I thank you all for accompanying me these past 45 episodes. We laughed, we cried, we made new friends and foes. I got to date a smoking hot kunoichi and now we get paid to laze around and do nothing... life is good.

To the people frustrated about how Madara is going to pay his taxes.
Botan isn’t a monster. They’ll do a means test.
Botan will also probably mercy on Madara’s late filing after getting a look at his Moon Plans, some leniency for a person of questionable faculties, and such.
Exactly. Botan's a proud KRS shinobi and they're going to do things by the book. At least at first. If Madara is uncooperative ,,, well.
Plus Madara is an Uchiha so if he can get the acting Clan Head's permission (since his own claim to the title expired some time ago and would only default back to him now if Sasuke were to die) he can have access to the Uchiha Clan accounts to help pay any outstanding debts and fees he's now obligated to take care of.

There's no songs being sung by the cast of Kamen Rider Gotchard as of posting this, but it is curious that the Rider seasons after Kamen Rider Zero-One has some of their actors sing some songs for the show.
Is it because of how good of a singer Takahashi Fumiya was? However, 8loom! came into existence in the middle of Geats's run.
Maybe they do feel like they failed to take full advantage of their actors' talents due to a variety of reasons hence them giving the cast members songs to sing to during the production of their Rider season.
I for one am excited what songs are going to be sung by Houtaro, Rinne, and Spanner and the whole Alchemist students we've been following.

the whiplash between watching Geats 40 and Tycoon Meets Shinobi was heavy...
anyway, we're adding Sara to the list of people who danced Neon's dance, bonus points because Sara actually lessened the enemy's power by kicking it away from the enemy's hand lol.
I didn't watch Tycoon meets shinobi.
Cause I will be fucking honest. With how disappointed i am in geats as a show and it's character writing.... I could not be damned to watch the side content.
Like i just don't give a fuck anymore... They are gonna keep adding more bullshit along the way and I genuinely fucking can't.
It's a yuya Takahashi show and characters. They will only get worse in side shows. Or get killed off. I just can't torture myself anymore.
Same 3 plots, rest is copied from other kr shows... Outside of great suit design and sexy fight choreo, is there actually anything good?
The girls were doing great until yuya remembered they existed and now one of them is dead, we just can't have nice things here.
It's a shit show is what it is.

He's basically asking why was there a lot of response to the Shinobi Spin off (Tycoon meets Shinobi i think) and not him being appointed as KR Ambassador lol
I could think of at least four people who would be a better fit for that job than Sou XD
1 - Hiroshi Fujioka. DUH. He may be getting on in the years but he's always up to the task, so we may as well have the OG repping the Riders, no?
2 - Masahiro Inoue. He's fucking Decade. 'Nuff said.
3- Shun Nishime. Probably the guy who's reprised his role the most often since his own show barring the aforementioned Pinky.
4 - Junya Komatsu. The actual, official ambassador of the Ishinomori Manga Museum who hails from the same hometown as the creator of Kamen Rider and became a Kamen Rider himself.

i binge-watched kamen rider shinobi and was like, yeah i can sit through 40 more episodes of this. but we all know that's near impossible so i wrote this instead

Oh. Isamichi realizes somewhat dizzily. That’s a lot of blood.
Then he sobers up when it hits him that it’s Kamen Rider Shinobi- Rentarou’s blood.
“Rentarou.” His own voice sounds scratchy to his ears. “Hey, come on. Wake up, Rentarou.” He doesn’t dare shake him by the shoulders. There’s a huge hole opening up on Rentarou’s stomach, an ugly harrowing gash, and his hands are shaking as he wraps bounds and bounds of cloth over the wound. What if Isamichi makes it worse? “Can you please say something?” Anything would do, really. Anything to prove that Rentarou is still alive.
A weak hand hooks on Isamichi’s wrist, and he barely stifles a jolt, reluctant to further aggravate Rentarou’s unstable condition. “Your voice is too loud, Icchi.” Rentarou says.
“You’re alive.” Isamichi finally allows himself to breathe, then remembers to lower his voice. “That’s good. You’re pretty badly injured, Rentarou. That’s less good.”
“Help me to my feet, Icchi.” Rentarou instructs. “I’m not that badly injured.”
“You sure? There’s a hole in your body.”
“Yeah.” He says, and Isamichi helps him sit up. “I mended parts of it already, but I’m still going to need better medical care.”
“Okay.” Isamichi says. “Yeah. That’s fine.” He's never been so grateful for Shinobi's ninpo prowess. He's also never been so grateful that he's rich, and can afford medical bills even at sketchier hospitals.
He carefully slings Rentarou’s arm over his shoulders, and makes sure he’s taking most of Rentarou’s weight when the both of them get to their feet slowly. Don’t stumble now. Rentarou deserves to feel safe. “I’m still in shock.” He informs his friend. “Out of all the faces I thought I might see behind that mask, I never expected yours.”
“Sorry to disappoint.” Rentarou laughs, the wheeze in his voice vaguely concerning.
Isamichi shakes his head, though he’s not sure if Rentarou could see. “I thought you’d be safe.” He says. “Away from the whole kamen rider mess.”
“Aw.” Rentarou teases. “Icchi sure is a softie.” Isamichi wants to hit him over the head.

After watching Shinobi’s first episode, I wonder...why am I still watching Zi-O when I could be having this as a show?
The premise is interesting, Japan tries to avert the impending doom of Global Warming by looking to its past and rediscovering the mystical elemental creation and manipulation powers of ninjutsu, with the Diet making it a requirement in 2022 for every Japanese citizen to learn at least some level of ninja training. However, an evil ancient ninja clan called Rainbow Snake is secretly behind this, wanting to attain power for themselves and control Japan.
In this crazy world, people use Ninpo for cooking, labor and even tournament battles. People even commute on ninja gliders using air manipulation jutsu techniques! So this is the tokusatsu equivalent incarnation of things such as Naruto but also could be seen as a spiritual successor to ninja tokus such as Akakage and Henshin Ninja Arashi.
Our hero Rentaro has to pretend to be a bumbling ninja so his secret identity as Shinobi is never found out by the bad guys since he is really a ninja prodigy. His sister is the princess of the enemy faction, which she doesn’t know about, meaning Iroha is probably adopted. (still makes her crush on Shinobi kinda icky) Rentaro’s job is to keep his adopted sister away from the Rainbow Snake clan, as them finding her and taking her back will lead to an unspecified end of the world type scenario.
Technology in 2022: Teleportation, hologram environment simulations and interactive projections, plus ninja gourds that produce belt materializing liquid and ninja mechas that bestow Rider armor. But otherwise pretty much like now in the real world with crooked politicians who openly reject environmentalism leading to the disaster of our planet’s environment continuing to slowly deteriorate.
The Konjou Company is a thing in this world too, a business that hires the best ninjas in the land to work for them and determines that through ninja tournament competitions. Given fan experience with past seasons of KR and stated outright by Rentaro himself, they are unsurprisingly the backers of Rainbow Snake, giving them the funds and presumably tech to do their operations.
There is a disturbing hint of classism in the world too, as those who have weak or no potential for ninjutsu are on the very bottom of society, often taking menial tasks or unable to find work and struggling in poverty. Those with prestige and or have high ninja power skill are naturally part of the 1% or well off.
So yeah, this is definitely something to get into, but then Toei decided to twist the knife when this little mini-series project finally ended and the credits rolled...
Either these are four new ninja Riders, or Shinobi’s alternate battle forms. Each of them is based on a ninja weapon (and presumably an animal but there is no way of indicating that motif without the transforming mechas). The bottom magenta one is based on smoke bombs and explosives and has bomb boxing gloves for fists, the top green one is based on sickle weapons such as the kusarigama and kama (and possibly a mole in animal theming, which feels like a pun given ninjas are known for spying), the cyan one in the third picture is based on sais, and the yellow-brown one (personal fave) in the middle is based on kunai blades!
So there you go, Kamen Rider Shinobi, a concept so cool that Toei doesn’t want to use it as a full series.

So in Zi-O by the time of new year's day of 2022, KR Shinobi was active.
Wouldn't that mean that he was active in the year 2021 and 2022?
But we had Saber for that sooooooooooo....
yeah, this is just me rambling.
You have to remember that all the future Riders from Zi-O- Shinobi, Quiz and Kikai- are from alternate timelines, where Sougo does go bad and Geiz had to defeat him. However, because Sougo didn't go bad and Geiz never had to defeat him, the future Riders' timelines became defunct, at least in the "main" universe.
In other words, all the future Riders could still theoretically exist, just not in the same universe as the Reiwa Riders (Zero-One onwards). So Shinobi could still be running around, just not in the same 2022 that Ikki and Vice are in.
