You let out a sigh as you finally reach the front door. You’d gotten off work much later than you intended, and then halfway home you suddenly remembered Luca had asked if you could pick up a few things from the grocery store for dinner. Shifting the bags around in your arms to dig out your keys from your pockets, before trying to unlock the door. Yet, before you can fully unlock it, the knob suddenly turns under your hand and the door is yanked open. “Your back!” The briefest flash of yellow before a large body darts past the door and sweeps you off your feet.

It takes you a moment to register the fact that you're suddenly held up in your boyfriend’s strong arms, “Whoa–Luca!!” As tired as you are, you can’t help laughing affectionately as he spins the pair of you around a few times. When he does finally return your feet to the ground, he has to help steady you as you start to stumble.

“Babe! I’ve missed you!” He starts to take the grocery bags off of you. “Oh! You got everything, thank you!”

“It’s no problem, love. Sorry, I’m so late though.” You let out another tired sigh as the weight of the grocery bags finally leaves you. “I would have told you I was gonna be late if I had known.” Luca immediately shakes his head.

“No, it’s okay! That’s not your fault.” His head tips to the side with a soft smile on his face. “I’m just happy you're home now, ya know?” As he takes in your tired form, an idea hits him, eyes lighting up. “Oh! Wait here!” The mafia boss quickly turns on his heels and rushes the groceries inside and presumably to the kitchen. You don’t have time to ponder what he’s thinking before he’s once more in front of you. “Arms up!” You’re already following his order before your mind can process what's happening and then you're suddenly in his arms once more.

“Ah–” You can feel your face heat up as he cradles you in his arms before turning and carrying you inside the house. “L–Luca, I can walk just fine.”

“I know!” He replies immediately. “But I wanted to do something for you! You’ve had a long day, right? Lemme help a little, okay?” You can only respond with an embarrassed yet affectionate huff. It’s not long before he reaches the couch and sets you down as carefully as he can. “Okay! You rest here, I'm gonna start on dinner!” Before he reaches the kitchen, he suddenly freezes before turning and rushing back to your side. There’s a question on your lips that dies before it can form as his lips press against yours. “I appreciate you, babe.”

“I appreciate you too.” The sun pales in comparison to the smile that lights his face.

No, bc I think about this a lot. A Reader who, not only encourages, but straight up instigates the chain's shit? Butters my biscuit, lemme tell you.

Imagine, Reader who feigns innocence to the chain, holding their cheeks with honey laden words and sugar fueled kisses. Who is aware of their more...devious intentions. Who knows all about it and turns a blind eye anyway. Not only that, but their making their jobs so much easier by straight up telling them who did them wrong that day.

Hyrule fears her, not because of what she can do, but what she can make others do for her. She doesn't even have to lift a finger. A simple nod and one of them has set their sights.

My favorite image of this is Reader just like snapping and out of fucking nowhere Four is launching himself at like the vendor or whatever. Or maybe she gives a wave of her hand and Legend is cutting them to bits with a razor sharp tongue (And dagger).

Just a sniff and Time and Twilight are flanking her side, glowing down at anyone that dare upset their beloved.

As for your Twitter comment, I wouldn’t mingle with them. I can understand and appreciate the hype, but this is where misinformation brews. Claiming that specific characters are present when they’re not is very misleading. That’s why I’m a big advocate in asking and questioning authenticity of sources. The photos that were uploaded into the group chat were a bit blurry. This might be where the confusion lies. Other than such, it is strictly Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles present in this one shot.

Like I’ve said, let me ask my friends and se if we can get to the bottom of this. I have a feeling that the excitement on Twitter is getting out-of-hand…

N: Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share?

Ohhh, so many. Too many. I tend to get a bolt of inspiration, start writing, and then get waylaid by another idea. But one I am making some inroads in at the moment is a weird little ✨time✨ fic, but I don't want to give anything away for that. We'll see if it works out LOL

I: How many fandoms have you written in?  Do you have a favorite?

*joints start creaking* back in my LJ days I wrote for Supernatural mostly, but d(r)abbled in a few others like True Blood. But yeah, three mostly – SPN early seasons, Gilmore Girls and Hellcheer, the latter two being the only ones on AO3. I got into writing later than most and also took a massive break. Hellcheer is my absolute 100% most favourite ever, in case no-one realised 🙃

C:  How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?

I'm gonna just pick one, lemme see. "Those were days of roses" is a line from the Tom Waits song Martha, which I just adore – in it an elderly man contacts an old flame to see if she remembers him. The short little fic is just a chance meeting when Eddie and Chrissy are middle-aged and haven't seen each other in 20 years. I tried to imbue the sense of melancholy from the song into the fic, but gave them a little more hope, I think.

O: What are your thoughts on people writing fanfic of your fanfic?

Uhm, sure, go for it! I don't think anyone would, I don't think any of it would particularly lend itself to it, but inspiration strikes from anywhere!

L:  Which of your fanfics was the most emotionally challenging to write?

Most of my Hellcheer stuff is a bit of fun and not really emotionally taxing, I think. But my GG fic Not Time's Fool, maybe? I wrote the spaces between canon, so trying to see how Rory and Jess could move forward with those events took a bit of meditation on my part on why they would and how they could.

E: What character do you identify with most?  Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well?

I don't know about identify, but there are some qualities in Eddie that feel like me. Or maybe that's just the Eddie I write – I probably write him lighter than canon tbh 😆 While I didn't stand on tables and act out so dramatically, I have always been someone who is a bit of a clown, who has a sarcastic comment or dumbass quip. Which fic shows that best? Fucked if I know. Maybe my New Girl fic, or Mary Jane?

(Also the sense of bottled up rage, or rage that simmers under the surface that Eddie has in some canon scenes. That's me too LMFAO)

Feb 4: Don’t be afraid to post your AU and talk about it, beautiful or not, unique or not, complicated or not, similar or not, cringe or not, demented or not, eh or not. 

Share your mind, you’ll find people who share it with you. And if you get hate, show them San’s ass or something. It tells others how nonexistent they are to you. (though I’ve seen someone draw Sans very beautifully thicc, we will keep in mind he is bones, which we indeed simp for).

Feb 12: Your Introduction of your own Underfell AU called SacredFell

I am interested. I am in fact one of many who are and will be interested for days to come, for as long as you build and love your AU, as it becomes whatever completion you dreamt of it to be, so on and so forth, even if one day you stop.

I’m finna be there bruh, late or on time.  

And imma let you know that right now as you reading this. You actually asked me first about your AU and lemme tell you, you beat me to it. I actually have fanart for you. AND was gonna find a time to ask you first.

(~(>_<。)＼ Usually I'm ready to send art cause I plan before hand, but someone used a wrist twist move on me for fun recently. ಥ_ಥ)

Anyway, moving forward.

Frisk and Chara of SacredFell: I enjoy teh designs. And me personally, I like Frisks design, the fact Frisk went through multiple design phases is nice to know. Would you ever show Frisk's previous designs?

Oof, you changed SacredFell Sans height from 5’2 to 6ft, damn what a stretch. And he part of the Royal Guard, whoa! 😆hotsome big skeleman.

Also, I love the art style of @/melikitinas, too. 💖

Feb 14: … ScaredFell Papyrus…. I-... 11ft height, yeah, we gonna need a height chart. I short, so they a fucking tree at this point, imagine Paps just bending at the waist towards a shorty like me, he’s gotta be prone on the ground or something. AND his fine ass a 2nd in Command Royal Guard, too. ○( ＾皿＾)っ AWWHEHESJDHWU ✨

Feb 21: LORE Ah, so the beginning is different, interesting. *reads through it with glasses* (I was recently working on my other OCs at the time as well :D.) 

Yukki sounds like a good character! And portaled? Oooooh, portaled, I wanna know backstory! 

Did Yukki not go through the ruins? She just collapsed in Snowdin? Was she unconscious the entire time she was taken to Asgore, up until Toriel saved her?

And usually humans, are strong, is Yukki weak due to something? (you don’t have to reveal too much lore unless you wanna) How much power does Yukki have? Why does it drain so quickly? 

Also, love Toriel, to save one instead of all, what a mother. Even if Yukki wasn’t her own, that was such a big sacrifice for the price of saving one child over freedom. I would love to see how you draw that part out.

And Toriel left Yukki behind the waterfalls, why not take Yukki with her? 

Why out of all the souls, Kindness was taken, would this serve as a significant plot point in the AU?

Would Yukki grow to harbor bad intent or negative emotions towards the monster or would she end up sacrificing herself after understanding the monster’s want for freedom, would she find another way, would she resort to genocide at some point(despite her being weak)? 

Would Toriel come in clutch next time Yukki is in grave danger? 

And what plans would Asgore have after he gets Toriel, I would’ve expected that he wanted Toriel dead, not with a bounty on her head to be returned ALIVE to his home. I'm probably just thinking to the extremes. 😂

I like this plot. I’d love to know how Frisk and Yukki will come together. And if within the one or two years, Yukki stayed with Sans and Papyrus, would the brothers falter when they need to get their jobs done for Asgore when the time comes? Would Sans and Papyrus eventually come to value Yukki as their own friend? Does Yukki know Sans and Papyrus are working to gain her trust to betray her in the end? 

Also is Toriel and Sans doing the knock knock joke through the gate in this AU too? What’s Toriel’s relationship with the characters so far? Within the time Yukki was living in the Underground, does she come to meet Toriel again?

Feb 23: YUKKI I agree Yukki is a main focal point in the beginning of this AU, I really like this. I can’t wait to see how you build this lore up. Would Toriel act again when Frisk comes? Would Toriel talk to Frisk about Yukki? How old is Yukki again? To me, Yukki looks like she has a strong presence, tongue sticking out, seems playful. ✨

Feb 27: Comic Heh. Middle school art is always nostalgic to look back on. I wish I still had some of mine. I threw most out due to the fact, I didn’t want physical evidence of my cringe art tying back to me, but looking back on it now. I was stupid and paranoid. 

Now cringe art is one of my favorite art pieces to discover, it brings a certain emotion outta you, am I right? Yeaahh.  

Anyway, I admire you for sharing your old art and comic. 

An AU, especially when a creator is lovingly dedicated to it, can become hectic and mentally crowded and out of order, or as you say “all over the place.” Good luck on that journey, creating comlex stories is hard! I was overwhelmed by my own ideas and burned out at some point and stopped entirely. You make me wanna go back to my little world.

And Yukki and SacredFell Sans look like they get along noicely. yukki hand on her hip, confidence and power ✨👌 makin' Sansy sweat.

Mar 7: Yay Toriel Character Sheet Me like tall woman. She taller than Sans, haha. I gotta learn how to draw a goat at some point. And she looks good in my opinion. Do SOUL Protectors gain power from the souls? Wouldn't they accidentally at some point absorb the soul? Has any of the protectors even thought of doing that? Doesn't the barrier need one monster soul and one human soul to break the barrier, or is that different in this AU?

Mar 11: Another comic redraw, SacredFell Asgore WIP

Aw SacredFell Sans and Yukki smiling together, your old drawing of them is cute. ANd that’s a jump, good to know they're out of the underground. Hope you eventually find the right design for Yukki, that you’re gonna be satisfied with. I’m excited to find out how they got out of the underground, too.

so how do you think Shuhei would deal with having a crush (who is this cute, gorgeous, little lady) who is asked who they find the most handsome in appearence? (Probably by Rangiku tbh xD. I imagine Shuhei, Izuru and Rangiku and crush hanging out). And crush is like “Kenpachi and Renji, it’s the scars and tattoo’s to be honest… i’ve spoken to other women and they talk about how handsome Byakuya is, but I just don’t see it”. (You wrote shuhei worries about his scars and tattoos)?

“does she see me or just my tattoos?” HAHAA shuhei is insecure in every little thing! i think his scars bring back some sad, nostalgic memories. it reminds him of his peaceful student days, of his fellow comrades who sacrificed in the battlefield, of his defected taicho who taught him the philosophy of battle for justice. he also thinks the scar is there to push him to be stronger, for the sake of his loved ones. as for the 69 tattoo, he's getting flushed cheeks after learning what it means in the modern world of living. but a part of him was still grateful for that incident bc he got to meet his muguruma-taicho. (got his ass saved and threateningly cheered him up too lol) so yeah, he got it tattooed out of respect. no regrets.

now, we can't say the same for the other tattoo. (i first thought it's a stripe/bandage or an accessory?? like it's just there for fashion?? lolol) i mean…i wouldn't have known why he got it. nobody knows. kubo-sensei needs to do some explanation here pls. but i can imagine shuhei looking into the mirror daily and be like “what tf were you thinking back then??” pat his back and tell him it's okay. everyone went through that phase. 😌

if his crush complimented kenpachi and renji for their tattoos and scars, shuhei would feel a bit conscious around these two. he might even stalk them out of curiosity. like “what do they have that i don't?”

rangiku would be laughing her ass off bc he got fired up over the smallest things his crush commented on. “he's a simp! that's what the youngsters in the world of living would call him!” she cackled while elbowing the facepalming kira beside her.

shuhei might go to the squad 11, using training as an excuse but he won't stop eyeing their spiky haired taicho the entire time. eventually, kenpachi would notice that and confront him about it. poor shuhei is shaking under this 6ft tall man, spilling the beans about his crush.

kenpachi just…doesn't understand. and he doesn't care i guess. he have no interest in dating and stuff, he's all about instinct and fight. but since shuhei brought this to his attention, he figured he can do whatever he wants about it. he's straightforward so he came up with the dumbest idea ever. “your woman like scars? then, fight me and get more scars!” rip shuhei 💀

okay now we've come to renji. i vaguely remember he got his tattoo after he graduated from the shinigami school. i also remember shuhei once lead his class on a field training and the trio (kira, renji and hinamori) was gushing about him.

my theory is, renji got inspired by shuhei about tattooing. (imagine kira trying to talk him out of it but renji was all “but hisagi-san is so badass with those! i want it too!!!”) so if shuhei ever voiced his concern about it, i think renji would know how to reassure him.

but don't trust his suggestion though. his fashion sense can be as bad as shuhei's guitar playing. “hisagi-san! you should get this glasses! you'd look cool with it!!” (it's so bad that ichigo want to pretend he dk these two on the street)

this is an off topic but lemme rant about byakuya a bit HAHA i rmb the first time i saw him i'm like “okay not the type of guy i'd like. thank you, next.” then i got into past arc and TEEN BYAKUYA!! HES A TSUNDERE 😍 HES SO CUTE I CAN'T!! 😫 but yeah that was pretty short-lived and we never see his tsundere tendencies again. (maybe there is…but he's more of a kuudere now) and i'm kinda torn in between “i only like him in his teenage!!” and “should i just love him as a whole??” basically i just refused to admit i like him 💀

I was tagged by @eve-to-adam, so here we go! It might get long, so buckle up for the ride. 😂

1. How many works do you have?

I couldn't tell you a number, because I've had multiple stories over the years. Some were short comics for semester projects I had to do back in uni, others were WIPs I started and abandoned, others are ongoing personal storytelling projects I'm working on at the moment.

2. What fandoms do you write for?

I don’t really write for any fandom right now, I prefer to focus on my own, original stories and OCs. But I wouldn’t put that idea past me entirely, with the way my hyperfixations work, you just never know. 😂

3. What are your top 5 stories by kudos?

I don't really want to make a top, but some of my favorites include a few short stories I wrote for Project Paranormal, which is a shared universe I'm co-creating with Andreea (@eve-to-adam) and about which I'll be talking about at Question 9.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Absolutely I do! I even went to war with the “promote it on ->” bots on Instagram at one point, by replying with passive-aggressive comments, so. 🤣 Jokes aside, people who take their time to interact with my work and express their support mean the world to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to have them around. And those who even come back regularly? You deserve the world and I love ya 🥹✨

5. What’s the story you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hmm… Depends what you'd consider “angsty”. I guess one that could count would be a short, horror graphic novel I've done for uni. One of the main characters dies, while the other ends up in a mental institution, unsure whether the previous events truly happened or not, but haunted by some… otherworldly things that tend to suggest everything has, in fact, happened. I wouldn't necessarily see it as angsty per se, because that was never the aim when I wrote that ending, but it’s the only one I could think of.

6. What’s the story you wrote with the happiest ending?

Do on-going storylines whose development I know, count? Whatever, I’ll pretend they count. 🤣

I would say one of the happiest ones would be Hubert and Dolly's relationship (two of my OCs from Project Paranormal). Even though they didn't start on the best of terms, they ended up progressively discovering they actually... enjoyed each other's company, once they started chatting like, you know, normal people who weren't looking for a silly argument just for the sake of it. Because that's what they were doing in the beginning; their personalities clashed in a way that turned all their encounters into a match of "who annoys who first". To the point where they couldn't even remember what was the precise starting point of that whole thing. 😂 But then, little by little, once they started opening up, they both fell for each other pretty damn hard. Their relationship was obviously not gonna be without any hardship, because they both had their own flaws and things to work through (especially Hubert), but they found a tremendous amount of love and support in each other. They realized they simply… get each other, you know, on a level they couldn’t have anticipated, but which was there to last for a lifetime! So yeah, they’re definitely getting their happy ending. :D

7. Do you get hate on stories?

Not that I’m aware of. And even if I did, I wouldn’t… really care that much? ‘Cause I’m not writing for them haters, lemme tell you. 😂

8. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I like to depict sex and intimacy in my stories, so yeah, my writing kinda covers that stuff too. I usually prefer to go with the flow in those instances and see where the scene is taking me, in terms of description. Whether it’s gonna get more explicit or it’s gonna be a “fade to black” thing, depends entirely on the moment itself. I also like to be as character-centered as possible in my approach (which applies to every aspect of my storytelling, for that matter). I wanna take into consideration each character’s relationship with sex and intimacy, when I’m describing them; slight nuances to convey the moment in the same way each character is experiencing it, you know. What things they like, how they like them, how they communicate with partners etc. Like, take Delicia for example (my OC from Project Paranormal): she’s an experienced gal who likes to be creative in the bedroom (and outside) and is slightly more into the rough side of physical love, so depictions might get more blunt and slightly more explicit in her case. But at the same time, it wasn’t always like that, was it? Because she, like everyone else, had her own starting point, her own journey with intimacy and self discovery. And I want to capture that feeling as I’m writing her character. I want to capture that feeling with all of my OCs; I’m always trying my best to write as naturally as I can, to make the story really feel as if it’s a close look into one’s life and experiences. The spicy scenes are no exception to that! :D Now, whether I’m successful in this approach or not, is a completely different topic, but that’s beside the point. 😂

9. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Not necessarily, but I do have one ongoing storytelling project that could technically count. It's a shared universe I'm co-creating with my friend, Andreea (@eve-to-adam). For the sake of this post I code named it “Project Paranormal” because it pops up for some other questions.

It's basically a story that revolves around two main families (Marlowe, written and created by me, and Elkins, written and created by Andreea) and their lives, as well as extra folks like friends, lovers, their pets etc. It's a romance meets supernatural (there are ghosts, ghouls n’ curses) meets historical fiction (it spans over the entire 20th century and goes until present day) meets drama type of story, with slice of life sprinkled all over. The slice of life aspect is kinda my favourite, because I generally enjoy writing the everyday experiences of my characters, those that don't necessarily tie into a specific plot point; like some sort of a “fly on the wall” approach. The story has a main plot, of course, and a main timeline of events, but under that we're essentially having fun with all sorts of storylines and moments. Right now I would say it's an open format story/universe, meaning we're drawing/writing different out-of-order parts and tidbits, but ultimately they all tie into that main timeline and plot we've set. So, at the end of the day, the story can always be put together chronologically, into a graphic novel type of format.

Ah shit, I almost forgot. The “crazy” bit about it (Andreea mentioned it in her own post as well) is that it all kinda started from a bunch of sims we created in Sims 4 one day. We were simply chatting and having a laugh about it and then we went “🤨…🤔” and bam! here we are today, with a bunch of Marlowe and Elkins generations and their storylines. 😂 ❤️

10. Have you ever had a story stolen?

Either I haven't OR the thief is hiding exceptionally well, I can’t tell. 😂

11. Have you ever had a story translated?

Does self translation count? 😂 If so, then yeah. I usually write in my native language, but I translate into English once I decide to post some of it online. The funny thing is, the English translation actually improves the writing in some cases (specifically the dialogues!), because I have some English, Irish and Scottish peeps amongst my OCs, and in their case I can play with things like slang, accents, cussing etc, which gives a more natural vibe to their conversations (and is kinda fun to work on).

12. Have you ever co-written a story before?

I’m currently doing that with Project Paranormal (see Question 9)! :D

13. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

— Aragorn&Arwen from The Lord of The Rings, always! They're probably one of my oldest ships, too, and they will always hold that special place in my heart. Aaand they’re definitely the reason why, to this day, I have a big thing for elf+human couples in fiction. XD

— Bill&Frank from The Last Of Us (show version), because people finding their lil’ corner of love and happiness in a dying world?? Hell yes, all the yes! 🥺

14. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hmm… There is this one fantasy story I've been trying to put together for the past 2 years or so, but at the moment I kind of lost my passion for it. I tried to rethink and revive it in 2023 and it worked for a while, but ultimately I put it back on the shelf again, at least for now. In a way I wish I will regain that passion to continue, because I have some characters there whose stories I'd still like to tell, but right now I don't see it happening. Besides, I have other story ideas I want to test (and possibly pursue) right now. But who knows? Maybe one day?

15. What are your writing strengths?

Okay I totally suck at identifying my own strengths, lmao. 😂 But let's give it a try. I would like to think I'm good at allowing my characters to shape the language I'm writing with, instead of me shaping the language for them. I always love when, in literature, dialogues sound like things people would say in real life, or when the writing imitates the manner of speech people use on a daily basis (one of the reasons why I like Stephen King’s writing style, for example). I strike to achieve the same in my stories, so I give my OCs the freedom of talking in their own, individual ways.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to write too slowly for my own liking. I'm also a bit of a scatterbrained type of writer; let's say I write a certain scene, when suddenly I wanna jump to a totally different one. Nothing wrong with that, of course! But in my case, at the end of the day, I either end up in a writer’s void and I can't write for either scene anymore, OR I constantly switch back and forth between them and I can't concentrate on either one. Sucks to be me sometimes. 😅 But I'm trying to improve this in myself, so let's hope for the best!

17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a story?

It’s a pretty cool thing and I like seeing it in stories. It's a concept I'd like to play with, too. For example, some of my characters from Project Paranormal have Portuguese ancestry and speak the language: Delicia was taught by her mum, Dolly, and by grandpa Thomas (Dolly's father). I'd like to think Dolly and her lil’ lass would frequently switch to chatting in Portuguese, during Delicia's formative years, which helped her learn the language and become fluent (and later on in life, Delicia will do the same with her own daughter). So, naturally, I'd love to have at least a glimpse of those conversations in the story as well! :D However, I will have to rely on the mighty internet to help me with that, because I don't know any Portuguese. XD

18. First fandom you wrote for?

Ooooh, you’re digging up very old memories with that one. I think the first fandom I ever attempted to write for was InuYasha, an anime I watched and enjoyed back in the day, when I was a bit more into the anime scene. But you can imagine how that went, considering I was like 12 years old or something like that. 😂

19. Favourite story you’ve ever written?

The most recent one I did. It's called “By The Alley” and it's a short story from Project Paranormal that features two of my OCs: Hubert and Paddy. I like the story flow I managed to capture there and I feel like I'm finally finding my writer voice, so to speak. I also had a lot of fun writing their dialogues! Both Hubert and Paddy were born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire (although Paddy has Irish heritage) and they are “raised by the streets” kinda guys. The way they speak reflects that pretty well, so I had fun trying to put some of those nuances in their speech. And the cussing, I loved writing the cussing. I discovered this to be a very odd pleasure of mine, writing people who curse. 😂 And Hubert's definitely the right person for that, because the man has no filter whatsoever (with Delicia being a close second – like father, like daughter, am I right?). 😂

Probably either The Life and Times of Sirius Black (canon complaint w/ major character death) or I guess What In The World Has Come Over You? (A bad things happen bingo prompt fill with no resolution of the aforementioned bad thing and an open ending. Which I personally dislike more than a sad concrete ending)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I think probably Would you be so kind. But I’m generally a sucker for a happy ending so there’s a fair number of happy endings

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really? In my early fandom days a little bit, but I am a huge fan of the block button so. Now I don’t.

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Do I write it? Yes. Does it ever get finished and/or posted? Not as much. Pretty much everything I’ve written has just been PWPs that I either haven’t finished or don’t like enough to post.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve ever written?

I have posted one (1) crossover and it was an mcu/itsv crossover. It was originally part of a slightly more ambitious series, which was a post-no way home, post-into the spiderverse, mid-canon shattered dimensions crossover. (Despite the fact that shattered dimensions is a fairly unknown (in larger fandom) spiderman game from 2010). Miguel’s characterization is a bit different in that game than in across the spiderverse and after atsv came out I was like. This is going to be torn to shreds by people who have seen that movie and have no other frame of reference for him. No thank u. (Don’t get me wrong! I love atsv! They’re just two different versions of the same character okay).

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge. Someone asked me if they could repost one of my fics once and I was like ??? No??? And I kept an eye on them for a bit but they didn’t so 🤷‍♂️

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but if someone wanted to that would be fucking amazing. So If there’s any interest lemme know 👀

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Again, this is one of those ‘yes but it never saw the light of day’ things again. My partner and I had a fic that we outlined and started writing together almost four years ago but we both just kinda lost interest/started writing less. It still lives on in my drafts though.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Hm. That’s a hard one honestly. Maybe Rory/Jess?

There are many wips on my computer, many of which will never see the light of day (the current wip count right now is 112). One I would have liked to finish is the Spider-Man one I mentioned before but honestly. I am fairly certain I won’t.

Jk ily, now here's my submission for the surprise date thingy and lemme tell you, I'm sooo happy they're still open.

Now, about me, hmm, where do I start... am a bit of a weirdo, I guess, or well, I've been told that I am a very unusual personality. If you'd like, I could provide some insights on my physical appearance, but I deliberately left that out, as I believe that falling in love has little to do with bra size and eye color.

I am a very private person; I take some time to warm up and won't do that with anyone, but once I am comfortable, I am very passionate, talkative and have been told I have a wicked sense of humour. Also, while I am fairly introverted, I am by no means shy or a pushover; in fact, I have no problem speaking my mind, even if others think it is weird. I do have a clear idea of what I want, but I am not stuck on it and always open to new things and perspectives.

In my free time, I draw and paint a lot, experimenting a lot with different mediums and styles. I also enjoy gardening and cooking, reading, and spending lots of time alone in nature, be it on walks, with my boat on the river or also rock climbing. I am very interested in history, particularly military and art history; trying to reconstruct how the daily life of the people really was like is very interesting to me. And the thought that all of it already happened and nobody can change it also is strangely comforting to me. I also love systems; building them and exploring them in my mind to make sense of the world.

My MBTI type is INTJ and my Enneagram type is 4w5 (I find tests like these very interesting, because they help me make sense of my own and other people's emotions which I struggle with at times).

I value smartness (even though I think of myself as arrogant for it), creativity, uniqueness and individualism. What really annoys me is things like drama, gossip and being forced into smalltalk.

I am into men, and character-wise, I'd love any of the clones, or, if that's not possible, a villain.

Not much is known about this guy, and he prefers it that way. He won't necessarily go out of his way to maintain his mystery, but he will also prefer your date be in a part of town he knows his clone brothers don't frequent. He'll say it's to explore a new place, but secretly he's nervous and doesn't want anyone to know. What if you don't like him? What if he messes up the date somehow? He'd be so embarrassed.

Thankfully he doesn't have anything to worry about, at least as far as the date is concerned. He walks up to you with his helmet beneath his arm and you can't help but comment on what seems to be a hand-painted design. This immediately launches you two into conversation about art, which leads into sharing about all the crafty projects you've both been working on, which then turns into chat about other pastimes you share. You'll be amazed at how much this guy does in what little spare time he has, and he'll be equally enthralled by how easy it is to talk to you.

You'll have walked side-by-side in conversation all over the city, barely aware of your surroundings as you learn more about each other. Blackout regrets that time slipped away so quickly, he'd wanted to treat you to a drink or dessert or something. His nerves return at the end, worried he didn't take good enough care of you to warrant his ask for a second date. If you gave him another chance, though, he'll definitely prove himself worthy of your affections. You'll be one of the rare few in the galaxy he lets close.

🥺 - Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

I get emotional over small, unspoken gestures of affection. Silently taking someone's hand, touching their shoulder when they seem about to break, sitting together and leaning into one another for support...it's those little intimate gestures that always get to me, the profound depth of affection that comes from knowing what someone's going through and wanting to provide some kind of comfort. Makes my heart warm every time.

🛒 - What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

'Dark is Not Evil' is one of my biggest themes that shows up in my work, sometimes combined with 'Mirroring Factions.' I've had a fascination with the philosophy of The Other for longer than I can honestly remember -- and the core of that interest has always been in humanizing those who would otherwise be maligned. It's a huge aspect of my Awakening fics, underpinning the extensive worldbuilding I've put together for Plegia!

💖 - What made you start writing?

are we talking about in the beginning or after the extended break?

Because in the beginning I started writing because I wanted to make shameless Pokemon Special fic inserting my OCs (and let's be real, I haven't exactly stopped doing that, it's just evolved like a pokemon). I picked up writing after the extended break because I'd gotten myself obsessed with Awakening and my conspiracy theory about Grima wouldn't leave me alone and so began Future Built, which I posted on AO3 as a challenge to myself to put my writing out there for the first time in years.

💌 - How do you feel about comments and feedback?

I always love getting comments and hearing feedback! I'm technically very behind in my AO3 comment replies (the past year has been rough) but I try my best to reply to every comment that comes in because I really do appreciate hearing what people think! Writing is my passion, and I love getting to talk about the stories that I work so hard to craft, so seeing a new comment always brightens up my day!

👀 - Tell me about an up and coming wip please!

also on the list of plans that haven't made it onto the Masterlist, there's another Awakening war story. Chrom's father is still alive and well and continuing his war against Plegia; intending to bypass Emmeryn in the line of succession since she can't wield Falchion, he brings Chrom with him as he makes his latest push past the mountains and into the Grimleal nation. Their progress is repeatedly stymied by the appearance of Plegian forces, led by a powerful sorcerer in a skull helm wielding a Levin Sword and a Thoron Tome, who repeatedly break up the Ylissean supply lines to thwart their progress. With each successive bout the Ylissean prince and the apparent Plegian general learn more about one another, and when circumstances leave them stranded far from their armies they're forced to rely on one another to survive.

(A not insignificant reason this story exists is because I wanted to have a joke where Robin calls Chrom 'Prince Chrom' and Chrom counters with "it's just 'Chrom,'" leading Robin to literally call him 'Just Chrom' for ages because he thinks that 'Just' is a title for princes in Ylisse the way that 'Exalt' is how they address their ruler.)

Oh, I'm always up for questions about my fics, both finished or otherwise! If there's a question, I'd love to answer it (or at least make hints if it otherwise gets too deep into spoiler territory). I love reader interaction, it's always a highlight when I get a story or writing question in my inbox!

I think I do a good job with dialogue! It's fun to write, and I feel like I do a good job of giving each individual character a unique voice, so it's easier to tell who's speaking at any time even if there's no identifier to tag them.

(I also like to think that I'm pretty good at constructing narratives to fulfill their unique, specific purposes -- like Cursed Fate with its repetitive fairytale structure, gradually revealing the events of the past until we learn how Robin died. I thought that turned out very nicely.)

Maybe possible hints here and there when he’s frustrated but overall, Andreas doesn’t cry. Crying is weakness, it’s the human form appearing in what is meant to be an iron fortress. Plus, sobbing doesn’t do anything to solve any issue at hand. It just wastes time and makes you look like a mess in the end.

However, what he does do instead is easy! Not speak about the issue at hand until he either snaps or just solves the problem. It’s unhealthy, sure, but it saves Andreas some face and lots of time.

Charles

Charles!!! Can’t cry for real, but he can cry on command! It’s not that he just doesn’t like crying, he doesn’t come up in sad situations. Even through the most painful events of his life, he’s never shed a tear for any of them. Rather, he just sorta stared into space. Now that he’s older and more experienced, it’s unknown what he’d do now.

👊 PUNCH - are they quick to violence?

Andreas

Depends if u can push him far enough, rlly✨

But most times, usually not! Violence is ugly, brutish, and should only be used when it is absolutely necessary. Andreas assumes violence to be something that criminals and idiots do. He likes keeping up a clean and powerful image, and is horribly snobbish towards delinquents and known fighters in general. He thinks they’re weak for letting their heart overpower their brain.

That said, if someone really, really wanted to fight him, calling him weak enough times should do. It’s an immediate punch to the face if you comment about how he’s not fit as a leader.

Charles

Yes. Absolutely. Preferably with something hot.

But in all seriousness, Charles doesn’t and never will mind violence. The shattering of one’s ego and face sends him in a high. It doesn’t matter who’s looking for a fight, Charles is going in head-first (or fire first if there’s no rules).

It’s comedy for him; something to do, watching someone’s face turn from pride to rage to fear. Hell, Charles himself wonders what he looks like in a losing fight. Is there blood? Tears? Or would he be cracking a smile as usual?

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

Andreas

HE REACTS SO BADLY AND HES BEEN THROUGH THIS 2-3 TIMES. From his family breaking apart to Kendrick getting hurt by their mother’s hands, Andreas’ childhood was littered in misfortune. His empathy has been wearing thin as he gets older, however. He barely blames himself for anyones issues, even if he knows he can help them out. Andreas, who used to throw out a hand and a pledge to help, is now just straightforward and harsh. He blames whoever got hurt or tells them to just get up and walk it off.

He already has so many empty promises to fulfill, so Andreas won’t dig that hole any deeper than it already is.

Charles

Like Andreas, Charles simply doesn’t care! He’ll laugh at it, even. Most misfortunes and injuries are commonly caused by him, but he’s gotten so used to being the issue that he just stopped being considerate. It’s funny if someone else caused it, though.

More symbolism in how Charles’ design is representative of a literal fire but ofushshgd. A fire doesn’t have a saving grace or thought of elimination, it just burns whatever is in the way of it. Humans, animals, nature itself, it doesn’t matter. They’ll all be hurt one way or another. Charles embodies that through his lack of sympathy towards anyone or anything, even himself.
