My first ever Severitus fanficbind is out! ⚡️

There is a LOT thing to say about this fiction. The fiction is start 2007 even before HBP and DH out and it completed in 2021. Also my first ever read Severitus fiction is this!

I think we all read fanfictions to replace the canon, and this NEEDED to be CANON.

The characterization is made perfectly. When i read it really feel i read Harry, Snape, Dumbledore and it makes in canon universe. So I think Kirby Lane really understands HP world so well.

And also it is thickest book i have ever bound so you might seem the mistakes that i made, but it is okay, because it is my first time! But i am happy how it turned out (except cover, God when i become good with covers?!) i made typesetting by myself and inspired from original HP books. Because i want this fic gives canon vibe. So i made cover with using ai and Mary Grandpre’s amazing works for it to gave canon vibes. 😌 so you see also the bookcloth is smaller than book 😵‍💫 i think about re-make the cover. But until then… it is finished! What you guys think? And also if you read Severitus what is your favorite fanfiction? Tell me about it *ready to taking notes*

I’ve been binge reading O Mine Enemy by KirbyLane. I’ve stayed up egregiously late for the last three nights saying, “Just one more chapter… and then another…”. Anyway, here’s a scene I sketched during which they are sitting at the table at number 12 Grimmauld Place, Harry making an attempt at the monstrous tome that is his occlumency instructional book while Snape scribbles away at whatever it is he’s scribbling away at with an open book.

Just finished reading this incredible Severitus story. What an amazing journey, it left me speechless.

And when a story left me speechless, I feel the urge to make a cover/front page for it. It’s kind of a homage you might say.

I found this beautiful fan-art on the web and immediately feel in love with it but unfortunately I don’t know the author. If you know, feel free to tell.

When Harry find an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.

Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort’s latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer, unless the two can find a way to work together.

A slow-burn-enemy-to-mentor story

Alternate 6th summer (and part of the school year): post Order of the Phoenix, ignores Half Blood Prince and Deahtly Hallows.

Hello! Thank you for putting so much effort in this blog! I´m looking for a fic where Tony is a villian but in an over the top way, he doesn´t actually hurt anyone. I think he says something about having a 5 year plan? Or a 10 year plan? He wants to be known as the greatest supervillain but he ends up helping an unconscious Peter (who doesn´t know he´s a villain) and through him he decides to just become a better person. There´s a scene where Peter laughs at the thought of Tony hurting him.

I always recommend O Mine Enemy by KirbyLane whenever I have the chance just because it’s the absolute best Severitus out there, so I’ll mention it just to be sure, but you’ve probably already read it. I haven’t seen The Chivalry series (The Guiltless and The Poor of God) by branwyn on nearly enough rec lists for how good it is. Time Left Today by gzdacz is a bit more well-known, as far as I can tell, but still doesn’t get mentioned as much as others.

Unsaid by Dianaartemis16, A Thousand Words by Ailee17, Life as Dictated by a Talking Hat by RhiannanT, and Under Your Skin by waitingondaisies are all very good as well, and despite being relatively well-known I don’t think they’d be considered true Severitus classics.

Now, for a truly obscure rec: I’m currently reading A Lamb Before the Slaughter by cricket_girl and MerryMandolin, and I’m enjoying it immensely! I found this one while browsing Potions and Snitches and left it on an open tab for a while before starting it, wasn’t all that excited about it since I’d never seen it on any one’s rec list and the summary is a bit vague, but I’m SO glad I gave it a shot; this one’s truly a hidden gem!

Have you read Obscura Nox Animae? I’ve been rereading it & it’s been just as fun second time round!

My most favorite fic so far is The Long Road Home! I highly recommend it if you haven’t read it yet. It’s a large commitment—nearly as long as the entire HP series rolled into one—but is a great ensemble fic featuring mainly Snily. It’s truly great!

Also, it’s not Snily but I am currently reading O Mine Enemy by KirbyLane on AO3 and it’s a Snape mentors/becomes guardian of Harry and it’s super well written and very fun! I’ve been telling everyone irl about it 😂

I think I've found my favourite line about Snape in a fanfic ever:

For once, Snape was just…a person. Well. An intelligent, awkward, antisocial, sarcastic, and guarded person. With anger management issues. Alright, so he wasn’t an altogether admirable person.

#all these ppl getting into how much they love or hate him end up either building him up or breaking him down to something more or less #than what he actually is which is just this: a person #unpopular opinion but I was slightly disappointed when Snape's relationship with Lily became the driving factor for analyzing his character #because it removed his agency & complexity from his choices & reduced him to this 2 dimensional perception: pathetic/reprehensible or marty #he's Interesting because of the question his character raises: is palatability necessary for moral correctness #he draws a line between what it means to be good and what it means to be right #and raises the question of how being nice falls within that dichotomy #severus snape

I consider this to be THE best Harry Potter fanfic I have ever read. It's nice and long 😉, chock full of Harry Snape whumpy goodness, and does a bang up job of the characterizations based on the book characters.

The Phoenix Trilogy by Grangerous

Sooo… since I payed homage to “O Mine Enemy” by KirbyLane, it felt right doing the same to my favourite fanfiction of all times.

It’s a trilogy (as you probably already got) and it is a sloooow burn Snamione. The best Snamione I’ve ever had the good fortune to read (again and again).

Beautifully written, with new characters with whom you surely will fall in love, this trilogy will let you live the years of HBP and DH through Hermione and Severus’ eyes (and empathise sooo much with both of them). These stories can be easily considered as canon since they fit perfectly in the events narrowed by J.K. Rowling. You can even read them at the same time, it’s double fun!

As for Hermione Granger and the Elder Wand… I think it’s a proper piece of art. Are you looking for some action? You got it. Any need for some good laughters? You won’t be disappointed. And are you wondering what could have happened after DH events? This could be the answer you were looking for.
