in these trying times (luis not being in antman 3) I would like to take this moment to remind everyone that luis wasn’t just scott’s best friend, he was also a love interest. he was scotty’s best bro/cellmate, picked him up from prison & couldn’t stop smiling, stood by his side for years, started a business w him, & developed a close relationship with cassie. he said “I love it when he gets cocky” about scott and called himself daddy (”daddy don’t get scared”) to scott. they were literally in a domestic au as roommates for two years in a charming victorian in san fran, and the worst thing luis could say about scott under truth serum is that he didn’t like how he did the dishes. I will not let marvel erase the fact that they are cellmates to soulmates !!!

while Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania wasn’t the best marvel movie, it certainly was ridiculously entertaining! and it was actually funny! not just millennial humor. 4/5 stars

The antman movie was good except that it wasn't an Antman movie. It wasn't about Scott and his friends and family. Yes it was about Hope and hank and Janet, but his actual family was hardly in it, or not at all. Cassie was there, but where was cassies mom and Paxton? Where were Luis, Dave and Kurt? The people that actually have been a part of Scott's life and supported him through prison and house arrest. Not to make it fast and furious, but its not an antman movie without family and his family wasn't there

I feel so bad for luis (antman) bc our man is fully aware he is down bad for scott. bestie fell in love at first meet, wrote home to abuelita about him from prison, the whole shebang. he picked scott up from prison recounting all the horrible things that had happened in the last few months, but couldn't stop smiling bc omg its scottie. he said (about scott) 'I love it when he gets cocky', called himself daddy to scott, loves cassie so much, started a business with scott, and moved IN with scott for two years (omg they were roommates) while he was under house arrest. under truth serum the worst thing he could say about scott was that he doesn't like the way he does the dishes. he is down BAD bad. luis is in a fully dedicated long-term relationship with scott, and the other man doesn't even notice.

Idk why I thought that antman would start with maybe a dream of Scott playing with little Cassie and them having fun and then Scott waking up everything is different because he missed 5 years and the movie would show his sadness and guilt over missing so much time, and just trying to spend as much time with her as possible now that he had the chance. And then I thought they'd get sucked into the quantum realm and Kang would get him to do whatever and in exchange he'd put Scott back in time before the 5 years ago, he wouldn't get stuck and miss 5 years so that it would be like he was there the whole time, and he'd be able to see his little girl grow up, and the plot of the movie would be Scott and Cassie having to come to terms with having missed 5 years together and that it didn't mean they couldn't move on and still be family and then Scott and Cassie would have that moment and we, the fans, would get to mourn the relationship he lost and be able to move on with them. Silly me I thought we'd get a moment like that
