Better Bones Profile: Sedgecreek

RiverClan's first Lake deputy, and world famous cutie pie!

[ID: The BB version of Sedgecreek from Warrior Cats. She is a wood-brown tabby with short, comma-shaped stripes of a darker brown. She is short and her body is long, with a chunky tail.]

Clanmew Name: Kyyrakoshu, nickname Kyyko. (Kyyra = Sedge, a type of lido grass + Koshu = Creek, a small, shady river)

Alignment: RiverClan

Relations: Ex-Mate - Greenflower Children - Swallowtail, Beechfur Nyams - Loudbelly (littermate), Duckfur (Sib-in-law) Education - Crookedstar (mentor), Grasswhisker (apprentice)

Mistyfoot realized at the end of BB!TNP that Hawkfrost was not the tiger that lurked within RiverClan. He didn't choose himself as deputy while she was captured, breaking the code in the process. It wasn't his call to defy StarClan's will to delay the Great Journey. It was up to Leopardstar to punish the surviving RiverClan mercenaries who served Mudclaw's insurrection, and overrule the false sign that exiled three cats from her Clan... and she didn't.

Seated atop the stump with the sun setting behind her, Leopardstar's black silhouette invoked Mistyfoot's memory of a powerful cat lording over a pile of bones. Her eyes flashed-- Tigerstar amber, dark forest red. His ideas were an infectious sort of immortal; they will not die unless they are killed.

So with Leopardstar's sudden, 'mysterious' death to a "rogue", Mistystar realized she would need to make a strong, tactical choice of a new deputy. Someone who would be able to help her navigate the tense situation she was in, to balance out the harsh choices she was about to make, to be the honey to her sting.

The choice was obvious. Now, she would have to prepare for the hard work ahead...

Personality and Trivia:

She is CHEERFUL! It takes a lot to make Sedgecreek upset!

Always smiling, never loses hope, always tries to see the bright side of every situation.

"A mistake is just a chance to learn what NOT to do!!"

People like her. She's just a super likeable person, the sort of cat who gets along with people you'd never expect.

She has learned that you should listen twice as much as you talk. She's always there to comfort her friends, family, and clanmates. Very approachable personality.

I imagine a lot of RiverClan warriors are "stocky," longer than they are tall, Sedgecreek especially.

She's also got a very thick tail, making her an excellent and sturdy swimmer.

Her favorite food is pike meat, which Greenflower once wooed her with. Not very many RiverClan warriors are bold enough to tangle with pikes.

Imo, Sedge is a super underrated background character. Her apprenticeship under Crookedjaw is super cute and no one ever talks about it!

and BOY OH BOY has her role been expanded in BB!!

Long before the Great Journey was even a consideration, back during TPB…

Sedgecreek was mates with Greenflower. They welcomed their kits, Swallowkit and Beechkit, to the world just before RiverClan and ShadowClan moved to form TigerClan.

Greenflower's sibling, Duckfur, was the honor sire for the couple. Under the Queen's Rights, you don't have to explain where your kittens came from. Sedgecreek gave birth and that's that.

But supporters of Thistle Law do not respect the Queen's Rights.

When Greenflower announced openly that their kittens had been sired by Duckfur, Sedgecreek was uncomfortable, but believed she was keeping their family safe.

But... it turned out to be worse than that.

Greenflower was a true believer. She had been holding a lot of her 'worst' ideas back, but felt emboldened to speak openly with the alliance between Tigerstar and Leopardstar.

Sedgecreek knew Greenflower went to the execution of Stonefur... but she couldn't. She couldn't bring herself to.

She couldn't watch an old friend die like that, or stomach the thought of Greenflower reacting to it.

They stayed together for the children, as Sedgecreek staved off the dawning realization that her mate wasn't the cat she thought she was.

It was easy to put it off a little longer, when their next common enemy was BloodClan and RiverClan "returned to normal."

Though they nearly had a blow-out argument over RiverClan refusing to join in with the trading that WindClan and ThunderClan were doing with BloodClan... Sedgecreek apologized, and held her tongue. Suddenly, their roles had been reversed, with Sedgecreek staying quiet to "keep the peace".

Normally very cheerful and outspoken, with friends in other Clans and open-mindedness to cooperation, Sedgecreek spent almost two years of her life just trying to save her mateship. She thought that maybe Greenflower would return to the bold, loyal cat she used to adore, if she just loved her enough and made her feel heard...

But then, during the Great Journey...

Their baby Swallowtail fell in love with a ThunderClan warrior, Rainwhisker.

Greenflower "warned her" about loving cats from other Clans, "Don't make me do something I don't want to, Swallowtail."

Sedgecreek knew how powerful love can be. Rainwhisker was big, handsome, and sweet. She saw a lot of herself in him, and would have approved of him as her son-in-law in a heartbeat

Even though Swallowtail was trying to hide it after that confrontation, Sedgecreek KNEW that Rainwhisker was perfect for her. She knows her daughter better than anyone-- Swallow would never be able to fight it.

But all journey long, Greenflower was growing more and more critical of Swallowtail. Comparing her to her brother Beechfur, constantly questioning her whereabouts, making up stupid tasks to keep her busy.

Sedge and Green were fighting over it, again, but this time Sedge was starting to care less about making up afterwards.

Then, the worst possible thing happened... during the WindClan Civil War, Rainwhisker was killed in battle.

Swallowtail was inconsolable. That brought them all together, for just a little while longer.

But then, Swallowtail discovered she was pregnant. She didn't say anything about the father, and yet Greenflower LOST it. She flew into a frenzy, shouting their daughter down and threatening to disown her. The line that finally broke their mateship was simply,

"Just when it seemed like the problem was solved--"

Sedgecreek didn't even let her finish. How DARE she?? To treat their baby's painful loss, their coming grandchildren, and Swallowtail's right as a Queen, like the continuation of a problem???

So she told her to get out. Quietly at first. Greenflower refused, so she said it louder. Then she shouted it. And then she SCREAMED it, and when THAT didn't work, she THREW her out of the Cleric's den. For SEASONS she had sacrificed for the sake of her children, only for it to end in a choice between her wife and daughter.

But even then, Sedgecreek felt hot with shame that she'd caused such a scene! The whole camp saw her toss Greenflower like a rotten fish!! Sweet, cheerful Sedgecreek!!! It was mortifying, she'd never lost her temper like that, the entire Clan was surprised!

Mistyfoot saw this just like everyone else in RiverClan... and it stood out in her mind, as she shuffled home considering who her deputy would be.

It had to be someone as uncontroversial as possible... Mistyfoot's reputation had been dragged through the mud by Hawkfrost's constant challenges. A sizable portion of RiverClan did not respect her anymore.

So Swansong, her brother and greatest ally, was out of the question. He didn't have a diplomatic bone in his body.

Mosspelt was her sister-in-law, and she needed a deputy who could ward off accusations of nepotism.

Reedwhisker had Skyheart as his mentor, who kept him in an apprenticeship nightmare for over a year. He was too young on top of being ineligible.

But, she needed someone who would understand the threat they faced, and take it seriously. It, hopefully obviously, couldn't be one of her enemies.

And THAT was when she remembered Sedgecreek standing up to Greenflower. How she's everyone's friend, patient and enthusiastic, and yet how she still snapped at her long-time mate.

While no one knows EXACTLY why she snapped except the little family itself, Mistyfoot had a good hunch it was related to Swallowtail claiming Queen's Rights for her litter.

And that is exactly the sort of principled cat she needs by her side.

So... Sedgecreek was perfect. She was diplomatic, friendly, and yet, able to stand up for herself, ready to fight for the Clan they deserved. Her upbeat personality would be a perfect compliment to Mistystar's dour, serious one. This was the best possible choice.

During BB!OotS, Sedgecreek was targeted for replacement by the Dark Forest demons. While they managed to kill several of their targets and even cause ShadowClan to fall, Sedgecreek managed to escape an attempt on her life. But, before anyone could breathe a sigh of relief, she took it as a sign to step down so that someone younger could take over. By this point, she had become a great-grandmother and was beginning to feel her age.

Reedwhisker takes her place as deputy, and she's able to live out the last of her days in the Elder's Den. She peacefully passes away at some point in AVoS, surrounded by the family she chose to stand beside.

Month 7 - Leaffall

“They’ll love you,” Smokyrose soothed as she wound her tail with Ghost’s, leading him across the grasslands towards the RisingClan camp.

“I know, I know,” Ghost sighed, leaning his head on top of hers. “I’m just… nervous.”

“What for?” asked Smokyrose genuinely.

“About the kits, I guess?” he shrugged.

“Oh?” she licked his cheek curiously. She had told him just an hour or so ago and he had taken it well, if a bit surprised. She had rubbed herself all over him, vibrating joyfully, and he had laughed and held her close. She couldn’t have been happier. She had eventually convinced him to come meet her Clanmates, even though he seemed reluctant. She couldn’t help but wonder what his reasons were.

“I’m sure things will be fine,” she added, “Sagetooth is a skilled Healer, I’ll be in great paws, if that’s what you’re worried about.” She wondered if the city cats had their own healers or if they just had to hope they never got ill.

“It’s not that,” he shook his head. “I’m… I’ve never been a father before.” Quickly, he amended, “I mean, I’m sure I’ve had kits, but it’s never been… a responsibility for me before. I’m not sure I’m cut out for it.”

“I have faith,” she purred. “You’ll make a great dad.”

“If you say so, Miss Smoke.” He chuckled a little and placed a few licks on her forehead, causing her purr to deepen in her chest.

Soon, the camp was upon them. Smokyrose squeezed herself against his muscled shoulder in encouragement and they descended into the dip where she had always made her home. Ghost’s mouth was open wide to scent the well worn scents of the cats who lived there. Smokyrose looked around and saw that Pantherhaze and Songdust were sunning on the roof of the warriors’ den.

Raising her tail she gave a tiny meow to get their attention. “Songdust! Pantherhaze! Look who I brought ‘round.” Songdust sat up, squinting in the sun, but immediately brightened at the sight of them.

“Hey!” she purred, rolling to her paws. “If it isn’t your fancy new beau! Nice to meet you.” She dropped onto the grass to meet them, tail swishing gently. Ghost dipped his head in her direction.

“You must be the famous Songdust,” he purred and Smokyrose nearly swooned at how suave he was. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Smokyrose lifted her head proudly, almost hoping that Songdust would be jealous now that she’d met him.

“Wow, you were right,” laughed Songdust, brows lifting. “He is quite the gentleman.”

“Isn’t he just?” Smokyrose hummed fondly.

“It’s nice to meet you,” Pantherhaze said, padding up with wide amber eyes.

“Pantherhaze,” Smokyrose said, “this is Ghost. Ghost, Pantherhaze.”

Ghost dipped his head again. “The pleasure is mine.”

“So, Ghost,” Songdust asked, shifting into a more comfortable stance, “are you coming to stay then?”

Ghost chuckled reticently, “We’ll have to see, won’t we.”

“Well, hey!” Goldenstar’s voice called from the other side of camp. “Who’s the handsome stranger?”

Smokyrose looked over to the Stoneperch where the leader was emerging from her den and grinned. “Goldenstar! Come meet the father of my kits.” Turning to Ghost, she said, “This is Goldenstar, she’s the leader of the Clan.”

As Goldenstar approached, he bowed his head deeply. “A pleasure to meet you, your excellence.”

Goldenstar laughed, eyes sparkling. “Wow, are all city cats as polite as you two?” she looked over her shoulder and frowned.

“Pardon?” Ghost glanced at Smokyrose, confused. She tilted her head in kind, not having seen anyone behind the tortie even if she could infer who Goldenstar was looking for.

“Sorry,” Goldenstar said, face falling a bit. “I thought that…” She shook her head a bit and pulled her attention back to the cats in front of her and put a smile back on. “Not important. There’s no need for such formalities. We’re all friends here.”

“I see,” hummed Ghost. “Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you regardless. My name is Ghost.”

“Ghost,” she nodded. “Well, welcome to RisingClan, Ghost. You’re welcome to stay as long as you like, get to know the place.”

“I’m trying to convince him to stay but he’s being stubborn about it,” Smokyrose purred, pressing against his side again. She smirked up at him and he smiled as his gaze dipped toward the ground.

“Regrettably, I have obligations in the city, but I’m happy to stay for a bit.”

“That’s too bad,” said Goldenstar.

“Come along,” Smokyrose said, pushing his shoulder, “I want to introduce you to Oddstripe.”

“Ah,” he chuckled, “excuse me, then.”

Smokyrose purred and pushed him towards the Healer’s den. As they went, she whispered, “You’ll have to excuse Sagetooth, though. She’s a bit of a curmudgeon.”

“Good to know,” he whispered back and Smokyrose’s stomach fluttered. She felt like an apprentice again, full of energy and mischief and excitement. She even dared to hope that somehow she would be able to change Ghost’s mind and he would stay for good. We’ll have to see, won’t we? she thought to herself.

Leaders Lives: Pinestar

Quite an odd case again, as his last life clung onto was the reason Sunstar got 0 lives, just like Nightstar of Shadowclan.

Anyways, you know that drill, order of lives gained, order lost and how they lost them! This one will be shorter than Blackstar's since Pinestar did get his all at once!

Pinestar's first life comes from Doestar, for Survival. She was a tough cat, but the Great Hunger and many battle wounds killed her early in WCR, especially since the Great Hunger is now 2 seasons.

His second life came from... Patchstar, Mapleshade's son. The kit that didn't make it was supposes to have become a kind, benevolent leader. Patchkit gives Pinestar a life for Judgement, and a vision of what happened to him and his siblings. When Pinestar asks what Clan Patchkit would have been leader of, Patchstar only responds: "Wouldn't you like to know?"

The third is Flashnose, with a life for Courage. The life frightens him with its intensity. She was always an intense cat in life, her death itself rocked him.

The fourth is Harepounce, with Loyalty as her life. Loyalty to your family and Clan, she says for your family is your Clan and your Clan IS your family.

His fifth life comes from Stagflight (a renamed Stagleap), who gives him a life for the Knowledge of War and Peace, and the understanding that both are a part of Clan culture, do not disregard them. Some things are WORTH fighting for.

Life number six is from Pearnose! Pearnose has a different story in WCR, she is still Thunderclan's medicine cat under Morningstar, but she organized a rebellion that got him (accidentally) killed, obviously not meaning for it to happen. She would get a sign later that would chose the next leader, and though that leader was her, she did not take the name Pearstar when she died. Anyways, she gives Pinestar a life for Trust, specifically Trusting Wisdom for Protection.

Life seven is for the Strength of a Nursing Queen, from the famous Patron of Youth, Daisytail. (She isn't related to Pinestar technically, but she is related to Oakstar's first mate, Shinecloud, and their kits, Frecklewish and Birchface. Irony, huh?)

Pinestar's eighth life comes from his older half-sister. The one and only Frecklewish. The life she gives him is for Making Difficult Choices. Pinestar cannot help but notice that her fur does not shine with starlight, though it does not the wounds that a Dark Forest warrior would normally have...

Pinestar's final life is from the legendary Morningstar. The life is for Compassion, something that was not valued when he had been leader. He takes it in fully, and promises to Morningstar that he will do his best.

As for order lost and how:

Harepounce - Loyalty - He lost this during the Great Hunger soon after he became leader. He lost it due to freezing, but feeling Harepounce starve to death through her own eyes rattled him completely. It was the catalyst.

Pearnose - Trusting Wisdom for Protection - He was hit by a monster while running from a Boar with Larksong and her apprentice, Flypaw. Seeing Pearnose's death through her eyes was strange, as she died from old age, but was oddly peaceful after the fear and adrenaline he had felt right before.

Flashnose - Courage - A bite wound from a fox got infected and took him down. Another horrible death, made worse now that Doestar is Flashnose's mother. Seeing her mother pass away made her weak, allowing sickness and hunger to take hold. The constant reminders of the Great Hunger drive Pinestar's anxiety through the roof.

Frecklewish - Making Difficult Choices - Greencough, the same that would kill many others causing a gap in youth that Bluekit and Snowkit would eventually need to fill in.

Morningstar - Compassion - A head wound inflicted by Hailstar during a battle for Sunningrocks. He got to see what had killed Morningstar, and vowed from that point on that he would walk Morningstar's peaceful path. When he awoke, he found that he was not the only casualty. The battle killed Eaglestorm as well.

Daisytail - Strength of a Nursing Queen - Greencough, but Pinestar refused to be treated until everyone else was first. Daisytail and Pinestar spoke briefly under a beautiful tree, and she told him that due to his actions, more of his clanmates would live. She is the Patron of Youth, specifically for protecting them.

Stagflight - Knowledge of War and Peace - Food poisoning during Bluestar's Prophecy. It is actually a few more cats who get hit with bad prey now, necessitating Brambleberry's visit.

Doestar - Survival - When Pinestar is struck by a car during Pinestar's Sorrow, he sees the old leader and picks her. They talk, with her pushing him to keep going, to stay with Thunderclan, to protect them from the dangers coming... And he snaps. It makes him completely lose faith in himself, leaving Thunderclan once and for all.

Patchstar - Judgement - When Pine is old, and weary, he get sick. He is taken to a vet, but he gets sicker. He gets lethargic, weak, and stops wanting to eat. His housefolk take him to a vet one final time as his kidneys finally give out, and, surrounded by love, seeing the spirit of Shanty, who passed away a year ago, he drifts off in their arms.

When Pinestar reaches Starclan, he is put on trial. Due to his actions, Sunstar was not able to earn any lives, and Thunderclan is at risk. However, his jury is an understanding one. They know how afraid he was, how much pressure he was under. Pinestar is given a prison sentence of 5 moons, getting out just in time to give Bluestar a life...

Here’s a tutorial on how you can switch between the packs without having to uninstall them on Windows. With this method, you can choose with what packs you play. It’s been my go-to method since years, and it always works! Makes building so much easier for me if I want to use only specific packs, or even only the basegame.

I also prepared a list where you can see which pack is a certain pack, cause in the Origin folder they’re only numbered. You can see this list under the cut, or read the description of the video. When new packs will be released, I will also update my list with the new and correct numbers.

Jas the Wildcard

"Leave them alone," a tall girl stalked over to the group surrounding you with slitted eyes, fangs bared, "before I make you."

Species: Cat Girl

Personality: Kind, Feisty

Occupation: Student, ???

Role: Love interest

Relationship: Determinant

Interests: Dancing, Reading, Fellow Orphans

You'll meet Jas at one point while leaving the orphanage and getting harassed by a group.

"They're perfect. If they go missing, who would look for them?"

That's when Jas intervenes, ears flat against her head, and words coming out with slight hisses. When the group doesn't back down, she gestures you behind her back to run.

Choices:

Run

Hide behind Jas - Stress - Reliance

Fight

If you run, after a while, Jas will catch up to you looking bruised, with blood at the corner of her lips, and her clothes slightly ripped. She's grinning though and reassures you she's fine as she introduces herself.

"I'm Jas, we orphans gotta look out for each other, you know? Give me a holler if you ever need help."

If you fight and manage to take out one of the attackers, the encounter will end with + Love ++ Reliance. If you end up too hurt to continue, the encounter will end with Jas chasing them off + Love -- Reliance.

Defeated Attacker:

"You can hold your own! Maybe I didn't need to step in after all~" The girl's eyes sparkles playfully. Despite her joking tone, she seems glad for your help. "Just kidding, I'm Jas and I'm always here to help if you need me."

Too Hurt to Continue:

"Hey, are you okay? I'm gonna take you back home," the girl gently helps you off the floor and back to the orphanage. She's quick with her hands, grabbing a first aid kit as they walk and fixing up each wound with experienced movements. --- Pain

"It's sweet of you to try and help, but you shouldn't bite off more than you can chew. You can rely on others... Like me! Jas, at your service~"

After the meeting, Jas' room will be unlocked, and you will be able to find Jas in the orphanage in the early mornings between 5am and 6am, as well as nighttime from 8pm and 9pm. You can also see her in the library during breaks in school, but unless her love is at 60%, she'll apologize and say she's busy.

While there isn't much time to interact with Jas in the orphanage or school. She can be found almost everywhere by random chance due to her working multiple different jobs. With higher lust, the encounters increase. Once love is at 70%, you can ask her to stay in the orphanage more to increase interactions.

Jas as a Reliance trait, which represents how much she feels she can rely on you. The higher the Reliance percentage, the more honest and open Jas will be, willing to admit her struggles in town and seek comfort. The lower the Reliance, the more protective Jas is of you, and you'll get certain scenes where Jas stares blankly at nothing. You notice her shaking a bit, but once she sees you looking at her, she smiles. You wonder if it's a real smile.

Most notable interactions with Jas involve the Cafe and Dance Studio.

If you meet Jas at the Cafe, you'll find out she works part-time as a chef there. She's known for her cream buns. She spots you and happily offers you a treat on the house. However, when you ask about her famous cream buns, she freezes. She tries to recommend everything else besides her cream buns.

Choose something else

Jas sighs in relief and eagerly brings you your food. She sits and talks to you during her break.

Choose cream bun

Jas goes slightly pink, but nods. You get the cream bun sent to you.

It's delicious, you lick your plate clean.

Jas peeks out of the kitchen every now and then, she seems fixated on how you eat the bun. ++ Lust

If you meet Jas in the Dance Studio, you'll find Jas dancing by herself. You'll take a moment to watch her in awe, she moves in ways you never knew someone can move. She looked more like water flowing as she danced.

She also looks happier than you've ever seen her. Her skin shines with sweat and you wonder how long she's been here.

Applaud her + Love

She notices you and grins before she does a spin with her foot by her head. She's showing off now, but she seems to enjoy you admiring her flexibility. + Lust + Arousal

Dance with her

With a low dance skill, she'll laugh at your clumsy moves before pulling you along for simpler steps. You feel your dance skill improving. + Love

With a high dance skill, you'll grab Jas and put her into a spin before pressing her close while dipping her. Her eyes widen, and her cheeks darken. She clings back to you, and you can feel her heart pound against you. +++ Love +++ Lust

Jas will confess when her love reaches 75%. If you reject her, she'll give a weak laugh, but accept it. You two will remain friends.

Hunter the Allrounder

His feral grin shows off his large canines and you instinctively back away. His face softens at your reaction and he manages a gentle smile.

Species: Demon Wolf Boy

Personality: Wild, Considerate

Occupation: Student, Farmer

Role: Love interest

Relationship: Determinant

Interests: Thrills, Dogs, Self-improvement

You can meet him in multiple places, from the Farm, at School, or in the Forest.

The Farm: "A new farmer? Nice! My name is Hunter and let me show you the animals. They don't bite... Can't say the same about me though, heh."

School:

Someone runs into you and you sprawl onto the ground feeling like a wall slammed into you.

"Ah, shi- Sorry 'bout that. Are you- Hey, I've seen you at the orphanage. My name is Hunter and- Fuck, I'm gonna be late for class. Bye!"

Forest is a bit special and is the rarest encounter, it can happen while you are moving through the forest.

You are hunted.

You hear twigs snap near you.

You hear growls... They sound almost playful?

You hear a chuckle nearby.

Strong arms grab you and lift you off the floor, you hear laughter as you struggle.

"Hey, easy, easy. What is a little prey like you wandering around the forest like this? Aren't you afraid of the big bad wolves?" The words are breathed into your ear before you are finally released, you whirled over to see a wolf boy grinning at you. He looks familiar, in fact, you are sure he is a fellow orphan called Hunter.

"But seriously, there are some nasty types in the forest. Let me lead you out."

Agree

Say you want to stay longer

If you say you want to stay longer, Hunter will be surprised.

"Got something to do in the forest?" Hunter tilted his head, a smirk slowly forming on his face, "Well, you're interesting. Stay safe then." + Excitement

You will have random encounters with Hunter in the school with him trying to learn various different skills. From finding him picking lockers to improve his lock-picking, him in the library studying random subjects, and him sneaking out of the swimming pool. He'll ask you to join him with each different activity and certain activities increase his excitement around you. His excitement comes down to the amount of fun he has around you, the higher his excitement, the more you'll see him around and he'd be more willing to follow your suggestions.

He is also always by the lake after school and on the farm during the weekends. If you go swimming with him by the lake, you are likely to increase his love and lust. Meanwhile, helping on the farm gives you many opportunities to raise his love, lust, and excitement. Anything from him challenging you to horseback riding, playing with the dogs with you, or racing you through the moor. Rejecting these activities will reduce excitement.

At high lust, you can easily have sexual encounters with him. It won't make you two a couple, but he is always happy to relieve sexual tension.

With the minimum of Love at 60%, Excitement at 80% and Lust at 20%, Hunter will ask you to meet him at the lake.

His tail was wagging at the sight of you, he perks up as you approach him.

"There's something I want to tell you, I've been... Thinking about you a lot. Hell, it's driving me crazy. You might have an idea of what I want to say, so come to the lake at 8pm if you want to hear it. Don't come if you don't... I don't think I can control myself if I see you there." You can simply never go to the lake and you two will remain friends, if you do go to the lake, Hunter will be so excited by your appearance that he'll tackle you to the grown. Under the moon and in your presence, he goes a bit feral as he tries to remove your clothes and give in to his primal urges. This will either lead to a consensual encounter with a wild Hunter or you'll have to fight him off.

Celeste the Righteous

The girl mumbles under her breath as she flips a page in her notebook. The only thing more impressive than her concentration is the shadows under her eyes.

Species: Angel Harpy

Personality: Hardworking, Moral

Occupation: Student

Role: People of Interest

Relationship: Determinant

Interests: Gardening, Studying, Singing

You can meet Celeste at school or at church. At either place, you will find her hard at work in either studying or maintaining the church grounds. She'll take a moment to even notice you, blinking the dazed expression from her eyes. "Ah... Can I help you? ... ... ... Oh, I'm Celeste. Please don't interrupt me if it's not important."

Befriending Celeste is a hard task, she seems very cold and distant whenever you try to make conversation with her. Mostly just listening whenever you try to talk to her. However, while spending time with her in the library, anyone that attempts to harass you will have their hands crushed by the edges of whatever book Celeste has in hand.

"Ow, what the hell? I'll tell on you, you little freak."

"Misuse your hand, and suffer. Misuse your tongue, and lose it." Celeste spoke coldly, staring down the offender till they leave. She says nothing to you as it returns to comfortable silence.

You'll learn that Celeste isn't cold, but horrendous at socializing, preferring direct and blunt forms of communication. Or no communication, words are pointless when there are tasks to do! As your friend, Celeste tutors you in subjects of your choice which is a big boost in your studies. You can also ask her to sing for you which can reduce your stress. She'll also randomly give you small gifts of various trinkets, her feathers made into an accessory, or flowers. You will get an option once Celeste is at 80% love to tell her specific people who have harassed you or caused you trouble. If the action against you is bad enough, after a day or two, you will hear that person is being dragged to the pillory, or they lost something important, or other unfortunate things. It feels like a guardian angel is looking out for you --- Stress

Maeve the Trap

The tiny figure looked up at you, looking wrecked yet flustered. "Do you... Do you want me?"

Species: Demon Cow Boy

Personality: Submissive, Insecure

Occupation: Student, Prostitute

Role: Love interest

Relationship: Determinant

Interests: Sex, Stealing

You can meet Maeve at school or at the Brothel.

At school:

You'll hear quiet sobbing as you pass by a classroom during break time. You decide to peek inside and check what's going on.

In the room, what seems to be a small girl covers her topless chest while huddled in a corner, she seems to be in the midst of a breakdown.

Get her a new top

You go fetch a new school uniform for the girl, when you enter the classroom, you hear her gasp and she looks between panicked and oddly relieved that someone found her.

"Here, put it on." You offer the clothing, watching as the girl looks at the shirt and then at you with wide teary eyes. You had to move the clothing towards her again before she obediently put it on. "I- Thank you... I, my name is Maeve," she fiddled with her new sleeves with a flush, "you don't need to introduce yourself... I know you." ++ Love + Security

Check on her

You enter the room and the girl gapes at you with wide eyes. She doesn't do anything while you approach her.

"Are you alright?" You ask her, she stares at you for a second before nodding. She seems to be telling the truth, you can't find any injuries on her as you scan her body.

She shifts her body under your gaze, arms dropping away and sticking out her chest more with a blush. It seems she misunderstood you. + Lust + Arousal

"Thank you... For checking on me..." the girl mumbled, her gaze seems heated, "you... I'm Maeve and you can check on me whenever." + Love

She gets up, and seemingly unconcerned of her partial nudity, she leaves the room.

Ignore

You'll notice her later in your swimming class and learn her name is Maeve.

At the Brothel:

Once you start working at the Brothel, you'll realize soon that you aren't the only one from school that got a fake ID to work there. A familiar girl is on the dance floor seducing men and women alike. When she gets off stage, she seems to recognize you. "O-Oh, hi. Um, good to have you... here. Um, sorry, my name is Maeve. I'll try to help you out around here... Maybe? If you need it."

Maeve has the stat Security, the more you raise it, the more confident and happy she'll be. Once her Security is at 70% and you hadn't accidentally found out beforehand, Maeve will show you her secret. That she is actually a he, but please keep calling him a little girl, he likes it.

You can spend time with Maeve in the orphanage or in the brothel, at the brothel, you could meet him as a co-worker or as a client. Maeve would appreciate the attention either way. The more you spend time with Maeve, the more apparent it is that Maeve desires someone to love him and want him. His ideas of healthy attention are warped, he gets extremely affected if you reject his sexual advances, thinking you don't like him anymore if you don't desire him physically, making his Security plummet.

He'll confess his love for you once you get his love to a 60%.

Maeve stares at you with shaking hands, you aren't sure what's wrong and before you can ask, a pair of arms are thrown around you. "I want you, I want you, I want you, I want you, I want you," Maeve whispered desperately, "I love you, I'll do anything for you. Just keep me, please."

Maeve's dismissal is triggered by having his Security below a 10% and rejecting his sexual advances three times in a row. You'll wake up in bed with Maeve on top of you, he's gripping you so tightly it hurts.

"I just need to know you want me, I just need to know you love me. Please!" Maeve paws at you. If you accept his advance, Maeve relaxes and goes back to normal. If you push him off you and tell him you don't love him.

"..." Maeve's eyes gloss over as he silently leaves your room. Within the week, you'll hear rumors in the orphanage that Maeve didn't pay his rent and he didn't fight back when Bailey dragged him off. Bailey said something about someone who has been hoping to get their prize cow back and sold him off.

Maeve is broken.

Also since a mutual asked and i think a lot of new people are getting into the sims here are some packs/mods/cc stuff i think is necessary based on my gameplay. i will try to include links to anything that needs them (i dont have torrent leaks so someone else can provide!). And also these are just my opinion haha feel free to add on! This will be long so its below cut

1: packs: this wont include all packs, anything not listed i gen havent really thought about enough to put in my list.

Necessary packs: seasons, get to work, get together, city living, cats and dogs, dine out, tiny living, parenthood (based on watching other simmers i dont own this)

Packs i think are fun but not necessary: eco lifestyle, werewolves, spa day, vampires, paranormal, nifty knitting, laundry day,

Packs i want to get but dont know much about: cottage living, snowy escape, dream home decorator, the wedding one, highschool one, toddler stuff, kids room, parenthood

Packs i have but i find to be meh: realm of magic, get famous (only slightly),

Packs i will never get willingly (meaning i would never pay for this full price): journey to batuu, strangerville, my first pet, vintage glamour, romantic garden, spooky stuff, luxury party

Kits: scam, but they do seem cool overall. desert luxe is a great build kit just for the curtains alone (i got this for free during a special time offer).

2: mods that i think are necessary

I dont play with a lot of mods so the only thing i'd highly recommend is MCCC (or mc command center): LINK

this mod allows you to control so many aspects/cheats in your game so much easier from allowing polyamory to inducing labor in your sim to aging people up, to editing sims in cas, this mod really can do anything and everything its a staple in the community!

one mod i wouldnt recommend (unless there was a recent update to it...) is the remove EA eyelashes mods as at least for me it gave me a lot of glitches with occult sims having no face at all! so i stopped using it

Other important mods that i dont use yet but a lot of people use and i will be using soon: stop werewolves from howling in cas (believe me its so fucking annoying), stop vampires growling in cas, stop spellcasters in cas (cant find the link to this) (you can also apparently use cheats on the clockspeed to get them to sto moving i think...)

Modthesims is a good resource for any mods you want to find! I also search reddit occasionally for recommendations. Plus id recommend to go on youtube and watch simmers who use a lot of mods for popular ones!

3: custom content how to

Custom content are things you add to the game such as clothing, furniture, makeup, etc!

There are a few websites you can get custom content (cc): the sims resource, tumblr (just type in sims 4 cc!),, and soon the sims 4 will be partnering with cursedforge for things so look out for that!

cc creators i love/have loved: pralinesims (i think they stopped making cc?), kijiko, grimcookies, bergdorfverse, twistedcat (for eyebrows), sheabuttyr (previously savvy!), candysims4, johnnysims, ridgecookies, spectacledchic (though i dont think they make cc anymore but i used to love their clothes esp in sims3. it just may not be updated anymore!), shakeproductions,

some important cc to get imo: kijiko's 3D eyelashes (recommend the accessories one and the perma ones so you can wear glasses), a default skin overlay (i use ediurnes'), a default eyecolor set,

Maxis or realistic cc? -> some people love sims to be hyper realistic so there is a lot of cc in that category. Maxis match means custom content that matches the sort of cartoony style of the sims 4. I prefer maxis match hair and stuff but i do use realistic cc for clothes/skin/eye color/eyelashes. You can do whatever you want.

Make sure you always download the MESH: some cc is a recolor of another cc! So if you download the recolor without the original mesh it wont work. esp on tumblr at least or on download sites they should specify if its a recolor or not and link the mesh!

Phantasmagoria DR: my main fame dr where i’m the lead singer in a band called Phantasmagoria w my friends. We’re like, really famous. Like more famous than Taylor Swift famous. And I go on to become a really famous writer/director as well. This is the dr i think about all the time, i fucking rule guys. NO BAD SONGS. NO CONTROVERSIES. ONLY GOOD VIBES AND GREAT MUSIC. ofc i’m an EGOT and pretty much revitalize the film industry single handedly. 😋😘

Heartstopper Cast DR: i’m a part of the cast of Heartstopper (an OC named Vivienne Green - Harry’s sister - who’s besties with the group, helps Elle when she transfers school, and is Pansexual and eventually gets in a polycule). I’m honestly so cool in this one. I have my SHIT together at 19, like, it’s crazy. I’m dating Kit Connor cuz why not, and I eventually become one of the best actors of my generation no biggie 🤷🏻‍♀️

Harry DR 1: yes, I have more than one dr where i’m dating harry styles, who can blame me. I’m a songwriter that met Harry in his 1D days and became one of the band’s main songwriters. We became best friends after that and stayed close. We both become extremely famous in our respective areas in the music industry and are the power couple

Harry DR 2: this one came to me in a literal dream. I’m Harry’s secret fiance that literally no one knows about. My job is solving and rating puzzles (don’t ask me why idk either). I get pretty famous on tik tok for being one of those satisfying accs that people followed during the pandemic yk? Harry DR 3 (LAST ONE): OK SO DONT JUDGE ME W THIS ONE. LET ME LIVE. so, basically, I’m Harry’s secret wife and - stay with me here - we have 6 children together. I really only wanted to go here bc I noticed how many tattoos he had of peoples names and i thought, hey, what if those were his kids’ names that he has tattooed on him and no one knows? like, why not? so this is a purely self-indulgent dr where I’m just living the domestic life with Harry Styles and our brood of children. this may or may not have been influenced by a fanfiction series i read

Hozier DR: in this one, I’m Mr. Andrew Hozier-Byrne’s girlfriend who lives with him in the Irish countryside. I’m a seamstress who has my own clothing brand. Think dresses to run through a field of flowers in, or to slowly decompose in a lake littered with petals yk? I end up making the dresses for the Folklore stretch of the Era’s tour. not to brag or anything hehe

MGG DR: I’m dating the one, the only, Matthew Gray Gubler. I just thought it would be really funny and interesting to go to a reality where him and I are pretty much polar opposites. I’m an ex-ballerina who still practices, so I have that grace and elegance around me. I love to dress in dark neutrals all year round. For my job, I’m a famous published horror author. I have an rbf and a WRY sense of humor. Literally black cat aesthetic to the max. And then there’s Matthew who’s a ball of sunshine compressed into colorful grandpa clothes. honestly i love this one

Tom Holland DR: okay so this one is from my Spider-Man phase. But i actually love it so much. I play Felicia Hardy in the Spider-Man films, who is as much of a love interest as MJ in this reality. Tom and I actually grew up together since I would always vacation at my aunt’s house in the UK who was also neighbors to the Hollands. We’ve always ‘hated’ each other growing up (when really we were closer to each other than anyone else) and so when we started working together on the Spider-Man movies, all those underlying feelings started coming to the surface

The Joes DR: Okay, so. In this one, I play Chrissy Cunningham in Stranger Things. Her character is actually a lot different than in this reality where she’s actually secretly dating Eddie Munson behind Jason’s back. She doesn’t die, her friend Angie does, so Eddie and Chrissy join the party to save the world n stuff. Basically, Joe Quinn (his name is Thomas in this reality) and I got really close on set and are rly flirty hehe. And, to make it even better, we ALSO have a thing with Joe Keery as well (hence the name change to make my life easier). So we’re all a budding throuple and we kinda try to sneak that dynamic into the show hehe. note: certain actors aren’t poopy people in this reality and don’t support genocide 🙄)

Hogwarts DRs:

Draco DR: this was my first ever dr! draco tok got me into shifting. I’m a gryffindor who’s friends w the golden trio. I transferred into Hogwarts in 4th year and pretty much just am there for the ride as the canon happens. I’m in a secret relationship w Draco (shocking ik) and he’s actually not a bad person. i obvi scripted out the supremist in him guys, dw. i actually have so much detail about all the ways we meet up behind everyone’s back and stuff. you never forget your first guys 🩷

Tom Riddle DR: AGAIN. BEAR WITH ME. ITS NOT BAD. basically Hogwarts is more of an elite rich kid college for wizards than a high school type place. BLOOD SUPREMACY DOESNT EXIST. But there is a whole powerful family hierarchy. kind of like a mob family thing??Instead of Slytherins being the ones most likely to be death eaters, they’re the ones most likely to be from those more powerful families. The Riddles are one of the most powerful families (and rich bc sorry but i’m not dating a poor orphan guys). I’m a Gryffindor who transfers in and becomes besties with the Slytherin group (Theo, Enzo, Mattheo -i’m a mattheo truther, never matthew- Blaise, Pansy, and Draco). Anyways, I fall for Tommy bc of his whole dark and broody best friend’s older brother thing he has going on.

MCU DRs:

Peter Parker DR 1: i’m obsessed w the idea of being genius buddies w Peter Parker and eventually taking over SI, so this is that. We’ve been best friends and neighbors since we were little, and got bit by spiders at the same time. I’m Silk, and we fight crime tgt. We’re both geniuses and go to Midtown together. When we meet Tony Stark, him and Pepper pretty much take us under their wings and we become their heirs to SI. We revolutionize the tech industry before we even graduate high school, we’re that smart. example: we build a water filter that we use to completely clean the Hudson River. we create inter-dimensional communication to talk w the other spidey gang after we get sucked into a rift and meet miles. on like a random tuesday too. I absolutely love this one, i put SO MUCH DETAIL into this script it’s actually insane.

Peter Parker DR 2: My first Peter dr that i made, but kind of abandoned. Him and I have an enemies to loves relationship bc after talking w Ned, he thinks the way to attract me is to act as if he doesn’t care about me 🙄. these dumbasses. anyways, i’m Tony’s adoptive daughter who he rescued from these evil scientists who gave me powers n stuff. it was a pretty cool concept when i first thought of this reality. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stucky DR: Takes place in the 1940s at first, bc I’m best friends and eventually dating Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. The three of us are a force to be reckoned with guys. I’m super fucking smart, Steve is super fucking stubborn, and Bucky is super fucking protective. So, chaos basically. I’m really interested in science and am offered a spot to work on the super soldier serum by Howard Stark. Canon events become canon, I create SHIELD with my besties Howie and Peggy, Howie tells me he’d been working on cryogenics but needs a volunteer to test it, so I agree. I wake up in 2017, after the Civil War was actually dealt with civilly and am reunited with my loves in the present time. One of my favorites that I ever scripted out. 🩷

Misc. DRs:

Peaky Blinders DR: I was a nurse during the war that took care of Tommy and his brothers, and him and I became really close and fell in love. We reconnected a couple of years after the war ended, and I basically become his right hand when it comes to all the Peaky business. He trusts me more than anyone else because we’re both ass over tits in LOVE with each other. Like, yall don’t understand how in love we are. Also, you know that scene of Elle Woods pulling up to Harvard in a full pink outfit? Literally me every single day. Me in my lil pink blazer and skirt sets and the brightest fucking smile on my face making everyone confused why tf someone is as happy as i am in birmingham of all places. Everyone thinks i’m ditzy and just Tommy’s arm candy when rly im the smartest person in the room at all times. i just love to manipulate people into thinking im harmless and then learning all their secrets 🩷🩷🎀

Haikyu DR: i’m the manager of Karasuno that takes over for Kiyoko. I’m the granddaughter of Nekoma’s coach, so i know all about the game and play just as good as the players. Just because those 4 minutes of him had me licking the screen, i’m Kiyoomi Sakusa’s girlfriend. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH ITS CRAZY. we have a whole friend group with Ushijima, Tendo, Iizuna, Komori, and Atsumu. Imagine the chaos that group brings everywhere. It’s such a fun dr, i should really revisit it more often.

Lloyd Hansen DR: i watched the gray man and this man with his white pants and pornstache burrowed his way into my heart. pretty much im his ditzy lil girlfriend who he adores and just skips around the place in pink and he spoils endlessly. 🩷

Mafia DR: didn’t really flesh this one out, but the gist is that i meet this guy in college and he turns out to be a part of the mob. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and so yeah.

Whore DR: yes, I have a whore dr. hehe. don’t judge me but like, a reality where slut shaming doesn’t exist and you can live out your horniest fantasies w/o any judgement whatsoever. bc that’s completely normal. 😋😋

Sunny DR: this is a better cr one, where i’m pretty much just really fucking smart and in a FANTASTIC AND LOVING relationship with this guy named Peter. He sadly doesn’t exist in this reality 😞😞. But he’s literally the sweetest ever and he’s blond, so I call him Sunny. Like, my sunshine boy ☀️. Literally everything i want in like, a mundane life is in this reality. also, for no other reason than i think it’s so funny, peter happens to be the son of one of my teachers in school. Why? i have no fucking clue 😭😭. like, i go to his house to meet his dad and he’s my fucking history teacher. it’s mortifying but absolutely fucking hilarious.

Criminal Minds DR: i join the BAU after Emily’s whole arc where she dips, and everyone but Hotch and Spencer are a bit prickly with me. I’m best friends and eventually get into a friends with benefits relationship with him (which is so out of character it’s crazy, but let me live). We obvi get our shit together and just start dating and become a power couple hehe

Deity DR: literally thought of this 2 days ago 😭. most of the details are on my prev posts, so you can check those out

Narnia DR: last but not least, I’m a human who was transported to Narnia a few years after the Pevensies saved Narnia from the White Witch. However, I’m instead sent to a nearby country where they take me in and basically make me their crowned princess. After a couple of years, I meet and fall in love w Edmund Pevensie. All Hail Queen Rosemary the Radiant. 🩷

Same anon again. The lack of complexity is what I have a gripe about, personally. I love complexity, I live for details. And I draw things vastly different from you, and I could not recreate one of your designs completely accurate due to how I draw cat coats.

I am worried that if I get in through a litter and I recreate my kit in my own style, that it will have deviated too much from your design, and I will have to scrap it and redo it to be 100% accurate to yours. I dislike the lack of flexibility and leniency is a little wild, and the assumption that everyone will draw the same cat the same as you is unfair.

Hi! I think I understand now, and while I'm glad the info is out there I see where I was going wrong!

Before I go ANY FURTHER I'm just gonna put this here: three designs of world-famous Squirrelflight that are generally as close to canon as we currently have: a piece of in-book art (Russian Golden Edition), pixel art from the Wiki, and James' design from the comics.

Alright, we've got our examples. These three art styles represent a scale to me, with Golden Squirrel being closer to realism, Wiki Squirrel being 50/50, and Comic Squirrel being mostly cartoony. And it shows in their design: Comic Squirrel is a very undefined ginger cat, while Wiki Squirrel is a well defined tabby and Golden Squirrel has less definition due to the rendering of the fur.

But close your eyes, open, and look again - what do they have in common? The first two have similar tabby patterns, while all three feature green eyes, a red coat, and a white right forefoot. While Wiki Squirrel has a cut ear that the other two do not, this is because Wiki Squirrel is older than the other two.

These similarities are what is expected! To the artist of Comic Squirrel I'd gently remind them to include her striping next time, but otherwise it's a perfectly acceptable representation of a character. As long as her stripes are in the right place it matters little how they are rendered. Just like one might draw fanart in a new style, or make a reboot of a show with the same designs with a new animation team, the character should always be recognizable!

A Rose in Winter - WIP, M

An Edwardian Era, arranged marriage AU based on a classic, cheesy 80s bodice-ripper romance novel of the same name. After a string of bad luck, the Weasley family is pressuring Ginny to take a wealthy husband. She is swiftly arranged into a marriage contract with the tragic and mysterious Lord Potter, hidden behind a mask and heavy cloak to cover his scars from the attack that made him famous.

I'll even give a little sneak peak of the next installment:

Her nephews and niece gasped and giggled delightedly at the sight of the elves, which earned a broad smile from Whimsy and grumpy scowl from the older elf. Ginny rolled her lips inward and looked down at her plate to hide her smile. Something about the grumpy creature amused her, but she didn’t know her new husband well enough to know if he would think her rude. She glanced at him through her lashes, to find his eyes locked on her, the light shining in from the window behind her and illuminating his irises for the first time. They were a startling green, breathtaking in their beauty and intensity. Ginny felt her cheeks warming under his stare, discomforted by his eyes while the rest of his face remained hidden behind that infernal mask. The moment was broken when Bill leaned toward the stranger on Potter’s right and introduced himself.

“I don’t believe we’ve met. William Weasley, Ginevra’s eldest brother.”

“Sirius Black. Harry’s godfather.”

A hush settled over the table as her brothers stared curiously at Black. Lupin cleared his throat, a smirk swiftly hidden behind his fist. At least she knew why Black’s eyes looked so familiar. It was easy now to make the connection between the two men’s grey eyes and even their black hair, though Ginny supposed Leo must have gotten his bone structure from his mother, because other than his coloring, he looked nothing like Sirius.

Comfortable - 3.7k, T

A self-indulgent, childhood friends to lovers No-Voldemort AU

Neither one of them could definitively say when their friendship had evolved into something more. One day they were tumbling down the hill at the back of The Burrow’s paddock, racing to see who could make it to the bottom first, and then seemingly, the next day they were tumbling into his bed at Potter Cottage, racing to see who could get all their clothes off first.

Ok, so maybe it wasn’t so dramatic of a transition as that. Perhaps it would be easier to define if it had been. In reality, it had been a glacially slow change, one thankfully free from embarrassment and arguing, but antagonizing all the same in that neither knew where the line was drawn.

Cat and Mouse - 20k, M

An AU where Dumbledore doesn't die at the end of Harry's 6th year and Harry returns to Hogwarts for his 7th year, where he and Ginny get caught up in an angsty are they aren't they relationship. The first fanfic I ever shared and will always have a special place in my heart, even if the ending lost its steam.

Of course, it was hard to guard her heart when he kept pulling her into deserted classrooms and broom closets to snog her senseless. He’d wait until she was walking alone and sneak up on her with that damn cloak and yank her into a closet, where they’d spend the next hour driving each other insane. He’d hold her back after practice under the pretense of going over new chaser drills, only to pin her up against the captain’s office door and tear at her practice kit. He’d whisper sweet nothings in her ear until she was this close to giving in.

But then Ginny would remember those awful words, “I forgot,” and she’d push him away.

“Thanks for the good time, Captain,” she’d say, willing herself to not look over her shoulder as she casually walked away. The next day he would find some new girl to walk to class.

Weasley Pub Nights - 600, T

A fic that made me laugh while writing it, and makes me laugh every time I go back a re-read it.

Once a quarter all the Weasley siblings got together sans spouses and parents and got pissed off their arses. Ginny loves Weasley Pub Night, despite being the only female of the bunch. It’s the one night where her brothers forget to censor their raunchy conversations, the one night where they treat her like just another brother and not their baby sister.

But she is about to fuck it up.

Time - 4.3k, M (probably could be a T+, but I'm paranoid about ratings)

Another self-indulgent fic that I have plans to turn into a series of one-shots. Canon Compliant but Not Epilogue Complaint. An unplanned pregnancy during Ginny's 7th year leads Harry to realize he actually has a really good future to look forward to.

We have time , Harry echoed. Blimey, what a concept. The last eight years had felt like he was trapped in the bottom bowl of a giant hourglass while the sand poured in from above faster than he could keep his head above the level. Everything had rained down on him, pressing him closer and closer to that pinch point on the hourglass where the sand would run out and he would suffocate from it all.

And then he had finally defeated Voldemort and that hourglass had blown apart, scattering the sands of time across the universe and freeing him from the pressure to just survive . Now he could live.

"Ever since elementary grade, they're already noticing.

My gestures are unlady-like 'coz…-"

A little lynx stared at the mirror with discontent, reluctantly wearing the dress.

She was wearing a ballerina's dress with her ballet shoes. Many people in the room "aww" of how adorable she was, cause she was the main character of the dance. She was that good for a little girl, to be a dancer.

But all she wanted was to get this over with. Cause much to her parents dismay, she wanted to quit. So it'll be her final show as a ballerina.

"Mom hurry up, I should be up the stage by now." She whined.

"Aww come on dear, just one more. This will be your last performance after all." Her mom said, who's actually just a white cat with her lynx husband by her side smiling at their daughter.

"Are you sure you're quitting sweetie? This is the best place to be, for girls your age." His dad asked, so sad that his only daughter is not really into it and still just like among her 4 older brothers.

"No I hate it here!" It's because it's too girly and I hated everyone here! The little girl thought, not daring to tell that to her parents cause she doesn't want to be mistaken to be a mean big tomboy. Although, she think she is.

She beautifully dance on stage. Not everyone knowing that this amazing ballet dancer is reluctantly doing it and ready to quit.

Nooshy just doesn't love it, unlike fellow girls her age. It was a dream to be surrounded by lots of dress, accessories and dolls. In her neighborhood's playground. Instead of chinese garter, her toys were trading cards and marbles. She loves everything her brother has, such as hoodies, shoes and even upbeat music that boys would like.

Then always jam with the guys near their place. To street dance and even do some stunts in breakdancing. She loves the way dancing release her wild side, how cool it is that she was able to dance faster in every beat and to look cool doing the hard stunts. It is way better than being a ballerina.

When the little kitty is now a grown up lynx and entered high school. She was friends with bi's--curious girls, who also like girls. Instead of makeup kit, she brings a guitar. Cause back then there were no radios in their place but just instruments.Then she always wore long-sleeved T-shirt and faded pants.

The boyish dancer was expected by everyone to end up with a girl as well, until…-

She met the soon-to-be famous singer of the Redshore City, Johnny. Who later become her dance student and her #1 bestfriend.

People were shocked of how her flavor changed. She learned to fix and have her hair rebonded. She shaped her eyebrows at least once a month. She did all that, just to capture her bestfriend's attention. Even she herself don't know what it is that he have, that have her soften suddenly. Who would have thought that it will be a man, who'll capture a wild tiger like her.

Nooshy was in denial in her feelings at first. Then it keeps developing from bestfriend, a crush then to falling in love for real. To the point that she wants him to be for herself and she doesn't want to see him with other girls.

Even if she's boyish, her heart still beats for him.

But to her luck, he felt the same. Johnny invited her out to teach her how to skateboard. Then suddenly, the most gentle guy he knew just kissed her cheek out of nowhere. That one kiss from him, got her hooked and the woman in her is awakened.

She stared at him in disbelief.

"I like you Nooshy…" He responded.

The lynx felt a wave of emotions of confusion, shock… and mostly overwhelming in joy. But she burst into laughter, not believing what just happened. There's no way her crush just asked out someone like her.

"Are you kidding me? You do know what I am? Even if I am guy?" She pointed at herself. Her hair was boy cut, she wears her long jacket and her rip jeans, clearly showing that she did not considered herself to be a girl. Despite the make up she put on and her occasional dresses.

"Of course, Nooshy you have become more special to me. I like you just the way you are or what you will be. I know you're not into guys, but I can't stop thinking about you…" He hesitantly grabbed her hand. "May I go out with you?"

She felt her insides squeal in excitement, hiding it. There was silence between them, then she smiled widely, with a blush on her cheeks. "This is weird mate, but… I like you too. Sure, let's!"

Time went on, their relationship keeps on growing stronger. When they went to college that's just when she gave him her sweet "yes" of being his girlfriend. That he have worked for 10 months, of doubts and confusion. Instead of chocolates and typical moves. Johnny avoided those cliche moves, that he captured her something he thinks it's true and that she would like. With his poems and songs, which she called corny. Which he also joked, that it somehow win her over.

Nooshy can't stop thinking about how lucky she is to have him. That it was a miracle, that she learned to wear heels and frequently wearing red dress. But to her comfort, he never wish her to change just to win him over. He accepted her as she is.

Just like a blooming flower, he cared for it with water and the right light of his everyday love. That makes her life sweet

Author's Note/ Disclaimer: (Just like the songwriter said, this DOESN'T apply to all tomboys, lesbians and bisexuals. It's just her story. While I'm not saying Nooshy is a tomboy. I'm honestly not sure, she seems one yet she still has a girly side with her make up and wearing pink. I've also noticed there are just girls who just loves boy stuffs and even loves wearing one. Even my friends or the people I'm surrounded with are like this, so I also based it here.

So this is just freewriting, since no one writes Jooshy fics. I'll write till my love for it runs out like my other ships.)
