The way Geto smiles at Gojo’s mid ass compliment is the basis of my unshakable conviction that he would have a praise kink

jjk 236 manga spoilers !!! -
Extremely funny how the high school reunion party followed by Gojo's body reveal was framed in that way for the sole reason that this shocking resolution would have been boring as fuck if done straightforwardly hahaha... Honestly i still believe in the potential of Gojo turning into a cursed spirit (because that obvious aspect of the world-building hasn't been delivered on WHATSOEVER yet) or the next 6 eyes somehow being immediately ready to throw down, but i no longer believe that any of it will be written well.
A thing that has been bothering me for a while due to spending too much time on twitter is how shonen bros are very keen on praising the technical aspect of the magic system in jjk, how the fights are so good they balance out the lack of emotional weight. ...but was any of the fighting actually good on that technical shonen level? There are a lot of implications about how various Heian era sorcerers came up with techniques and items that are used today but none of it has any real elegance since every new technique and artifact just conveniently came up whenever characters needed to use them. Did Toji's possession of Inverted Spear make sense? Suuure, and maybe it has some ties to Angel whose technique maybe helped to make it. Doesn't change the fact that it was introduced purely to have a way to deal with Gojo's infinity and Geto's curses. And even the attempt to bring back Yuta-Rika bond in terms of Toji-Worm made no real sense since Rika was created by and bound to Yuta intrinsically while Toji just... tamed and trained the Worm off-screen somehow? Why would Geto's technique not work on it then, how is it different from some cursed spirits being loyal to themselves or the places they are guarding. His use of cursed spirits is clearly different from a regular 'taming' situation. And similar problems happen with techniques like Simple Domain or Falling Blossom, they were just ~invented~ in the past somehow so now people can use that. How do they actually work and why can't people come up with their own bullshit techniques then? Well don't worry about it, it might come up again or probably won't because there is no need for that pesky logic in our magic worldbuilding systems. You could even say that the absence of sense and balance is on purpose since the story on the whole is about how everything is Unfair, but it's not like that's communicated well either so? At this point it feels like anything can happen and not in a good way. Gojo got sealed in a poignant emotional way that im looking forward to in the anime but then... he got released by some convenient technique from a new character? Then didn't give much of a reaction to his plans falling apart in front of him, didn't acknowledge Megumi's situation beyond what it meant for the fight (nothing acknowledging how he both lost one of his strongest potential assets and how he participated in robbing both Megumi and Tsumiki of their youth - this at least might come up in a flashback alongside Nobara's situation, if Nobara is 100% dead then the writing is even shittier for not bringing her up properly), went to have a fun fight, had fun and died rip. Even his dying hallucinations were a generic pat-on-the-back 'u did well haha it's great that u had fun' rather than anything meaningful. You could say Gege is salty towards Gojo specifically but it's not like other main characters are faring any better so far... Yuji vs Sukuna is set up in a way where it's just too simple of a straightforward revenge battle with the side of getting Megumi back or killing him, the only thing we can look forward to really. And i can't be excited about Kenjaku vs anyone bc it's not like Yuji ever showed any interest in his parentage (and no mommy issues agh) or got to know Gojo's backstory or anything that would have given him a personal interest in going against Kenjaku at all and none of the other characters have personal beef with Kenjaku either... Like, Yuta a little, but much less so now that Kenjaku is just another big villain for everyone to defeat rather than 'need to kill him myself so that gojo doesn't have to'. Sukuna vs Kenjaku could also be fun if we learned about their past but a Heian flashback would probably just make the story even less engaging at this point. Plus any fight will still do a bunch of that 'actually i had THIS technique/item/skill all this time or i just came up with it even!!' Probably that's what's going to happen with unrevealed Sukuna techniques and Yuki's research. Yeahhh anyway...

➟︎ i just wanna make this disclosure that you making at least $500 a week.
➟︎ gojo, alone, is like $450 and once you picked up geto’s subtle digs, he adds about $50
➟︎ choso is too precious and he RESPECTS HIS MOTHER so he honestly just busies himself with the task of catching either guy in the attack and making them pay up.
➟︎ nanami saw the douche-bag jar as an opportunity to add a chore jar.
➟︎ which led to you creating a hoe jar for the boys anytime they wanted to hoe around after designated hoe hours. it’s specifically for you because they choose the most inconvenient times to bring girls over
➟︎ lookin at you toji 😒
➟︎ now you guys have an ass of jars around the apartment with various meanings.
➟︎ there’s a positivity jar for you since you have a habit of saying you wanna kys and that someone should run you over so you can get your tuition paid off. nanami bought had enough of you plotting your own demise so now you gotta pay up.
➟︎ y’all literally communicate with jars.
➟︎ living with six men, with most of them incapable of communicating healthily, jars were the safest option
➟︎ and honestly, they rarely had meaningful arguments
➟︎ there was one time though. . .
CHOSO HAD JUST finished cleaning up his work station at the tattoo shop when nanami and gojo arrived from their internships. you were at the front desk, adding in appointments that toji had added to his schedule for december. gojo hopped his big ass on the counter and messed in the candy jar that you had just restocked.
“if you wanna keep your hands, i suggest you move them.” you murmured, typing away at the electronic schedule for toji.
gojo quickly removed his hands from the candy jar and folded them behind his back like a little child. nanami took a seat on the leather couch by the door, glasses pushed up his head and hands covering his eyes.
“you ok ken?” you asked gently.
nanami got migraines easily, something you thought had to do with dealing with the boys, ‘til you realized they came more frequently. “just a really busy day today is all. i wish you would’ve been there though, toji.”
now, the blond didn’t mean anything by his comment, at least you thought he didn’t. but unbeknownst to you, the two men were arguing recently over toji’s nightly activities, his side job, and how it affected his internship with nanami.
geto, choso, and gojo shared a look with one another, you still typing away on the iMac, minding your black ass business. choso moved to remove you from the situation, slipping past toji to coerce you into going to get food with the other two and finishing the schedule at the apartment. you had never seen the two argue before, and they tried not to have you present for them because it could get vicious. nanami meant well most of the time, which was why he would get onto you guys the way he would and toji did not always like that. before you had come along, those two would go at it for hours. toji’s anger issues flaring up and nanami’s manipulative tone sparing no insecurity of toji’s; it was a never ending cycle.
“cho, i’m almost done!” you whined, trying to finish up your last entry.
toji’s eyes hardened on the exhausted blond across the room from him. his body growing hot at his friends’ sly remark. how dare he throw a dig at him? with you present, nonetheless. can’t nanami see that he’s trying?
nanami finally opened his eyes to see the damage he caused. “but you’re so fucking perfect, right? mr. ‘got his shit together’ because the rest of us are so fucked up that you have to be the one to point it out.”
at the sound of toji’s voice, you stopped your bickering with choso and were now focused on him and his burning eyes that were trained on nanami.
“grow up fuhsiguro. you became an illegal street fighter to ‘deal’ with your trauma and then opened up a tattoo shop, but somehow can’t find the time to make it to your internship for eight hours?” nanami scoffed.
your heart dropped to your stomach at nanami’s cold and malicious tone. why was he talking to toji like that? why were they talking to each other like that?
“get her out of here, now.” toji spoke slowly, looking like he did before he got into a fight.
nanami scoffed and stood up from his spot on the couch, loosening the cuffs on his dress shirt. “you wanna hit me toji?” he taunted, making his way closer to the tattoo shop owner.
you couldn’t move from the chair you had been in since two pm that day. choso settled on pushing you to the wall, away from where the two men would handle their animosity. geto closed the doors to the tattoo rooms before joining you and choso, with gojo, by the wall.
“then hit. me.”
and the first punch was sickening. toji was a fighter, through and through, but nanami could hold his own too. but the way toji was hitting his friend, making sure all of his hits connected in some way, each growing in ferocity, you knew nanami was not going to reign the victor this time.
“stop them! why aren’t you guys stopping them?!” you yelled in distress, watching nanami land a hit near toji’s eye.
gojo looked at you sadly, silently pleading that you wouldn’t look at them differently. but the heartbreaking look in your eyes told him what he needed to know. and it was not until nanami landed on the ground particularly hard, that you snapped from your daze and pushed through the three men to stop the other two from killing each other.
toji had climbed on top and began landing hit, after hit, after hit upon nanami’s face left the blond unrecognizable.
“toji! toji! toji stop! you’re going to kill him!” you screamed, moving close to them to try and prevent toji from landing another heavy blow.
you weren’t thinking. not about how close you were to toji’s hands or how you could even get hurt yourself. just that you wanted this to stop. and when toji’s fist accidentally hit you upside the head, causing you to fall back, it did stop.
the three men had already been heading your way when you had gotten hit and it fell silent. you were touching the top of your cheekbone that had gotten hit, groaning at the pain it sent. toji looked at you in horror, no longer angry and now, afraid.
“oh my god! y/n!” gojo was the first to speak, rushing over to you in a hurry.
toji scrambled up from his position on top of the, now unconscious, nanami and went over to you. when you flinched from touch, the fushiguro son felt his heart dissolve into tiny pieces.
choso and geto went to attend to nanami, seeing that gojo had you in his arms already.
“i don’t know what the fuck is the problem between you and him, and i don’t want to know, but know this toji; i don’t want to see either of you until you can get your shit together. i am disgusted by y’all.” you spat, allowing gojo to help you up off the floor.
it hurt you to say that to him, but it was necessary because clearly none of them ever told them. and if they did, toji nor nanami cared enough about their opinions.
and that was the last time any of them ever fought like that.
➟︎ safe to say that jars are you guys’ group therapist. and that bitch is tired

HC: Sorcerers W/ Citizen S/O
Characters: Gojo, Nanami, Geto
A/n: how the fuck have I not written for Gojo yet 👁️👄👁️ I literally simp for this man so hard... WELP this was long overdue
🖤❤️🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru
Sugar daddy material LMFAO, I'm serious though, if you can get this man into a committed relationship??? Damn you must mean a lot to him
Because of this he sometimes thinks of breaking up with you. Not because he doesn't love you, but because he loves you too much.
He knows his job is dangerous, incredibly so in fact, so he's constantly scared of your safety.
This is probably another reason why the two of you would have to stay in a secret relationship for quite a while before Gojo is fully confident that he can protect you anywhere and any time from anyone and everyone at the same exact time
Anyways, back to the sugar daddy lmao, he's away a lot, right? So, one way he shows that he missed you a lot and he still loves you is by buying you gifts
From something cheap and funny like a bag of chips where the mascot looks like you, or something expensive like a jeweled necklace he thought matched your eyes
When it comes to his work though, he keeps you in the dark for the specifics, cause it does get gruesome and terrifying so he tries to just tell you what happened without giving details
He's also very protective over you, if you've met Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, or any of his students, even though he trusts them, he will always be somewhere where he can see you whenever you hang around other sorcerers
All and all, he's protective and spoils you rotten
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nanami Kento
Now this man, he's actually glad you're a normal person, he doesn't like mixing work with life
So the fact that he found someone he loved outside of his dangerous work, he's ecstatic about it, even if he doesn't show it
Because he's not an incredibly large target for curses like Gojo is, he's not scared of you getting hurt for being involved with him, he actually would've been more scared for your safety if you were a sorcerer
Not to mention he loves the fact that when he comes home you're almost always home before him, so he gets to relax his sore muscles by hugging you tightly
Just like Gojo though, he barely tells you anything about his work, and you have to respect that. Because not only does he not want to terrify you with the things he needs to do, he also doesn't want to involve you in his work at all
Even knowing crucial information about curses could land you as a target, so he chooses not to, even if you would sometimes beg him to tell you more about his interesting job
Also, we all know Nanami is also rich (maybe not as rich as Gojo but still FUCKEN RICH), so you're also getting spoiled when you're with him
Not as much as Gojo would, cause he low key impulse buys anything he thinks is interesting, yet Nanami buys you meaningful gifts
Something that holds sentimental value, something you could always look at and be reminded of him whenever his missions take him far away for a long time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Suguru Geto
RIGHT SO LMFAO I FORGOT HOW HE ACTED LIKE AND THIS IS ME REALIZING THAT THERE WOULD ALMOST BE NO WAY HE'D LIKE SOMEONE HE CONSIDERED A MONKEY AKA A NON-CURSE USER SO LET'S JUST SAY YOU HERE CAN USE CURSES BUT CHOOSE NOT TO USE IT YES? OK, LET'S CONTINUE (manga spoilers ish idk???)
(also yes I edited this pic to not include his head stitching, why? Cause he looks adorable here but I don't want to be reminded of those fucking stitches thank you very much)
For the sake of plot, let's say Geto met you when he was still a student and actually has his priorities straight aka before the Riko Amanai incident
He was fascinated by how strong you were and yet you still chose to be a normal citizen
Though this fascination didn't last long and slowly got exchanged with romantic feelings
As his s/o you'd definitely need to have the same ideals as he does, which is a world where sorcerers ruled and non-sorcerers / non-curse users were either dead or below him
He would though go to extreme lengths to protect you and the things you care about (as long as the thing you cared about was not a normal person)
He would treat you like royalty basically, spoiling you with attention and affection, and help you get stronger if you wanted to
Unlike Gojo or Nanami, he'd love for you to be a part of his vision for the future, or when he was still a student, he'd love for you to know the in's and out's of Jujutsu High
Overall, he'd be an amazing lover, as long as you share his ideals and you're a curse user

i'm just wondering what rip!mc and gojo's first impressions of each other were. like, how did their relationship escalate to where it is now? was there a specific situation that happened or a couple words that had to be said for them to be in this whole "closer-than-friends" thing they got going on?? how did gojo fall in love w her? i'm just so interested in their relationship, im hooked 😭 ur a genius
LOL it's kinda a ride actually
gojo and rip!mc don't get along that well when they first meet. I don't think teenage gojo has the patience for quiet people like teenage rip!mc. the sentiment is returned by rip!mc who just isn’t...very interested in gojo (gojo = unnecessary trouble)
it comes to a head at when she + stsg are sent on a mission.
tldr; gojo gets destructive and ends up breaking smt really important. rip!mc is like "It was my fault for thinking you'd exercise self control for once" and it ticks gojo off bc she isn't even mad at him, just resigned, and it kinda stings. geto ends up having to intervene 😭
in the end, rip!mc tells him to grow up and to "please apologize" that's when geto falls in love bc it'd be more meaningful if it came from him instead of her or geto (who already apologized). gojo grumbles abt it a lot but still ends up doing it.
anyway as recompense gojo makes rip!mc give him some of her melon bread (she gives him the whole thing and it’s the first time he ever sees her smile), and their relationship gets slightly better from there.
gojo probably develops feelings that summer when they're talking abt infinity and rip!mc is like "when was the last time you've felt another human's touch lol" and gojo is ".....”
rip!mc then asks gojo if he wants to hold her hand and it basically plays out like:
gojo: you wanna hold my hand so badly
rip!mc: you don't have t—
gojo, snatching her hand: I never said that.
