Joseph Mawle, his acting is, and will remain, one of the best of his generation. A great actor can be recognized by the love and emotion he arouses in his audience. Mission accomplished.

Adar is an archetype that no one can fight against. Joseph Mawle gave an incredible dimension to this character but it is not limited to that. The response he generated proves that he was able to awaken buried memories and emotions in us.

This is what a great actor means to me. A modern-day shaman. And what's more, he's a beautiful soul, close to his audience, a rare quality !

The Cinema is not just about the actors, there is also the production which is very important. His view of the world could prove very interesting.

We wish you a beautiful and long career . Sometimes patience is necessary but it is to better prepare youself. We wish you the best.

Adar (as well as the lore and complications he brings with him) is my favorite part of Rings of Power.

I am so worried he won't survive season 2. He has incredible potentional.

This is my new dream ending for Adar.

Sauron striking him down but underestimating him. Adar joining an uneasy alliance against Sauron. Fighting to free his children again.

It's hard to choose the most tragic thing about this character. The fact that his story can end in nothing but tragedy is high up there, though.

I love Adar. He's probably the most underrated character in the whole serie. He's a victim and he's acting to save himself and the orcs.

I have impressed in my mind Galadriel's line "Your kind was a mistake. Made in mockery. And even if it takes me all of this Age, I vow to eradicate every last one of you."

But it's not his fault, he's been imprisoned and tortured, becoming a new creature, an Uruk.

He's no longer accepted among the elves and he's just trying to free the orcs from Sauron's grip, finding a new place to call home.

Chapter 9 is finally up! I don’t know why my chapters keep getting longer and longer (this chapter is 3000+ words), but I love Adar and this world so much, I can’t help getting lost in my writing. Anyway, I hope will enjoy it! Smut warning AF, they went like one day without and had to make up for lost time, lol. It’s also getting pretty serious, and I’m excited to see where the next chapter will take them. I got so much in store for Adar and Malwen... Here’s a tidbit of chapter 9:

I turn my head to look at him. He looks so peaceful laying on his stomach, his hair a tangled mess around his handsome face, his ears peaking through the strands. He's not wearing a shirt, only a pair of dark trousers. I could stare at him all day, trace the scars on his skin with my fingertips, kiss the pale tissue carrying his story of torment and triumph. He's survived Morgoth's wrath. He's the Lord Father of an army of mighty uruks. He will rise to power and ravage the Southlands. And I will stand by his side.
