ITS FINALLY FUCKING DONE-

My boyfriend got me one of those GORGEOUS koi lanterns from @yuumei-art -

Took me all the way since Christmas to slowly make my way to the finish line...Several fins ripped. There was much pain and suffering- (I've never been good with paper crafts.)

But in the end I'm really happy with how it turned out! ...Now I just have to find a way to hang this up...without breaking it further...Along with all these shells I got to go with it...

I'm especially happy with the cloud design I did! Definitely want to get another one...I have so many ideas on how to decorate them...!?? Oh no, this is going to be an addiction isn't it...

(Also...props to my bratty menace of a turtle for killing all 3 snails I put in her tank as a clean up crew- I can't say I'm...super happy about that?? But at least they will forever be remembered and preserved as decor with this fish-)

Surprisingly...A very quick response and fix.

That's nice, at least. But it's still frustrating and honestly...rather disturbing that I had to send a photo of my FACE to get this appeal?

I checked over guidelines. They won't share that picture anywhere else. (They better not)

What the hell...

RedBubble just suspended my account with no reason given- And they're asking for a photo of my FACE holding up a paper with some info in order to appeal it!? What is this, a mug shot!? I was excited to start too- What the hell is this??

Friend of mine showed me this old art I sent via EMAIL as a kid, of my favorite anime character- And gave me the fun idea to redraw it on the anniversary of said email, 11 years later...Well, it's definitely BETTER but...I did rush it. (His neck is too long, and I didn't bother doing a cleaner job editing it in photoshop.) Still, it's nice seeing how far I've come! From March 9, 2013...all the way to March 9, 2024-!!

Got commissioned to do this T-Shirt design based off a shirt from an upcoming book, written by the commissioner!

It doesn't have a publishing deal yet, but the book is called "To Fall and Fly". A sequel to "To Reach and See".

As someone who got early access to the first drafts, highly recommend if you're looking for something really fresh and inspiring in the YA genre, that adults can enjoy too! Keep an eye out for it, as it hasn't started advertising yet!

At long last... A proper illustrated introduction to the OC that's been my brain rot for the past year- It was always hard to describe him because of how differently he acts depending on who he's with. Happy with how this turned out! Makes things clearer.

The eldest of 10 adopted brothers, set in the world of Dislyte- Blessed with the powers of Shenlong, a Chinese dragon of storms...And he's REALLY not happy about it constantly giving away how he really feels.

...More sides to him than a D20 dice- He's gotten too into the habit of controlling his every mannerism, depending on the situation at hand.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

AFTER ALL THIS FUCKING TIME- I CANT BELIEVE I WAS CLOSE WITH THIS THEORY? OH SHIT-

I stood by it for a long time, but the more the story went on, the more I started to wonder if I was totally off. I felt Meimei, Kai, Sgt. Chen- and the station master and his wife, must all be the same people at different parts of their lives, or their kids, in order for the alzheimers theory to be correct.

But I ended up quickly dismissing it because May's eye colours always changed. From red, to blue, to green. Turns out it was TRUE THOUGH-!? OH SHIT-

What a phenomenal story. I'm surprised it ended so quick, I thought Horizon would be another station- but turns out not quite. Still...it hits hard. It's rather personal for me, since my grandma is also suffering from dementia. The horrors and inevitability of it as shown in the game, were done exceptionally well I think. Truly incredible stuff.

I feel like I'm going big brain mode-

Deemo II theory that the world is made up of the composer's memories, as he tries to immortalize his loved ones and the happiest moments in his life. However, he's losing his memory (the rain) and thus, people are "blooming" (being forgotten).

It seems evident that the notes in the collection are written by the composer:

This may also explain the unfinished music sheets and why most residents have names, but others are just "walker", "welder", or "barrista", people he knew and were fond of as part of his memories at the station, but never knew their names.

Echo and the Station master being the only "human" looking characters may also be because the composer knows them best/wants to hold onto their memories the most.

The Ancestor and the Loomers might signify a traumatic experience of a disaster that maybe killed all these people, hence the composer tries to fight them off because he does not want to accept their deaths yet. This is why they are frozen now, as he no longer recalls the details of the disaster, but their impact still looms over his mind.

And finally....

Why does playing the piano slow the rain, his memory loss?

Studies show that music can help patients with dementia regain parts of their memory. This lady who says she doesn't remember how to play the piano, is still able to perform a whole piece beautifully:

I think this is a story of an old man nearing the end of his life, losing his memory, but wanting to hold onto the happiest moments of his life. The composer is the man we see at the end of Chapter 1, holding the bouquet of flowers.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was breathtaking...Highly reccomend for anyone visiting Busan. The legend there, and the countless golden leaves with written wishes, was truly a sight to behold.
