I think having a flat affect and being kind of a downer are both fine actually. I can't even count how many times I've been having a perfectly normal conversation and the other person went "Why are you being rude all of a sudden" and I'd be like "When did I say anything rude" and they'd be like "Oh, what you said was perfectly nice, you just didn't say it with enough enthusiasm." No. I do not accept this.

People will really be out here like "this new medication is great and helpful it just has a few side effects that are totally normal and shouldn't mean I should stop taking them..." and then describe side effects that would get you involuntarily hospitalized if they came from a mental illness instead of medication.

For disability pride month I gotta tell y'all

I have never seen an actual anti-recovery person in the wild

I've only ever seen abled people shit themselves at the sight of a disabled person

Especially mentally ill/neurodivergent people

And abled gays being pretty silent about conversion therapy when it's used on autistic people

And on the other end disabled people being honest about their struggles

And ableds acting like we've smacked them in the face (for existing)
