So I’m addicted to the game Knights chronicle from netmarble and adore their emoticons that you can use in the game. I took them out so my discord guild could use them (even though it’s mad small on discord). I’m putting them here for others to use too (if you want to). You can download all 30 emoticons here.
These emoticons are not mine. They were taken so others can enjoy.

3 and 13 for the asks!
Favorite line/scene you wrote this year:
Let's see, I really like what I did with the gelato one shot Once Upon A Time
I also really like this bit of In Calamity's Grasp:
“Urbosa!” She exclaimed, looking around on her hands and knees, eyes catching a glimpse of light blue behind her. “What was that?” She asked, disregarding it and looking forward. “Did you feel that?”
Zelda finally registered what she saw, it clicking in her mind. She slowly turned her head to look behind her.
“Wait, what,” she said at the sight of Link. “How did you...What are you doing here?”
Urbosa’s lungs erupted in a great laughter.
“What’s so funny?” she asked as she looked at Urbosa, but the Gerudo chief only kept laughing.
“Urbosa,” Zelda nearly demanded. “What is he doing here?”
“You remember your knight attendant, don’t you?” Urbosa said coyly with a tip of her head. “Blonde hair, blue eyes, follows you around.”
“I am aware of his physical appearance,” Zelda muttered under her breath.
“And his name?”
Zelda sighed, closing her eyes. She faced Link, who stood with a slight fear inside him that neither Urbosa nor Zelda could see. Zelda forced a smile that didn’t match the sun but rather resembled the cracked line of a ruined building.
“Link,” Zelda said as kindly as she could, although it came out quite passive-aggressive. “Would you mind telling me why you are here?”
Link parted his lips with an inhale and yet no sound came out.
“Forget it,” Zelda said, reclaiming her freedom to be frustrated as she stood up and briskly walked away. Urbosa figured she would head back to the town and yet was surprised that Link was still just standing in place looking at where he had last seen the princess.
“Link?” Urbosa asked where she sat, still lounging comfortably. “Are you not going to escort her back to town?”
Link looked at Urbosa with a shift of his gaze,
“I can’t protect her if she won’t let me,” Link said. “Sooner or later, the king is going to have to find someone she actually trusts. ”
“Perhaps,” Urbosa said, looking out at the night sky.
“Her safety is more important than my pride,” Link said with a bit more strength in his voice.
“Then why don’t you go save her?” Urbosa said, looking directly at him. That piercing stare and striking cadence was enough to snap a bolt of lighting into Link, shock him back into his fear.
He nodded quickly and ran off to catch up with Zelda.

Fanfic Author Asks
I was tagged by @icescrabblerjerky! thanks for the tag~
Author Name: Lise
Fandoms You Write For: currently I have fic in (active) progress for the MCU, Good Omens, Doctrine of Labyrinths, and Lymond Chronicles. also a Good Omens/Lucifer crossover. I guess I’m a proper Multifandom Fic Writer again.
Where You Post: primarily AO3 though I keep posting things here and then being too lazy to crosspost.
Most Popular One-Shot: it’s easier for me to see stats on AO3 so just going from that: technically it’s I heard you killed your only friend last year but seeing as that’s part one of a series I’ll throw in feel my bones ignite, aka the one genuinely Thorki porn fic I ever wrote.
Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: Life In Reverse, by far. though it’s hard to assess Remember This Cold for sure because it’s separated out, but I’m pretty sure Life in Reverse still blows it out of the water. Halfway House is a distant second.
Favourite Story You Wrote: oh jesus, ask me tomorrow and I’ll have a different answer. At least right now I’m extremely proud of my two Lymond fics, because they took so much goddamn work and I ended up feeling pretty good about the result? but I’ve actually...for all my anxiety, written a fair number of things over the years I ended up feeling proud of.
Story You Were Nervous to Post: at least in recent times, I feel like I was most nervous to post gather frankincense because boy does that fandom intimidate me. not that you could tell by how much I trashblog about it.
How Do You Pick Your Titles: for the most part I find a song or poem I know that feels like it fits the mood and go from there.
Do You Outline: only in the loosest sense of the word.
How Many of Your Stories are complete: most of the ones that are posted. I have three currently posting incomplete works (the enemy of my enemy, Tear My Castle Down, and Steve Rogers’ Halfway House for Notorious Supervillains). I also have 60+ WIPs that live on my hard drive that I will not post until they are finished.
In-Progress: [puts face in hands and sobs] you can see...more or less the full list here. I believe it’s current.
Coming Soon: imminently (in editing stage): the next chapter of Halfway House (FINALLY) and a fic about Crowley being discorporated a lot that went severely off the rails. further out: I should have the fic that’s ostensibly Grandthorki and more “there’s a lot of sibling feelings and poor communication here” by the day in question (October 21st). Out of Office, aka the fic about Aziraphale taking care of Crowley’s plants as a proxy, is moving along fairly well.
sometime in the next year the next RTC installment should show up. depends on how much I drag my feet writing the action scenes, mostly. at least the angst bits should come easy.
also planning on trying to work actively on Pygmalion (pre-series Felix/Malkar grooming fic) and haec olim meminisse iuvabit (turns out it’s very hard to write Richard POV), as well as...lord, so many other things. knowing me there’ll probably be another Where the Devil Don’t Go fic soon, because apparently that’s just what I do now.
I’ll probably end up starting another fucked up Lymond fic, more than likely the “Jerott/Gabriel/Lymond during Disorderly Knights” one. but who knows how long that will take to finish.
Do You Accept Prompts: sort of?? I mean, people send me them, but I don’t make any promises about them getting written. sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. anybody’s guess.
unless you’re Lena in which case somehow you have witchery status of managing to get me to write all kinds of things. I don’t know how she does it. sinister powers, probably.
Upcoming Story You’re the Most Excited For: yeesh, ummm. I’m excited about the RTC fic right now, actually. it’s hard and it’s a lot but I’m like. rubbing my hands together and going “heh heh heh” which is always a good mood for me. but honestly, it fluctuates. come back to me tomorrow and the answer might be different.
Tag Five Fanfic Authors to Answer These Questions: oooh, okay. only answer if you wanna but: @thelightofthingshopedfor, @jaggedcliffs, @gaslightgallows, @loxxxlay, @bereft-of-frogs.

Game of Throne Season 8 review with spoilers
This season was a mix of epic triumph, character arcs coming to completion, others missing the mark, and some disappointing turn of events.
First, I really enjoyed the first two episodes. They were more like a two-parter with most of the banter between characters taking place at Winterfell. Lena Heady (as Cersei) didn’t have a lot of screen time this season since most of the focus was on preparing for the battle with the white walkers and the Knight King.
Speaking of which, viewers also complained the entire episode was too dark. To me, that was low on the list of what went wrong with the episode. The battle strategy at the beginning was ridiculous. The Dothraki were the first line of defense. The red witch comes out of nowhere and lights up their sickles but what does that do if they were not carrying dragon glass, the weapon of choice for destroying the undead? Second, why were the Unsullied in front of the burning trench and not behind it protecting the castle? And Ayra the one killing the Knight King? Jon Snow seemed destined for that task since it was part of his character arc. And how did Samwell survive yet Jorah die?
The other problem was the season wasn’t long enough to allow more character development for Danaerys. Her descent into madness seemed too quick. It may have been part of her arc, but it could have been handled without seeming rushed. The battle at King’s Landing was even more rushed, with Drogon evading and destroying a multitude of scorpions, allowing him and his queen to turn the city into smoldering rubble.
Some scenes in the final episode seemed like fan service, particularly Samwell presenting Tyrion with the “Song of Ice and Fire” a chronicle of happenings since the fall of King Rober, not to mention the entire small council. Putting the greedy Bronn on it as Master of Coin is a recipe for disaster.
The high point was having the remaining Stark children becoming free agents and having a satisfying end to their stories--Sansa becoming Queen of Winterfell, Ayra going to see what’s beyond the west, Jon going beyond the wall to see what’s up north, .. while many viewers felt the writing had gone south.
In sum, the story felt rushed, but it wasn’t the epic disaster that diehard fans with a media platform thought it was.

Game of Thrones co-executive producer Bryan Cogman penned the second episode of the final season, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” which devoted an hour to quietly spending time with fan-favorite characters before their apocalyptic battle against the Army of the Dead. While fans expected the six-episode final season to be action-packed (and it will be), the producers also felt it was important to slow down and savor the show’s ensemble lineup of characters now that they’re together in one place and facing what is almost certainly their last night all together.
“This episode is really a love letter to the characters,” Cogman says. “With most of our battles you get about 15 minutes of calm-before-the-storm with the characters participating in that battle taking stock of where they are in their lives before the dam breaks. This is an entire episode of that so that episode 3 can hit the ground running.”
Below, Cogman (who previously wrote a terrific GoT re-watch viewing guide) gives some behind-the-scenes insight into some of the episode’s biggest moments…
— Jaime’s informal trial: “This was not unlike the trial episode I adapted with Tyrion in season 4. It was a chance to revisit Jaime’s arc and the different perspectives that they have about him. Brienne’s perspective mirrors the audience. One thing I have to remind myself is that not everyone on Game of Thrones is watching Game of Thrones. The characters only know what they know and they only know their own experiences, but the natural thing for you to want is to say, ‘they’re both good guys, just put aside your differences.’ What’s fun about Brienne’s testimony is she’s the only character who’s bore witness to the amazing changes Jaime’s gone through over the course of the season — apart from Tyrion who has his own reasons for loving his brother and knowing he’s different than how he’s perceived.”
— Jaime asking to serve under Brienne and Brienne being knighted. “Jaime does something here you would never expect the Jaime of season 2 to do. For Jaime, to humble himself to serve under anyone is a huge thing. He would never do that for anybody other than her. Jaime has been a knight of the Seven Kingdoms his whole life, but he’s finally becoming the knight he’s been chasing.” And later, Jaime knighting Brienne in the Great Hall: “We wanted to take the audience by surprise. It’s not a ceremonial scene on a cliff at sunset with billowing capes. It comes out of a throwaway moment that even some people in the room think is a joke and then they quickly realize it’s not. It’s a monumental thing. It’s a moment of grace and beauty in the middle of a nightmare and the main reason I wanted to write this episode. The episode’s title, ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,’ refers to both Jaime and Brienne.” (By and by, EW asked Brienne actress Gwendoline Christie which scene she’s most proud of in the entire series and she said it was this one. “I think the knighting scene,” Christie replied. “I thought about it so much and what it means to me conceptually. It’s so emotional for the character to get something she wants and to be acknowledged.”)
— Arya and The Hound: “Arya asks, ‘When have you fought for anything or anyone other than yourself,’ and The Hound says, ‘I fought for you.’ There were glimmers of ‘goodness’ — for lack of a better term — in The Hound before he encountered Arya — certainly in his occasional protection of Sansa. But that scene in season 4 when he fights for Arya he was protecting her in his mind. He believed Brienne was there to do her harm. The tragedy of that scene was, again, if they had just seen each other’s subplots they would know to work together. Yeah, The Hound is always going to be a killer, he’s never going to embrace the life of peace that Brother Ray was preaching. But that time with Brother Ray fundamentally changed him and the seed of that was protecting Arya which grew into who he is now.”
— Arya and Gendry: “We asked ourselves what a lot of these characters would do on their final night. For Arya, there’s an attraction to Gendry and she’s like, ‘If I’m going to die, I might as well see what all the fuss is about.’ She executes that encounter and Gendry is more than happy to go along. We were very careful to make sure Maisie [Williams] was comfortable and everything was on her terms. One thing I wrote specifically when crafting that scene is ‘Gendry notes her scars.’ They’re from all of Arya’s encounters but most specifically when The Waif tried to kill her. There are so many things Gendry doesn’t understand about Arya. They’re having this nice flirtation and have this own shared history they draw upon but she’s very different from the Arya he used to know. There’s an attraction for him, but she’s also a bit scary too.”
— Davos and Gilly tending to refugees: “The short little scene with Davos and Gilly tending to refugees streaming into Winterfell. They encounter a girl with half her face scarred who bears a resemblance to [Stannis Baratheon’s sacrificed daughter] Shireen. The name ‘Shireen’ is not said in the scene. But Shireen taught both Davos and Gilly how to read. This is an example of how brilliant [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] are. I wrote a scene where Davos and Gilly get on the subject of knowing how to read and then get on the subject of Shireen and how she taught them both. It was the right inspiration but it felt contrived. [With the showrunners’ notes it] evolved into this where the scene is absolutely about Shireen, but neither of them are aware of the impact she had on the other. It was a beautiful way of acknowledging all of these threads between all of these characters that many of them are not aware of and never will be aware of — only we as the audience have the privilege of being aware of them.”
— Podrick’s song: “Songs have been important in the past on the show, but they’re more present in [George R.R. Martin’s] books. Pod once again surprises us when we find out he has a lovely singing voice. It was fun to find a reason to get ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ [a.k.a. ‘Jenny’s Song’] in there in a way that feels organic and appropriate. It’s not something we normally do, but I think it works. Dan wrote the [bulk of the] lyrics — about it being warm and having fellowship together and how they wish it could last longer, but it’s not going to.” The song is also covered by Florence + the Machine in the closing credits.
— Jon tells Dany about his parentage. “Jon is avoiding Dany the whole episode because this bombshell has been dropped on him and he can’t even process how to be in the same room with her. She senses a strange tension and can’t understand why. What really upsets Jon is that he’s a blood relative to the woman he’s in love with. In the crypt, Jon is taken aback when essentially the first thing she says is acknowledging that he has a claim to the Iron Throne. And Jon’s immediate concern is the fact that that’s her immediate concern. [Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke] play it beautifully. It’s a very difficult scene to pull off; so much has to go on behind the eyes. But then the horn blasts and the Army of the Dead are at the gates.”
“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” is “almost like a play,” Cogman adds, an episode that he was eager to tackle yet proved to be a massive challenge. Cogman praised showrunners Benioff and Weiss for helping shape and edit the final script. “This was the most difficult script of the 11 I’ve written for Game of Thrones,” he says. “The big challenge was not writing a Wikipedia page. In fact, my first draft was a Wikipedia page. The way it works is the showrunners return a Final Draft document with notes written in red in the margins. They returned my first script with a sea of red.”
One suspects the episode will dramatically feel even stronger when watched in tandem with the next episode of season 8, which chronicles the Battle of Winterfell. “There was such a breakneck pace to season 7 that I was delighted when the [showrunners] proposed an episode of just spending time with characters in this space,” Cogman says. “I think it will make episode 3 — which is spectacular — all the richer. The moment that episode 3 starts we’re in full 100 percent battle mode.”

SUPERHERO LOW-DOWN
February 5 - 11
SUPERGIRL
Season 2: Episode 11 - The Martian Chronicles
Armek, a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank and Supergirl determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.
Talk about mistaken identity. This episode really took the disguise situation to new levels. The team thought they could figure out who was being disguised by asking personal questions until Hank revealed that the shape-shifter would know everything about them. Sadly Armek did not keep the team guessing long enough, when he took on each different shape. It would have been interesting to see them have to work it out a bit better. We also see some character development for Hank, as well as Kara and Alex. Poor Kara, always too little too late when it comes to the men. Hopefully she’ll figure things out. And how many people are now interested in seeing a series based on Hank’s backstory, the Martian Chronicles. That would be interesting, to see the battles that took place. We always get hints of what it was like, but wouldn’t it be interesting to see something about it? Until they do, we get a great character, and that lead to a great episode surrounding him and M’gann.
NEXT WEEK
Season 2: Episode 12 - Luthors
After Metallo breaks out of prison and frees Lillian Luthor, the police blame Lena for his escape and arrest her. Despite overwhelming evidence, Kara refuses to believe her friend is guilty and fights to clear Lena’s name. Flashbacks reveal how Lena came to be a Luthor. Meanwhile, Alex and Maggie celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together.
THE FLASH
Season 3: Episode 12 - Untouchable
Barry and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin, a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe becomes his next target but it’s Iris who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash and begins to elevate the newer speedster’s training to another level.
What a great title for this episode, both for the power of the meta-human, and for the victims he attacks. They were a part of Flashpoint. We finally see Julian come into his own as he talks Katlyn down from losing control in helping Iris. Barry’s form of teaching Wally how to be a speedster seems to be failing, but he learns the more hands-on approach to the situation. This is how he is going to get Wally to save Iris in the future. The way of killing seemed challenging and interesting in the same sense. It seemed almost impossible to take him down, but Wally came to the rescue and saved the day.
NEXT WEEK (1 week break)
Season 3: Episode 13 - Attack on Gorilla City
When Jesse Quick informs the team that her father has been abducted, Barry, Caitlin, Cisco and Julian voyage to Earth-2 on a rescue mission to save Harry from Gorilla City. As they trek through the forest, Barry and the team are immediately captured and brought to Grodd. Grodd tells them he needs their help to stop Solovar, the leader of Gorilla City, as Solovar wants to invade Earth-1. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash hit the streets to stop a metahuman that can control gravity, with H.R. and Joe guiding them from S.T.A.R. Labs.
LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
Season 2: Episode 11 - Turncoat
When The Legends find a new Time Aberration they learn they must travel to the winter of 1776 to protect George Washington and the American Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, forcing Sara to send out Nate and Amaya to help. Meanwhile, Jax and Stein who are busy protecting the incapacitated Waverider from their new enemy, are forced to step into roles that they don’t think they are prepared for.
This was certainly a Mick Rory episode. Right from the introduction, which was priceless, we knew it was going to be centered around his character and that it was going to be good. The thought of him giving advice to “Georgie” was interesting, funny, but also very deep for someone like Mick. The irony that he became one of the forefathers and that there was a statue in his honor in Washington, that was the icing on the cake. We got some good storytelling as the members of Fire Storm found themselves in new roles as ship’s captain and as surgeon this episode. The parts with Rip were heartbreaking because we loved the connection he had with our Legends, and to see him look at them without any emotion, is sad. Hopefully the Legends can restore Rip’s proper memories once more and bring our captain back to the Waverider. But all in all, Rory stole this episode, and it really made it an amazing one to watch.
NEXT WEEK (1 week break)
Season 2: Episode 12 - Camelot 3000
The Legends continue their quest to hunt down the Spear of Destiny before the pieces fall into the hands of the Legion of Doom. The Legends discover that pieces of the Spear are each being guarded in different time periods by members of the JSA. Their first stop is the future where they find Dr. Mid-Nite which eventually leads them to the past and King Arthur’s Camelot, where Stargirl is protecting her piece of the Spear. In order to protect the Spear shard from the now-evil Rip Hunter, the Legends must join forces with the Knights of the Round Table.
ARROW
Season 5: Episode 12 - Bratva
A mission takes Oliver, Felicity and team to Russia where they meet up with Oliver’s old friend, Anatoly. Meanwhile, fresh out of rehab, Lance returns to the mayor’s office ready to get back to work. However, when Susan asks for an interview with Lance to discuss his addiction, he balks and it’s up to Rene to help keep things on track.
We see that Oliver’s worries may be coming true as Diggle beats on a prisoner in order to get answers, and we see Felicity go all kinds of bad ass. It would be interesting to see her go a little darer than her usual self, but this was almost scary. It was completely out of character, but the way she explained it, it seems like she had done this before. As Oliver had gone back to the Bratva for help, it seemed that everyone was going back to old habits in this episode. Gaining what they needed, but losing a piece of themselves in Russia at the same time. The situation with Lance was touching, how he learned that he didn’t have to forget about his daughter’s death, but to learn to live with what it meant now. We really got some insight to his pain, and anyone who has ever lost someone that close to them, would know what he was going through. Time does not help us to forget those we have lost; it helps us live with them not being here anymore. We will never forget the Black Canary.
NEXT WEEK
Season 5: Episode 13 - Spectre of the Gun
A traumatic attack on City Hall triggers painful memories for Rene about his family. Flashbacks reveal how Rene went from simple family man to a hero named Wild Dog. Meanwhile, Oliver must deal with the perpetrator behind the attack and realizes the best way to do so is as Mayor Queen instead of the Green Arrow. Tensions run high in the Arrow bunker.
LEGION
Season 1: Episode 1 - Chapter 1
In the series opener, David considers whether the voices he hears might be real.
Wow what an opener. This was such a confusing episode, but in such a great way. The depiction of auditory and visual hallucinations was perfect; they captured the idea of mental health really well. The fact that it had the audience guessing most of the time as to whether people were real or not was amazing. You start to wonder if there ever was a hospital at all. I really hope that this level of accuracy is brought with the show throughout the series. Perhaps not as confusing as the first episode was, but certainly the kind of energy it brought. Well come, I was hooked within the first few minutes, and now I can’t wait for more.
NEXT WEEK
Season 1: Episode 2 - Chapter 2
David reflects on his past with the help of new friends.
That it for this week, Until next time...
Thanks for watching
