the season of giving

children laughing and giggling

the feeling of rolling around in snow with loved ones

basically what i’m trying to say is,

chirisTMAS IS A HOOT EVERY YEAR

NO SCHOOL

NO ANNOYING CLASSMATES

NO NOTHING

the only awkward thing you’d have to deal with is greeting the relatives who you didn’t know even existed until christmas

“oh my gosh!! y/n you’ve grown so much!!!”

mind: um do i know you

mouth: “haha yeah”

relatives would start streaming into your house from december the first

those relatives were the ones who /really/ got into the christmas spirit

you know

the type that puts their tree up straight after halloween

as more relatives come, you’d be forced into sharing a bedroom with your parents because,

“soz your aunt is coming over with her whole family

ok fine :c

you just hope that her five kids won’t ruin your framed jbj poster

on the last day of school, you were ready to leg it

you and your friends had made plans to pig out and eat discounted christmas cakes for the evening

so there you were in class

staring at the clock every other second

as your teacher drones on and on about staying safe during the holiday season

which is very important please do stay safe guys

and as soon as the bell rang, you and your friends dash towards the door and out into the hallway

everything was going smoothly

you had nearly made it out of the school

UNTIL

you feel a tug on the back of your shirt

and yoU COULDN’T MOVE ANYMORE

YOU WERE GONNA BURST

LOOK THE CAKE STORE HAD A CRAZY SALE AND THOSE CAKES WERE WAITING FOR NO ONE

AND SO YOU TURN AROUND,

“HEY MATE LOOK I’M A LITTLE BUSY-”

“are you going to be around this evening”

“SO IF YOU COULD KINDLY LET GO- oh hi guanlin”

you turn around to find the basketball team’s star player and ‘ideal guy’ of your school, lai guanlin

“of course i’m gonna be around i live there”

you reply with an eye roll

hm why was guanlin heading over to your house?

get ready for a long ride kid

well, your parents are super close with his parents thanks to some complicated events

and your parents, being the jolly people they are, invite the lais to spend christmas over at your house every year

there was a room in house especially saved for their family???

a majority of guanlin’s winter clothes were in that room because he knOWS THAT HE’LL BE THERE AT THE END OF THE YEAR

if he runs out of hoodies or smt

he’d text you to bring him one tomorrow

and you guys meet in the janitor’s closet

lMAO WHAT KINDA SHADY DEAL Y’ALL DOING BACK THERE 👀👀👀

guanlin’s friend and other hot basketballer, yoo seonho caught you two once

he followed guanlin one time because he was curious

and he busted you two in the closet with you holding his hoodie

you had run out of sweaters and complained to your mom about it

she pulled out this jacket outta no where and figured it was yours

it had your school’s logo on it you see

and you didn’t think twice and wore it to school

IT WAS THE BASKETBALL TEAM’S VARSITY JACKET

AND GUANLIN HAD MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT HIS VARSITY JACKET GONE MISSING A FEW DAYS AGO

YOU TWO WERE THE HOT TOPIC OF THE SCHOOL

it died down after a few weeks though

you had made some excuse of finding it on your desk and thinking it was yoo seonho’s (who you pretended to be /really/ close with)

guanlin played along with this excuse

you thought that perhaps guanlin was too embarrassed to be caught hanging out with you

considering he was at the top of the food chain after all

seeing him in ugly sweaters and playing board games with him every year kinda ruins the way you see him

guanlin lets you go with a snap of his wrist

he let go so suddenly that you fall to the ground lol

that evening, you return home with a full stomach and your arms full with different boxes of cakes

man the cake shop adventure was a blast

you get surrounded by your baby cousins almost immediately lol

after you basically get robbed by them,

guanlin appears with a pouty face

you know, that face he made when the pink sausages were being cute together ikcydkfkd

“you said you’d be here”

it was a thing every year to bake cookies and leave them for santa

usually anything that had to do with food was the adults’ duty

bUT THIS YEAR THEY DEEMED YOU TWO MATURE ENOUGH TO MAKE COOKIES WITHOUT BURNING THE HOUSE DOWN

you two acted like the babies there but ok

best believe that’s exactly what you two did

until you realize it’s been hours since they’ve left

anD THEY COULD COME HOME ANY MINUTE

SO IN PANIC YOU CHUCK THE TV REMOTE AWAY FROM GUANLIN WHO WAS READY TO PULL UP ANOTHER EPISODE

guanlin steps over the sofa with his damned long legs

you were literally rolling over the sofa

“who’s the extra one again?”

you huff because shit hes right you’re even more extra than he is

guanlin pulls out the recipe left for you two while you grab what you were 100% sure that you two would need

a bowel? check

flour? check

chocolate chips? oh they’re in the pantry-

NOT ANYMORE

GUANLIN’S GOT THEM

AND HE’S S N A C K I N G ON THEM

you, an intellectual, run up and try to take them away

but guanlin raises them above his head

this boy’s a giant

anD HE KNOWS THAT

he sends you a shit eating grin as you attempt to take the packet by jumping lol

in the end, you punch him in the stomach

and as he doubles over in pain, snatch the chocolate away

how to deal with tall people 101 by yours truly

you run back to the kitchen, choco chips in hand

WHILE LAUGHING LIKE A CHILD SMH Y/N

and guanlin, claiming you cheated, ran after you

“SAFE!!!”

you scream, reaching the kitchen

turning around, you were ready to tease guanlin about his loss

but he was right in front of you

there was only a tiny distance between your bodies

BOY HE WAS CLOSE

“yoU KNOW WHAT,,,,,, HAVE THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS DAMMIT”

YOU TURN YOUR BACK TO HIM, FLUSTERED

guanlin smiled as you chucked him the sweet treat

not at the chocolate but at how adorable you were

there was an average of two chips per cookie

until you feel something hit your back

snapping your head back in shock, you see guanlin with the bag of flour in his arms

HIS LAUGHING FACE SAID IT ALL

“okAY JUST BECAUSE WE DIDN’T HAVE A SNOWBALL FIGHT THIS YEAR DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN-”

whoops theres another handful of flour

that hit your face

upon seeing this, guanlin doubles over in laughter

“ALRIGHT YOU ASKED FOR THIS”

you picked up the ingredient closest to you and threw it in guanlin’s direction

it just happened to be an egg

IT HIT HIS ARM AND CRACKED

IT WAS NOW YOUR TURN TO LAUGH

“Y/N!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!!! THIS JUMPER IS EXPENSIVE”

but it didn’t really matter how expensive that jumper is

it ended up covered in all sorts of things

and that’s how your kitchen floor ended up too

the playful handful of flour guanlin threw at you started a full on food fight

the kitchen was MESS but neither of you cared, you guys were waaAAAY too happy to care lma o

at one point y’all started to use spoons as catapults

guanlin’s bag of flour seemed endless but you had run out of eggs

so you duck behind a counter and scan the kitchen for anything else you could use as ammo lol

your eyes landed on the butter but you hesitated for a second

A SECOND TOO LONG

HE SCREECHES IN VICTORY

WHO KNEW YOUR SECOND OF HESITATION WOULD LEAD TO YOUR DOWNFALL

he scoffs

“you just don’t want to admit that i’m b e t t e r than you”

YOU STAND UP, SLAMMING YOUR HANDS ON THE COUNTER

he playfully puts his hands on the counter as well on the opposite side

“then tell me why i keep beating you at monopoly as well”

without noticing, the two of you had starting leaning towards each other over the counter

when you realize, your playful banter had ceased and you were staring into his eyes

and

shit

you realize at that moment that you were completely head over heels for him

your feelings for him had been building every winter leading up to his one

you had thought that they were completely platonic

but your burning face told you that they weren’t

you notice guanlin’s eyes looking down at your lips

and his adam’s apple going crazy

you gather up the little courage you had

leaned in

and pressed a small kiss on his nose

guanlin’s head went blank

diD HIS CRUSH JUST-

you let out a small giggle and say,

“if you wanted to kiss me, you could’ve just done so”

“waIT WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???”

ur man is almost gonna faint gdi

“do yoU NEED ME TO PUT IT INTO WORDS? UGH I CAN’T BELIEVE I FELL FOR AN IDIOT”

guanlin’s lips raise into a smile

“you like me?”

“BOSUGBOURSB I’M TAKING IT BACK”

you hop over the counter so there wasn’t anything between you and him

and guanlin lets out a smile bright enough to rival the sun

“yeah”

and with that, he brings you into a huge hug

and falls onto the couch with you in his arms

“guaNLIN WE’RE GONNA GET THE COUCH DIRTY”

“WHO CARES LMAO”

you snuggle against him

even though he was covered in egg lol

“why do you act like you don’t know me at school?”

alright so i’ve never wrote a boyfriend au so hopefully i’ll get better with practice

guanlin was a really sweet boyfriend tbh

he seems like the type to laugh too hard at your jokes

or at something that you didn't even know was funny

likes to have an arm around you

loves to hug you

more of a cuddler than a kisser tbh

but that doesn't mean he's subpar in that area

once he gets comfortable

surprise kisses are his favorite

he loves to kiss you when you're rambling about something

bc he thinks you looks cute when you're literally reevaluating your entire existence

not really the jealous type

if he does get jealous he'll get a little quieter but he'll get over it quickly

he'll talk to you about it if it really bothers him

bc communication is important

even tho he loves you

i think he would enjoy some space

just to hang with the boys

Thank you for loving my writing!! ❤❤ Sorry this took so long, i’m in the midst of all my final assignments and midterms at uni right now, but here you go!! It’s a bit more friendship with a hint of potential future relationship so maybe i’ll do a part 2 sometime later on if you’d like? Enjoy!

Kuanlin college!AU (that kinda wasnt a college au, idk i got a bit sidetracked by basketball lmao) ALSO HAPPY BDAY KUANLIN BBY HOPE UR SWEET SIXTEENTH IS LOVELY LIKE U KIDDO

he’s well known around campus as THE international student

like a guy who appeared from a manga/manhwa, he has godly features and proportions

just a very perfect looking human

He’s also the guy that still seems to be having a growth spurt because you swear he’s taller than he was a month ago

Has a keen interest in languages, so he’s doing a double degree in Korean and English

People’s first impression of him are always that he’s this really cool guy

He has this signature outfit of a bomber jacket and ripped jeans

and sunglasses

Everyone’s eyes are always drawn to him immediately

“he looks like a celebrity!”

as soon as he took off his sunglasses and sat down, he gave everyone this cute gummy smile and introduced himself

Despite his fashionable attire, he’s rather introverted and sticks to the same group of friends

The first time you met was in class at the start of your first year

you were running late because you had gotten lost because there had been a mistake in the timetable

you had made it in the correct building but it was seriously like a maze

and there was like 2 minutes left until the lecture would start but you were still so lost

1 minute to go and you were about to give up

when Kuanlin strolls past you leisurely

He’s about to turn the corner when he glances back at you

“um…”

you glanced over at the sound of his voice

“…if you’re looking for the lecture room for korean, it’s over this way…”

You thanked him in relief and followed him around 2 more corners before making it to a seat just in time for the lecture begin

After the lecture was over you spotted him leaving and you had rushed over to him

“Hey, thank you so much for showing me where this room was, you’re a life saver!”

He had looked away and you saw a slight pink flush light up his cheeks

“Happy to help.”

Your resolution when you were beginning college was to make lots of new friends so you decided, hey why not start now

“I’m Y/N by the way, it’s nice to meet you!”

As you introduced yourself, the two of you walked in step with each other

Turns out you do almost all the same papers as he does

The two of you end up just having this sort of silent seating plan

Like it randomly started one day and since then the two of you have always sat next to each other

Round mid semester exam time, the two of you would study together in the library

You’d take turns buying each other coffees

Kuanlin has remembered your coffee order in one go, much to your surprise

He gives off a very innocent vibe despite his mature appearance

He also tends to be very focused, and will always keep his emotions in check

Unlike you, because during exam time, u were streeeeesssed out

A complete contrast to Kuanlin’s very calm soul

The only times he breaks free from the calm is when he finds something funny

Like he’ll break out into this cute breathy laughter that’s super adorable

Because he’s an international student, he struggled to settle in at first at college

but after joining a few clubs and being introduced and meeting lots of nice people, Kuanlin really thrives in the college life

There is this really prestigious basketball team at your college - “Wanna One” and every semester they participate in a tournament against other college teams

Wanna One’s biggest rival is a team called “Mnet” (lol mnet, what a punny bball team name)

It’s such an intense competition as the winning club gets a huge benefit

like helping funding for national and overseas tournaments, helping paying off college tuition fees, getting more exposure to professional basketball scouters etc

It’s tough though because Mnet is a team that tends to play dirty and will try to dramatise anything so the other team will get fouled (can y’all tell im having way too much fun with this)

A few of your friends, and friends of friends are in Wanna One

So you went to the tournament to cheer them on

You noticed from the crowd that there’s a new but familiar face in the team

The arrival of the new maknae, the hidden ace, Lai Kuanlin

No one outside of W1, as well as yourself had ever seen him play basketball before

so everyone’s a bit worried because the stakes on the game are so high

but those worries were all put to rest as soon as Kuanlin stepped on the court

The star shooter of the match, he didn’t miss a single hoop and ended up being the player who raked in the most points helping W1 claim victory

After the game, you, Wanna One and all their friends went to a karaoke place to celebrate

You were sandwiched between Daehwi and Jisung who were singing their hearts out to some girl group songs

Everyone’s laughing and having a good time

But then you noticed Kuanlin surrounded by all these girls/new found admirers

And although he looked slightly flattered by the situation he also looked very uncomfortable due to the sudden attention on him

You weren’t too sure if you should intervene or not, and just as you decided you were going to say something, Jisung shoved the microphone into your face forcing you to sing with them

After many more songs, you decided this would be a good time to go outside to get some fresh air and a break from all the ruckus

“Y/N? what are you doing out here?”

Kuanlin was sitting on a bench outside the karaoke place

“I thought I’d take a break from the noise, it was getting stuffy in there…what about you, you’re the star of the night, you should be in there celebrating with the others!”

“Same as you, the craziness was getting to me”

You gave a light pat on the back, “Things wont be that normal for you anymore, you’re practically a celebrity!”

Kuanlin had just hmm-ed in response, getting lost in his thoughts again

After that day, you didn’t see Kuanlin as often anymore, which surprised you

it was weird and out of character of him to not have him showing up to classes

and there was always one empty seat next to you, which made your heart ache a bit?

you felt sad that you hadn’t been able to see him at all recently, and he had been extremely slow in replying to any of your messages

Turns out this applied to all your friends in W1 too

You found out eventually that they were preparing for the big national tournament in the coming month, so they were too exhausted to go to class

Videos were popping up on snapchat and facebook of them practising late into the night/morning

sometimes only getting 1 hour of sleep every night, maybe less

you were so shocked, your friends were being overworked like crazy by their coaches, but they just kept smiling and saying that they’re happy

Your birthday comes round, and you decided that you were just going to have a small gathering because all your friends were busy

You sat in the dorm corridor with a small group of your close friends

As you blew out the candles to your cake, you couldn’t help feel upset that none of the boys had been able to make it, or even respond to your invitation

You knew that they’re incredibly busy, so you’re annoyed at yourself for blaming them

You forced a smile onto your face and thanked your friends who had showed up, and after digging into the cake, you all retreated back into your rooms

The clock on your desk ticks away, and as it hits 11.59pm, you sigh

For some reason you had wished that at least Kuanlin could’ve turned up for your birthday

You had stopped denying that you missed him dearly

you missed his voice and his laugh

and his friendship

you also missed that warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach whenever he smiled at you

A few tears roll down your cheek and you wipe them away angrily

Why are you getting so worked up over a boy?

A boy who is just a friend

Just a friend who bought you multiple coffees

and took notes for you in class that week when you were sick

and accompanied you on late night walks to McDonalds

A sharp knock on your door echoes through your room

Looking at the clock, it’s 3am, and you realise you fell asleep

who tf would be knocking at 3am tho

It’s saturday night, so you’re scared it’s some drunk person causing a scene so you stay in your room

Another knock, but this time a voice rings clearly with it

“Y/N? Are you awake?”

You go over to the door, and after a bit of hesitation you open it

Kuanlin is standing there, holding a present and looking apologetic

“Surprise! Happy Birthday Y/N!”

“You’re three hours late.” you turn your back on him and return to your room with him following behind

“Oh cmon, dont be like that, haven’t you missed me?? Me and the guys are sorry that we couldn’t make it earlier…”

silence

“Y/N? did you hear me?”

He turned on the light and looked at your face clearly

“oh…Y/N, are you crying??”

You shake your head angrily but there’s no denying the tears running down your face

Kuanlin is so concerned, and pulls you into a hug

“Hey, hey, hey it’s alright, what’s made you so upset?”

You hug him back, clinging to him, your anger evaporating at the close proximity

instead your heart is now pounding at an insane speed and you can feel the cheeks starting to heat up

“I just…I’ve just really missed you, you idiot”

you try to disengage yourself from the hug and hide your face but Kuanlin just wipes away your tears gently with his thumbs before pulling you closer and patting your hair

“I missed you too Y/N, a lot.”

He pulls away slightly and hands you the present

“The basketball season is drawing to a close, so we get to go on a break for a few weeks, I just thought I’d come let you know in person and give you this at the same time.”

His face is tinged with pink and he scratches the back of his neck in embarrassment.

After unwrapping it you see it’s a beautifully and intricately designed necklace

You marvel over it as it sits delicately in the palm of your hand

He’s still nervously looking at you trying to assess your reaction

“UH…if you don’t like it, there’s an exchange card in the gift box, so if you don’t want it you can change it to something nicer at the shop just in case you -”

“Kuanlin, it’s beautiful, i really love it”

“YOU DO?”

this boy had spent hours at that shop trying to find that freaking necklace

and every single member of W1 had seen it and reassured him that you’d like it

but he was still nervous af the poor kid

He took a deep breath to try calm himself down as he took the necklace from your hand and signalled for you to turn round

you did and he gently pushed your hair to the side

his fingertips brushed your neck as he put the necklace on you and you couldn’t help but shiver

Suddenly his arms wrapped round your waist and you were enveloped by his warm body

“Y/N…Happy belated Birthday.”

After Kuanlin left that night, you lay in bed replaying the scene over and over in your head

Something about your relationship with him was different now, but in a good way

Playing with the necklace still hanging round your neck, you smiled to yourself

Who knows how things will go from here, but right now all you can think about is the next time you’ll see Kuanlin and how much you liked being in his embrace

Wanna-One Basketball! AU

I’ve decided to write some AUs based on the recently released teasers for Wanna One’s debut! For example, this one will be basketball themed, like Guanlin’s teaser! (You+Guanlin)

You didn’t particularly care about sports

But your brother was obsessed with basketball (he was super tall despite his age), and had been playing ever since he was a young kid

This meant that he would want to practice whenever he could, with whoever would play with him

A lot of the time, this meant you

So whether you liked it or not, you were actually pretty well versed in moves and players (your favorite was the Houston Rockets’ Hakeem Olajuwon ayyy H-Town)

Your brother had left for college a year ago, but you still enjoyed playing for fun

You had the skills, so why not

Anyway, the weather was nice today, perfect for a casual game

Unfortunately, everyone else in the neighborhood probably was thinking the same, so the court was not bound to be quiet

You packed your water bottle and towel, tied your hair and laced up your worn out Hyperdunks

You jumped on your bike and began pedaling to the court

Shortly after, you arrived and just as you expected, there were already people playing

The usual suspects, but there was a boy you had never seen there before

You walked up to your school friend, Yoo Seonho, and asked him about the super tall and foreign-looking pretty boy that stood out from the crowd

"His name is Lai Guanlin”, Seonho answered. “He recently moved here from Taiwan and he’s pretty good, although he doesn’t talk much”

You stared at Guanlin: lanky, with cherry red lips and an unflawed face that didn’t seem to be human

Suddenly, he stumbled over his long legs, tripping and dropping the ball

You and Seonho both giggled as you muttered “the disadvantage to being so tall”

Guanlin sheepishly laughed at himself on the court

Suddenly he didn’t seem as cold and unapproachable due to his god-like face, but instead like the kid he was

You and Seonho approached him, and suggested a game of Horse after introducing yourself

You didn’t bother asking him any questions about his move at this point

Instead of making him feel like the new kid, from personal experience you knew it would be way more comfortable to just bond over the sport

(A/N: Horse is basically a game where the players take turn shooting the basketball and if someone makes the shot, the next person has to make it from the same point the person before shot from. If they miss, they gain the letter “H”. If this happens again, they get “O”, etc. The first person to get all 5 letters of “HORSE” loses. Sorry if that makes no sense)

Guanlin nodded, and you three began to play

Seonho was the first to go, and he started out with an easy shot from within the three-point line, which both you and Guanlin easily swished

You shot next, using a trick shot to pass the ball under your legs as you jumped, and easily tossed the ball into the net

Your brother had trained you at many Horse trick shots, and he was the best opponent you had come across

Seonho was unsurprised, as you had always used this move while playing Horse, but Guanlin let out an “ayyyy” as you sunk the ball

Seonho hit his own legs while trying to replicate the shot, dropping the ball, earning himself an “H”, causing you and Guanlin to shriek in laughter as Seonho made an annoyed expression

Guanlin easily replicated the shot, although admittedly it looked a bit awkward to his height

Guanlin was up next

You braced yourself for a skilled and difficult move, eyes widening as he jogged backwards, approaching midcourt (the center of the basketball court, far from the hoop)

You anticipated the shot, knowing you would never make this one

But then Guanlin let out a loud cry, as he chucked the ball randomly, completely missing the hoop and backboard itself, landing behind the court in the grass

Seonho and Guanlin fell to the floor in laughter, shrieking and rolling around in the court as you stood there in awe

You looked towards Guanlin as he chaotically beat the court with his hands and you found your heart picking its pace up

This pretty new kid had a complete opposite personality to his looks, didn’t take himself too seriously, was quite good at basketball, and most importantly, hadn’t given you a single gender-related comment, about being “good for a girl” or some bull

You three continued playing until the sun set, the game of Horse eventually morphing into a simple session where you all showed off one another’s best plays and tricks, learning from and laughing at each other

You all sat on the bench together, exhausted but exhilarated from playing for so long

Seonho took big gulps from his water bottles, as you looked at him in jealousy, trying to get a last drop out of the one you finished hours before

Guanlin noticed your efforts, and gave his half-full bottle to you without a word

You thankfully took it from him as you began desperately unscrewing the lid so that you could waterfall, before Guanlin muttered “it’s fine, you can just drink out of it”

Your eyes flicked up to his and you nodded, but didn’t think too much of it, not noticing the wink Seonho shot at Guanlin or the faint red tint that coated Guanlin’s cheeks as you drank

Seonho quickly got up and stretched, yawning that it was time for him to get back home to dinner, and as he jogged away he requested you to introduce Guanlin to a good place to eat in the area

You both had no reason to do otherwise, and biked to a nearby street food stall

You introduced Guanlin to a variety of new foods throughout the evening, as you both laughed about basketball players and favorite plays

You headed back home, walking your bikes, when he suddenly said your name

You looked at one another, and Guanlin said the first thing of the day not related to basketball

“This was really fun today. I’m glad I met you... we should do this again”

A proclamation that was short and sweet, yet didn’t fail to make your heart thump in your chest

“Yeah it was. I really liked you-” your head was clouded with a romantic thunderstorm, causing you to stop mid sentence once you realized what you said

Guanlin tilted his head... did you just say what he thought you did? He wasn’t too good at Korean so he didn’t understand what had happened

“I mean I really liked your basketball skills”, you saved at the last second, mentally kicking yourself

“Ah okay... I thought you had-” he stopped, and you both awkwardly laughed

This time, his heart was the one picking up pace

He walked you home, and you both exchanged contact information with a friendly-yet-awkward goodbye

You texted him first, asking to meet again in a couple days at the court

This went on for a while, just setting dates to hang out to play and then eat together, sometimes alone, sometimes not

Eventually, you didn’t have to use basketball as an excuse to see one another as you grew closer

He confessed to you some time later, randomly and out of the blue after a sweaty game, directly stating “I like you”

You were shocked at how straightforward he was, but that was his charm

Your relationship wasn’t awkward, it just continued like how it had been in the past

He didn’t do cheesy gestures, but he showed how much he cared by buying you some new kicks or carrying you around if you got hurt

Lai Guanlin!Harry Potter Au

Request: Your Jinyoung and Sungwoon writings were amazing!! Could you write a Harry Potter AU for Guanlin? Like he's a Slytherin and the reader is a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff and they don't get along at first but eventually they start dating? 💕

I decided I would do proper writing for this one so um...sorry if it sucks LmAo

Warnings: swearing, teasing, pranks, I mean, as long you’re okay with cursing then you should be fine :’) idk this is semi angsty ig

Guanlin strode through the long corridors of Hogwarts, his robe billowing behind him. His rounded glasses were perched on his nose while he wore his small smirk on his lips, something that never seemed to go away. As he turned into the the Great Hall, at least fourteen girls let out an abnoxiously high pitched “cute” noise as they rose from their seats and crowded around him.

You, on the other hand, were peacefully enjoying your dinner, your nose stuffed inside a spell book while you used your wand to feed yourself. As soon as you heard the “cute” noise your head shot up, ready to scold whoever dared disturb you. Of course, the moment your eyes focused you were promptly trampled, falling over with your books flying everywhere. Luckily, one of your friends had used a levitation spell to keep the books afloat and stack them neatly again for you. Annoyed, you sent Guanlin a glare from your spot on the floor. You see, Guanlin and you had never gotten along after the two of you were paired as partners in your Defense Against The Dark Arts class. What happened was that Guanlin thought you guys could hold off all the work till last minute and pass, but you forced him to meet you in the library everyday until the project was done. Of course, having Guanlin there slowed your project, but with all the bullshit he was putting you through, you wanted him to suffer.

Since then, you two bickered constantly. He would purposely stand near you so his fanclubs would trample you. You would be extra strict on him as a prefect, not letting him get away with the simplest of things. Sometimes when he felt eXtRa he would spill ink on your papers, or send a raincloud to follow you all day. You would use your title as teacher’s pet to your advantage and get the teacher let you play a harmless little prank on him, like good friends would. So Guanlin would run into invisible doors, walls, and get poked out of no where all day long.

“Guanlin...” you growled, furrowing your eyebrows and making sure your pissed off look was received by him.

“whaaaattt?~” he teased, smirking. “they’re just excited to see me, it’s not like you’re hurt.” he and the girls chuckled, creating a very annoying sound. Of course, you did fall on your ankle, and yes, it felt like a bitch, but you weren’t about to tell him that. Taking your books, you angrily huffed and stomped out the Great Hall, trying not to cringe whenever your ankle hit against the ground. Guanlin just turned back to the crowd of girls, taking in the attention with a smile.

Seeing as the nurse was busy, and you didn’t have enough time to wait around for your next class, you hastily wrapped up your ankle and grabbed some crutches. Looking over her shoulder, the nurse told you to come back during dinner for proper treatment before turning back to an injured quidditch player.

Guanlin anxiously tapped his foot against the Defense Against The Dark Arts floor, staring at your wrapped up ankle and crutches a few seats ahead of his. Due to a new student, you were moved so the girl (per her demand) could sit next to Guanlin and cling onto his arm, pointing out how “scary” everything was every time the teacher mentioned a creature. Slightly annoyed, Guanlin chose to ignore the girl, narrowing his eyes at you. What kind of idiot wizard manages to hurt themselves? He rolled his eyes and sent the girl beside him a small smile, getting her to leave him alone for acouple minutes while he stared at the teacher.

You used your crutches as you struggled to get down the stairs, heading to the nurses instead of the Great Hall. Why’d my last class have to be in one of the towers? You whined inside your head, pouting to yourself. One of your fellow prefects stoped you as you were nearing the end, giggling softly at your distressed state.

“What happened to you?” She pointed to your ankle, grabbing onto your arm and leading you down the stairs.

“Ah, I was trampled.” A force smile appeared on your lips as you bitterly recalled the incident.

Shaking her head, the prefect got you to the nurses, waving you goodbye as she went back to patrolling the halls. The nurse was nice enough to have a meal set up for you by your cot. Thanking her, you ate while she carefully unwrapped your ankle and grimmiced at the bruising. You gripped the sheets tightly in your fists as she poked around, tsking at your poor health.

Hours later, you were layed down in a cot, withering in pain. A bottle of Skele-Grow was placed on the desk beside you, causing you pain. Under nurses orders, you were spending the night in the infirmary, growing back your apparently broken ankle. Of course you had stacks of books next to you, since you figured you weren’t going to get any sleep anyways, you might as well study. It was around 3AM, the large grandfather clock read, when you fell asleep, face planted in a book.

The next morning you woke up to a bucket of water being poured over your face, Guanlin and the girl from class standing over you and smirking.

“Bitch, the fuck do you want?” You grumbled sleepily, rubbing your forehead, feeling your headache come on hard.

“Nothing, just making sure you’re not dead. I need you there for our Defense Against The Dark Arts presentation.” Guanlin smiled, wrapping his arm around the girl before they walked off, the girl giggling about some bullshit.

What a great way to start your morning! Standing and taking very creaky kangaroo steps, you made your way to the bathroom and cleaned yourself up. With a small smile, you thanked the nurse as you left the infirmary, stretching while your books followed behind you. A breakfast was already set out for you by a fellow Ravenclaw when you arrived in the Great Hall. You had never seen this boy before, but his smile made you mega uwu, so you just went for it. Later, you learned his name was Lee Daehwi and that he had been out studying muggles in america. Eventually, you and Daehwi became close in a short amount of time. It seemed the two of you shared many classes together, so you guys talked while you walked through the halls and partnered up in classes, giggling at the simplest of things together.

As the week progressed, you got closer with Daehwi and Guanlin started hanging out with his girlfriend more and more often, leaving you alone. At first his absence bothered you, after all, he did make things interesting. That didn’t stop him from being a bully in gym though.

Gym was the only time when you could interact with Guanlin. Not only did he guard his girlfriend like she was some sort of precious diamond (which she insisted on) but anyone who tried to get her out of games. Dodgeball? Try throwing a ball in her direction and see what happens. Or be Y/N, in which case, you’re going to get wrecked by balls anyways. Daehwi, being the good friend he was, would try to protect you, but he was to small and weak, ending up getting out himself and pouting.

“YaaAH! I can’t pick up the ball, my nails will be in danger!” Guanlin’s girlfriend pouted “cutely” and looked at her ridiculously long nails. Guanling just sighed and went back to guarding her, throwing the dodge balls quite harshly at the opposing team, getting the majority out in record time. Daehwi, who had gotten out early on because he tripped over a ball and proceeded to fall over onto the other team’s side, cheered you on while you tried your best to fight back against Guanlin’s team.

Guanlin smirked, raising his arm to throw the ball. He saw you, distracted while aiming for one of his team mates and decided to take his chance. He hit you in the ribs, causing you to fall over backwards and get the breath knocked out of you. On top of that, you had managed to fall on your ankle that was still healing in a weird way :).

“Wooooo!!! Way to go oppa!” Guanlin’s girlfriend cheered, taking delight in the fact that you had just been hit with a dodgeball so hard that you had fallen over. Daehwi, taking notice of the fact that it’s been 20 seconds and you still haven’t gotten up, rushed over to you, crouching down and trying to figure out what was wrong.

Guanlin sent a smirk towards the crowd of girls eagerly watching him before turning over to you, expecting a harsh glare. What he didn’t expect was you to be... whimpering? on the ground with Daehwi next to you while you desperately tried to blink back tears. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair before he jogged over to you, trying to keep his calm while he felt major regret on the inside.

Keeping his cool guy facade, he rolled his eyes before picking you up in his arms, gently pushing Daehwi aside. He huffed and blew his bangs out of his eyes before plastering on an annoyed face and walking out the gym with you in his arms, sight blurred from the tears welling up in your eyes. You felt comfortable though, and allowed yourself to be carried.

A gentle hand dabbed at your eyes while you blinked, sat on the counter of the medical supply closet.

“The nurse was going to kill me if she saw that I injured you again.” Guanlin mumbled while your vision cleared. Seeing the boy in front of you, you gasped and jumped back, hitting your ankle on a cabinet and letting out a string of curses.

“Chill.” He pushed his bangs out of his face and inspected your ankle, grabbing some stuff from the cabinet above you.

“Daehwi could’ve taken me...” You grumbled, crossing your arms and pouting.

“No offense, but that kid looks like he could barely lift anything more than 50 pounds.” Guanlin looked at you, “how’s your ankle?”

“Would be better if you didn’t smash me with a dodgeball.” You fired back, furrowing your eyebrows.

“Don’t do that, it’s disgustingly cute.” He smoothed out your eyebrows and messed up your pout.

You hissed while he wrapped your ankle, gripping the counter tightly.

“I’m sorry, does it hurt?” He worriedly looked up at you, stopping and gently holding your ankle.

“Whatever, hurry up and stop acting like you care.” You tapped his side with your healthy foot and scowled.

The next minutes were filled with your hissing while Guanlin attempted to wrap your ankle as gently as possible. Once he was finished he shot you a bright smile while happily chirping, “All done!”

Wait what-

Where’d Guanlin go and who is this?

You tilted your head curiously at him while he put away the supplies he had taken out and smiled some more.

“I’m sorry Y/N!” He bowed and helped you off the counter, making sure to keep your weight on him instead of your ankle. You, being the angsty protagonist, pushed him off and hobbled off on your one foot.

“Don’t start suddenly acting all nice and like you care, Guanlin. Go back to your girlfriend and fan club.” You scoffed and left him, using a random mop that was left in the hall as a cane while you went to the Ravenclaw dorms to grab your crutches.

Guanlin watched as you left, sighing and running a hand through his hair. I’ve really done it....

The next morning you heard hushed whispers everywhere, Guanlin’s name popping up in every corner. You headed into the Great Hall for your breakfast, sitting down next to Daehwi. Anxiously, you looked around for Guanlin, hoping your food wasn’t going to have frogs in it or something. However, you were surprised to find that the tall boy was nowhere in sight. This left you wondering, and you spent the entire breakfast trying to figure out where he had gone.

“Hey, Y/N!!!” A fellow prefect called out, waving at you. “Did you hear? Guanlin is single again!” She giggled while jumping up and down, clearly hopeful that she’d get a chance to date him next.

“Oh, maybe that’s why he didn’t show up at breakfast, must be mulling over his loss or something.” You deadpanned, staring into blank space.

“no, I heard he’s been sitting on the roof or something all day. no one can figure out why though.” she shrugged, adjusting her robes. “You should go make sure he’s not breaking any rules, I’m afraid of heights soooo...” she let out another giggle before skipping off.

Sighing, you trudged up the stairs and winced every time your foot had pressure applied onto it. After making it up there you put on a scowl and sat next to the tall boy on a bench.

“You better have a good excuse loverboy, I just had to go up all those stairs and thanks to a certain someone my ankle isn’t fully healed and hurt all the way up.” Grumbling, you inspected your ankle to make sure it hadn’t been further damaged.

“Sorry, I wasn’t thinking straight.” he sighed, facing you. “You know, I broke up with Soojung this morning.”

“That’s her name? Can’t figure out how I never knew that. Anyways, why?” You looked up at him, tilting your head curiously.

“I was wondering if...maybe you’d give me a chance?” He smiled softly and held your tiny hands in between his to protect them from the cold breeze that swept over the roof. “I guess I’ve just never been good at figuring out feelings, let alone expressing them.” Guanlin smiled sheepishly. “Sorry.”

Meanwhile you were s h o o k. After a few moments of silence while you thought things over, you smiled up at him and let out a small laugh. “I’ll give you a date, if that makes you happy. One rule though, you have to start being a good student.”

You let out whines, protesting the current situation. You see, you and Guanlin had gone out on your date, hecc you’ve gone out on about 28 at this point. Your ankle never really healed though, in fact you just kept injuring it doing stupid things with Guanlin. Recently, you’d accidentally tripped over some random herb in your potions class and twisted your ankle. So now, Guanlin insisted on piggy backing you everywhere, insisting that you’d a) have a better view and b) be less prone to hurting you ankle again.

After settling down, you rested your chin on his shoulder, smiling. “You know, you’re not so bad after all. Not bad at all for a Slytherin.” You grinned.

“You’re not all that bad for a Ravenclaw either, I think you might like me better than your stack of books now.” He teased, pinching your nose.

“Definitely.”

K this is rlly bad qwq. You ever have really good plans for something but they end up going wonky and you just spend forever writing something you’re not satisfied with and feel like you’re just giving out trash? Russian Roulette | Wanna One AU

HOW TO PLAY:

ok lmao there’s nothing really so say how to play wise bc its honestly pretty obvious

im just doing this as like a just in case im not clear LDFKJ

Character Profiles will come out in either the next FEW HOURS or the NEXT DAY

ACTUAL HOW TO PLAY:

this series will be constantly change based on the collective choice of polls

basically meaning that which ever choice gets the most voted on is the choice that affects the story

BUT- I will allow the poll to go for the whole day (24 hrs) so that people have a chance to vote

most of the polls through out the chapters will be the same thing

EX:(Which information would you like to share with the rest of the group?) or (Who do you think did it?)

EVERY HOUR:

every hour is basically a chapter LMFAO

so at the end of every hour (at the bottom of the chapter) I will have two polls

one for choosing what you do with the information

and one for choosing who steps up to the gun

keep in mind that once you choose you probably will NOT be able to change your answers after

once the polls are done I’ll try to make the chapter as fast as I am able to so that you guys can see how your choices affected the story.

PLEASE keep in mind that new chapters might not come out immediately as I am busy with other things but I will try to work on it as much as possible !

Its been a really stressful day. Your schedule is basically packed for the next two weeks or so. Due dates after due dates. Back to back projects and tests. You really just wanted to go home and take rest as well as breathe for a bit.

Once you entered your house, you just wanted to have a breakdown. But you couldn’t do so because you didn’t have time for that. You then headed to the kitchen to grab some snacks before heading to your bedroom upstairs.

When you stepped into your bedroom, you immediately placed the snacks and your bag in your desk. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath because now you can finally take a rest for a few hours before doing your homework.

Right when you opened your eyes, you realized that there was loud music playing but you didn’t know where it was coming from. You sighed in disbelief because you just wanted to have a peaceful night but you thought that it wasn’t really possible now. The music was hip-hop, you liked hip-hop but not right now because you weren’t really in the mood to jam to that type of that music.

You slid your curtains to the side and you looked out the window to see your neighbour’s window open. Now you knew where the music was coming from. It was from your neighbour’s house. You really wanted them to turn it down but you didn’t even know who your neighbour was so you just decided to let it go.

Wow, this day really wasn’t going well for you, huh? You thought. Was peacefulness too much to ask?

You left your curtains open but you shut your windows closed so that the volume of the music would lessen a bit.

You grabbed your snacks from the table and your laptop from your desk. You brought these to your bed as you wanted to lay in your bed and take a nap. To cancel out the loud hip-hop music that was currently playing from your neighbour’s house, you decided to play your favourite sad playlist to get you to sleep.

You were slowly dozing off to sleep when you heard your phone make a notification sound. Again, was peacefulness too much to ask? You were about to fall asleep and take a good nap but this person decided to bother you. You sighed while grabbing your phone from your side table.

“Lai Guanlin wants to share a photo with you. Accept or Decline?”

Confusion. Thats what you felt when you received that notification.

Um what? Who was Lai Guanlin? And how close could he be to you that he can airdrop you something? What the hell?

It took less than a minute for you to actually make a decision whether to accept it or not. You hesitated but you decided to accept it anyways.

A smile formed in your face once you saw the picture that was sent. It was a meme but was it really a meme? I mean, You couldn’t help but laugh because it was a cute picture of a sad dog that said “Turn that frown upside down” with another dog smiling. Who wouldn’t smile at this picture?

“Baejin look at that dog!!! Its cute isn’t it???” Lai Guanlin sent you this message.

Again, you were confused. Was this an accident? Who was Baejin? The only Baejin that you knew was that new student in your English class who just transferred last week. Still confused, you decided to reply to whoever this Lai Guanlin was.

“Thats a really cute dog and that made me smile but this isn’t Baejin LOL” Once you were done typing the message, you placed your phone back to your side table and you silently laughed when you realized that this person just accidentally sent you that picture.

He replied and this was your conversation,

Lai Guanlin: OH MY GOD I ACCIDENTALLY PRESSED YOUR NAME, SORRY IT WAS FOR MY ROOMMATE!!!! Well this is embarrassing…

Y/N: LOL no its fine, it was actually cute. Btw, if you were able to airdrop that picture to me, how close are you to me right now?

Lai Guanlin: Oh? I don’t know how your name even appeared either but I told Baejin about what happened and he said that you’re our neighbour so maybe thats why I was able to accidentally send it to you

Y/N: Oh! Baejin. Yes, I know him. He’s one of the students who recently just transferred to the school and is actually in my English class

Lai Guanlin: Yes him LOL. I’m Guanlin tho!

Y/N: Hi, I’m Y/N. By the way, do you mind turning down the music a little bit? I was gonna take a nap and study right after. I like hip-hop too but its not the type of music I can fall asleep to lol

After sending that message, your could hear that your neighbour started to lower down the volume to the point that you can barely hear it anymore. You assumed that he lowered it down because of your text.

Lai Guanlin: Sorry about that, if you ever need to tell me to lower down the music or anything, don’t hesitate to text me! You have my number now ;)

You smiled upon reading the text. Actually, you didn’t end up taking a nap anymore. Something about this person woke you up and made your day better. Your mood actually lifted up. You eventually had to bid goodbye as it was finally time to study and do work. But that wasn’t the end of it.

Ever since that “accident”, you and Guanlin would constantly start texting each other by sending random memes. You also found out that he and his other friends recently just moved in to the house beside yours. He was also in the English class that you were talking about. You felt bad that you only knew Baejin but Guanlin didn’t really take it to the heart since you guys were now closer.

Everyday he would airdrop you a picture and you would do the same. You both would just constantly laugh about the memes. A day didn’t feel complete when Guanlin doesn’t send a random meme. Of course, you would both get so busy but you started to feel a little sad whenever he forgets to message you.

Sometimes, you even felt as if you were clingy. You would use the excuse “Can you send me the notes from todays class?” to him just to get the conversation started. Little did he know, you had all of the notes because you were writing so diligently in class earlier. He would always send it though. No matter how busy he was, he would still try to message you.

You became really good friends with Guanlin and you appreciated the fact that he would always try to cheer you up whenever you were having a bad day. Sometimes you would hang out and just talk about memes and such. But that wasn’t it. Your relationship got deeper.

You started talking about your goals and dreams, your likes and dislikes. He would ask you about your day and you would do the same. You eventually figured that you were catching feelings for this guy but you weren’t sure if he felt the same. You would constantly talk to him. You started to feel attach and this wasn’t good because once you’re attached, it would just be so hard.

After realizing that you have feelings for him, you started to message him less, to reply to him less. You started to distance yourself. You knew he didn’t feel the same. He wasn’t only this friendly to you, who knows, he could be sending a meme to the girl he was talking to earlier during your English class.

In person, you would also start ignoring him and just by giving him the cold shoulder. Guanlin felt sad and disappointed that you were starting to do this. He thought that you guys had a good friendship and he thought that there could be a potential for a relationship. But you started doing nothing but to ignore him.

Days went by and you thought that Guanlin didn’t notice the change in you. Each time you ignore Guanlin, it hurts his pride because he tries to talk to you but all you do is distance yourself even further.

Constantly talking to him caused you to fall for him. You would always talk before but now it lessened.You started to see each other less. You started hanging out less and this was because of your “busy” schedule. But you knew it wasn’t your busy schedule. It was because you wanted to stop catching feelings for him. You didn’t want to fall deeper for him when you weren’t even sure if he would be there to catch you.

Coming home was too peaceful at this point. Everytime you enter your bedroom, there wasn’t any more loud music. It was too quiet. There wasn’t any more memes that was sent. Your night became too peaceful. This wasn’t the type of peacefulness you wanted, especially not after meeting Guanlin.

As cliché as it sounds, Guanlin made your bad day good. His presence made you feel so happy and everytime you part from each other, you always couldn’t wait for the next time you see each other.

He brought butterflies in your stomach each time he would “accidentally” brush his hands against yours.

You could feel your heart drop to the ground each time you would catch him “accidentally” staring at you while you two study for English together in the library.

You couldn’t express it in words how you felt when you accidentally tripped and he caught you with his arms and he said “You’re so clumsy, but don’t worry! Every time you trip or fall, I’ll always be here to catch you.”

You couldn’t do anything but close your eyes and cherish the moment whenever he would “accidentally” fall asleep while watching a movie and his head would just casually fall on your shoulder.

You couldn’t help but feel so thankful each time he would bring you a cup of coffee to class early in the morning because he knew you stayed up late last night but his defense was that the barista “accidentally” gave him two cups of coffee when he only ordered one.

A smile would form on your face everytime he would “accidentally” send a meme in the middle of the night while having stressful study session. He knew you were stressed because he could see you from his window.

Yes, ever since you guys became close, you would always leave your windows and curtains open when you’re studying to see how each other was doing.

You could go on and on how happy he made you feel. You could go on and on with how many accidentally’s happened already and how many of these accidentally’s made you jump up and down on your bed.

Eventually, all of these made you unexpectedly and accidentally fall for him. But, all of these accidentally’s were now just becoming memories.

You came home early after finishing your last exam for the term. All you wanted to do was tell Guanlin how happy and relieved you felt. You wanted to ask him about his exams and how he did. But you couldn’t. You were only able to message each other once this week and it was because you actually didn’t have notes from the previous class.

Entering your bedroom wasn’t as exciting as before. No loud hip-hop music. You slid your curtains to open the window and you noticed that his windows were closed.

You sighed in disappointment and regret that you distanced yourself from him when you guys could’ve kept a good friendship. But after accidentally catching feelings for him. You didn’t think it was possible to do so. Everything he did for you and towards you, you couldn’t help but expect and assume that maybe he was also starting to gain feelings for you.

You felt nothing but emptiness because he wasn’t there like he was before. You jumped in your bed and buried yourself under your blanket and the sadness that you felt. You decided to take a nap to try to sleep off this empty feeling away.

You slowly opened your eyes as you woke up to loud music coming from your neighbour’s house, again. This time, you weren’t annoyed nor you didn’t want him to turn down the music. You missed this. You couldn’t help but smile remembering the first night when you talked.

You were about to get up when you received a notification from your phone. For the first time in a while, you felt excited just because of a notification.

“Lai Guanlin wants to share a photo with you. Accept or Decline?”

Without any hesitation, you accepted it faster than a blink of an eye. It was a meme, but you weren’t sure if it was really a meme. Because memes were supposed to make you smile or laugh but this particular meme suddenly started to make you tear up.

This meme said “I like you…. I miss you… And I can’t wait to see you…” Another dog meme, just like the first time he accidentally airdropped you something.

You didn’t know whether you should cry or run to his place and see him because of the emotions that were currently overflowing. You could feel your heartbeat speed up just by the thought of him feeling the same way.

Lai Guanlin sent you a message.

Lai Guanlin: Oh, I accidentally sent that ;)

You couldn’t help but smile upon reading the message. You grabbed your coat and then headed out of your bedroom to go to his place to see him and tell him what you’ve been feeling all along.

Because, out of all the accidentally’s that you shared together, this was your favourite one.

Guanlin Best Friends to Lovers

this is my first scenario on this blog, I wrote this a few days ago and I really just wanted to get something out there

you and Guanlin became friends in high school during gym class

you two were placed on the same team for basketball

and you just happened to be the worst in your class while he was one of the best

you kept missing your shot whenever one of your teammates would throw the ball to you

and the teammates were getting irritated with you and overall stopped passing to you

so you were caught off guard when Guanlin passed to you and was doing his best to block the other team from you

"shoot it"

you surprisingly made the shot

"aye good job" Guanlin cheered, high-fiving you

"thanks" you smiled

he smiled back, showing his dimples

after class you were in the gym waiting for the bell to ring

"hey y/n"

you turned to see Guanlin

"what's up?"

"i was wondering if you wanted any help with basketball? we're going to be in this unit for a while so i was just wondering. you seem to be pretty good though"

"i missed almost every shot"

"yeah but that's just because everyone was yelling at you. you did fine when i passed it to you earlier"

"um- sure"

"can you meet after school today?"

you nodded

"sweet, see you then"

you two began practicing after school almost everyday

after a few practices you exchanged numbers

when school got out he invited you over to his house to play with you in his driveway

and sometimes just so he could spend time with you

you naturally developed feelings for the boy

you thought about distancing yourself so it wouldn't ruin your friendship

but that was hard considering you and Guanlin were practically inseparable

one day Guanlin invited you to his house

and when you showed up he motioned for you to join him in the garden

he mentioned his parents were fighting recently and started pouring out his stress to you

and you rubbed his back to soothe him

and that's when he just kinda let it slip

"thanks for being here for me y/n"

"no problem, i care for you i don't want to see you go through that alone"

"always giving me reasons to like you more aren't you?"

you fell of the bench you were seated on

"um excuse me whAT"

he chuckled

"don't act like your not interested"

"what do you mean????" you laughed nervously

"i've seen you check me out when you think I'm not looking"

"ahaha yeah"

"i still want to hear you say it though"

"why? it's embarrassing"

"exactly"

he stared at you intensely, waiting for you to say something

"I'm waiting" he hummed

"how am i supposed to say it when you're staring at me like that"

he chuckled again, covering his eyes "I'm waiting"

"fine i like you too Lai Guanlin. happy?"

"not quite" he said opening his eyes

you looked so cute to him with your innocent eyes, flushed cheeks, and shy smile

he placed his hand at the back of your neck before pulling you into a kiss

he pulled away and you looked as red as the roses you were standing by

"now i think I'm satisfied"
