her chest. Her Mama and Papa hadn't been at breakfast that morning, and Elsa hadn't seen them since last night. She wondered where they were, and when she had asked a maid, she had responded with another "big sister" comment. She clicked her shoes together and looked around, as if repeatedly turning her head from one side to the other would will someone to come talk to her.
It seemed to work, as the King rushed down the hallway, breezing past the foyer where Elsa sat. "Papa!" She yelled after him, happy to see one of her parents. He backed up and glanced at his daughter, then back down the hallway, towards his own room. He smiled before turning and sitting down beside his daughter on the window seat.
"Papa, where's Mama?" Elsa asked as he sat down, crawling into his lap. Her headband had been knocked sideways, and the King straightened it. He smiled at Elsa and brushed her bangs to the side before answering.
"Mama is about to have a baby, Elsa. Do you know what a baby is?" Elsa nodded her head up and down. She had seen babies many times when they walked around the kingdom. Elsa thought they looked like her dolls, except they were real. One specific baby had really chubby cheeks that looked perfectly squishy, but the Queen had pulled her away before Elsa could touch him. Elsa didn't really understand how her mother was going about getting a baby, but Elsa didn't really care. She was just excited she would have a baby in the castle, whose chubby cheeks she could poke all she wanted.
"Well," The King continued, leaning his back against the cool glass window so he could more easily look at Elsa. "When the baby is born-" Elsa didn't know what "born" meant but decided to keep her mouth shut. "-we're going to need to take good care of the baby. You'll take good care of the baby, right Elsa? Just like Mama and Papa will?"
Elsa nodded again. She didn't know how much work babies could be, but from the serious tone in her father's voice, she knew that taking good care of it would be important. The King smiled at Elsa again, wrapping his arms around her in a kind of sideways hug. "And when the baby is born, you'll be a big sister. That means you'll have a little brother or sister to play with, when he or she is big enough."
Elsa scrunched her face up trying to hide her excitement. The King laughed at her expression, and kissed the top of her head. There weren't any other kids in the castle for Elsa to play with, and when her parents were busy it got kind of lonely. She wasn't sure what sister and brother meant, but she knew she was getting one, and that was good enough for her.
The King began telling Elsa all about how babies are fragile and they have to be held carefully, and how Elsa couldn't try to blast the new baby with snow right away. He explained how she would have to be really quiet when she first met her brother or sister, and Elsa agreed to all his terms. She wanted to make sure the baby was safe and happy, as well as squishy cheeked.
Just as the King and Elsa got into game of "I Spy," a nurse ran into the hall and curtsied hurriedly. Elsa and the King both starred at her, Elsa dropping her hands (which had been about to frost up her father's shoulder) into her lap. "Your majesty," She sounded out of breath from rushing down the hall. "It's time."
Those words had no effect on Elsa, but the same could not be said for the King. He leapt from the window seat, leaving Elsa alone again. He turned quickly and planted a kiss on her temple. "The next time I see you you'll be a big sister." He said with a smile. Then he straightened his spine and quickly followed the maid down the hallway.
Elsa blinked in surprise and confusion, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. It's time? What is it time for? Why did Papa leave? The princess wondered, jumping from the seat before leaning forward to look down the hallway. She watched as the King entered his bedroom, firmly closing the door behind him.
Elsa returned to the window seat and laid down, letting her arm dangle off of it. Why was everyone acting so strange today? Was it about the baby? Yes, yes probably that. Elsa tapped the window with the hand that wasn't dangling and let her power send frost up the glass.
It had probably been almost an hour before the King returned to Elsa, who had dozed off on the window seat. He shook her shoulder lightly until she woke, and gave her a bright, tired smile.
"Elsa?" He asked, quietly and calmly. "Would you like to meet your baby sister?"
The princess was fully awake now, and nodded. She took her father's hand and he led her down the hallway to his and the Queen's room. Maids and nurses were coming out of the room slowly, all cooing and smiling at Elsa. She heard one of them say another "big sister" comment as she passed. As they walked, Elsa suddenly felt shy. Of the new baby or the nurses, she wasn't sure. She leaned into her father as they walked, and he glanced down at her.
Finally, her father pushed open the door and together they entered the well lit room. Elsa's face brightened when she saw her mother propped up on the pillows. Her dark hair was in tangles and her face held a look of exhaustion, but it was mixed with a look of joy.
"Mama!" Elsa exclaimed, as quietly as she could manage. She let go of the King's hand and rushed to the bedside. When she got closer she realized that her mother was holding a small blanket in her arms. Elsa's eyes locked onto it as she neared the shy feeling returning. So it was the new baby she was shy of. She touched her mother's arm lightly, her eyes flickering between the Queen and the blanket.
The King walked up behind Elsa and picked her up lightly. Elsa looked up at him as he set her on the bed next to her mother. The King and Queen smiled at each other, then at Elsa.
"Sweetie," The Queen said, rearranging the bundle so that a tiny pink face was visible. "This is Anna. Your sister."
Elsa glanced at both her parents with a look of almost fear in her eyes before she leaned over to look at the baby.
Anna's tiny face was pink and scrunched up, her eyes tightly closed from sleep. Two tini tiny fists were on either side of her slightly chubby face. She really was tiny. She looked like those baby clothes at the shower would be to large on her tiny body. A puff of frizzy red-ish blond hair stuck up in random directions that made Elsa giggle. Anna was adorable.
Elsa touched Anna's hand lightly, and the baby stirred. Elsa pulled her hand back immediately, afraid she had done something wrong, but her parents just smiled at her. "It's alright Elsa." The Queen reassured, lifting one hand off of Anna so she could smooth down Elsa's hair. "Do you want to hold her?"
Elsa's face brightened and she nodded again. She held her arms out awkwardly, and the King laughed. "Let me help you." He said, moving behind Elsa and rearranging her arms more suitable to hold the baby in.
When Elsa was passed the baby, The Queen never fully took her hands off Anna; to be sure Elsa wouldn't drop her. Elsa didn't mind, she appreciated the help. Elsa smiled down at her baby sister, a strange feeling stirring in her stomach. "I haven't said hi to her yet." Elsa noted, looking up at her Mama. The Queen pointed her chin at Anna, laughing lightly at the strange request. "Then introduce yourself, sweetie."
Elsa sucked in a breath before she spoke. "Hi Anna." The older Princess whispered. "I'm your sister, Elsa."

Chapter 5: Blue Eyes
By the time the prince and princess had sat down for breakfast, side by side and across from the king and queen, the sun shined with near blinding light onto the long dining table.
Anna ate at a lightning pace, barely managing the façade of propriety as she buttered her toast furiously with a knife and fork before swallowing it almost whole.
Hans hid a grin behind his polite smile, and took smaller bites in-between sips of tea.
“My, you must have worked up quite an appetite in the mountains!” Iduna exclaimed. “Didn’t Anette pack you enough to eat?”
Hans leaned forward to reply, but Anna beat him to the punch. “Yeah, but you know camp food is like,” she said through a mouthful of food, swallowing it when her father shot her a warning look. She dabbed a napkin at her lips with uncharacteristic primness, and then turned her nose up. “If you’d just given us a little more time up there, we could have done some berry picking.”
She glanced at Hans, and clarified: “Perfect time of year for it.”
Agnarr tried to frown through his amusement. “According to Anette, she packed enough for a whole caravan. Not to mention the bottle of Spanish red she noticed was missing from the cellars.”
His daughter went red. “Papa…”
His lips tweaked with a smirk. “Don’t worry. I won’t tell on you.” At Iduna’s raised brow, he cleared his throat and added in a sterner tone: “Not today, I mean. But next time—”
“There won’t be a ‘next time,’” Iduna cut in, her calm smile making Anna gulp. She turned her attention to the prince. “Now, Hans—why don’t you tell us more about the trip? Did you enjoy yourself?”
He nodded. “Immensely. The beauty there is…” He paused, his eyes lighting up. “Unmatched.”
“It was nice and quiet, too,” Anna commented, and then added with a frown: “Except for some of the company we had to keep.”
Iduna’s brow rose. “Oh?”
“That guide – the young one, Kristoff – he was a real brute, Mama,” Anna complained, setting down her utensils for the first time that morning to cross her arms. “So sarcastic, and rude, and… well, nothing like Hans, that’s for sure.”
Agnarr’s smirk widened. “Is that so? I’m quite surprised to hear it, since he came highly recommended by Master Andersen.” He looked at Iduna. “How was it that he described the young man? ‘No-nonsense, but knowledgeable’?”
The princess huffed. “Yeah, that sounds like him alright.”
Iduna’s eyes twinkled. “What did you think of him, Hans?”
The prince hesitated. “I’d say he had a… unique sort of charm about him.”
Agnarr and Iduna laughed into their tea while Anna rolled her eyes.
“In all honesty,” Hans continued, “I had a wonderful time up there. Reminded me of some of my most peaceful nights at sea.” He paused for effect, glancing at Anna. “I’d like to go back as well.”
Anna beamed, but Iduna and Agnarr exchanged cautious looks. “You’ll have plenty of chances to after the wedding,” said the king.
His daughter frowned. “Papa,” she began, impatience evident in her quirked lips, “this was the first time in ages that I got to leave the castle grounds without you, and – as you can see for yourself – everything went fine. Not a hair on either of our heads was harmed. Right, Hans?”
The prince gave a short nod, sensing the growing irritation of her father. “That’s true.”
“Right. So,” she continued, her hands knitting together in her lap, “why not let us go back, just for a few hours this time? We don’t even have to go that high up. Just enough so that we can find some berries, and—”
“Absolutely not!”
Seeing everyone’s wide eyes trained on him, Agnarr went flush, his fingers shaking as they came to grasp his teacup. “I’m sorry, Anna,” he began again, tempering his tone, “but it’s just not possible, given the demands on our—your time for the rest of the week.”
“But Papa…”
“Anna, please,” Iduna whispered to the princess, sending her a hard look before placing her hand over her husband’s. “Don’t you see you’re distressing your father? That’s enough, now.”
Anna relented at this, sinking back down in her chair with crossed arms. A dark, immeasurable gloom settled over her, and silence soon followed.
