Leon: I think he's gay but he's denying it, I feel like he'd believe those stereotypes about gay people being weak and stuff, I feel like he'd call himself super straight without knowing what it means💀

Marlon: I feel like he's aromantic and asexual, in my opinion he doesn't seem to be really interested in anyone in any way-

Vanessa: I feel like she's lesbian✨ and whenever she tells people that she'd probably say that Leon is the reason why😀

Raban: I think he's pan- I don't really have a reason why I think that, he kinda just gives me a vibe✨ he's also asexual ✨

Big disappointment with how much they’re censoring Requiem of the Rose King, and it seems incredibly weird with how much at this point. It’s quite evidently for an older audience so it seems senseless to censor it even though I know a lot of anime does but it’s not that explicit anyway in the first place. It’s missed out massive parts of the plot and left the season pretty confusing at times, which is why I’m relieved I’ve read the manga otherwise I would have no idea about some of the goings on with should be happening that aren’t even shown. It’s one thing to censor nudity but totally cutting scenes and storyline is making it patchy. Not to mention the topics being cancelled from it are big parts of Richards story in this adaption and his growth and experience within his life with his body, and it’s being cut a lot so we aren’t really seeing what’s going on for him. Likewise they’ve changed important actions like when he would be stern with his want with Buckingham and they switched it around to make Richard look like a submissive push over being pushed against a wall with zero firmness like in the manga of him turning around with him declaring he was his kingmaker, misleading the dynamics yet they’re happy to cut other stuff with actually was Richard being this way during more intimate scenes which have been ignored. It’s kinda heartbreaking, but I’m glad there’s the manga and honestly the art has unbeatable beauty, I wish Funimation had taken this series on not gunna lie and I’ve seen people agree the same. I’m enjoying it, I mean the anime was what caused me to find to manga so that I’ll hold dear, but it’s just a massive shame too. I like it a lot still, as it is if I didn’t know the true whole story it’s great in it’s own merit yes, it just irks me when producers leave out big plot points especially when they’re closely connected to being very important as it lets characters down. If you’re watching this and love it, I’d dearly recommend reading the manga to grasp the whole story much better, it’s more raw and you won’t regret it.

Must wait till the 9th of June for the Eng translated version of rotrk volume 15 and then 6 months till December 22nd for 16. Weeps. I read this series in 3 days and 1 volume per half a year is alarming. I cannot wait. It’s incredibly lucky it’s actively going on, which I’m grateful for. Not to worry, there’s still the rest of the anime to come for the next few weeks. It’s missing so much though from it, as the network is censoring everything from whole bodies to important plot points and details about characters.
