i can kinda understand where the mindset here comes from, but being part of the show's crew doesn't make them immune to criticism

posts of such nature will follow the same rules as any other. if an individual is directly named, the submission won't be posted. if there's a vague confession in which someone reasonably expects it's about them and they contact us off anon about it, it will be removed. if something is just downright abhorrent, either the submission won't be posted or it will be deleted later if i misread it

Solar redesign/headcanons

I really love his design in LAES thumbnails and mostly took inspiration from it. I also gave him steampunk vibes (not on purpose but it does fit him in my opinion) and made him a little stocky. Messing with body shapes is kinda nice

I actually had a thought that maybe Ruin wanted to get rid of creator's council.. but oh well.. his solution while very effective was awful cause it was obvious that if creator wouldn't exist any of celestials wouldn't exist as well.. also I'm not surprised that creator is a vital part of dimension.. after all, he plays a big role in what's happening in a dimension...

Sadly Solar died.. I had a feeling that Ruin won't die.. same goes for Sun.. it was obvious that Sun won't die now...

I hope that Moon will be able to come up with something to bring Solar back.. maybe Eclipse could help? But honestly I doubt that he would want to :(

I did my best to copy the artist's original style they did for the thumbnail and I think I did a pretty good job!

It took nearly six hours according to ibis paint! And I messed up a bit on Solar's face but I do plan to go back and try and fix it tomorrow! I'm just tired since I kept working all day on drawings for the episode

Omg, these episodes. Moon's absolutely deadpan voice. Eclipse actually doing what Moon asked instead of just killing him like he wanted to (and probably what Ruin wanted). I was pretty surprised! Eclipse likes to needle and pry, but this time he just...let it go.

Fuckin' Ruin though. Something in him broke long ago, I think, and that's why he was able to do what he did.

But the other channel - when I saw the thumbnail I said "oh, all the grief is on this channel rn".

The utter misery in Sun's voice.

Earth's shrieks of "I can't do this anymore!"

I think Lunar has been through so much lately he's not able to process it. From how he was trying to take care of Earth and the way he was talking about it being a nightmare but not grieving like the other two (yet)...honestly it's a familiar feeling. Holding everything in so tightly and trying to help others because everything in you rightfully fears that you'll shatter if you don't.

The voice acting in this episode was insanely good, and the different reactions between everyone was so important for their characterizations. Sun has been through loss before, but not like this. Earth is still fairly new - the loss she's experienced so far shows in her breakdown, compared to Sun's misery. Lunar has been through a lot, but generally doesn't deal with it and I think we're seeing that here.

I managed to be ok for the sams episode, but broke immediately for tlaes. I cried :(
