Family Pack #4

I’m happy to share some sims with you all today! In this post, you’ll find 12 households (40 sims total), each with their own stories and biographies. All of these sims have additional Everyday outfits, skills, bonus traits, Likes and Dislikes, sexual orientations, pronouns, family dynamics, and Lifestyles. Abreu

A respected food critic, Maria’s opinion is highly valued by all as the towns’ baked good connoisseur. Her husband Joaquin, a renowned pianist, is no exception; he worships the ground she walks on. Together, they project their creative outlooks onto their sons. Santiago, the eldest and a romantic, has the full support of his parents and wants to become a professional wedding photographer. Even though young Rémy feels he didn’t inherit his parents’ imagination, he still wants to make them proud.

Naval

Aparna owned her own restaurant while raising her two girls alone. Hema was able to help out when she was old enough, allowing Aparna to find success and receive critical acclaim by publishing her own cookbook. Today, Hema is focusing on her engineering studies while trying to find love; she’s very smart and sincere, but a bit naive. Ridhi is chasing a riskier path; she wants to be a famous musician. And while Aparna hopes that this is just a phase, she supports her youngest daughter anyway.

Monaghan

As young parents, Stefan and Marianne sacrificed a lot. Stefan became a cop to support his family, but still gets caught up trying to relive his youth from time to time. Marianne longs for the day that she can quit her job at the local diner and become a singer. Soren feels pressure to please his parents, but really just want to play videogames all day while Tatum and Aria constantly bicker, not at all concerned with their parents’ feelings or the wellbeing of Hunter, who just wants attention.

Larson

Quite the jazz singer in his day, Clive is desperate to find ways to stay relevant in the ever-changing music scene. Fiona, longing for the authentic soul who serenaded her years ago, knows she can inspire him again; she’s stood by him through a lot. But until then, you can find the melancholy art critic drinking to yesteryear at the bar. Jade dropped out of college to pursue a career in social media (much to Fiona’s discontent) while Candice is following the artistic path her parents paved.

Agawa

Ever the class clown, Yuto knew that he had a knack for entertaining people. This was only confirmed after he went viral on Social Bunny for the first time! When he told his parents that he wanted to pursue a life in the public eye, they saw it as further evidence that he couldn’t take anything seriously. He makes a decent living streaming video games and his eccentric personality is pure internet gold. Though to be fair, he should probably be a bit cautious with what he says and does online.

Hollifield

As a teen, Whitney’s future looked bright. But she forfeited a lot of opportunities to pursue a whirlwind romance with a boy who had a dangerous edge. They were happy for a time, but it didn’t last and the only thing she kept from that relationship was her daughter Emma. She now works a lowly job in fast food while taking classes at Britechester, hoping to find a career in social media. Her days are busier as a working single mom, but Emma keeps herself entertained by befriending her neighbors.

Catton

Following the loss of her son to avoidable circumstances, Dottie found herself in the care of his two children. Filled with regret for not doing more for her son, the college professor watches the kids like a hawk! She’s keen on using her connections to better their lives. Temperamental Owen does well to make her proud with his grades, but he has an artsy side that he only shares with those closest to him. His little sister Bonnie would rather spend time making friends than studying though.

Qian

After founding a groundbreaking app, Shirong found a place among the company of the rich and powerful. His charming wife Meifing, quite the schmoozer at elite parties, is constantly looking for funding for her next big venture (while also being the go-to-girl for all the neighborhood gossip). Nuo chose to move home after grad school to save money, but is ready to leave and start her own law firm. Her younger brother Haoyu adds to her restlessness by barraging her with his antics.

Sullivan

Atticus’ dad Clifford, a retired veteran, supported his sons’ musical dreams fully, having raised him alone after his wife died. While roaming the world, Atticus met Elisa; a fashion guru with a fiery disposition. The pair had three children and Clifford moved in to help with the newborn. Like her dad, Lydia also wants to be an artist (whether if it’s for her love for acting or a desire to be in the spotlight remains to be seen) while Malicia, afraid of being unseen, finds relief in her friends.

Kingsley-Ramirez

Jaime and Paxton met/moved in together before they could actually get to know each other, both having been new to the city at the time with zero connections. They found themselves compatible not only as roommates, but eventually boyfriends as well! Jaime always puts others before himself; it shows in the passion he has for social justice causes he advocates for. Meanwhile, Pax works a parttime job at a small coffee shop, but is intent on putting himself through school to become a veterinarian.

Tanaka-Murdock

Nigel and Shannon met at Foxbury and developed feelings for each other during study sessions. Though Nigel was the only one to graduate, he admires Shannon for making the decision that was right for her. He enjoys being the breadwinner while Shannon follows her artistic instincts, though he wishes he had his wife’s free spirit. Shannon is quite hard on herself and works tirelessly until she makes something she’s proud of while their son Kason, while a quick learner, really just wants to play.

Miyake

Even if he’s never been the most social person, Kenzo is a loyal and fierce friend to those lucky enough to make it into his circle. A patron of the sciences, he cares deeply about precision and perfection. However, when it comes to raising his son Akira, he wants the boy to follow his own path, even if it’s not exactly the one he would choose for himself. Akira seems to be doing just that; far more sociable than his father, he never fails to leave a lasting impression on anyone he meets.

🍰 his ideal date . . . going to a museum with you.

tsukishima isn't exactly very interested in going out on dates or spending the whole day with another person, he thinks it'll take up too much energy and time. and besides... not a lot of people are into geology like him. though when you entered his life, all this boy could think of was his undeniably strong urge to want to take you to a museum, and just teach you all about the fossils and archaic species of animals that he knew of–and that was a lot–but he feared it wouldn't be your thing, and he didn't wanna bore you or waste your time.

tsukishima didn't want to be selfish and go to where he wanted, he wanted you to enjoy the day over him. but no worries... all you have to do is reassure his anxious self, hidden under his cool facade, that there was nothing selfish about wanting to spend the day with you, the complete opposite of it, really.

if anything... it didn't matter to you where you'd spend the day, just as long as you spent the day with him, you could listen to more of his cute rambling and info dumping about dinosaurs and fossils all he wanted. he did look super cute like that, you thought.

⺌✧❀ osamu miya.

🍙 his ideal date . . . helping you out in the kitchen.

osamu has always had a knack for food and cooking; it could be said that his love language would be sharing food with you, the one thing that gives him the most joy after a long day, second to you, his dearest. he loves coming over to your house to hang out, and if you were ever hungry, he wouldn't hesitate to make you something–though he feels a little self-conscious cooking in a kitchen that he wasn't familiar with. though if you're going to cook, expect osamu to be there, ready to help you make the best dinner you've ever tasted before.

osamu sometimes gets a little anxious about whether or not you'll like the food, and being in the same room as you, doing what he love for the person he loves. it makes him a little uneasy,overthink a little bit–but when you smile and your eyes light up at the taste of his food... he feels warm and delighted; he wants cook for and with you forever, if you wanted him to.

⺌✧❀ kenma kozume.

🍮 his ideal date . . . playing videogames with you.

nothing makes kenma any happier than snuggling up next to you underneath the big blanket, leaning his head down on yours, chuckling a little to himself when you lose a life in the game. he teasingly calls you his little loser, kissing your cheek to cheer you up right after.

kenma stops whenever you fall behind his character in the game to teach you how to jump up on platforms so you two could walk together, and he defends you whenever you fight bosses you struggle defeating by yourself, saving you at the last moment before your hearts run out, and acting all dramatic when he gets defeated before you–laying down on your lap and pretending to fall asleep on you, smiling all cheekily and kissing your stomach as you play.

he rolls over to his side and watches you play, cheering you on, encouraging to avenge him–and when you finally defeat the boss, even without him... he sits up and kisses your lips sweetly, smiling against your lips and chuckling, calling you his little champion.

Similar to that previous ask you answered... What are some more of your headcanons for Hoagie? Yours are very unique and I'm very invested in them

OKAY LET'S SEE.... Yes and also all of my Headcanons are also @sector-v / @eltube 's Headcanons. We share a brain. We mind-meld.

I'm gonna start with their family stuff since that's what I did for Abby!

The most important thing is that hoagie is Jewish, on their mom's side. I have this headcanon that Lydia is a Holocaust survivor but as time passes I wonder if it makes more sense for it to be Lydia's parents who were survivors. Either way, there's a direct line there. hoagie is German on both sides of the family.

That being said, hoagie isn't very devout. They go through the motions of attending services, participating in high holidays (but don't ask if they've ever successfully fasted for Yom Kippur), and they had their Bar Mitzvah- but I don't think they care that much about it really. It's just habit.

The big question we all love to talk about is whether their dad died or their parents are just divorced. My answer is both. Their parents divorced because Betty is a lesbian, but she's still pretty much in the closet even now. Their dad died a few years after that. Both parents are from the Midwest, hence the accents.

On their mom's side, the only family they have is their immediate family. Meanwhile, their dad had a very large family, but there's a lot of tension between hoagies immediately family and the dad's family, cuz they don't like Betty very much. They're very judgemental and the cousins bully hoagie so hoagie resents them a lot.

My idea is that every other Christmas they go and spend it with the dad's family. Hoagie hates this. Ive had a comic idea for YEARS about it, but I've never gotten around to making it

Otherwise... Lemme think

Hoagie is a classic nerd while in middle school, but starts to realize she doesn't actually like those kids very much. She ends up spending more time with other trans women nerds, like Angeline, who plays videogames with hoagie once a week.

No surprise to anyone, she gets into a really good university right out of high school and studies aerospace engineering and applied physics. They ultimately get a PhD in physics. While they love aerospace engineering, pretty much any career path involving it is tied into the arms industry one way or another, so they don't pursue it in any official capacity. I mostly picture them becoming a University professor who also does laboratory research.

I alluded to this when I talked about Abby, but Hoagie and Abby grow very close during grad school, which is when they start dating. They get married and have two kids. Their daughter Naomi takes after Hoagie a lot and has a knack for engineering

Hoagie always remains very close to her mom and brother

decided to rework my redesigns for cap and kinetic

Extra Headcanons from the previous:

Captain Roblox

He's the tallest member of the team (6'2")

🇵🇱🇺🇸

Tends to act like an ambivert, but he's actually an introvert (social introvert?)

Ambidextrous, but uses his right hand the most

Doesn't get annoyed by his teammates, unless it's Overdrive and Tessla trying to push his buttons

Easily gets embarrassed by his middle name, Marilyn

Takes more priority in his performance as a hero, but does make sure to look presentable for the public

Has a low tolerance towards alcohol

Took a few (a lot of) extracurricular activities during High School, but is most prominently a member of his school's volleyball team and captain of the debate team

Kinetic

They're the 2nd shortest of the team (5'6")

Has a soft spot for kids, and easily knows how to take care of them thanks to occasionally babysitting their sister (i never mentioned it in my headcanons prior, but kinetic was 10 years old when their sister was born)

Aside from ASL, Kinetic can sign in other languages

Aside from Overdrive, they haven't introduced their family to the team just yet

Kinetic's pretty good at coding and mods, having a bit of a knack for videogames overall

Transferred schools during 9th grade due to several students making rumors about them, they also took up Special Education after transferring

Stays passive when people in their life get into troubles with romance, they don't really intervine since it's not their business to be in

In constrast, they can forge other people's handwriting, sometimes even using it to troll people

Not to be a hater again, but the writing in the hades is kind of mid, to me. Like it's not bad, but it's not particularly noteworthy, very 'oh it's a videogame'.

Only other supergiant game I played was Bastion which is not necessarily that much better but imo has a really strong bit that carries it

To be fair, I am rarely truly impressed by videogame writing so this is not an issue to me. There's other things to like about hades - the action is great and I think they did some interesting design stuff around the rogue-like game style. Supergiant has a knack for bringing really cool ideas to disparate genres and on that note I'm not that jazzed they are doing another hades - maybe they will iterate on it really well but like. I would have liked them doing something new more, personally.

Voice Appreciation Post

I’ve always loved certain voices. Mostly male voices of a certain timbre, I cannot explain their sound exactly, but when I hear these voices, it does something to me, not necessarily in a romantic/sexual way, mind you. I just enjoy them, very much. They are soothing and relaxing and I could listen to these voices forever. They could say the dumbest or most mundane things, but I would still listen to the sound of them.

And it doesn’t even matter what language they are speaking. I’m German, so my first “voice crush” (if you want to call it that) was a popular voice actor we have here (you see, most/all of foreign movies and shows and video games are being dubbed here and that in a very high quality kind of way), who voiced the German version of Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed II or Geralt of Rivia in the Witcher games, etc. (making these characters my all-time favorite videogame characters, btw).

I also enjoy listening to Japanese seiju - which makes it hard sometimes to read the subtitles of my favorite anime/drama, as I only listen (without understanding much) and enjoy. I don’t know what it is about Japanese men, but most of them just sound so good to me.

As for my newest (or oldest) love and obsession and why I’m writing this post to begin with: I also have a knack for British guys. It’s the accent (I’m not an expert on British accents so I couldn’t tell you which dialect it is or from where it hails, except maybe the Scottish accent, but that’s a no-brainer and also a favorite of mine). So I’ve had my voice crushes on, let’s say, Giles from Buffy, or Mr. Sheffield from The Nanny. (Or maybe I always liked older men too? Hmm.)

This also explains my deep obsession with Chamber of Secrets’ Tom Riddle played by Christian Coulson, whose voice is just, so, ugh. (Highly recommend any audio books he has narrated!) I can’t explain it. It just does things to me.

And the same happened when I played Hogwarts Legacy. I became totally obsessed by one particular voice and you might have guessed from the tags. Sebastian Sallow is not only the best character of the whole game, because he is so versatile and conflicted and adorable and whatnot, but his voice... the way his voice actor (Alfie Nugent, you are my absolute hero, btw!) says things, how his voice just vibrates through me, so low at times, the perfect timbre, no matter what situation Sebastian finds himself in, cheeky, flirty, worried, sad, it always sounds so mind-bogglingly good to me.

I find myself listening to his voice lines over and over again (thank you YouTube) and it helps me so much in writing my fanfiction. I love his voice, really, truly love his voice, it gives me all the good vibes love would do (in a completely platonic kind of way). And it’s just a voice.

Now, speaking about voices, I have to address the AI issue. Is it an issue? Well, I do feel bad for voice actors whose voices are (ab)used without their consent, but from a fan perspective it is the best thing that ever happened to this world. (That took a turn, eh?) Having all these creative people of the Hogwarts Legacy fandom create their own voice lines for Sebastian (and other charaters for that matter) is truly such a blessing. Every day I find more and they are all so good and authentic and the way an AI program can mimic these perfect voices is just beyond me.

So thank you, lovely people who have perfected ElevenLabs, and thank you to the original voice actors for providing those voices in the first place. I salute you all. I thank your voices for keeping me sane in these troubling times we live in.

THE VOICE WILL BE WITH YOU, ALWAYS (#112, OCT 2009)

Scott Chernoff says “Hello there” to James Arnold Taylor as he talks about voicing Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars along with hundreds of other characters, and the time he was nearly silenced—forever.

He’s the heroic Green Arrow Batman: The Brave and the Bold, erstwhile friend Harry Osborn on The Spectacular Spider-Man, Ratchet of the hit series of Ratchet & Clank videogames, and the new voice of modern Stone Age family man, Fred Flintstone.

But there’s one achievement that towers over the others for voice actor James Arnold Taylor: He’s finally fulfilled his life-long fantasy of playing a major role in the Star Wars saga, starring as Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

“I lived and breathed Star Wars as a kid,” Taylor says. “We played all the time—but I was always Han Solo. If somebody told me I was going to be Obi-Wan Kenobi, I would have been like, ‘Wait, I’m the old guy?’”

But despite his tremendous success performing literally hundreds of cartoon characters and videogame voices over the last two decades, Taylor told Star Wars Insider that it nearly all slipped away. “About four years ago,” he reveals, “I lost my voice completely due to toxic mold in our home. When the doctor said, ‘You can’t speak,’ I was like, ‘Uh, that doesn’t work.’”

The incident was a stark reminder of just how precious Taylor’s instrument—his voice—is to him. “I had to start over and change my whole life,” he recalls. “I trained with a gentleman who trains opera singers. I had to learn how to re-use my vocal chords in new and exciting ways.”

EARLY INSPIRATION

Luckily for Taylor—and his fans—the hard work paid off. “I’m stronger now than I’ve ever been. Sometimes, you need something like that to break you down, just to rebuild yourself,” he says.

Now back in the game with three animated series on the air, Taylor is free to pursue the one thing he always loved. “I’ve known since I was four years old that I wanted to do the voices of cartoons,” he says, noting that he drew inspiration from legendary performers like Mel Blanc (who voiced virtually all the Looney Tunes characters), Daws Butler (Yogi Bear), and Don Messick (Scooby Doo and many more). “I was glued to all those guys and memorized their vocal inflections,” he recalls.

“I never had any aspirations to be an on-camera actor—I always wanted to be a voice actor. The truth is I’m the luckiest guy in the world to be able to make my living doing what I always wanted to do.”

STARTING OUT

Taylor started out doing impressions as a stand-up comic and radio disc jockey when he was just 16, moving south to Hollywood from his native Santa Barbara, California, as soon as he got out of school. His first break came in the obscure world of voice doubling, re-recording small bits of dialogue for famous actors who were too busy to come in when a small line needed to be changed. He got a job filling in for Michael J. Fox on the Disney animated feature Atlantis—and soon found himself taking over the lead role entirely for the sequel, Atlantis: Milo’s Return. “I just have a knack for picking up voices,” he shrugs.

Among the stars Taylor has doubled for videogames and feature film looping are Johnny Depp, Billy Bob Thornton—and Ewan McGregor. He started voicing Obi-Wan Kenobi for the first Clone Wars TV micro-series in 2002, then went on to Star Wars videogames and now the new hit TV series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

“Originally, it was to be an exact voice match for Ewan McGregor,” Taylor says. “We basically have the same sound, the same range. So I thought that rather than trying to sound like him, since I know I already do kind of sound like him, I’d just do what he did: try to sound like Alec Guinness. So I started thinking of how he would talk, and I tried to ‘young it up,’ and went, ‘OK, so if I was casually speaking as a young Obi-Wan, I might sound like this.’ I didn’t concentrate so much on sounding like Ewan McGregor as much as I concentrated on sounding like Obi-Wan Kenobi, the character we all know. That seemed to work.”

Taylor explains that for him, focusing too much on precisely matching a specific voice can get in the way of a good performance. “You can get hung up on a voice match where you try too hard to sound like the person and it becomes a caricature. It becomes more the nightclub comic’s impersonation. You want to relax in the voice. You really have to understand how that person would act, and you have to be able to act that way. I always have to envision how he would deliver the line. It’s more than an impersonator would do, because you have to understand the character and be able to say anything in that voice.”

That approach sat well with Clone Wars director Dave Filoni and Star Wars creator George Lucas. “After we’d started the series and done the film, Dave and George said, ‘You have the freedom now to take this and make it your own thing,’” Taylor recalls, adding, “Dave’s vision for Obi-Wan in this series is very specific. He’s trying to show Anakin the right way, but he’s also the calm in the storm. I’m always the straight guy. Most of the time, I’m pulling the reins back on Anakin and Ahsoka, so I’m like the older brother. Nothing really gets to him. But at the same time, I know people may think sometimes he’s a little too reserved, so I’m trying to give him some excitement. Every once in a while, I torture myself and read the message boards, and some people do think he’s got to lighten up. But I just think, ‘Give him time.’ There’s something that happened in a second season episode we did recently, and I can’t really get into it, but it made me think, ‘Oh, we get to see different facets of Obi-Wan in this.’ I’m playing a side of Obi-Wan that nobody’s really seen before.”

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

Taylor thinks that the epic scope of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is allowing a far more personal glimpse of Kenobi than fans have ever seen. “He’s such an iconic figure,” he says, “but you don’t know anything about his personal life. We have many episodes, so now the writers have been exploring those areas. How does he act when he’s gotten up on the wrong side of the bed and he’s having a bad day? What’s his day-to-day relationship with Anakin? It’s been fun to work with everybody and create those parts of his life and his characteristics. I try to put a little of the reserved old Jedi living alone in this deserted part of a desert planet, and the young one who was in the world and so much a part of everything.”

At the same time, Taylor has gotten to give voice to a host of other Star Wars characters, from fan favorite Plo Koon (“Dave said, ‘Think Gandalf,’”— he recalls) to espionage droid 4A-7 (“A whiny, high-pitched guy”) and the medical droid from The Clone Wars movie (“That’s me doing kind of a Jeff Goldblum type voice”).

“That’s another great part about being a voice actor,” he says. “You get to be so many different characters all the time.”

A REWARDING ROLE

All those characters add up to more reasons Taylor is grateful to have re-gained his voice in time to continue his work in the Star Wars universe. “I’m a geek when it comes to this stuff,” he said. “I’m a fan as much as anybody else, so I get into the story, and to me, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is as good as Lost or any other great show. I can’t wait to see the next season, just like everybody else.”

Thinking back on his journey, Taylor adds, “It’s so rewarding. I get so much fan mail from people all over the world, and I’m not trying to sound corny but it moves me—because I’ve always been a fan, and I’ve sent fan letters to people I respect and gotten autographs before, too. So when I get letters from people about how they’re sharing Star Wars with their kids, and they’re thanking me for helping them see this whole universe in a different way, I kind of trip out on it. Daily, I go, ‘Wow, I’m involved in this world, and not just on the sidelines—I’m really involved in the Star Wars universe.’ It’s a great honor.”

Man, the goblins, especially Gundahar, would shit themselves if Knack brought Bendy along. An enemy with little to no weaknesses that can tear through their weapons with little effort. Xander would've been consumed immediately, if only for reminding Bendy of Joey, much like how Dr Vargas reminds him of Henry. Just Xander fawning over toon Bendy while Bendy gives him the most annoyed/disgusted face he can muster.

True lol. Bendy is familiar with goblins from Audrey who told him about them and GENT which used said folk for experiments. Only traditional(low tech) weapon that can harm the Ink Demon are explosives or fire. Bendy would shrug anything else so most goblins are definitely screwed fighting him without proper gear.

Xander was immediately regarded with suspicion the moment he came into the picture. He knows a liar when he sees one and the man's entire order felt too much like Wilson's cult. Knack kept Bendy from biting off Xander's fingers.

You are right on Doctor Vargas reminding Bendy of Henry, well, a more eccentric version. Both men tend to stubborn and their respective lovers tend to pull them back from going too far. Henry's drawings thankfully doesn't explode unlike Vargas' prototype inventions.

Which of (if any) the widfali characters would play rhythm games? And if they do play then, how good are they at it? I’ve been obsessed with rhythm games lately and now I’m rlly curious

Okay, I'm gonna answer the main crew as well as a few others outside of it! (I actually talked about this prior on one of the servers so it's perfect! Also next time you come around, you gotta mention what rhythm games captured ya! xD I'm awful at them but love em').

I'll also give you the run down as to what games they like to do/can do.

Funny, unnecessary ranks for how good are they at the average rhythm game: Baby mode - Easiest peasiest Average Citizen - Normal Let Em' Cook - Expert GIVE ME A CHANCE, PLEASE! - Master/Insane mode

Night Crew:

Lynette and Drake - They share a similar like in games, RPG style, indie, and or games that aren't really focused on competitivity, more story based like Persona, The Witcher, Final fantasy, Hollow Knight, etc. (The difference between these two being Rhythm games, Drake lacks it while Lynette has done a lot of dancing and such with Wicks and Charletta, plus she does have a love for them especially beat saber, I can see her loving guitar hero, and Taiko no Tatsujin (specifically because it's cute)).

Lev - Loves competitive games. Fighting, racing, rhythm, etc. His memorization works well for them, as he just has to get the muscle memory and he's set. He's actually not a big fan of explore or story games, unless they have a good online match system with them.

Alexander - He's a mix of the three above, he likes RPG story games as well as competitive online play. Much like Lev, he has a knack for games, but HE is terrible with rhythm games. He also does not like racing , basketball, any realistic sports games in general. He's not a fan of sports so he finds them boring. (Funny because in that alternate school thing I answered he'd be a jock. xD).

Zilla - Does not play videogames, however, she'd definitely be great at rhythm games once she'd start them.

June - He likes playing them but isn't very good at it. He thinks it's cool to play along with songs. Though, he can only play them if the volume on his speakers are maxed out. Since June can't hear technically and goes by tremorsense (somewhat what Toph from ATLA uses, and from DND). (As it's been explained in the story, he can partially read lips but he goes more so by their thoughts using the physic magic variation, Understanding: basically an advanced version of telepathy).

Tila - Though she loves information, she also is fond of lovely melodies and tunes. Being able to put them together would be very fun to her and I'd imagine she'd get obsessed if she started to play them.

im not sure if that was the point of the post or anything, but i just got a thought and i wanted to share it - i hate the crowd saying buying IKEA furniture makes ur house soulless. yes, the furniture is usually simple in colours and form. but what it means its a GREAT blank slate for decorating it the way you like it!! its so easy to transform it once your style or even just mood changes!! its a good base!

Me and my ex's room was nothing but IKEA furniture... And also tons of posters, knick-knacks, figurines, books, videogames and other junk that made it always look lived in. And fucking cats.

:Name & Meaning:

To hide on Earth, the Princess took the name Hannah Girasole, claiming to be an Italian exchange student. Hannah is an Earth name of Hebrew origin that means ‘grace’, and Girasole is the Italian word for ‘Sunflower’, a bright yellow flower known for its beauty and resilience.

:Age & Birthday:

In Earth years, she is eighteen years old and was born August 21.

:Appearance:

Hannah can always be recognised at a distance by her bright orange hair that seethes like fire. She stands 5’1, and it’s thigh length, curtain straight with fan shaped buns and two thick locks framing her heart shaped face. Her eyes that blaze like stoked embers and her peach coloured cheeks have a high blush when she thinks she's being teased.

As royalty, she always felt stifled but now that she’s on Earth she’s excited to choose her own wardrobe. She has a 70’s flare, loving romper suits in colours and patterns. She also accents her outfits with glass crystal that refracts rainbow arcs as they remind her of home.

:Personality:

Hannah is a hard headed person who thinks she only needs herself. It was how she was raised, her father demanded her strength as feelings would make her fallible. Her own wants and needs must always come second to those of her people.

She is afraid of being seen as frail or useless. Although she acts with kindness she keeps people at a distance and doesn’t encourage friendship. To rely on others is to admit weakness and as Queen it is her responsibility to bear the burdens of others, not the other way around.

Earth has opened her eyes. Without her father watching over her she is slowly allowing herself to experience freedom to choose her own happiness and wellbeing and a warm light within her is beginning to shine! She now has others, and is slowly learning the power that friendship, love and trust can give.

Since coming to Earth everyone has encouraged Hannah to discover herself. She enjoys working in the school gardens, the soil between her fingers and is in awe of the explosive growth of the sunflowers! Usagi and Makoto have shown her how to scrapbook which she has found as a way to show her feelings and collect her thoughts. She also has a knack for videogames and wastes her days with Usagi at the Game Centre Crown.

She also spends a lot of her time staring at the sky. She enjoys the peace of the stars, but loves the explosive colours of fireworks!

She loves going to Seiya's concerts; just hearing his music takes away her worries.

:Family:

Born the only daughter of King Ciro and Queen Leon, she was their pride and joy. Her mother was always of a delicate condition but lavished her daughter with love and attention, playing and singing and telling her the stories of the Sailor Guardians and Ianna’s last great protector. She died when Princess Leonessa was four years old and has since become a hazy memory of warmth and refuge.

Her father was more serious about the responsibilities of her mantle which also made Leonessa resolute in her duties. She worked hard to make her father proud, studying and practising. Leonessa is twisted by guilt that the last time she defied her father it cost him his life. She must become the best Guardian she can be and save her legacy.

:Friends:

Although she is getting to know all the senshi, after landing disoriented and sobbing, she’s taken in by Makoto who becomes her best friend and Earth guide. The pair share her apartment and love to discover recipes. Hannah has fallen in love with the cheesy Italian dish called polenta! Makoto introduces Hannah to the school garden and encourages her to grow sunflowers but mostly she tries to distract her from her constant need to train.

Hannah has a more confused relationship with Usagi, a girl who shares her destiny as ruler of their Kingdoms. Usagi is cheerful, carefree and easily distracted. The Sun Princess is frustrated by her disorganised and undisciplined way of solving problems, but envies the joy she brings to those around her.

She has also been taken under the wing of the Kou family. They treat her like a little sister, Yaten playfully teases her adapting to Japanese custom and Taiki praises her dedication to returning to Pairidaeza. Seiya has become especially protective of her, seeing the same light that shines in their favourite princesses.

:Rivals:

When Hannah landed the Outer’s were patrolling the Earth in the form of concerts and racing tours. When they returned they immediately greeted Hannah with suspicion. Not only did they consider her a trespasser to their system there was something about her Sunstone that interrupted the powers of the Talisman, the Holy Grail and thus Sailor Moon’s Eternal transformation. They dislike how Usagi immediately welcomes her and while they don’t view her as an enemy, the Pairidaeza may not be allies.

It wasn’t until Sailor Moon achieved her new transformation did they begin to trust her.

:Love Interests:

Princess Leonessa was stubbornly resolute, always wanting to show that she could do things by herself and prove she could be the Queen her father wanted.

Seiya Kou started as a clingy brother figure and a distraction, and as Sailor Star Fighter she was overprotective, constantly interrupting her training as Sailor Ianna.

But as Hannah grew, Seiya loved to share all the wonderful things Earth had to offer and a heady freedom she never felt in the palace of Ianna. These experiences drew them closer together despite the knowledge that they would eventually have to go back to their homes.

:Sexual Orientation:

Love was not something she had considered before Earth, but she knows that her feelings do not change whether they are male and human, or female and a Sailor Guardian.

:Background:

In the Pairidaeza (means Heavenly Garden in Sumerian) Star System, known to us as Alpha Centauri, Princess Leonessa was born the only daughter to King Ciro and Queen Leon; their hope and the future.

For a time their lives in Palazzo Del Sole (Sunlight Palace) were perfect. Each night Queen Leon would sing her lullabies and tell her stories of the great protector of Ianna, and King Ciro would watch over them both although harrumphed at the frivolous fairytales.

Sadly it wasn’t to last and when Princess Leonessa was four, her mother succumbed to a wasting illness.

Wrought by loss, King Ciro pulled his daughter tighter. He became protective and knew it was his responsibility to raise his daughter into the Queen he knew she could be; poise and politics, law and integrity.

The older she grew the more distant her memory of her mother became until one day when she was fourteen she sat at her mother's old duchess and a sunflower shaped jewel drew her attention. As she reached for it, it reacted to her touch, blazing with a warm golden light and a power she’d never felt before. Her father snatched it away with a fearful look in his eyes. She promised him she’d never touch it again.

Princess Leodessa grew into a sunny, energetic young lady working endlessly for her people. One day while meeting her people she was introduced to a shepherd named Tummuz. He declared his undying love and petitioned the king for her hand. King Ciro laughed good naturedly but dismissed the idea.

A bitterness overtook the shepherd, he left the planet but he returned with unbelievable power and a coterie called the Judges of Kur, a rogue planet beyond their borders. They demanded Princess Leonessa as a bride. They ravage the land and demand the Princess as their prize.

Desperate to stop the carnage, Leonessa snuck out to confront Tummuz and offer herself in exchange for peace but before the transfer could be made King Ciro interceded, sacrificing himself for his beloved daughter.

As the light faded from his eyes, he pressed Queen Leon’s precious crystal into the princess’s hands. A glow enveloped her before she could say goodbye; she was thrust across space to awaken see on Earth.

It was said to be lost to myth, merely a dull artefact that sat on her mother’s mantle but when Princess Leonessa teleported to Earth the Crystal awoke and bonded with her starseed. It was known by many names. The Golden Light Stone, the Sunstone, the Crystal Sunflower; but within it lies the burning bright power of Ianna.

:Realm of Influence:

Sailor Ianna powers reflects blazing sunlight, vibrant sunflowers and takes the vision of lions with manes burning like solar flares.

:Guardian Animal:

As Princess Leonessa walked the halls of Palazzo Del Sole, Sir Luca (means Bringer of Light) was her constant companion and a knight of her royal court. He was a lamasso, a winged lion that is a symbol of the Ianna royal family. He is a loyal soldier and servant. He defended Queen Leon and will shield Princess Leonessa with his life.

He will not give up his dad jokes.

In his lamasso form stands at shoulder height with a bronzed pelt, brass wings and a flaming golden mane. His roar can clear a concert hall and leave grown men quivering in fear. He is a fierce defender in any fight against the enemy.

He’s frustrated by the Princess’s need to do things on her own, disregarding his advice and confronting the Seven Judges at every chance. He is even more outraged that in order to blend in on Earth she demands he take the form of a sandy coloured maine coon. He hisses, spits, scowls and swaggers at group meetings but standing a little over a foot robs his threats of disembowelment of their power.

He smirks at Artemis and makes showoff, flirty winks at Luna but is equally trying to foil Seiya’s flirting with Hannah.

:Allies/Team Mates:

Despite the newly minted Sailor Ianna’s independent declaration to take the Seven Judges head on by herself, she still needs help.

The Inners have become wonderful teachers, helping her hone the strength and accuracy of her new attacks and tell her tales of their past victories.

What’s more is that after seeing the death of their own princess, the Starlights have taken it upon themselves to act as her missing defenders. While infuriated by their ‘wrap her in bubblewrap’ approach to protection, Sailor Ianna eventually sees it for the genuine affection it is and as her experience grows they put more faith in her ability to take care of herself.

:Henshin Item:

Sailor Ianna has a matching pair of armcuffs that appeared to her when she confronted one of the Judges for the first time. To a civilian eye they look like wired armbands twisted in the shape of sunflowers but anyone with a magical eye sees them for what they are. White circlets ringed in gold and hemmed in gold droplets, with amber diamond jewels with princess cut facets. It sits at a sunflower of gold petals and a ruby hexagram star. When she transforms, Hannah crosses her arms across her chest to press each jewel and shout her henshin phrase.

:Henshin Sequence:

Ianna crosses her arms across her chest to press the jewels of her cuffs and shouts Ianna Sun Power! Sunflower petals, dust motes and golden rays of sunlight and whirling erupt from them.

They spin around her in a whirlwind. They twirl past, she kicks out her legs and the petals cling to form her boots. Rays of light explode from her waist coalescing into her belt which then spill forth into her scarlet skirt in rippling satin waves. The golden sunflower petals continue to tumble, pressing against her chest and fuse into her golden plate armor. Light beams erupt from her chest to form her peach coloured bow and scarlet sailor collar.

Finally the camera pans up behind her head and her flaming waves of hair. The motes of sunlight tangle like beads around her fan shaped buns to form their decorations. The camera spins to focus on her forehead where the symbol of Ianna shines like the sun and then melts into her toothed tiara.

Finally she stands powerful as the guardian of Ianna, Sailor Ianna ready to do battle.

:Guardian Fuku:

The Pairidaeza fuku silhouette looks similar to the Sol fuku but is more striking and colorful.

Pinning her fan shaped buns are toothed bands. Her tiara is white with scarlet bands and a toothed pattern. Her sailor collar is scarlet with a darker maroon stripe. Peach coloured bows are set on her chest and back. Her bodice is white with translucent puff sleeves, a scarlet corset and gold V-d armor plating protecting her midriff. Encircling her upper arms, wrists, thighs and waist are white metal bands with gold trim. Her thigh high boots are maroon.

:Weapon:

When the fight was bleak, Sailor Ianna was able to reach inside herself and manifest the ancestral talisman of the Ianna royal family; the Blade of Light. It is a long double edged sword made of the legendary sun-gold metal the Pairidaeza metalsmiths are famous for. Its hilt bears the family crest of jewel and sunflower, ruby coloured crossguard and with red grip crisscrossed in gold ribbon. The pommel is also decorated with rope tassels.

Ianna smiles, spectral petals of light blossom from her waist, more and more as she spins until as they sunder and rain down on the enemy in a hail of flaming petals.

Ianna appears curled up with the outline of a sunflower behind her. Light beads down from the sky, collecting in the center where Ianna glows brighter and brighter. Suddenly she unfurls with blazing glare of light to blind the enemy.

:Ianna Lion Roar Flare:

Ianna stands with her arms by her side, her hair sprayed out behind her, swirling like a flaming lion’s mane. Each tendril glows with a golden light and as Ianna raises her arms out from her side leaving glowing trails. As her hands twine above her head, the glowing tendrils of her hair look like the brilliant corona of the sun and as she cries the word “Blaze!” they flare to life and lash the enemy.
