A peek into my OC's story 🌊

The small dagger leaves her hand, flying with a precision that belies the amount of drink she has consumed already. It strikes the wall right where the painted man’s heart would be with a loud thunk. The grizzled seafarers cheer, sloshing their ale as they raise their mugs in a toast. Leyla whoops with joy, throwing her arm up in celebration before reaching for her own tankard and taking a long, deep pull.

“And that’s how you do it, folks!” Her eyes shine as she sets down her mug, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand and laughing at a joke one of the craggy patrons makes about never messing with Captain Quinn.

“You’re good."

A voice cuts through the crowd and she turns, the radiant exuberance slowly shifting from smile to frown as a stranger approaches. In the hush that falls over the tavern, she can hear the sound of his ornate clothing jangling before he even steps into the hazy orange light of the overhead lantern. Even in the dim room his blue eyes gleam like molten sapphire.

“But I’m better.”

I know the ask about Leyla being a trust fund kid is few days old, but I just wanted to add that quite a few wags ( not all obvs) come from well off backgrounds or at least had a “comfortable” upbringing.

The first few that come to mind are: Daniella Vince dunns girlfriend who went to smu iykyk and who is fairly well off, I know that’s she’s an “influencer” but she doesn’t have the follower count or anywhere near what she would need to afford her lifestyle.

On the topic of Wags that went to SMU, Kate kirchoff (now Seguin) her parents are old New England money. Ellie Connell who is mathew tkachuks gf also went to smu literally had debutant ball hosted by a secret- ish society in St Louis.

Olivia Bonner (Quinn Hughes’s gf) even though she comes from a small town in PA her family owns half of said town and she goes to FIT in NY which isn’t cheap.

Sienna Schmidt (jack hughes ex gf ) comes from from Wyckoff NJ which is one the wealthiest places In the US her parents are also loaded and she is a pretty successful commercial model in her own right .

Going back to leyla her grandfather is apparently a Turkish billionaire.

And Parker comes from wall street money

Creek Fest is here! It's bigger and better than ever this year, with tons of fun, fall-related things to see and do in the Hideaway Market!

Firstly, don't miss out on the various shop fronts and tents and booths that are set up in the shopping centers of Hideaway Market. In the center of the Market, you can find several food and drink tents, as well as face painting and games set up for the kids -- such as corn hole, the corn pit, a scavenger hunt and much more! There is also a stage set up for live performances (click here)!

There is a 'DIY Station' in the middle of Hideaway Market's center, where you will be able to paint and carve pumpkins, stuff your own scarecrows, make wreaths and floral arrangements, and much more for all of your fall décor needs.

Transportation in the form of hay rides is available to take you to the following places:

Harmony Ranch -- where you can participate in the corn maze (and sunflower maze!) and buy a few good dairy products, as well as end of season farmer's market goodies. petting zoo & pony rides set up, as well (for anyone from kid aged to adults).

Lavender Lane -- grab all the pumpkins, mums and fall flowers that you might need for your decorating seasons! gift cards are available for those who want to pick up at a later time, too.

Black Creek -- visit the creek for staged photos and a nature walk along the trail to enjoy one of our favorite features of Merrock, guided by park rangers.

Sunrise Orchard -- a quick trip to the orchard to grab a ton of apples, so you can make some delicious apple pie!

The Festival will be open from 10AM until 8PM EST every night, so there's plenty of time to get out and enjoy everything that you want to enjoy. Have fun! xx

Biography:

Trigger warnings: Adoption, serious sickness, death of a family member, broken family, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, overdose, depression. Leyla was born in London, England to a very wealthy family. Her father, Gregory Quinn is a very well known crime lawyer and probably represented the worst of the worst in the crime business, while her mother, Evangeline Quinn was a simple housewife who dedicated her life to her three children. Andrew, her big brother is older by six years while her little sister, Lily is younger by two. Their family life was quite wonderful while Leyla was growing up. At a very young age, Leyla found out that she was adopted. She obviously know that since she didn't looked like her siblings or her mom and dad. She didn't really care since she adored her mother. Her father, was usually out of town for business which meant that her mother was everything for Leyla and her siblings. When Leyla was around the age of 12 her mother sadly got diagnosed with leukemia which made a huge impact on their family life. Gregory came home often to help his wife and the kids and basically did everything in his power to keep the family together in this hard time. Sadly, after two years of fighting the disease, Evangeline passed away. This broke the whole family. Andrew the oldest brother decided to join the army as a coping mechanism while Leyla tried to keep it together and help her little sister as well. At the age of 15 Gregory Quinn decided to move his whole family to Vancouver due to his business schedule. Moving to a new country, a new town and a new life was very hard for still grieving Leyla. She didn't quite choose the best people to hang out with and ended up hanging out with some questionable people, doing very shady things like underage drinking and worst of all, drugs. She hid it from her father who was away most of the time but, when they found out, they were sure to send her to a rehab facility to improve her behavior. Nothing really helped, Leyla came back each time more and more angry at her absent dad. After finally graduating high school, she became very interested in being a private investigator and opening her own practice office. As she told her father about her new idea, he rejected it as he didn't trust Leyla. This decision caused a huge fight between Gregory and Leyla which ended up in him cutting her off and kicking her out of their residency. With hard work, Leyla could accomplish a license and did open her own practice office. She's still struggling with sobriety and getting into a lot of trouble due to her job but, trying her best really. Who knows what's waiting for Leyla in the near future.

–– olivia was born on july 4th 1998 to alana and harry scott . her dad grew up in england while her mom is american . she is the last child in the schott family and has an older brother and a sister who are twins .  –– she comes from a very rich family –– mom’s a lawyer and dad owns a hotel company that has hotels in both england and all around the us. –– her mom grew up in charleston , hence why the family lives there . her dad traveled a lot when she grew up and even though her mom was at home more often than her dad she still didn’t get much attention from her parents . –– she did get a ton shit of gifts tho . she never heard the word “no” throughout her life and she sure did get everything she wanted . this affected her when she got to middle school . she had the biggest crush on this guy at school when she was 14 . she followed him after school , trying to learn his routine so she could “accidentally” meet him and possibly make him fall in love with her. –– but little did she know he was already seeing someone . this caused her to act up and burn this girl’s hair “by mistake” at school . no one saw it happening but the girl ended up ratting her out which caused her parents to send her to boarding school in england when she was just 15 .  –– she started her modeling career when she was 18 , after she finished school . she’s been going on trips and doing her thing ever since , but decided to come back home at the age of 21 . she’s been in and out of charleston but has officially moved in the last 6 months .
