Wulf the Barbarian #2 (April, 1975). Cover by Larry Hama and Klaus Janson (with assists from "Crusty Bunkers": Neal Adams, Pat Broderick, Ralph Reese, Ed Davis, Wally Wood, Bob McLeod, Vincente Alcazar, Paul Kirshner, and Jack Abel). The witch in the background was redrawn by Larry Lieber (Stan Lee's brother).
Wulf was one of two barbarian heroes, the other being Iron-Jaw (no, not the Golden Age bad guy who tussled with Crime Buster) from upstart comic book company Atlas/Seaboard. They were created to compete with Marvel's very successful Conan the Barbarian book.
They didn't succeed. Wulf the Barbarian and Iron-Jaw only lasted four issues each and then were gone. Atlas/Seaboard didn't last much longer itself, shutting down less than 18 months after opening for business.
