Went to this super cute restaurant after work. It’s on the top floor of Bal in Kyoto ☕️
I moved to Kyoto a few months ago, and I have so much time on my hands, I ended up reading 15 books since then.
Other than textbooks, I haven’t read 15 books for fun since I was in high school. So I’ve fallen back in love with fictional worlds

This is my first post.
I’m a Japanese and i just want to introduce about Japan.
There is Fushimi inari - shrine in Kyoto Japan.
I think it’s very famous of shrine in Kansai-area for tourists.
Long time ago, I hadn’t seen English signs but now there are many English signs.
I believe that you have enjoyed time in there.
Place: Fushimi inari - shrine in Kyoto Japan
Access: near by Fushimi inari station

I take thorough looks on japan.its beauty is unique, amazing. So i take time to post photos of japanese landscapes. They’re great, making me smile:) So i also give a good outline of what is what, where precisely is.
First image above:Is a photo in kyoto. A Nice way to enjoy cherry blossom season in Kyoto is to take a boat, ride down the Okazaki Canal by Heian Shrine. The traditional-style boats called jikkokubune depart from the Nanzenji Boat Pier for a 3km (25 minute) round-trip canal cruise that takes in the beautiful sakura.
Second is Sakura Blossom In Osaka Japan.
Third is Mt. Fuji with the Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Park.

In the spirit of Halloween coming up next month, I thought I might experiment and try out something completely different than what I normally do.
So sometimes, I get these very vivid, almost cinematic dreams, and one such dream happened to me the other night that was kind of like a scene from a horror movie. It didn’t feel like a nightmare per say, but it definitely was creepy, which is something that rarely happens in my dreams.
Basic premise: a girl living in Kyoto, Japan, gets possessed by a demon and undergoes these really awful transformations into various types of monsters, she seeks help from a demonologist/exorcist from America who works to try and help her. Did this get resolved? Nope; I woke up that morning and thought, “well that was pretty damn weird, I should draw that!”
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this horror movie poster for a dream I had. Maybe I’ll do more Halloween/spooky art for next month if I have the time? Who knows. 🙃🎃👻

The proportions are terribly off, since I had to draw this in dim light- But oh well, these are meant to be fun anyways! And I had fun.
This is Kinkaku-Ji temple!! The very same temple that inspired the pokemon, Ho-Oh! I saw this sewer grate with Ho-Oh on it, and wondered if I was in the place that inspired the story...but I was only certain when our tour guide reminded me, that phoenix in Japanese is literally: "Ho-Oh".
Not to mention the temple having been on fire before, just like in the game!? Such a cool revelation! So you could say...this is a meeting of Ho-Oh's! I wonder if Ho-Oh is telling its predecessor about all the kids that keep trying to catch it around the world...Hahaha, it's nice to finish this page of my sketchbook- onto the next!

I’m trying to romanticize my life a little more each day.
The Garden of Fine Art was gorgeous
We finally had a nice, warm spring day so I had to go out and enjoy it
The admission was only ¥100, and surprisingly not many people were there. It was the perfect place to relax, take photos, and get in a few chapters of Love, Theoretically
It was a slow Saturday. One of the best kinds of days
Gallery: Garden of Fine Art
Location: Kitayama, Kyoto
