In "things that will now drive me MAD FOREVER," I ended up on Lynn Hall's page on the ponymadbooklovers site again, whereupon I was reminded of the Mystery Book that is Rodeo Wife. I came upon this page years ago, and did my best to put it out of my mind because all they said about it was a "publisher: Touchwood Press?" and "I have seen it referred to a couple of times, but cannot find any more details, other than it is probably an adult book, possibly horse-orientated." Given that basic (small!) cover image, I was like, "I'm not convinced that's a real book, at least not by the same Lynn Hall." (even though Touchwood was definitely the name of her estate/kennels)

But then of course last year I found a copy of the self-published book on the left, and when you look at them side by side there is no question that Rodeo Wife does exist, or at least did at one time. The cover photo of the former was taken by her sister so I'm going to assume the woman is a relative or someone she knows, since it looks like it could very well be the same woman posing for the second cover.

The maddening difference between them is that there truly is NO reference to Rodeo Wife on the entire internet outside of that one page, at least not that I can find. No summary, no release year (though I assume 90s), no other pictures, no copies for sale or in libraries.

And I want.

Infinity Inc. (1984)

I think it deserves to be included. But really I love all the characters so much and it's such a cozy read. I feel like no one reads it because it's old and JSA-adjacent (BOO! Read for the old men you cowards!) but I really cannot overestimate how much the characters are likeable and fun and also how mad you get at what DC did to them afterwards and also WHAT DC DID TO ROY THOMAS WHILE IT WAS PUBLISHING, literally treating him so badly and then going ""well sales aren't growing and are staying the same so I guess it's cancelled :/"" like THEY DIDN'T FORCE HIM TO REMOVE HALF THE STUFF THAT MADE IT SO GOOD IN THE FIRST PLACE. Also Roy Thomas wrote the best bisexual man being in love with opposite gendered siblings story ever and I know it was an accident but like... I need more people to read it so I can feel validated about this...

She was selected as an Honorable Mention choice in January 2023 for the "unofficial" official Top-25 all-time favorite SF models list published on vs120shound over most of the first month of this year. Here, in this SF Hall-of-Fame clip, Charlee Lynn is the very definition of smoking satisfaction. We've seen women in love with the cigarette they are smoking yet that is rare to behold. And that certainly is not this clip of Charlee, which was released on Elegant Smoking -- a sister SF website within the Smoking-Models family of websites -- on July 28, 2009. It is pure smoking contentment for Charlee with her Virigina Slims 120s Menthols Luxury Lights. She wasn't on the verge of an orgasm here, no. She simply conveyed how rewarding and enriching her habit of smoking cigarettes throughout the day is for her on a consistent basis.
