Amnesiac Revan: How can The Jedi Council send a completely inexperienced padawan like me to stand against Malak?
Bastila: Hmmm?!
Amnesiac Revan: It just appears as if they want to get rid both of me and Malak at once.
Bastila: ...

I absolutely love the first picture here, a drawing of my character from Kotor1. I tried to do it again, but to be honest, the first one is just so perfect for what I was going for, that any new attempt was only going to be inferior.

Alright. I finally completed the Dantooine missions, found the Star Map in the ??? Ruins, and I now have full access to all the game’s worlds (besides Taris. Unfortunately, Malak wanted to open his Life Day Present of Bastila’s death too early). There’s four major places I can go to:
Tatooine
Kashyyyk
Manaan
And Korriban
Korriban, the Sith homeworld, seems like it would be a suicide mission to go there immediately. And I’ve been told not to go to Manaan, though not given an idea why. My options currently are, at the moment: Tatooine, Kashyyyk, and Manaan. Where should I go to first? What benefits would I get if I went to Tatooine as opposed to Kashyyyk or Manaan first?

Juhani DOES NOT have a canon age. Please stop spreading misinformation that claims she has one.
I have seen it happened more than once that someone claims Juhani is canonically at a certain age during the events of KotOR, usually by claiming Juhani is only a teenager in KotOR, so I have to make this post to debunk it. There was already a post in the KotOR tags containing this misinformation that have been reblogged or believed by others without question. I would like people to stop spreading misinformation that claims to be canon.
The truth is: Juhani's age is never confirmed in any official sources. Anyone who claims otherwise is misrepresenting information from Wookieepedia and the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide.
Juhani's age is never mentioned in the KotOR game itself. She mentioned in one of her conversations that she was a baby when her parents took her to escape the Mandalorians' attack on the Cathar homeworld. However, the game itself never stated how long ago did Mandalorians attack on the Cathar homeworld happen.
Juhani's article on Wookieepedia lists her birth year as "By 3973 BBY". It does not mean exactly 3973 BBY. In fact, that detail on Juhani's article has a footnote explaining it:
Juhani was born prior to the Battle of Cathar, an event that Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide dates to 3973 BBY, which means she must have been born in or before that year.
Note the word "or before" here, which means even the article itself does not pinpoint exactly when Juhani was born. Speculation of Juhani's age merely comes from the date of the Battle of Cathar in the KotOR Campaign Guide, which was released after both KotOR games. As I mentioned above, the KotOR game itself does not mention exactly how long ago did the Battle of Carhar happen.
Please double-check your sources before spreading information that you think is canon.

I saw some of your old posts about not watching Castlevania but liking the games. I'm just curious, did you watch it since?
Nah, I've been more into video games lately and it just didn't catch my interest enough to take it off the giant-ass backlog lol

SWTOR Headcanon: I Ship Jaymizu Poh and Achitan
For those who don't remember, these two were involved in the "Reclaiming What's Ours" mission in Republic-side Taris.
Tumblr media
Jaymizu Poh
Tumblr media
Achitan
Jaymizu and her blustering brother, Relus, are looking to reclaim their family's lands (from 300 years ago) on Taris. When they can't get the Republic military to help, they turn to the player for help.
Of course, the player discovers that the squatters are a group of non-human's led by Achitan whose ancestors had an even older claim. Their land had been repossessed by the Senate at some point, apparently due to anti-non-human bigotry.
(Mind you, that would have been long before KOTOR1, much less SWTOR. There are VERY few examples of Republic anti-alien bigotry in the SWTOR stories.)
In my Halcyon Legacy, Ulannium Kaarz, my Barsen'thor, enountered these two and brokered a settlement.
And... i'm shipping them. I headcanon that both of them evacuate Taris when the Empire attacks, with Relus and most of Achitan's friends not making it.
And they find comfort with each other, eventually forming an organization to help refugees.
Anyone like this?

If you follow the modding scene of Knights of the Old Republic, you might be aware of a conversation with Juhani where the player asks her why she is hostile towards Canderous. It is a commonly assumed that it is cut content, because the condition to trigger said conversation is unknown by the KotOR community, and there are mods that aim to restore said conversation.
After thorough investigation into the game files, I finally discovered that it is actually possible to access Juhani's conversation about Canderous without any restoration mod. However, the issue is that in the vanilla game, the condition to make said conversation available is very specific, thus making it extremely easy to miss. Therefore, what restoration mods do to this specific Juhani conversation is making it easier to access.
Here are the conditions to make Juhani's conversation about Canderous without restoration mods:
Firstly, you need to have both Canderous and Juhani in your party when talking to certain NPCs on Dantooine. Canderous will make comments when you talk to those NPCs, then Juhani will interject and show hostility towards Canderous. Specifically, these interjections happen when you:
Talk to Gar at the courtyard outside the Jedi Enclave and ask him about the problems with kath hounds and Mandalorians
Accuse Handon Guld of murdering Calder Nettic for cheating on his wife, during the "Murdered Settler" side quest
Tell Nurik Sandral you are investigating Shen Matale's disappearance, during the "Sandral-Matele Feud" side quest
You need to hear Juhani's interjections to Canderous' commentson at least two of the above occasions..
Secondly, you need to progress Juhani's conversations to the point where she reveals that her family fled to Taris because the Mandalorians attacked the Cathar homeworld and slaughtered many Cathar people. It is after this conversation where you get the dialogue option to ask Juhani why she is hostile towards Canderous.
As evidence, I have recorded and compile the above video myself to show Juhani's interactions with Canderous and Juhani's conversation about Canderous.
