Louie Duck Headcanons
Pairings: Louie Duck x Fem! Reader Aged Up + Tw: Slight Angst? Maybe?
Tumblr media
Louie isn't good at expressing his feelings in words. He's much better with his actions
He teaches you all the scams and tricks just so you don't fall for any of them
If anyone tries to scam or trick you, he'll make sure they pay [Ref. Season 1 Episode 9 "The Impossible Summit of Mt. Neverrest!"]
He values your opinion (Though he would never tell you that he does. It's just the little things)
He tries to impress you a lot & he loves when you praise him
He slowly gains a trust towards you that's even higher than the one with his brothers. He trusts you with his feelings in a way that makes him vulnerable
"I think you're a stunning woman, Y/n." He looks at you; Like really looks at you. He had never seen you in such a light, always saw you as a... well, not a woman. But now he can't deny it, you were a woman, and he hated it. You were different now and he couldn't get you out of his mind now. Why was he bothered by it now? He had never been phased by you before, but now he's thinking of everything he says and does- This was stupid, you're his best friend, but oh my god, why is that guy hitting on you?
Louie's never really been a jealous guy- or that's what he says
He hates the growing feeling in his chest when people hit on you
But he doesn't own you- Hell, you're not even dating, so he can't tell you not to flirt back, but god he wishes he could
You're his best friend, so he doesn't even have anyone to tell about these feelings
He'd tell his brothers, but he feels like they'd just make fun of you
"Are you okay?" Louie looks up at you, confused, "What?" "You're being weird..." "Weird?" "Yeah. I feel like you're avoiding me or something." He shakes his head, but he's lying. To you and to himself. He HAS been avoiding you. Not necessarily because of you, but because he's scared of his feelings, and he doesn't want to confront his feelings. "No... Just been busy." It's a lie. You know it. He knows it. A part of him hopes you bring up the topic of feelings. Just confess, that's all he needs, your confession. Tell him you have a crush on him, then he'll tell you he feels the same. But you don't. "Okay, if you say so," You then turn and leave. He feels as if he's just lied to the gates of heaven. Maybe if he had been honest, told you he loves you more than anything in the world, things would have been different. You could date, kiss, cuddle, but not now. Not yet. Maybe in the future. Yeah, the future.

Tumblr media
Wanted to try my hand at designing some slightly older duck kiddos!!! Headcanons and insane ramblings under the cut:
I designed these to be around 14-15, so early high school age (y'know in a hypothetical scenario where they actually end up going to high school). I imagine they still adventure with Scrooge and the fam, just moreso on the weekends (cut to Huey on the floor of the Sunchaser frantically trying to finish his biology homework while they're being shot at by sky pirates). Donald and Della are also both a part of the school PTA. Nobody else in the PTA is happy about this. Now for individual headcanons:
Huey:
Straight A student that's kinda neurotic about his grades, will freak out if any of them drop to a B.
I like to think of his hat as his comfort item so he still has the same one and if it was up to me he would also wear it to adulthood. even if a grown ass man in a lil baseball cap looks silly.
He's sooo mad about Dewey being taller than him lol.
Dewey:
Solid B student with the occasional C.
Couldn't join the drama club and the basketball team at the same time so he chose the drama club (the actual reason is that he tried out for the basketball team and didn't make it but he won't admit that). He still likes to carry around a basketball and practice on the court by himself.
Grows cheek fluff like the others he just cuts his off out of insecurity.
He's the tallest.
Louie:
Has pretty shitty grades, not because he's not smart, but because he doesn't really try (I mean, kid already has it made, why bother?).
Still wears the same green hoodie every day like he did as a kid but this time it's a little bit bigger and baggier. Does he wear the same clothes underneath too???? We will never know.
He's the shortest.
Webby:
Also a straight A student like Huey but seemingly puts in way less effort than him (which bothers Huey greatly).
Has to carry all her supplies in her arms because she's not allowed to bring a bag to school anymore (she kept trying to bring weapons in. Not because she planned on using them, but because you can never be too prepared.)
In at least 5 different clubs, probably started like 3 of them.

10 Best Serialized Cartoons
Tumblr media
This day and age is amazing for cartoon fans because we have many different types of cartoons to enjoy! Whether we prefer serialized or episodic, there is a bunch from both worlds for us! Many typically lead to one side, and while I love episodic cartoons, serialized ones are my favorite! In this blog, I will highlight my 10 best serialized cartoons!
10. Sym-Bionic Titan
Tumblr media
I am opening this list up by discussing an underrated gem that deserved way better! Sym-Bionic Titan is a series that ran from 2010 to 2011 for only 20 episodes. The series revolved around Lance, Ilana and Octus who all left their planet Galuna due to these creatures called the Mutraddi consuming it. They arrived on Earth, and blended in as normal. The series gets the name from when the three combine. When this occurs, they form the Sym-Bionic Titan. Now, this series is truly amazing - we get amazing writing along with amazing characters and the artstyle is beautiful! Sadly, Sym-Bionic Titan has not been treated fairly, and due to this, it has a pretty short runtime, but it is still awesome!  You can watch Sym-Bionic Titan on iTunes!
9. Motorcity
Tumblr media
Motorcity is one of the few shows that I love, but I can’t help but feel upset every time I watch it. The reason for it is because of how badly it was treated (see my other blogs for what I mean by that). Motorcity was a series which ran from 2012 to 2013 for a season. Motorcity revolves around a group of six who call themself the Burners. The Burners share the goal of stopping the evil billionaire and ruler of Detroit named Abraham from taking over Motorcity, a small part of Detroit which he is trying to take over. The Burners have six members - Mike (the leader), Julie (an insider trying to get information from Abraham), Texas (the muscle), Chuck (the tech guy), Dutch (the smart one) and Jacob (the older member who mentors them). This series had lots to enjoy - the characters, the plot and the series sometimes got introspective which added a lot to it for me. Motorcity was a great series that deserved better, and I am sure that if it got promoted properly by the network, it would be featured on more people’s 10 best serialized cartoons lists! You can watch Motorcity on iTunes!
8. Ducktales
Tumblr media
This is another one of the many Disney cartoons that had made me into a huge fan. Ducktales was a series that ran for 3 seasons and 69 episodes from 2017 to 2021. It was about Donald Duck, his uncle Scrouge and his three nephews, Huey, Louie and Dewey who essentially go on treasure hunting related adventures. Each season has a different arc, with each providing a different sort of adventure to the series. The series has much to love - we are introduced to great characters, a great story and fantastically written humor. While many reboots fall flat, Ducktales was one of the reboots that hit the nail and exceeded my expectations! You can watch Ducktales on Disney Plus!
7. Steven Universe
Tumblr media
I am sure many will agree with me when I introduce one of the cartoons of the 2010s that pushed boundaries and helped increase representation - Steven Universe! Steven Universe ran for 5 seasons from 2013 to 2019, and had a total of 160 episodes. The series revolved around Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven - The Crystal Gems. They were essentially alien warriors who protected the world from any sort of peril. One catch to them was that Steven was a half human who got the Gem side from his mother and the human side from his father. Steven Universe’s plot would continue to progress as the series went on. There was a lot to love about the series - the color choice was beautiful, the characters were amazingly done and the series helped increase representation by pushing boundaries. Steven Universe is definitely a strong series and one that was impactful! You can watch Steven Universe on Hulu!
6. Teen Titans
Tumblr media
This is a classic from many of our childhoods…I had to include it on here for sure! Teen Titans ran for a total of 5 seasons and 65 episodes, and the series ran for 3 years from 2003 to 2006. The series centered around five superheroes calling themselves the Teen Titans. The group consists of Robin (the leader), Beast Boy (has the power to morph into an animal), Starfire (an alien princess), Cyborg (a cyborg) and Raven (a goth girl with telekinesis). The series has many different arcs, with each arc focusing on a different character. The series had so much that I took away from it: we had awesome characters who are all iconic and unique in their own ways, great voice acting to back up these characters and an amazing soundtrack. Teen Titans is truly amazing, and it is still iconic up to this day. You can watch Teen Titans on iTunes, Google Play or Amazon!
5. Avatar: The Last Airbender
Tumblr media
Now, I am moving back to a cartoon that was definitely a bit older than the previous entries, and one that was clearly a standout from its time! Avatar the Last Airbender was a series which ran from 2005 to 2008 for a total of 3 seasons and 61 episodes. The series revolves around the Avatar, Aang who is supposedly the only person who can master all four elements and restore peace after the fire nation attacked. The avatar was found by two siblings from the water tribe, Katara and Sokka, who travel with him to different nations so that he can master all four elements and defeat the fire lord, Ozai. This series had much to love - my favorite aspect was the story. Despite having an intense story, the humor also made the series for me. Finally, the artstyle won me over. I loved the anime-esque artstyle this series provided! Avatar: The Last Airbender was definitely an amazing series, and it’s no secret why it’s so loved today! You can watch Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix!
4. Detentionaire
Tumblr media
Ah yes, now I move back to the 2010s…to a series that blew my mind when I had first seen it with it’s very intricate mystery! Detentionaire was an animated series which ran from 2011 to 2015 and had 4 seasons of 53 episodes. Detentionaire was about a high schooler named Lee Ping who gets framed for a huge prank on the first day of high school, and gets detention for a whole year. He sneaks out every day to figure out who set him up, and while the series starts off with him interacting with different groups at school to see who set him up, he eventually finds out that there are secrets hidden deep beneath the school that could put the entire world in harm. He also finds out that he and his bloodline are connected to everything that is going on. This series is amazing - my favorite thing about this series is definitely the progression that we go through with each episode. Furthermore, the characters are all enjoyable and the overall mystery is just so fun to try solving! Not only is the mystery fun to try solving during the first watch, but the writers also put in little hints regarding what’s to come later on, making rewatching the series very satisfying! Detentionaire is truly one of my favorite cartoons of all time, and while it is definitely underrated, I am happy it still has a fandom! You can watch Detentionaire on the YouTube channel Retro Rerun, or on Tubi!
3. Gravity Falls
Tumblr media
As I mentioned earlier, I am a huge Disney fan! At this point of the blog, don’t expect any non-Disney shows. Anyways, to start this Disney run off, I would like to give attention to Gravity Falls! Gravity Falls was a series which ran from 2012 to 2016 for a total of 2 seasons and 40 episodes. Gravity Falls was about two twins named Dipper and Mabel who visit their grunkle, Stan, at a town full of mysteries known as Gravity Falls. In this town, Stan owns a tourist trap known as the Mystery Shack, but aside from the “mysteries” in the Mystery Shack, Dipper hopes to uncover the true mysteries of Gravity Falls as he finds out that Gravity Falls us not what it appears to be. With the help of Mabel and two Mystery Shack employees named Soos and Wendy, Dipper aims to uncover the big underlying mystery behind Gravity Falls. Gravity Falls was definitely a well thought out and unique show. Like Detentionaire, it had a great mystery and was fun to rewatch as there are lots of hints sprinkled in the earlier episodes. Furthermore, the characters were all really entertaining and the pacing was really fluid and made sure every episode was engaging without running into the plot too fast. Gravity Falls was truly an amazing show, and despite seeing so many awesome cartoons after it ended, Gravity Falls has remained in my top 3 since. You can watch Gravity Falls on Disney Plus!
2. The Owl House
Tumblr media
Now, this is a show that really continued pushing the boundaries like how Steven Universe did. The Owl House is a series running from 2020 and still running. It currently has 2 seasons of 40 episodes, and is expected to get one more season containing three specials. The Owl House is about a girl named Luz who unexpectedly ends up in a new world by the name of Boiling AIsles after finding a portal. In this island, she meets a witch named Eda who helps train her to become a witch. Now, I love The Owl House. The series has awesome animation, and awesome characters to back these characters up. Furthermore, the LGBTQ representation in this series is a huge plus for the series. It truly is awesome, and it definitely deserved better. You can watch The Owl House on Disney+ or Disney Now!
1. Amphibia
Tumblr media
Anyone who has been following me for a while probably knows this…Amphibia is not only my favorite serialized cartoon, but my favorite cartoon of all time! Amphibia ran from 2019 to 2022 for a total of 3 seasons and 58 episodes. Amphibia is about a girl named Anne Boonchuy who, along with her friends, Marcy Wu and Sasha Waybright steal a magic box. This box ends up transporting the three friends to the magical world of Amphibia, which is a world full of frogs. In this series, Anne has the goal of finding her two friends and getting back home. However, along the way, she faces many different challenges both in the forms of monsters and her own inner struggles, and she finds out that not everyone is who she really thinks they are. Now, I love Amphibia. We have a bunch of loveable characters, we have some huge twists and we have a very unique and interesting concept. Amphibia is such an amazing series, and I am so happy that it became a part of my life! You can watch Amphibia on Disney Plus or Disney Now!
Well, these were my 10 best serialized cartoons! Which ones do you agree with? Which ones do you disagree with? Are there any you would add? Feel free to like and comment your thoughts and follow me for more as I post regular cartoon blogs!

Disneytoon: Scrooge McDuck —Aesthetic
Tumblr media
Scrooge McDuck's Character & Personality
Scrooge is a Scottish man who's "the richest duck in the world". He's Donald's miserly uncle. The business tycoon banker is also Huey, Dewey and Louie's great uncle. Scrooge earned his wealth through years of hard work, well-utilized intelligence, perseverance and extreme thriftiness. He's an adventurer and opportunist. As a treasure hunter, Scrooge has gone to exotic corners of the world in search of wealth. His expertise and lucrative business methods have put him leagues beyond his competition. Scrooge carries this reputation with pride. He has a great love for various riches. Thus, Scrooge is frugal. He goes to great lengths to spend as little money as possible. In putting much time and dedication into increasing his wealth, he's somewhat of a lone cheapskate. Cold and nearly unforgiving, Scrooge is protective of his fortune. He rarely hesitates to use violence against those who provoke his ire. As such, Scrooge is extremely mistrustful of anyone trying to enter his office. For a long time, he practically lived alone and had little contact with his family after gaining wealth. This partially plays into his bitterness. Over time, Scrooge slowly opened himself up to his four nephews and became more compassionate with them. He's still greedy, hot-tempered and an imposing figure at times. However, Scrooge is essentially good-hearted and well-meaning. He values honesty and fair play, believing great fortune should be squarely earned. While Scrooge can be selfish at times, he'll never leave someone behind in urgent need. Beyond his riches, his exploits provided valuable lessons in practical and moral sense. With age, Scrooge became wise and knowledgeable. He regularly puts this wisdom to use when raising his nephews and shows pride in their eagerness to learn the value of a dollar.

Oooo for the drabble thing how's about
"Would you kill me if I sent you flowers?"
and you know this just oozes scroldie 😆
Yes, it most certainly does!! 😁 And thank you for the prompt!
Happy (belated) Valentine's Day, and I hope you enjoy this! 💜

_____
The Love Language of Nature
Want to send a special message to your Valentine? Say it with flowers!
Goldie’s eye caught on the flier taped to the inside of the window in front of her. She’d been walking through downtown Duckburg, between errands, heist-planning, and errands for heist-planning, doing some window-browsing. Every window display was making her painfully aware of the upcoming holiday, yet she still took time to take note of things she couldn’t help but want to get for her special someone. Because of course she would.
The flower arrangements displayed before her were admittedly beautiful, and Goldie had seen plenty to compare around the world in her years. But these were close, were here, and the store offered free delivery with purchase if booked a week or more before the big day.
And the flier’s implications were making it all the more tempting. It listed a whole slew of flowers, and their special, hidden meanings.
She wasn’t the best with words, she knew that; maybe flowers were her love language?
Browsing through the list still, she pulled out her phone and asked Siri (Louie had given her a smartphone 101 walkthrough a while ago, insisting that she needed to “up her tech game to at least the basics, c’mon” if she was going to pull off schemes in the modern age, and especially with him) to call Scrooge. She couldn’t wait around for him to answer a text (which she was very good at, thank you very much) lest she lose her nerve.
It took him three rings to answer.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Sourdough. Would you kill me if I sent you flowers?”
“That depends, are they poisonous?” Scrooge asked, not missing a beat.
There was an elevator ding in the background on his end, then more of an open din, and Goldie knew he was at the Money Bin. She automatically turned to the behemoth structure in the distance, as if it would amplify their conversation, and her ensuing indignation.
She let out an offended squawk. “Hey! No they are not, thank you, but if you’re gonna be like that, then never mind!”
He laughed, and the sound reminded her why she did want to send the flowers, darn him. “Hey, it wouldn’t be the first time,” he unfortunately had to point out.
“Yeah, well...”
So sending him a bouquet of lilies, tulips, and lupine from a mythic beast’s wedding from the Underworld to rid herself of a curse hadn’t been her finest hour.
He lived.
“Would you kill me if I sent you flowers?” Scrooge asked, reversing the question.
A blush bloomed through her cheeks instantly. “I...n-no...” So much for not being cursed - her heart was getting softer by the second these days, it seemed.
“Then there’s your answer, dear. Look at you, being so thoughtful.”
Goldie’s brain was ready to self-combust at that, but she had to recover some of her dignity as this call came to a close. A quick, stabilizing breath, and- “Yeah, yeah, just try to forget this conversation ever happened, Sourdough. I’ll talk to you later.”
“Sounds grand.” There was a squeak of his old desk chair as he sat down. “I love you.”
“Love you, too.”
Despite the teasing, the warm smile was what remained as Goldie hung up and scanned over the flower list once more before strolling into the flower shop. The air was intoxicating with lovely, fresh scents - heck, all flowers were poisonous if they made her feel like this, this...light, giddy, and airy, and despicably drunk with love.
“Hey there, welcome to Rhoda’s Dendrons! Anything I can help you with today?” the young duck with curly black hair behind the front counter asked.
Goldie’s roving gaze snapped to her as she approached. She tapped a finger on an identical flier from the window that was laminated and taped to the counter’s glass top. “Yeah, I’d like to order some flowers for delivery...”
_____
On the evening of Valentine’s Day, an elaborate arrangement of flowers sat atop Scrooge’s dresser in a tall, multi-tiered golden vase. A pamphlet version of the store’s flower guide, with the bouquet’s choices checkmarked with hearts in a sugary pink ink, laid waiting on the floor next to the bed, its seal broken despite the bashful protests the sender had put up for its recipient to wait to read until the next day (or until her near-impossible death, thanks immortality).
(She had insisted that the pamphlet be included, on a whim of courage, because as embarrassed as she would be, she was also pretty sure he wouldn’t have a clue about the language of flowers, as far as she knew.)
And thankfully, he had read it (as she sat next to him on his bed in half-mortification, half-burning-desire, holding his hand and looking away, his own squeeze growing stronger by the second between sounds of amusement and adoration), because she had been immediately bombarded with hundreds of loving kisses when he finished reading, and now they laid entangled together, happily exhausted, utterly closer in heart, and basking in a symphony of floral aromas.
On the pamphlet, the following flowers were checked off:
Blue salvia - I think of you
Dahlia - good taste
Heliotrope - eternal love, devotion
Lady’s slipper - capricious beauty
Lilac - joy of youth
Pink rose - happiness
Red camellia - you’re a flame in my heart
Red carnation - I admire you and am missing you
Red rose - love, I love you
Red salvia - forever mine
White camellia - you’re adorable
White chrysanthemum - truth
White clover - think of me
Yarrow - everlasting love

Mickey and Friends Age Poll Results
So I sent out about 6 polls asking you all what ages you generally saw the different Mickey Mouse and Friends characters in either the comics, shorts, etc.
I was interested because none of the mediums really clarify ages (Unless they are specifically kids) and keep it vague so I wanted to see what vibes each character (or set of characters) gave. For research reasons.
So here are the results of the Poll and my own thoughts:
Mickey Mouse (120 votes)
Most People see him as... Mid 20's - Early 30's
Tumblr media
Seems like just barely over half see Mickey as in his Mid 20's to Early 30's with a quarter seeing Mickey in his Early Adult - Mid 20's. As you can see, I completely agree with the majority. As others have said on the original poll, this Mid 20's to Early 30's is sort of that perfect sweet spot where you are clearly an adult and have and have had responsibilities for quite a while, but you aren't really an expert in anything yet and still trying to find your place in the world.
Mickey tends to reflect this mentality well as he clearly has his own house, can work, and must being paying bills. But he is also usually in a subordinate or student role. Usually the mentee instead of the mentor.
Minnie Mouse (30 votes)
Most People see her as... Mid 20's - Early 30's
Tumblr media
This and the following polls got way less votes than the Mickey one (this one got only 1/4 of the same voting size), but I still think the results are interesting to talk about. I considered combining Mickey and Minnie since I feel like most people assume they are the same age or at least very close, but I changed my mind as I really wanted to see if that was the case and based on the poll... That does seem to be the case. Most people agreed that Minnie was in her Mid 20's - Early 30's, even more than Mickey at over 60%.
I know people tend to see or make female counterparts younger than males, so I am glad to see that people see Minnie at about the same age (Then again there is quite a bit of range). I also think it is interesting that the amounts for the other options were generally about the same as the Mickey poll (With even 30's - 40's being at the same exact %)
I, of course, agree with the majority as Minnie seems to be in the same age range as Mickey in terms of clearly having settled a bit as an adult, but still growing and trying to find her place in the world.
Donald and Daisy Duck (51 votes)
Most people see them as... Mid 20's - Early 30's
Tumblr media
So the reason I combined Donald and Daisy is for the same reason I was about to combine Mickey and Minnie. I feel like most people see them as generally the same age and if they would have gotten drastically different results, it would have shown up on the Minnie and Mickey poll (I also just didn't want to make way too many polls). But as we saw with that one, there weren't really any changes with gender, so I assume it would have been the same here.
Seems like most people also see Daisy and Donald in their Mid 20's to Early 30's just like Mickey and Minnie. Over 60% of people agreed. I also agree, as I really see them as not really being that much older or younger than Mickey and Minnie, so feel like they should be in the same age range.
What I really think is interesting though is that when it comes to the other options, more people tend to lean more to 30's - 40's at over 25% instead of Early Adult - Mid 20's. Which wasn't the case for Mickey and Minnie. I think part of the reason is that Donald specifically tends to be put in more parental roles than the others. While they all have nieces and nephews, Donald has had quite a bit of media where he is the one who clearly has custody over Huey, Dewey, and Louie and takes care of them. I think that tends to push people to view him as more mature. Someone even mentioned that Ducktales '17 Donald is apparently canonically in his mid-30's, which probably influenced some of the vote.
And honestly, I can see that. I feel like when Donald is on his own or if his relationship with the boys is limited as just uncle and nephews who visit sometimes, I can see him being a bit younger. But if he is actually the one raising them, I can see him as a bit older.
Goofy (26 votes)
Most people see him as... 30's - 40's
Tumblr media
So I am actually a bit surprised by this one. Because I actually didn't expect so many people to agree with me on the 30's - 40's. And over 65% did. It seems like over 80% see him as at least over 30 (First of his friends to have people vote 40's - 50's). With less than 20% seeing him in the same age range as the others. It appears that most people in general see Goofy as older.
I always saw Goofy as maybe about 5 - 10 years older than the others. I think part of it is his personality. While he is... Well, Goofy. He is also pretty wise and seems to have a bit more understanding or experience than the others. I don't know how to explain it, but he feels a bit more mature than Donald and Mickey at times.
It also helps that he is the one who is usually seen with the oldest child. Usually, Donald's Nephews are about 8 - 12, with a few rare exceptions of teens. Goofy, on the other hand, has been seeing Max as 11, 14, 16, and as a college student a couple of times each.
Pete (24 Votes)
Most people see him as... 40's - 50's
Tumblr media
So this one was pretty close as it seems like mostly everyone agrees that he is between 30's - 50's. But it was kind of close on which set of decades he is in. Though more people, almost 55%, believed that he is in the 40's - 50's range, and I agree.
Pete definitely comes across as a character who has a lot of history. Whether it is his more weathered gruffer looks or that he usually tends to be in authority senior roles (landlords, bosses, etc.) and similar to Goofy he also had a teenage/college-age son. I guess the big difference is whether people believe he is in the same range as Goofy or older. I actually don't think he is too much older than Goofy (Between 5 - 10), but he definitely tends to give off almost middle-aged, starting to have a mid-life crisis energy to me. And it seems like more people lean that way too. But I also could see him closer to Goofy's age.
The Phantom Blot (38 Votes)
Most people see him as... 30's - 40's
Tumblr media
This was one I was really interested in seeing how people felt, since I feel like Blot doesn't have as clear age markers as the others and his age might depend on a variety of factors. This is the only time where I apparently went against the grain as I saw him as in the 40's - 50's where over 65% saw him in his 30's - 40's. Seems like almost 95% see him as definitely over 30% with about 2 votes seeing him as possibly in his mid 20's - 30's (I talked with someone who had this view and it is really interesting)
So from my perspective, I guess I saw the Phantom Blot as older because he sometimes gives me almost mid-life crisis vibes. I think this does depend on the comics you watched, but sometimes he feels like he is trying to remain relevant and do something meaningful before your life ends, which I feel tends to happen as you get closer to 50. He also in general just seems very knowledgeable and skilled which you get from experience.
But then again, I can also completely see where everyone else is coming from. Blot also in many appearances seems to be at his prime where he is old enough to be skilled and have experience, but still young enough to have a sharp mind and be in good physical shape. It would make sense for him to be in his prime and thus his most dangerous. Honestly I guess it depends on how you see the Blot and both can work.
~
And that is all of the characters and their ages. Seems like I generally agreed with the majority except for the Phantom Blot. Which is better than I expected. I kind of wonder if I should have added more tags as some of the voting pools were much smaller than the others. Also in retrospect, I wonder if I separated Daisy and Donald if Daisy would have polled younger since similar to Mickey and Minnie she doesn't really raise her nieces like Donald does.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
But for fun, if you were to put them in order from Oldest to Youngest (And going off the Percentage Trends)
Pete (Funny since he is actually the oldest character in real life)
The Phantom Blot
Goofy
Donald and Daisy Duck
Mickey Mouse

random ducktales headcanons in whatever order I think of them
Louie likes math. He acts like he doesn’t because he thinks it’s dumb and nerdy, but he likes math.
In a human AU, Huey would wear cargo pants, track pants, or jeans on occasions. Dewey is a jeans every day type-of-guy, he doesn’t own any pants besides jeans. Louie always wears sweatpants or track pants.
Researching Scrooge really got Webby into American history. She loves learning about Scrooge when he was in America. Some of her favorite periods to learn about; The Gold Rush, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, primarily the early Gilded Age.
As Dewey gets older, he gets a passion for writing. His overactive imagination is a tool for this. He also uses inspiration from his childhood fantasies and incorporates them into his stories. For example, he makes references only he would get about Dewey High in his writing. He does primarily action/adventure and realistic fiction.
Louie gets easily embarrassed about his hobbies. He starts by doing them nonchalantly, but when he realizes people are noticing, he starts doing them in secret.
Huey does not get art, primarily poetry, plays, or anything written. It just goes right over his head. He hates English class and Shakespeare.
When Lena likes something, she draws it a lot. Whether it be her magic, people, friendship bracelets, or even just a little trinket she found, she’ll draw it. These drawings go into her most beloved sketchbooks. But she also has the Sketchbook of No Return, in which she draws things she hates as a way of getting her emotions out. Sometimes she even blacks out the page after drawing it.
Violet introduces Webby to Ancient Civilizations. They study early history together, from Mesopotamia to India to Greece.
Huey and Violet get competitive when they do Junior Woodchuck things, but they get along really well otherwise. They both have passions for science and nature.
Boyd and Huey are best friends, and hang out all the time. Despite being a robot, like all Gearloose’s inventions Boyd feels human emotions. Huey finds this extremely fascinating. Louie likes to tease Huey about being friends with a robot, but Louie doesn’t really have many friends himself so he can’t say much.
Gosalyn feels awkward at the huge sleepovers the Duck and Vanderquack family are always hosting. Her only friend at them is Dewey, while everyone else knows each other. Even Boyd knows Lena and Violet. Plus, Gosalyn doesn’t even know the rest of the Duck boys. But, eventually she warms up to everyone after being super competitive in games and sort of cold as a defense mechanism.
Lena and Violet dye their hair together sometimes.
Panchito and José eventually become known as Uncle Panchito and Uncle José.
Huey, being terrified of Dewey’s carelessness, finds Louie to be his Comfort Sibling™
Louie is kind-of into knitting???
Fethry, Gladstone, Donald, and Della always came to Scrooges for the Holidays. Every Holiday. Winter and Spring break too. They all got pretty close. Plus, adventuring was not Donald and Della exclusive.
Donald is the only one who can tell the triplets apart when they do their hair the same way and wear the same clothes.
One time Louie stole Webby's skirt because he wanted to know what it was like to wear one. He's also done this with Scrooge's clothes.
Dewey cannot cook for the life of him, but Huey is a master chef. Huey also makes the best soup-and-salad combos. Louie is in the middle ground, but for some reason finds baking much easier.
One time Della, Donald, Fethry and Gladstone played War together, but on teams. Donald and Gladstone wanted to see whose luck would outweigh the others, so they teamed up. The game was cut short because the table got knocked over and the cards fell through the floorboards. They looked for the cards but couldn’t find them.
May loves drawing and June loves reading, and they like to write books together. Daisy gives May fashion tips for her characters, and reads the books June recommends.
Webby likes to photobomb Dewey's selfies.
Gosalyn and Louie scam people together.
Webby and Lena have a playlist of both their favorite songs. They sing to all of them at their one-on-one sleepovers.
Lena and Violet both like heavy metal.
Gosalyn was extremely girly as a child.
Lena reminds Scrooge of Donald when he was younger.
Drake adopted Gosalyn (obviously).
Lena and Huey lowkey have beef.
Dewey was actually laid first.
One time Dewey accidentally called Storkules his Uncle Storkules. The man was never happier.
Panchito became a sky pirate once but Don Karnage booted him.
Boyd really likes listening to Huey talk about his passions, which is good since Huey goes on and on about them. Donald thinks it's so sweet that Huey has such a good friend. Boyd is Donald's favorite of all of the boys' friends.
Louie's khopesh is his favorite treasure ever.
Della was Donald's best man at his and Daisy's wedding. It didn't matter that she wasn't a man.
Launchpad and Drake nerd out together for at least three hours a week.
Drake cannot handle affection. He gets all awkward when someone tells him they love him or when someone hugs him.
When Louie isn't around, Boyd is the number two comfort buddy for Huey.
Violet and Boyd get along really well, and Huey gets jealous of Violet. But they primarily hang out in JW meetings so it isn't crazy.

( I loved reading your tmnt stories I like the rivals one between rise ) can I please request Yandere rivals Dewey vs Louie from duck tales (the new/recent one on Disney ?) please (reader could be a type of bird species or maybe a red panda ? Their so cute !) it’s up to u of course , can’t wait to see what u come up with )
I'm very happy you enjoy my TMNT stories. I also enjoy writing for cartoons recently ^^ I'll see whag I can do. Aged up but I still made the pairing vague (leans platonic in my eyes though)
Edit: This show is so good-
Yandere! Dewey vs Louie with Red Panda! Darling
Short Concept
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic - Rivalry
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Manipulation, Jealousy, Obsessive behavior, Clingy behavior, Invasion of privacy, Red panda! Darling is an introvert with extroverts-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly, no matter what animal you are, Dewey will have the hardest time in this pairing.
Dewey is a yandere who wants your attention always on him.
Louie is a yandere who is laid-back and manipulative.
I decided to make it different and choose red panda for this request.
Mostly because the ducks are the most used to birds and dogs in Duckberg.
A red panda would be very different.
Birds populate most of the area.
You being a red panda scares them both at first.
After all, they've heard of bears and think you're like them.
Actually, red pandas are docile and not aggressive.
Your species actually prefer to be solitary.
Honestly once they warm up to you both of the ducks are very curious.
You will unfortunately give up most of your free time....
Louie is the less needy one of the rivalry.
His yandere behavior is Manipulative, Caring, Calm, yet also Insecure.
Towards his darling he can talk you into things.
He has charisma and is quite the smooth talker.
The issue is Dewey....
Dewey is eager to impress you.
Dewey is Obsessive, Clingy, Insecure, and Caring.
He's always wanted to stand out and getting your attention is no different.
When Dewey finds out Louie also wants your attention, the blue duck freaks out.
They're both insecure but Dewey is much more scared of being ordinary to you.
Like typical siblings they're going to fight... a lot.
Now... the differences that happen due to you being a red panda.
They like the fact you're docile and not going to hurt them.
They also tend to abuse the fact you're so nice to them.
The ducks also like your floof.
One moment they're playing with your tail, touching your ears, honestly just invading your personal space.
They both care for you, Louie's rather upset he has to compete for your attention instead of just having it.
The issue their little competition creates is the fact they forget to leave you alone.
They're so absorbed in getting your attention they don't take in the fact you want to be left alone.
You have to hide or sneak away from them to relax.
Even then they just show up again, begging you to hang out with one of them.
The issue with having them fight over you is it's so... annoying.
You're quickly tired and they just don't understand.
Dewey just wants to show you he's different compared to the others.
Louie just wants to have someone he can relax and talk with, perhaps practice his charisma on.
Their fighting may make you lash out at them before hiding away.
Your outburst makes them stop temporarily.
Until they decide to compete on who can make you feel better.
Just prepare to have two ducks always trying to have your attention and fighting at all times... even when you want to be alone.

I'm gonna talk more about 2 things and that is the duck children and also the elder scrolls magic system which I feel WORKS for them.
(Envisioning the kids in human form still)
Huey Duck: Crafting specialist, enchanter of magic objects and maker of potions. Huey studies the math and science behind the magic - alchemy already appeals to his knowledge of herbology and chemistry, and mastering the enchanting art is... empowering. He gets used to carrying soul gems around on adventures to harvest the souls of monsters slain. Experimenting with enchantment uses up a lot of monster souls. But... it's worth it to advance his knowledge.
Dewey Duck: Conjuration user, although not especially gifted. Takes a long while for him to get the hang of summoning a sword into his hand at will, but when he does he's so proud of the accomplishment that it becomes his Thing and he uses it so much that he accidentally gets super good at it to the point that it takes ages for the spell to wear off. He could theoretically learn any of the myriad of other conjuration spells. But the desire to do so doesn't occur to him.
Louie Duck: Illusion magic is his friend. Louie is a little too lazy to lean heavily into the study of illusion magic and get *really* powerful. But he's such a natural at using the novice spells that it almost doesn't matter that it isn't higher level magic. Manipulating a fight is so much easier when he can magically instill Frenzy, Fear or Fury into weak-minded enemies. But his absolute favorite trick is, of course, getting to turn invisible for a short time, and avoid a fight altogether.
Webby: Gifted with Destruction magic. Although her granny would have her boycott the practice of magic in favour of practical fighting skills, Webby loves magic and is a well of power on her own. Fire and Ice magics are more difficult for her, not quite matching her nature. But Lightning spells fly from her hands like a personal storm when she gets really riled up. One thing she cannot understand is, of course, the concept of "moderation".

Hello! I heard you're taking care of a small little fluff ball so don't feel pressured to taking this in! I was wondering if you could please do prompt 6 or 29 for Ace? Thank you! I'm grateful for whatever you write! Have a good day and take care, also say hello to the flluff ball for me!
This is such an old message, oops. Louie is okay! we adopted him brothers but they did not get on and they had a little fight. He is still okay but next payday we need to find him little brothers because the others were his age and they just didn't click. I will give him a big kiss and a hello from you though <3
In the future I need to have two chars to choose from but I am a sucker for Ace so.
Ace x GN Reader SFW Modern AU Prompt: going to a fair and playing games and going on the Ferris wheel Word Count: 962
Tumblr media
The fair was in town and Ace wanted to go, he gave you this whole speech about how he and his brothers used to go every year but now they’d moved out of town with their respective partners. You were going to suggest going anyway but you still liked to see how passionate Ace got about things and let him barter with you about the trip.
“Yeah sure, we can go tonight?” You suggested and smiled when his face lit up, the grin that appeared on his handsome freckled face when he jumped up on the couch and pulled you into a hug, your face squished against his chest as he assured you it’ll be fun.
The music was loud but not unbearable, the night sky was the perfect backdrop to all the glittering bright lights of the fair. Smells of cotton candy and hot dogs filled the air as you walked past the food trucks. Ace held your hand and led you around the fairground, telling you that it never changed, it was like this every year.
Chilly Autumn air nipped at your nose and you could see your breath as you responded to him each time he asked you something, how he wanted your input, trying to keep his own brimming excitement at bay.
You were impressed Ace was able to keep himself under control, you were sure he would have rushed off in every direction. You both got a hot drink from one of the vendors, wanting something to warm your hands as you walked around, admiring all the stalls, games and rides set up.
Hearing happy screams as you heard the roar of a small coaster behind you, seeing Ace’s attention follow the cart on the tracks, watching the way it twisted and turned with a gleam in his eyes, knowing that would be on his list tonight.
“Hey, look at those plushies, they're really cute.” You said and pointed to a fair game, all the toys lined up around the walls as you walked closer, a big table with a large pool in the centre, bobbing along the water were bright yellow rubber ducks of varying sizes with metal hooks peeking out the top.
“Want me to try to get you one?” He asked and peered at the rules, something about each duck having a coloured dot on its bottom correlating to the prizes stacked up.
“That’s sweet but I think I can handle a game of luck.” You said with a wink and put your money on the side for the game owner.
You were both given a rod with a little metal hoop at the end, designed for grasping at the hooks on the ducks. You looked at each duck’s smiling face and wondered if the ones with smaller hooks would have better prizes, you watched as Ace just went for it, going for the biggest duck and the biggest hook. Going for the easy option.
Lifting your chosen duck you saw the owner pick your duck off the end of the pole grabbing Ace’s as he did so. You waited, feeling giddy about the prize as the man nodded and pulled off a tiny rubber duck keychain and passed it to Ace.
Ace seemed to deflate at the small prize but shrugged it off, quickly attaching it to the wallet chain that dangled from his jeans, looking pleased with himself nonetheless. You watched as the man grabbed the plush you were eying up and handed it to you.
“Hey, well-done babe!” Ace grinned and put his arm around your shoulders as you held the plushie tight to your chest with the biggest smile on your face, already coming up with an array of silly names for the cuddly toy.
Some fairground food later you and Ace found a few more games, he was pretty good at the coconut game, hurling cricket balls at them and knocking the coconuts from their posts. Winning you another toy which was nice, you felt loved when he handed you the toy, something romantic about being won a prize at the fair.
You both went on a few rides together, the waltzers, the bumper cars which he was a little shit with, always chasing you, but it was still a lot of fun and your cheeks hurt from how much you were grinning.
“Hey, this place closes soon, what you wanna go on?” Ace asked, your hand in his as you clutched your stuffed toys under your arm.
“Ah, that?” You pointed to the large Ferris wheel with the assortment of coloured lights covering it. You wondered what the fairground would look like from here, getting to see all the rides and bright colours.
“Alright then, let's do it!”
The ride was a little shaky as each cup got to a certain position and paused, letting someone else on but as the wheel rose to the top you got to see everything. You took a breath, you’d been right, this was nice and you felt Ace shuffle closer to you, his arms around you as he nuzzled his nose against the side of your head.
“This has been loads of fun, thanks for coming with me, I thought I was going to have to miss it..” He admitted and let out a sigh.
“I’m having a great time and I’m glad we came out, you know you can share all these things with me as well as your brothers, right?” He nodded and leaned closer, kissing your cheek, once, twice, before you turned around and pressed your lips to his.
“Yeah I know, thank you.” He said, voice soft and genuine as he leaned his head against yours, admiring the view and enjoying a wonderful date night with you.

In defense of DT17 Doofus!
He’s better, I’m sorry. I’m sure some people, especially if you grew up on the cartoons and are used to him, would disagree. But I’ve seen too many memes slandering Doofus Drake and I will not stand for it any longer.
1) He’s a foil to Louie Duck in 2017
He serves more of a purpose in my opinion. Characters don’t need to serve a purpose to be good, but Doofus in ‘87 wasn’t super impactful and when he was the center of the episodes, the could have been filled by someone else. For example, anyone could have found the crystal he finds in “Superdoo!” (S1 E52) and it would have a similar story. Louie desires to be super rich, so it’s good to see him compared to a kid who did get super rich very quickly (and kept his money). Him being really weirded out by Doofus works to show the audience how it could turn out if Louie achieved his goals long-term. This is especially true when you consider how he acted when he was briefly the richest duck in the world.
2) He’s less of a harmful stereotype
Now, he’s not not a stock character in ‘17, but he plays a different sort of character. Instead of being a fat idiot who really likes food, he’s a spoiled rotten psycho who will do anything to get his way. Both are stock, stereotype characters, but I’d argue that stereotyping spoiled rich kids is much less harmful. He’s also just more modern. The fat dumbass character has become less popular over time, where making fun of insanely rich people is all the rage.
3) He has more room for development
Now, he doesn’t change a lot because he’s a fairly minor character, but at the bare minimum things happen to him that are implied to affect his development off screen. His arc with Louie ending with him forgiving Louie for “ruining his inheritance” was certainly something. As well as his inheritance being halved in the first place by B.O.Y.D., who deserves it more than him. These things are the start of a significant change for Doofus, even if it just happens after the events of the show. OG Doofus does not have the space for that sort of development, because being big and really liking Launchpad aren’t flaws that should be fixed, they’re traits to be laughed at.
4) He’s just funnier
Personal opinion, but I like him more in DT17, I just prefer when he’s on screen to when Doofus87 is on screen. I think it could be because of my age and the shows I’m used to watching and the character types I’m used to, but I prefer the style of humor Doofus17 brings. Plus he has some of my favorite one-off gags, like the “What is he gonna do with umbrella and walnuts?!” Line. Technically said by Louie, but caused by him.
Final thoughts:
I think it would be funny to watch them physically fight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also if you don’t like ‘17 Doofus, try picturing that he’s not named Doofus Drake. Maybe if you stop looking at him through that lense, he’ll bother you less, because he is an insane departure from Doofus87. They aren’t even close to being the same character.

May I please request "who needs them. we can have fun on our own" for Daisy and Webby?
Sure! I would’ve loved to see what their dynamic could’ve been like in the show. I certainly enjoyed the first prompt story I did of them, so let’s do this!
I give you…
Pink in the Autumn
Originated from this post.
“Okay, are we almost there, Uncle Donald?” demanded Louie.
“Yes, don’t worry,” reassured Donald. “Keep your head on straight.”
It was fall now, and with Donald and Daisy now dating, Donald felt it the perfect occasion to take her to Duck Ridge Farm. It had been one of his favorite places to go to back when it was just him and the boys, and he wanted Daisy to experience it for herself.
Of course, it wasn’t just them. If Donald knew anything about being in this family, it was that you can’t exactly turn down kids clamoring to get in some farm activities and apple picking at this time of year, regardless of their age. Which was why Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby were along for the trip, too.
“This is so exciting!” Webby chirped, clapping her hands together excitedly. “I’ve never done this before.”
“You’re going to love it, Webby,” Huey assured her.
“And we haven’t gone at all since we moved in with Uncle Scrooge,” Dewey added. “I’ve missed this place.”
Louie mentally counted back the years in his mind. “Wow…yeah,” he gasped. “Yeah, so have I.”
Eventually, along a long stretch of farm road, atop a small hill, they reached their destination.
“Never ceases to amaze me,” Donald remarked, taking in the scenery. Rows of pumpkins and apple trees, as well as some vacant peach trees, sat on one side of the road. On the other, a large barn with various arrangements of crops and flowers, as well as a couple of cash registers and scales, stood out amongst everything else. A few pens’ worth of farm animals were next to it, as well as coin-operated feed dispensers. Further back on that side were more apple trees, plus stalks of corn.
“I must say, Don,” Daisy commented, “I may be a city girl, but I can’t help but appreciate scenery like this.”
“Glad to hear it,” Donald replied, squeezing his girlfriend’s hand.
“It’s just like I remember it,” reminisced Louie.
“I…love it!” Webby chirped. “So what’s on the docket, Uncle Donald?”
“Well, it seems appropriate that we do some picking,” replied Donald.
“But of course!” Huey exclaimed.
So Donald went over to one of the registers, bought a few peck bags for everyone, and then the six set off towards a row of apple trees.
“Okay, what type of apples should we pick first?” Donald asked.
All of a sudden, the boys’ voices rang out in unison: “McIntosh!” “Fuji!” “Granny Smith!”
Donald shook his head. “I almost forgot how long it takes for the boys to decide what kinds of apples to pick,” he said to himself. Then he turned to Daisy and Webby. “I don’t want to keep you two waiting on this. You can go ahead without us. Here’s a map.”
“Are you sure about this, Donald?” Daisy questioned.
“Nothing I can’t handle,” Donald replied confidently. “Besides, do you two really want to spend your first visit here locked in endless apple debates?”
“As much as I love debates comparing and contrasting things,” Webby answered, “it would be fun to actually get to pick the apples.”
“Exactly,” replied Donald. “So why don’t we meet up at the stacks of apple crates in about an hour?”
“Fair enough,” Daisy reasoned. “We’ll see you boys then, I guess.”
“Bye, Uncle Donald! Bye, guys!” bid Webby. “We’re off to pick some apples of our own.”
Eventually, Donald and the boys were out of sight, and Webby and Daisy were searching for the perfect set of trees to pick from.
“Feels a bit weird doing it without them,” Webby remarked. “Might be more fun if it was all six of us.”
“Aw, who needs them?” Daisy asked teasingly. “We can have fun on our own.” She smiled reassuringly at Webby, which made her feel better about the situation.
“True,” the girl agreed. “Now, if I were the perfect tree, where would I be?”
And so they kept on searching. Eventually, they came across a nice row of Jonagolds.
“I think we should try and go for a variety of apples,” Daisy commented. “These look like they’d be a good starting point.”
“Definitely!” agreed Webby.
“This might sound a bit maddening,” Daisy added, “but I haven’t picked apples in years.”
“Really?” gasped Webby.
“Nope. Growing up in the city, for the most part, all I really knew was apples that came from stores. I think I did go once or twice when I was a little girl, but that’s it.”
“And now you can get back to it!” Webby chirped. “And I’ve never been before. But I’ve been doing research.”
“Oh, yeah?” Daisy asked curiously. “What have you found in your research?”
“Well, for one,” began Webby, “these apples, Jonagolds, are a cross between the Golden Delicious and Jonathan apples, hence the portmanteau name. They have a good sweet-tart balance, are very juicy, and have crisp, creamy yellow flesh.”
“Impressive,” said Daisy. “Webby, you are failing to cease to amaze me.”
“Aw, thanks,” Webby blushed. “Now let’s find some apples!”
And so they set to work picking. Daisy noted that the apples she was finding on the trees weren’t nearly as peerless as the ones she’d usually buy in a store. But, she reasoned, as long as they didn’t have any rot to them, or weren’t otherwise feeding any insects or creepy-crawlies, they were probably more than fine to eat. She also needed to make sure that it wasn’t too hard for her to pull off the branch, because that probably meant that the apple wasn’t quite ready yet.
Using her own keen eye, Webby was doing very well at finding good apples. And for those she couldn’t reach, Daisy would help her get to them.
Eventually, they moved on to a row of Galas. Webby explained that they were excellent snacking apples, and though also sweet, had a more distinctively mild flavor than Jonagolds. She and Daisy repeated the process from before, until eventually, they had a full bag of apples, bright red with various streaks of yellow.
“I think this calls for a celebration,” declared Daisy, and she pulled an apple from the bag, rubbing it on her jacket. “Go on. We’ve earned it.”
Webby selected an apple of her own, cleaning it off with her own jacket sleeve, and she and Daisy clashed them together in sort of a pseudo-toast before they chomped down on them, relishing the sweet taste.
“Ah, shoot,” Daisy interjected, looking at her watch. “We’ve gotta meet Donald and the boys soon.”
“Ooh, you’re right!” exclaimed Webby. “Let’s take our apples over there.”
“Besides,” Daisy added, “and I think we’d both agree on this, I want to see what kind of goodies they’re selling in that barn.”
“You read my mind perfectly,” Webby confirmed. And with thoughts of donuts and cider dancing in their minds, the two made their way back over towards their apple-picking party.
It didn’t necessarily matter that they didn’t have that much experience with picking apples before; Webby and Daisy could both say that when it came to it, they were a pretty great team.
