light my morning sky |rockstar!eddie munson x nepo baby!reader|
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
prompt: three wedding ceremonies, and it's stop number two in vegas. a night with your friends, celebrating you the way both of you love, and it leads to a rather intense wedding night for the two of you in sin city.
contains: minors dni. smut. fluff but mainly smut. drugs and alcohol, overall just partying in vegas. getting married in vegas. dom!eddie x sub!reader. bratty overtones to sub!reader. more of a soft!dom with rockstar!eddie bc he's in loooveeeee. spanking with implement (paddle/crop). thigh riding kinda. crawling. pinvsex. language. nothing too harsh or mean bc it's their (second) wedding night lol.
"I now pronounce you married." Elvis, or one of his many replicas on the strip, rasped in his low, exaggerated drawl mimicking the beloved singer. His hair perfectly coiffed, sideburns trimmed, and dressed in a black jumpsuit with wings, red and gold sequins trim.
Flamboyant, over the top- it was Eddie's dream.
Eddie grinned at you, his hands in yours, thumb brushing over the large stone on your left hand. He looked like The King himself in his white tasseled suit, pointed collar, and blue beading down the deep V of his shirt- an identical suit made to look exactly like Elvis' infamous jumpsuit from his time in Las Vegas in the 70's. It had been a prop in some show your father was producing, one that you and Eddie borrowed after the wedding.
"Eddie, you may now kiss your little darlin' here." The officiant grinned, stepping back towards the faux-rose garland, strung with bright lights.
Your heart swelled in your chest, just as light and giddy as the first ceremony, letting Eddie cup your face, pulling you in to seal with a kiss, far more passionate and needy than the ceremony in California.
Cheers erupted from the small crowd of friends you'd rallied for the big day- well, the second big day. Their booze soaked giggles and screeches mashed to the tune of Can't Help Falling In Love pouring out of the static filled old speakers. Flashes blinded your vision, even behind your closed eyes, camera clicks and bright snaps of camera light capturing every moment.
For a moment, you tensed, aware of your rounded shoulders, of Eddie's hand grabbing at your ass, eyes opening and cutting towards the aisle. Jonathan stood there, face hidden by the camera. Eddie had insisted his friend from Hawkins come instead, replace the snooty photographer that had done the ceremony before. Your parents had raved about him, but Eddie didn't see what the big deal was with him. He just made you both look so stiff, so unnatural in your portraits.
Eddie's hand slid up the silk material of your tiny dress, gripped onto your hip, bunching the material. You could feel his wedding band in the small of your back when he pressed his hand there, steadying you before he tipped you back. A deep dip of a kiss, your thigh hiked around his hip.
The small bouquet of white roses you'd bought at the front of the chapel fell onto the patterned carpet, your friends' screeching and whooping laughs ignited by the dramatics. They expected nothing less from Eddie- from both of you.
"Lord have mercy," The officiant laughed, fanning himself dramatically, long metallic sleeves rippling. "These two have lots of hunk-a, hunk-a burnin' love, don't they folks?"
Eddie could feel your lips twitch against his, a snort of a giggle, hot air blowing against his lip. His dopey and dimpled grin met you when you finally pulled apart. It left you weak, blistering in his intense, love filled gaze.
A pop of Perignon filled the room, Gareth and Farrah bumbling closer with two glasses, trying to stop the excess spilling over. A celebratory toast to the two of you, to keep your buzz going after the break in the bender you took for the ceremony.
Since you'd landed on Thursday night, the party hadn't stopped. Liquor flowing, loud music, sloppily piling into a stall with your own friends, taking bumps off your room keys before stumbling back to the club in your designer shoes, ready to keep the party going.
The afterparty was no different. Tucked away in a private villa at Ceasar's, you didn't make it to the club. Eddie had insisted he had to go first, nearly pushing Jeff over to get to the door, scooping you up in his arms and walking you through the door.
"Watch your fuckin' head, baby- don't lean back." You could smell the alcohol on his breath, a pungent mixture of too many to name, mixed with the faintest whiff of smoke from his cigarettes.
It didn't take long for Nick to find the boom box, blaring his party mixtape at a wall shaking volume, everyone scattering. Some to the kitchen to scour through the piles of empty bottles for a full one, others to collapse into the couch and let someone line up a pick me up before plunging in the hot tub outside.
"You," Eddie slurred, his head dipping down to press against your forehead. "Look so fuckin' beautiful." Nose brushing against yours, red from his own party favors.
You giggled nasally, blinking blearily eyed to focus on him to close to you. The effects of the tequila and champagne and hodge podge of liquor you'd mixed and consumed catching up with you.
"You know what, baby? You look really good, Mr. Munson." You whispered, hand cupping his jaw. "Like- hic!- too good to be fucking true."
"You're sweet talkin' me? Huh? Bein' s'nice to me?" Eddie grinned, fingers sinking into your hips.
"Yeah." You hummed.
"Tryna get my pants off or somethin', huh, baby? G-Get in my pants by bein' so sweet? You think that's gonna work?" Eddie teased, tilting his head to the side.
"Yeahhh..." You nodded, staggering against him, manicured nails raking down his bare chest. "We have to- to consummate the marriage, Ed."
"What?" Eddie furrowed his brows. "We gotta do what? Wait- I thought you wanted to fuck."
You laughed, head tilting back letting out that mean little cackle that always got Eddie worked up- a little mocking, mostly genuine. It left him flushed in heat, crawling up his chest and splattering over his cheeks.
"You dumbass, that is what that means." You rolled your eyes at him.
Eddie's eyes narrowed with you, catching your chin easily. "Oh? That's how you wanna play tonight, hm?" He shook his head, your body erupting in a fiery heat. "You're not gonna be nice to me?"
"I'm always nice to you." You countered, hand closing around his wrist gently, steadying yourself. "You're the one who's mean."
"Yeah?" Eddie grinned, eyes shining, glimmering in the low light of the room, the music from the other side thudding in a low roar, still shaking the walls. "You want me to be mean to you tonight? That's how you wanna do this?"
"Yeah." You sighed, a devious little grin that had Eddie's heart swelling, body buzzing with bouts of electricity. A shock to his system that brought him into something animalistic and primal and thrilling. Something new he only felt with you.
"I was hopin' you'd want to. Figured you would. Went ahead and got you a little somethin'." Eddie hummed, pulling you close into him. His breath hot on your cheek, booze soaked and warm on your skin.
"A gift?" Your eyes lit up, bright and devious all at once. Positively troublesome.
"Yeah. A gift. Just for you, baby." Eddie's lip dragged over your cheek, nose, hands sliding up your neck into your hair. "A wedding gift, but-but not for the wedding. For the after."
"Mm," You moaned lightly, his lips brushing with yours, teasing. Just enough to make you want to kiss him fully, leave you waiting and wanting more. "It's after now, Ed." You batted your lashes up at him.
"Is it?" Eddie muttered, fingers curling around your hair the back of your head.
"Yeah." You whispered, voice raspy from the liquor. "Time to give me my gift."
"Ooh, you're gonna be demanding?" Eddie pulled back from you, holding you at arms length so he could see you. Your pout, glassy eyes rounding instinctively- a classic look, teetering on demanding and begging, a signature look for you.
"'M not being demanding." You huffed, hands sliding over his arms. He could feel the diamonds of your wedding band scratch lightly over his skin. "You said you had a gift for me."
Eddie bit back a smirk, squeezing your shoulders with firm, gentle affection. You grinned triumphantly when he stumbled to his closet, puling a red gift bag tied together with a gold bow.
He smirked at your squeal of delight, hands clapping together excitedly when he gave you the bag. "What is it?" You beamed, a peal of excited, drunken giggles spilling from your chest.
"Open it." Eddie clicked, shaking his head at you. "What's in it- open the damn thing, baby. It's a present. 'M not tellin' you w-what I got you." His words slurred, still silly and playful.
You laughed, head spinning and intoxicatingly airy with glee, unraveling the gold spun ribbon with a dramatic tug of your hand. Underneath the piles of tissue paper, a long box lied at the bottom.
There, inside the felt lined box, a small heart shaped paddled. Black and leather, with a black, metal handle. It was small, smaller than most of Eddie's chosen paddles. The heart shape at the end firmer than the crop, not as flimsy as you expected.
"Look," Eddie pointed, swaying gently in front of you. He turned the handle clumsily around his hands before he turned it to you. There in etched gold, your names and the date carved into the metal handle.
"Ed." You cooed, head tilting back to meet his gaze. "You got this f'me?"
"Well, kinda." Eddie nodded. "I mean, for me to use on you, but yeah. Wanted something to-to remember this by."
Lips pulling in a smile, you stood, arms wrapping around his waist, pulling him flush to your own chest. "You're so sweet." You hum, swaying with him softly. "So sweet to me."
Eddie's cheeks flushed, matching the drunken red heat painted on his neck. "Yeah." He hummed, hands sliding over your cheeks, smearing your already rubbed off foundation, tilting your head back towards him.
"'M not gonna be sweet to you f'long." He muttered, lip twitching in a curling grin. Staticky prickles of excitement licked at your neck, shimmering all the way down to your core. Eddie's tongue ran over his teeth, brow raising. "That alright with you, baby?"
"Yes." You whispered, nails digging into his hands lightly, steadying yourself.
Eddie caught your chin, pulling your gaze towards him. "Who?" His tone dropped, low and raspy but punctuated.
The nervous, maybe excited, giggle spilled out of your lips before you could stop it. Eyes shining, swaying with excitement, you batted your lashes towards him. "Yes, Sir." You purred, hands sliding, nails raking down his forearms.
Eddie grinned, ducking down to catch your lips in a hungry kiss. Hand pressed to the small of your spine, you could taste the liquor on his tongue as it slid past your teeth. A sloppy, needy, alcohol fueled make out. Hands grabbing, pulling at the other, pushing your bodies closer and closer together until it felt like they might fuse together, mold into one. Hands sliding, bunching the material of your dress up your hips.
"Wait!" Your eyes flew open, pulling apart with an urgency that had Eddie jumping.
"What? What's wrong?" Eddie's brows furrowed, vision fading blearily in and out of focus.
"I forgot," You turned towards your suitcase. "I bought something special for tonight. S-Somethin' to put on." You muttered, swaying drunkenly, hands on his waist to steady yourself.
"Baby, it's alright. Just save it for tomorrow-"
"-No." Your tone was cutting, huffy with a hint of demanding- bratty. You did it best, Eddie supposed, his cock twitching at the sound.
He wanted to grab the paddle, haul you over his knee right then, feel you scratch and scream at him like old times. Instead, he let you stomp off, bunching a flash of white material to your chest, stumbling towards the bathroom.
It was worth it, Eddie decided. Legs spread on the edge of the bed, knee bouncing with anticipation until the doors opened.
"Are you ready?" He could hear your grin, hidden by the door.
"Yeah. Show me, baby. Come on out." Eddie's lips tugged in a half grin.
The door opened painfully slow, your own teasing reveal, until you stood before him in a tiny, white, see through lacy lingerie set. A classic, more scandalous and revealing than before. Bra and panties so revealing it left little to the imagination, hip hugging garter that connected to two leg holders, both with their own loops. Eddie pictured for a moment tying you up by them, stringing the rope through them, tying your legs wide open and spending the rest of the night- hell, the whole week in between them.
Maybe tomorrow night. Tonight, he had other plans.
Eddie's loud wolf whistle mixed with your bubbling giggles. "Holy shit, baby, look at you. No, look at me, but I wanna look at you." Eddie rasped, hands sliding over your exposed skin, rubbing the lace of your garter, pulling the tiny strap of your panties so it snapped to your skin.
"You like it?" You whispered, watching his eyes carefully. You knew he did. He always did.
"You kidding? Love it." Eddie grinned. "Worth the wait, beautiful."
Your cheeks burned with a rush of euphoric excitement, hands sliding up his shoulder, your ring sparkling even under the dim lights of the room.
"Ok, I'm ready now." You said boldly, lashes batting up to Eddie sweetly. "I just wanted to put this on for you."
"Oh? You're ready?" Eddie snorted lightly, lips curling in a smirk. "You callin' the shots?"
You huffed, an eye roll that had Eddie swallowing hard, trying to ignore the throbbing of his cock. "No," Your tongue clicked sarcastically. "Obviously you're in charge for right now."
"Oh, it's like that?" Eddie scoffed. "You're gonna act like that?"
"I'm not acting like anything, Ed." You bit your lip playfully. "I don't know what you're talking about." Oh, you were playful tonight. Eddie's heart swelled, palms twitching with excitement.
"Hm," Eddie hummed, tongue running down the inside of his cheek.
"Why don't you go get your gift." Eddie nodded towards the discarded paddle at the other end of the bed. You stepped towards it. "Nuh-uh-uh." Eddie clicked, head shaking.
"You know how you're supposed to get things for me." His eyes darkened, narrowing towards you.
Your thighs twitched, aching between them with a familiar heat. "Ed," Whiny and nasally, shoulders slumping for effect.
"You're gonna whine? C'mon, I know you know better." Eddie shook his head. "I don't wanna be mean to you tonight. Not too mean, anyways. Don't make me be mean. Go get your gift and bring it here, you know what to do. You be good for me, and I'll be good to you."
It didn't take much convincing, not when your head was spinning the way it was, desperate to please him. You knew he was true to his word, that he'd make you feel so good, which was exactly why you sunk to your knees. Crawling across the carpeted floors, you crept slowly towards the paddle.
Eddie watched through heavy lids, the sway of your hips, tiny panties riding up into your ass with every crawl. Your eyes met his when you raised up, gently grabbing the paddle off the bed. Eddie's heart lurched with excitement when you slipped it between your teeth, sinking back to your knees.
"Holy shit... Baby," Eddie groaned, leg shaking furiously when you rounded the corner of the bed, crawling straight for him. "Look at you. Jesus Christ, you know what you're doin'?"
You sunk back on your knees, settling between Eddie's open legs, eyes rounded so sweetly up at him it answered his question- you knew exactly what you were doing to him.
"'M just trying to be good." You whispered sweetly, head tilting to the side when he took to the paddle from you. "I just want to be so good for you always and forever, Mr. Munson."
Eddie thought he might snap the paddle in half, grip strangling in a tight hold around the pole. For a second, he contemplated again diving right between your legs, kinky foreplay be damned. Instead, he pulled you over his knee, let you straddle his thigh, covered cunt hot on his knee.
"Look at me." Eddie rasped, pulling your chin up, letting it rest on his chest, your body folded over his. "I wanna look at you. Wanna see you the whole time."
You pressed your lips together, swallowing back a pathetic whine. One hand cradling the back of your head, the other dragging the paddle along your exposed cheeks.
"You wanna be good for me?" Eddie whispered. You didn't reply, didn't get the chance to before the paddle snapped onto your ass. A jump, a whine, followed by Eddie's coaxing whisper back onto his knee.
"I asked you somethin', sweetheart." Eddie muttered, the crop tapping your other cheek. "You wanna be good for me?" Two sharp hits one to each cheek had you hissing.
"Yes." You hissed through gritted teeth, stilling your hips not to grind on him, hump his leg mercilessly. You knew that'd just fuel his cruel teasing even more.
"Yeah?" You yelped at the sharp sting.
"Yes, I wanna be good for you." Your spine ached at the uncomfortable bend in position, still you didn't dare move. It was true, you did want to be good for him.
"Are you going to be good for me?" Eddie whispered, nose nearly touching yours.
You bit back a giggle, stopped by three more sharp spanks of the crop to your ass, already itchy with growing agitation. "Yeah." Your eyes shone up at Eddie's, a silly, love sick grin that had him swooning.
"Yeah?" Eddie mocked back with a light snort. It was growing harder to keep the mean, domineering persona he tried to. When you were being this sweet, when you were being so good for him.
The crop fell again, this time your hips did roll. Just enough to dull the ache between your legs, a momentary release that had you melting further into his chest.
Eddie didn't miss it, pulling you closer to him, readjusting you on his thigh. "I don't know if I believe you." Eddie hummed, cracking the crop down again in short, sharp successions. "Are you really gonna be good to me? For the rest of time?"
You whimpered, hips rocking slowly, a steady rhythm that nearly had your eyes rolling back. The burning stretch of your ass mixed with the slow, pleasure-filled rolls of your hips.
"I will, I promise." You hummed in a high, breathy tone. "I swear I will be. I'll be a good wife for you. Forever and ever and ever."
Eddie's heart nearly burst at the words. How sweet they still sounded, even if you had technically been his wife for a few weeks now.
He let the paddle fall, his hands grabbing at your waist, pulling you into his lap. Lips on yours, your legs wrapping around his hips before he rolled the two of you, body slotting over yours, drunken giggles filling the air.
Hand intertwining with the other, Eddie's eyes rolled back at the feeling of your ring scraping over his when he finally slid into you. Mrs. Munson, forever. Forever his, just as he was forever yours.
Eddie had you pressed against the window of the suite, hips rutting into the fat of your ass, marked with the etching heart shape of the paddle. Overlooking the city's skyline, the sun was just beginning to peak over the horizon. Your cheek pressed to the window, Eddie's pressed to yours, skin smushed to skin, the two of you weren't close to being done. Just getting started, started on forever, started on a life together.
For now, in a hotel room in Vegas, insatiably happy and in love with one another. Mr. and Mrs. Munson, for the second time.

Edelgard von Hresvelg
Age: 21
Birthday: 22nd, Garland Moon (June)
Gender: Cis Female (She/Her)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Height: 157.48 cm (5’2 ft)
Weight: 54.43 kg (120 ibs)
Class: Noble -> Fighter -> Lord/Armored Knight
Alignment: Neutral Good
Main Canon/Bio: The house leader of the Black Eagles and heir to the throne of the Adrestian Empire. Very little is known about her childhood and teenage years, as she never really seems to discuss either. What she has divulged people in is that she did live in Fhirdiad, the capital of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, for a short while under supervision of her uncle, Lord Volkhard von Arundel. It is here that she met and befriended Dimitri Aldxandre Blaiddyd, crown prince of the Kingdom. This all took place during the Insurrection of the Seven, a soft coup led by a cabal of nobles that stripped the Emperor of Adrestia, Edelgard’s father Ionius IX, of much of his power. Once the Insurrection was over, Edelgard returned to Adrestia, and that’s where things begin to get unclear. Now that she’s older, there have been murmurings that she will soon ascend the throne, though she herself has not confirmed this.
Additional Background/Personality: Edelgard is known among the officers academy for being a dignified, and exemplary person, qualities that many teachers and mentors believe show that she is a natural born leader. She is a very modest young woman, and is noted for formal manner of speaking. She is also a hard worker, and it’s very rare and surprising to her peers to see her relax. However, there is something about her that not many are able to pinpoint, a certain melancholic gleam in her eyes. Though she claims that are a few people that she puts complete trust in, she is a very private person, and there are certain details about herself that she holds back. Though on the surface she seems to be a fearless and stoic leader, Edelgard actually has two major phobias, one being rats, the other being the ocean, due to her inability to swim. She also suffers from terrible nightmares which has led to her being something of an insomniac. Sometime she has to take walks around the monastery late at night to calm herself down, though the only person who knows this is Professor Byleth.
Appearance: She has a seemingly diminutive build, but it’s best not to be fooled by outward appearances, as underneath her clothes, Edelgard has fit and lean muscle that allows her to swing large battle axes with relative ease, even while wearing heavy armor. She has long white hair that flows all the way down to her rear. She always wears light blue ribbons in her hair, the same color as her eyes. In portraits that of her from when she was younger, her hair is shown as light auburn brown. Why exactly it’s coloring changed so drastically is unknown. Her facial features have been described as striking, but she is also known for her comforting smile. Her academy uniform consists of a dark velvety black dress, one that clings to her waist and with a skirt hem that is cut short and high above her knees. At a quick glance, some mistake the hem as a pair of a shorts. Around her neck hangs a complex, fluffy white collar piece. Her dress is also designed with ornate bronze-colored tassels. Over her left shoulder, she wears a red cape piece. For casual wear, she has a few sun dresses, most of which are dark red, but she also wears white button ups with a pair of trousers. For formal wear, she just wears her academy outfit.
Abilities: Edelegard’s weapons of choice tend to be in the axe department, which as previously stated, despite her rather short stature, she is still more than strong enough to swing even the heaviest of axes around with ease. Edelegard is proficient with a sword, though she doesn’t use them unless required to in a certain situation. Depending on the requirements for a mission, Edelgard also sometimes commands a gambit of a few dozen soldiers to remain close by her; said gambits often stampede and overwhelm an enemy on her command. Outside of battle, Edelgard is surprisingly proficient in the arts, skilled specifically at both dancing and painting, though she often feels embarrassed to show people these talents of hers.

Let Your Imagination Soar with Hot Air Balloon Theme Decoration
New Post has been published on https://happybirthdaydecor.com/balloons/let-your-imagination-soar-with-hot-air-balloon-theme-decoration
Let Your Imagination Soar with Hot Air Balloon Theme Decoration
Hot air balloons are a timeless symbol of adventure, exploration, and discovery. Balloon theme decorations are a great way to add a touch of whimsy and fantasy to any event. Whether it’s for a birthday party, wedding shower, or dinner party, hot air balloon decorations create an atmosphere of adventure and lightheartedness. Here’s how to make hot air balloon decorations that will take your party to new heights!
Choose the Right Color Scheme
Blue Hot Air Balloon Decor
The first step when creating any special event decoration is to choose the right color scheme. This helps make sure that all the elements of your design come together seamlessly. For hot air balloons, you want to choose colors that are light and airy — think yellows, oranges, pinks, purples, blues, and greens. You can also consider using more muted colors such as whites and beiges for a more subtle look. Once you have chosen your colors, it’s time to move on to the next step — gathering materials!
Gather Materials
When it comes to hot air balloon decorations, there is an endless array of materials you can use. The first step in creating a hot air balloon decoration is deciding on what type of balloons you want to use. You have many options, ranging from large helium-filled latex balloons with colorful tassels to smaller paper lanterns that can be hung from the ceiling.
Hot Air Balloon Baby Shower Centerpiece
Both types will create an amazing visual effect that will capture the attention of your guests. Finally, don’t forget about accessories such as ribbons and streamers in matching colors — these add texture and depth to your design. You can also purchase kits online that include all the materials necessary for making your own hot air balloons out of tissue paper or crepe paper. Once you’ve chosen your supplies, it’s time to start crafting!
Hot Air Balloon Centerpieces
Once you have gathered all of your materials, it’s time to start assembling them into an eye-catching centerpiece for your special event! Start by tying helium-filled latex balloons onto strings or ribbons and hang them from the ceiling at varying heights for added dimension. Then attach some smaller helium-filled latex balloons onto larger ones for added fun! Finally top off the centerpiece with tissue paper garlands or paper lanterns in matching colors for an extra touch of whimsy.
Outdoor Table Decoration For Wedding Hot Air Ballon Centerpiece Flowers
You can also create beautiful table centerpieces with hot air balloons by filling clear glass vases with helium-filled balloons and colorful streamers. Place these vases on each table and let them be admired by your guests! For an extra special touch, you can add personalized messages written on pieces of paper inside each balloon—a great way to make everyone feel special at your event. Alternatively, use mini hot air balloons made out of tissue paper and attach them to sticks as part of centerpiece arrangements on each table.
Hanging Balloons
A great way to bring the hot air balloon theme to life is by hanging large balloons from the ceiling. You can hang the balloons in clusters of varying sizes with different colors and ribbons to give your guests an “up in the clouds” experience. To make them even more eye-catching, add pictures of clouds or colorful paper cutouts that look like they are floating away in the wind. You can also fill each balloon with confetti or small trinkets as a surprise for your guests.
Diy Hotair Balloons Centerpieces
For larger gatherings and events, create hanging decorations featuring mini-hot air balloons! Start by giving each guest their own mini-hot air balloon with their name written on it. Hang these from a long piece of fishing line above the dance floor or main area where everyone will be gathered at various heights so that they look like they are floating through the sky! You can also hang them in groups to form different shapes such as stars or hearts. Finish off your display with some fairy lights for extra sparkle and shine!
Table Setting Accents
Turn ordinary table settings into something special with hot air balloons accents! Start by laying down decorative placemats with a hot air balloon pattern or imagery on them. Then, tie mini-hot air balloon figures onto napkin rings using colorful ribbon. For an added touch, you can also use markers or paint pens to write each guest’s name on the side of their mini-balloon so they know which one is theirs!
Hotair Balloons Accents
Photo Props
To capture memories from your event, try using photo props featuring miniature hot air balloons! These props can be made out of felt or foam and come in various shapes and sizes that will fit perfectly into your photos. You could even give them away as mementos after the party is over! Additionally, backdrops featuring puffy white clouds and pastel-colored skies will help bring together this theme when taking pictures with friends and family during the party.
Lamps & Lights
Lamps and lights are another great way to incorporate hot air balloons into your party décor. You can purchase lamps featuring hot air balloons or make one yourself using string lights and paper mache—it’s totally up to you! String lights also look great when hung from ceilings as well, creating a twinkling effect that is both beautiful and cozy all at once.

Fabulous Floral Pomanders for Weddings
youtube
Weddings aren't complete without floral centerpieces and other décor. If you have a passion for floral design and fresh flowers, it can be exciting to experiment with new techniques and styles. The pomander, a perfectly round ball of flowers usually hung from a ribbon, is one of the most charming styles of floral arrangement. Check out the many creative ways in which gorgeous floral pomanders can be used to decorate your wedding.
True confession: pomanders are my weakness. A large flower ball that is both circular and made completely of flowers exudes an air of carefree joy. They evoke the nostalgia and sweetness of a bygone era while looking like enormous polka dots at your wedding. Carnations, roses, daisies, and mums are the most common flowers used to make pomanders for weddings. Blossoms that are round and may be closely packed together are required. Since the flowers are used in such large quantities, it is preferable if they are reasonably priced per stem and can withstand being inserted into damp floral foam without being constantly watered (just like any bouquet flowers). Given these factors, carnations are without peer as pomander flowers.
A floral pomander is a lovely alternative to having your flower girl carry a basket at your wedding. Create a little sphere of flowers so as not to intimidate the child. Making her pomander out of the same flowers as the bridesmaids' bouquets would be a nice touch. Additionally, you may want to think about having pomanders as an alternative to bouquets for the bridesmaids. Flowers should be larger than the one the flower girl carries. One lovely option is to add accessories to the pomander that match the bridesmaids' jeweler. Suspend the floral orbs from a rope of faux pearls rather than a ribbon for a sophisticated look, especially if they plan to wear turquoise earrings.
Decorations made from pomanders are very highly regarded in the event planning industry. They may be used in a variety of ways, making them perfect for a ceremony in the great outdoors. For an outdoor wedding or other ceremony, pomanders in a rainbow of hues look beautiful strung from an arbore. Wrap floral garlands around the chair backs and tie them off in rows (this also makes a beautiful pew decoration for a church wedding). When used in an outdoor ceremony, pomanders look beautiful when hung on shepherd's hooks. Bright colors are the most effective since they "pop" when viewed from a distance. The colors hot pink, lime green, yellow, and brilliant purple are all excellent options. Contrasting bright colors, like cherry red and lime green, create a stunning effect. Fortunately, carnations are easily dyed, so you can get turquoise blue pomanders if that's what you prefer.
Elegant floral pomanders can be used in a variety of ways to adorn tables at the reception. When draped from the backs of the bride and groom's chairs at the reception, they add a sweet, personal touch. That's a lovely touch to add a bit of flair to each seat. Dinner chair pomanders don't have to be eye-popping as long as they don't match the chairs or tablecloths (for instance, white pomanders hung on white chiavari chairs would not have much of an impact). They are typically created with the same or similar flowers to the bride's bouquet. Accessories for the bridal party that match the bride's adornments, such as pomanders, are a lovely touch. To match the bride's pearl earrings, insert pearl-tipped hatpins between the flowers, or suspend a magnificent crystal tassel from the pomander's base.

Summer Wreaths For Your Front Entrance
Tumblr media
Summer is the perfect time to bring in the blooms with a wreath. Whether you're looking for something ultra-traditional or on-trend and boho chic, there's no shortage of floral options out there. A DIY summer silk hydrangea wreath can be added to your front door in minutes while adding a splash of color and a delicate texture that will add extra flair to your home this season.
Bring In The Blooms With A Wreath
Summer wreaths can be a great way to welcome guests into your home. A summer wreath can add a whole new look to your front entrance, and they give you an opportunity to get creative with color and texture.
There are many different kinds of flowers that you can use in a wreath, but some of the most common include daisies, roses and sunflowers. For this reason, these are also some of the most popular types of summertime bouquets for weddings or other special occasions. If you want something with a little more variety than just one color scheme or flower type - try picking out multiple colors from both varieties!
DIY Summer Silk Hydrangea Wreath
Materials
Hydrangea silk flower garland, enough to cover your wreath frame
Wire cutter and pliers
How to Make It
Remove the cardboard backing from both sides of the ribbon. Trim any excess from around the frame if needed.
Cut a piece of floral wire as long as you would like your garland to be, plus an extra 8-10 inches for hanging loops on each end of it.
Fold one end over itself away from where you want the loop to be; bend at another angle so that it creates an “L” shape or small circle shape when opened up again (you can also just twist one end). Repeat with other side so that each fold is opposite its partner—this will create two loops at each end when finished! 4. Place floral wire around outer edge of wreath frame and secure with needle-nose pliers by tightly wrapping floral wire around itself until secure but not too tight! It should be very secure though so don't worry about having too much overlap--just make sure there are no gaps where greenery could fall through later on down the line; use more than one wrap if necessary!
Driftwood and Shells Wreath
If you love the beach, this is the wreath for you. It’s a perfect way to showcase your love of nature and bring a little bit of the outdoors inside.
To make this wreath, gather driftwood pieces that are approximately 2 inches in diameter. You can find them at craft stores or buy them online if they aren’t available where you live. Also collect shells and other natural materials like sea grasses and flowers (if you want). Use hot glue to attach them to your driftwood base and form your centerpiece! We recommend making two different designs so that when one starts looking a little tired, just switch it out with another one!
DIY Boho Tassel Wreath
Materials:
Wreath (I used a 22-inch one)
Small piece of ribbon for attaching the tassels to the wreath
Craft foam in your desired color (1 to 2 sheets)
Scissors or craft knife, depending on what you're using to cut out the shapes from the foam.
Directions:
Cut out some circles, stars and squares from your craft foam. If you want them very exact, measure out an even number of circles that are all exactly 1 inch in diameter at their widest point. You can also just eyeball it and make them as close to each other as possible without overlapping or being too far apart! Then cut away a bunch of stars with varying sizes and shapes (you can vary their size based on how large or small you want them). In addition to cutting out these shapes yourself or having someone else do it for you (like I did), I'd recommend trying something like this DIY necklace kit if there are any kids around who would be interested in helping! It comes with everything needed except scissors/knife/glue gun/scissors so they'll have fun making something green while learning about sustainability issues facing our world today!
These summer wreaths are the perfect way to refresh your front door.
Summer wreaths are a great way to bring in the blooms, and they’re easy to make from materials like wood and metal. Here are some tips for making your own summer wreath:
Think about what you want your wreath to look like. Do you want a rustic or modern look? Do you want it to be large or small? How many flowers do you need for your design? These things will help determine how big of an area your summer wreath will take up on the front door.
Choose materials that complement each other well. For example, if one material is red and another is green, choose flowers with colors in between those two hues—for example, purple hydrangeas paired with vibrant yellow dahlias could work nicely together without being too matchy-matchy!
Conclusion
We hope you’ve found a new wreath inspiration to bring in some fresh floral bloom and summer vibes to your home. Wreaths are so easy to make and they add such a nice touch of fun to the front door. They are also great if you don’t have the time or money for an extensive renovation project on your hands right now but still want something different than just hanging up some boring old flower pots!

The List
So I’ve decided I’m gonna do (at least) one piece of pixel art furniture a day in November and hopefully at the end put together a big mega-mod of furniture including the witchy stuff but also just a bunch of other things that y’all might enjoy anyway. Feel free to keep sending in requests all month. I can probably get multiple smaller things done in a day depending on how many recolors/how much animation each item might warrant, and probably just one Large thing in a day, so keep that in mind. Large things usually require multiple views (such as chairs and benches), slightly more complex animations, or are just Big. No limit on ideas/requests! Below this cut I’ll just be keeping track of everything I plan to do and in what varieties. The order things are listed isn’t necessarily the order I’ll be doing them in.

In the shape of a rampant lion (sardula), its head facing forward while its body and limbs point in the opposite direction. It has a large face, with long flattened nose, and a toothy grin, with nostrils and mouth deeply cut. Repeated patterns of curly fur mark brow, moustache and ruff. "Elbows" of lion are thrust forward with rosettes at tips and curly fringe with deep cutting below. Lion is ornamented with beaded and tasseled harness and bejeweled anklets. A dancing, garlanded female figure stands between lion's legs at front. Lion stands on a beaded lotus pedestal. Above the lion at the top of the piece are the face and arms of a mustached, crowned male. This face is repeated, slightly larger and more rudimentally carved, on reverse. Below the face on the reverse is the lion's chest, which is not deeply carved or elaborately detailed. The paws, each with long claws, are visible on either side. Below, between the lion's legs on reverse beneath a group of small figures are shown hunting lions, boar and deer beneath a delicately carved lattice of scrolling, flowering vines. Let’s Misbehave! (A Charlastor Holiday Fic)
A/N: This fic was inspired by one of my current favorite songs, “Let’s Misbehave” (the Swing Republic version)! I’ll admit that this is a little self-indulgent; Charlie’s outfit is inspired by a dress that I actually just bought myself (I’ll put a link in a separate post of anyone wants a visual of it), and I just started teaching myself how to dance, 1920s style! :)
It was a warm afternoon in mid-December (because when wasn’t it warm in Hell?) and the staff of the Hazbin Hotel were preparing for their first annual holiday gala! Being the theatrical folks that they were, the event was, of course, Charlie and Alastor’s idea originally. The hotel staff had spent the better part of the day cleaning and decorating the as-of-yet underused ballroom with gorgeous crystal chandeliers, garlands of fairy lights in a variety of colors, and wreaths and swags made of fresh-cut pine branches that would have been common decor on Earth around this time of year. Charlie had even found several decorations that consisted of strings of lights shaped into various animals that she insisted on purchasing for the event. Alastor wasn’t strong enough to refuse his mate’s puppy-dog eyes, which is how they ended up buying a few lighted swans, a unicorn, a shark (whose permanent toothy grin reminded her of a certain Radio Demon she loved), and (of course) a reindeer. The latter amused Charlie to no end.
Now that cleaning and decorating were out of the way, the hotel staff and tenants were busy getting dressed and ready for the event. Charlie wanted to surprise Alastor with her outfit, which is why she was currently all but skipping down the hall to Vaggie’s room with a dazzling flapper-style dress in hand.
“Vags, I found the most perfect dress for tonight!!” Charlie sang, sweeping dramatically into her best friend’s room and presenting said dress with a flourish as soon as she closed the door behind her. “Do you think Al will like it?” she asked with a giggle as she imagined her mate’s reaction.
Vaggie smiled fondly at her friend, stepping over to place her hand on Charlie’s shoulder. “I’m sure he’d be happy with whatever you decided to wear. But yes, he’s going to love it. No question!” Charlie grinned in response to Vaggie’s encouragement. “Now, come on; we’d better get ready before the gala starts!”
With that said, both women donned their dresses, chatting about the night to come as they worked on their hair and makeup. Vaggie had braided her hair earlier that morning so when she loosened it, it cascaded in waves down her back. Charlie on the other hand, wanting to commit to the flapper look that she was excited to surprise Alastor with, used her magic to curl and shorten her flowing blond hair to shoulder length. The style was reminiscent of the first dance she and her Radio Demon shared when he originally came to the hotel. After securing the final touch to her outfit in the form of a shimmering black lace headband adorned with a large red feather, she decided she was ready. Arm-in-arm, the two best friends headed downstairs, where the other attendees began to gather.
Meanwhile, the party had begun in earnest down in the ballroom. Alastor and his shadow minions provided the music which some of the guests had already begun to dance to, while others chatted, mingled with one another, munched on appetizers that the staff had prepared together, and enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
The Radio Demon busied himself while he waited for Charlie by talking with Husk and nursing a glass of red wine. He was beginning to grow impatient, as he usually did when they were apart for too long, especially because she refused to tell him anything about the outfit she’d planned. All she told him was to make sure he dressed in red and black which, he thought to himself with a chuckle, was what the majority of his wardrobe consisted of. He had decided to wear a formal black suit with a red tie, wanting to change things up and reverse his usual color scheme for the evening.
He was laughing heartily at some comment that Husk made when the feline demon suddenly glanced at a point behind Alastor. He raised his eyebrows and nudged Alastor’s arm with his own to get the Radio Demon’s attention.
“Hey man, you might want to turn around...looks like a certain someone is here to see you,” Husk chuckled with a knowing smirk on his face.
No sooner had Husk spoken than Alastor turned to face the most breathtaking sight he’d seen in the entirety of his life and afterlife. There, at the entrance of the ballroom stood Charlie. His Charlie. She was dressed like so many of the gals he remembered seeing on Earth during the 1920s, but none of them held a candle to the way his beloved mate looked tonight. Her flapper dress, which was adorned with intricate red beadwork and hemmed with asymmetrical black fringes, flattered her long and lean body. She wore a black and red feathered headband to match, and her hair was short and curled, just the way he styled it with his own magic on the day they met.
He felt his normally calm, collected and confident composure slip when the two of them locked eyes from across the ballroom and Charlie offered him a wave and a shy smile. His crimson eyes widened and the glass of wine he was holding nearly slipped from his claws. Not trusting the steadiness of his hands, he hastily handed the half-full glass to Husk.
“Husk, be a dear and take this for me, won’t you? Thank you ever so much!” Without sparing a second glance toward the feline demon, Alastor strode briskly across the ballroom toward his charming demon belle. She had the same idea and met him halfway, a darker blush than usual painting her cheeks as she gazed at him.
“Al, you look so handsome! And look, you finally tied your hair back! I love it!!” Charlie fawned over him, raising her hand to touch the short ponytail he’d fastened his hair into. She couldn’t resist brushing one of his ears with her finger, giggling at the way it twitched automatically beneath her touch. Alastor growled and grabbed her hand before she could lower it.
“Careful, dear...” he warned, trying and failing to be intimidating. He gently nipped at the inside of her wrist with his razor-sharp teeth, at which she snorted and rolled her eyes before fixing him with an affectionate look.
Alastor couldn’t help but return her fond gaze, and kissed the palm of her hand that was still within his grasp. He began to feel uncharacteristically self-conscious, as he wanted to express just how beautiful he thought she looked. He had improved at expressing his emotions since he met Charlie, but was still a bit out of practice. He decided to give it his best shot anyway. “Charlie, I...you...you look incredible, my dear. Truly, the most stunning woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on.”
Charlie was taken aback by his admission and could only stare at him, wide-eyed and blushing, for several moments. Finally, she grinned and wrapped one of her arms around his waist, nestling herself close to him. “Aw Al, you charmer!” she giggled, gazing up at him from beneath her long, dark lashes. “Come on, let’s go dance!”
“Sweetheart, I thought you’d never ask!” Alastor replied with his usual grin in place as he wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders and led her toward the dance floor.
They arrived just in time for a couple of slow songs, which the pair used as an excuse to stay as close to one another as they could as they swayed rhythmically back and forth. Several minutes later, Alastor decided that it was time to pick up the pace a bit. With a snap of his fingers, the jazzy notes of a trumpet began to play one of his favorite songs, and he couldn’t help but sing along as he led Charlie through the steps of the Charleston. They were in perfect sync, one stepping forward while the other stepped back, both of them nimble on their feet as they seemed to fly across the hardwood floor. At one point Charlie broke away from him for a few moments, pivoting on one foot and shaking her hips in a way that set the tassels on her dress to flying. Alastor was entranced by the movement and reclaimed her hand moments later with a grin.
As the two of them neared the bar set up in one corner of the ballroom, Charlie cocked an eyebrow questioningly. “Al, where are you taking me?” she inquired with a breathless giggle. In response, Alastor’s grin widened as he stepped daintily onto a barstool and then leaped onto the top of the bar itself, pulling Charlie along with him.
“The fuck...? What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Husk yelled, to no avail, as he gathered a couple of liquor bottles into his arms to prevent them from being kicked over by the over-zealous deer demon.
Alastor and Charlie laughed at their own ridiculousness as they danced across the bar. Many of the other guests stopped their own dancing and mingling, amazed to see the infamous Radio Demon letting loose and having fun. Neither Alastor nor Charlie had done such a thing before but when the two theatrical souls were together and in their element, there was no telling what would happen.
As the song reached its conclusion, Alastor wrapped his arms around Charlie’s waist, dipping her while simultaneously pulling her into a searing kiss. Charlie gasped, pleasantly surprised, before cupping his face between her hands and returning the kiss in earnest.

That’s so contagious
Let’s be outrageous
Let’s misbehave!
They say that spring means just one thing
To little lovebirds
We’re not above birds
Let’s misbehave!!”

25 Days of Adrien (+6 of Marinette)
Forewarning: This chapter is a little sad.
Adrien finally opens up about his Mother.
Part of the MLHolidays2k19 Prompt
AO3
Chapter 4 – Ornament
It was a peaceful Saturday afternoon as they finished the delicious meals the chef created. Gabriel, of course, did not attend the lunch with them, but Adrien enjoyed his girlfriend’s company, nonetheless.  For all he cares at this point, is that he was enjoying his meal with at least the one person who actually enjoyed his presence.
As they walked through the atrium to head to his room, Marinette sees the large, empty tree standing tall by the staircase. Marinette couldn’t help but feel sad for the naked tree, but she knew that maybe Adrien wanted to decorate it still.
“Hey.” Marinette poked his side as she called for him quietly.
“Hmm.” Adrien muffled back. He was still somewhat sad over his father’s failed attempt to eat lunch with them.
“Why is the tree naked?” Marinette questioned him innocently.
He started giggling over the weird question. Of course, Marinette flustered as she realized how she asked it, but then started giggling along with him. They broke into fits of laughter before finally calming down a bit.
He looked over to her, then back at the tree. A sigh released from his lungs giving way to a sad demeanor in his eyes.
“Do you remember that Christmas where I ran away?”
Marinette cringed at the memory. She finally found him back at the mansion steps but then mistakenly accused Santa as being an akuma and kidnapping Adrien. It only led to a real akumatized Santa Claws bringing scary gifts to everyone in Paris. “I remember that. Everyone was out looking for you. It was such a scary moment for all of us.”
He continued to stare at the tree. “That was the last time I really decorated it. Even though that night ended up better than most years because I had all my friends with me to celebrate...” he still couldn’t believe his father allowed all the unexpected guests to have Christmas dinner with them, “...I still can’t bring myself to really decorate the tree anymore.”
Marinette saddens at the thought. “Then who decorates it each year?”
“Father hires someone to do it. We buy the tree ahead of time to set it up where he wants it, then Nathalie brings someone in a few days later to decorate it.”
Marinette curls her lips at a thought. “What about if we do it...” she looks over to him, “together?”
Adrien stops staring at the tree to look at her. Could he do it? His mother always trimmed the tree. But would it be okay? Would he enjoy it a little more if Marinette did it with him?
He looked back at the tree for a minute more.
“We don’t have to, Adrien. It was only a suggestion.”
“No, let’s do it. I think it would be better if I did it with someone besides Nathalie.”
Marinette smiled. “Then let’s go and get the decorations.”
Adrien asked Nathalie where the decorations were hidden. When they were able to locate them, both Adrien and Marinette grabbed the boxes and brought them all to the atrium.
They slowly brought up the colorful lights together, careful not to fall as they wrapped them around the towering tree. While Adrien stayed on the ladder, Marinette grabbed the gold tinsel garland from the box and handed it over to him.
As he wrapped the garland around the tree, Adrien started talking. He began telling Marinette the first Christmas he could remember without photographs. He talked well of his mother, describing how she meticulously chose which theme she wanted the tree to be that year. “Golds and reds” he beamed. “She wanted golds and reds. Gold tinsel, red and gold ornaments. Red was her favorite color.”
Marinette agreed. “Red is a beautiful color.”
Once they finished the garland, Adrien climbed down the ladder to look at the box of ornaments.
He smiled as he retrieved the first one. It was a simple cream plaque with a red Japanese symbol adorned to the front of it. It was made of porcelain, with a red ribbon to hang it on the tree and a red fringed tassel tied at the bottom. The symbol was ‘love’. “My mother bought this one when her and Father traveled to Japan for the first time.” He remembers the story she told him. “My father fell down the stairs when he lost his footing. She had to remember that moment as the day she fell for him.”
Oh, the puns! She accidently laughed out loud.
“Hey!” Adrien scoffed.
“I wondered where you got your puns from.” she teased, “because it was definitely not from your father.”
He laughed at the tease. “My mother was always one to poke jokes.”
Next, he pulls out a black, iron-looking ornament. It was a mannequin, with black mock-iron twisted and turned into the shape. It had a silver ribbon tied at the top and a white flower pinned to where the bodice should be. “This was bought when my father started the company. My mother was an actress, but she loved to sew. She had at least three or four mannequins in her studio at one time. Her favorite mannequin was one that always stayed in the corner and it had her very first design on it.” He pondered a bit. “It looked exactly like this ornament. Father was the one to buy this for her. It’s actually her favorite one that he bought her.”
Marinette smiled brightly at his memory. The soft look he gave only warmed her heart.
He continues talking through all the ornaments, relishing at each of the memories of his mother. A pained smiled crossed his lips as tears had run down his cheeks. Marinette stood by him at each moment, wiping the tears from his eyes and kissing the swollen cheeks.
At one point in between all the memories, Gorilla, Nathalie, and Gabriel watched them in awe. This was the first time in years that Adrien really spoke of his mother. Even Gabriel, stoic and poised as usual, smiled at the interactions between the two. They chose to leave them be at their own accord.
When he reached in the box to retrieve the last ornament, the tears started flowing a little bit harder. When Marinette kneeled up beside him, her heart tore a little bit more at the sight. “This- this was the last ornament my mother bought before she passed away.” He started sniffling.
The ornament was a beautiful, ornate angel. It was made of acrylic, almost resembling glass in weight. She wore a long gown that was adorned with gold snowflakes of different shapes and sizes. Her hair was long and flowing with curls at the end. She had these beautiful gold wire wings, shaped in every which way to look like feathers. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
“Oh Adrien.” Marinette cooed at the priceless gem. “This is absolutely gorgeous.”
He continued to sniffle. “I always said this looked like her. I really truly believe that she bought this for us for a reason.” He held it up to his heart before getting up to place it on the tree. “It is my favorite ornament and I cherish this with my soul.”
Marinette walked up to him and held him from behind. She kissed his shoulder, reminding him that she was there for him and to not be afraid to let his emotions go.
“Thank you getting me to do this and I’m glad I have someone to tell this to.” He turns to hug her in a tight embrace. “Talking about this helps keep my mother’s memory alive. I just wish she was here to decorate it with us. I miss her terribly.”
“Thank you for telling me her stories.” She kissed him lightly. “I’m glad to have brought a smile to your cute face.”
He looked up at the tree as he continued to embrace her. “You have brought the Christmas spirit back into this home. I love you for that.”
