I want to ask every young person who is no older than 40 years old . Why do they think it is cool to stay a liberal and a Democrat? Is it because the mainstream media says so? I get that a lot of issues in US and western society is rooted in capitalism, but there's a certain point in which blaming it for everything and leaving it at that is just kinda shallow. I recently watched a video that was talking about the left's tendency to dunk on people and tried to explain why it was bad by saying that dunking on people is profitable and competitive and we're doing so because of capitalism. Like yeah? Okay? And? Like, my dude thanks for pointing that out I guess but you really just fed me a nothing burger there. It's not hypocritical to have to work within the confines of capitalism to gain traction for your movement if that's what that video was implying. It could be misunderstanding it though...
