Thinking about Exandria having a holiday that celebrates love, rather than just romantic relationships, but during which you see romantic couples going all out to celebrate their partners rather earnestly.

Inns, bathhouses and taverns give couple discounts.

While high-end stores sell goodies and teddy bears with cute romance themed writing and imagery on them.

Some towns and villages even host speed dating events for those who are single but interested in trying dating out.

Sure, there's also more familial and otherwise platonic stuff too - much like with the many different romantic gifts, a lot of family-themed or friendship oriented gifts and sweets are sold by the thousands.

And some taverns and inns even offer special family meal deals and room discounts.

I think Vax'ildan would love this holiday, Keyleth too.

Vex'ahlia and Percy probably love it secretly but pretend to find it annoying if with others.

I also see Pike liking it, Tary too, while Grog is just indifferent.

Scanlan, though, probably pretends to love it, but in all truth it makes him feel lonely.

Also - Gilmore is a sucker for it, decorating his whole store with enough excitement to make Sherry consider retirement.

While Kims and Allura always take advantage of it to get away from work and take a much needed vacation.

Jarett probably respects it, but I also see him feeling lonely during it and keeping to himself outside of work hours.

Idk, love is in the air or some shit and my boyfriend gave me this idea so I ran with it.

I know nothing of these characters, but they seem sweet, and there is so much room for tenderness and adoration with such different people. I believe they are of a different species? The curiosity. Mimi loves puffer pigs. She adores all animals, but the pigs have a special place in her heart due to the frequency of which they are kidnapped, abused and trafficked on the black market. Their treatment and value reminds her of her own experiences when she was a teenager and she resonates with them on a personal level.

She had six pigs at the peak of her fame, and the animals came to be associated with her - similar to how Paris Hilton became known with her chihuahuas.

The names of her puffer pigs were Lady, Tula, Coryo, Little Darth, Gossip and Manny. Lady was her first pig, rescued from a foundation on Lothal. She had a type of albinism that caused her skin to be a pale white colour and her eyes a vivid, bright pink, her colouring fitting Mimi's aesthetic and matching her own iconic skin. This led to Mimi being enamored of her, and she was even featured in some of Mimi's photoshoots and music holos.

Little Darth was given to her by Ventress, after the runt puffer-pig got stuck in a crate in the cargo of a transport the Sith acolyte acquired on a botched mission for the Separatists during The Clone Wars. Mimi was on board, having been caught up in the chaos - and she had a tantrum, refusing to leave the ship until Ventress allowed her to take the pig with them. Ventress' soft spot for the pop star allowed her to get away with such an immature display, but the ridiculousness of the entire situation wasn't lost on her.

The members of the Mighty Nein hadn't stayed long, when they'd found their way to the home she shared with Allura. But this time, it seemed that they had less pressing matters to deal with. Honestly, though, Kima could go for a good fight, much to Allura's chagrin.

The rest of the party looked like they'd been faring all right, for the most part, but the skinny wizard was looking haggard, as usual. And while that could just be his normal look, Kima knew what it was like to take on more than one person could easily handle. She'd tended to do a lot of that in her younger days; still did now when Allie wasn't around to remind her to take care of herself.

"You guys got some time to breathe, this time?" she asked, offering Caleb something of a grin. "We know how to offer quite a spread when we have guests," Kima added, hoping that they'd stay for dinner. If she couldn't go off adventuring with them, at least she could hear some of their stories instead.

A Random Assortment of fluffy cute headcanons:

One of the Kashra kids has a bat familiar/companion. It was latched onto Trinket's fur when they returned from a patrol, one wing broken after one of the arboreal wildcats around Whitestone got to it and... well, the Kashra kids take after their parents. They don't leave the needful to suffer alone: they try to help.

Percy used to make music boxes for his sisters. Cassandra still has hers. On the five year anniversary of Whitestone being freed, Percy makes her another (it's partly a trial run for some of his ideas for the clocktower, but it's also a harkening back to their childhood. After all, they're healing).

They do end up setting up a library in Whitestone. With Percy there, there's soon a reasonable printing press as well, and when Vesper starts shadowing Cass in the Chamber of Whitestone, she also starts making a little newsletter to go around. An early iteration of a newspaper.

Some nobles are shitty about Gwen and the Kashra kids. Some of them have tiefling kids of their own that they're ashamed of. Given Zahra and Vex, any time Gwen and the Kashra kids get an INKLING of this, they find a way to befriend said kid and get them free of their parent, if they want it.

Vax watches from beyond the divine gate. He's so proud of all of them.

There's snowdrops around the raven tree in Zephrah every spring. Keyleth never quite gets over it.

The women do periodic holidays any time any of them seems to be getting too mopey. Keyleth is getting too buried in work? Beach holiday. Cass is falling back in bad habits? Beach holiday. Vex is having a trauma anniversary. BEACH HOLIDAY. These are usually organised by Zahra, who is far and away the most on top of her issues, and Pike, who loves springing a surprise on upset friends.

Sometimes Kima and Allura join them. These rapidly turn into cocktail holidays that result in needing at least two days more holiday for "recovery" time when they return.

Percy learns how to make earplugs, not for himself, but so Vex can recover from those hangovers.

AWWWW the kashra kids going full goth aesthetic good for them <33 bats are SO CUTE so this is PERFECT

MUSIC BOXES,,,, something beautiful percy can make......... something beautiful that makes something beautiful, and can make people happy.................... and fuck, imagine him making music boxes for the babies too, and then giving them More once they grow old enough to have things like favorite songs or genres

vesper being a pioneer of something in her own right is SO COOL!! whitestone would end up as the origin of so many little modern thingamabobs, wouldn't it. the ruling family are all braniacs

THOSE NOBLES ARE GETTING DECKED!! i have headcanons about an orphanage/shelter/care system in whitestone that zahra and vex help out with (and i can't for the life of me remember if this is a headcanon inspired by someone else or of it's from canon somewhere) and i imagine it's only because they can't take in all the kids that they want to. and this is the next best thing they can give them, some place safe where they can be protected from the family that tried to - or that did - hurt them. no child deserves that, and vex n zahra (and the rest of the hydris-de rolo conglomerate) will love them twice as much and twice as fiercely to make up for how they were treated

I MISS VAX SO MUCH AND I'VE BEEN SO EMOTIONAL ABOUT HIM RECENTLY SHUT UPPPPP he watches over them.... his family and then his nieces and nephews............ even when he doesn't have much of himself left................. the snowdrops..............................

After a storm, the sun shone more intensely and warmer against the tree on the old cliffs. Leaves were stirred up, the sea was restless. But now everything was quiet. No bird chirped, no animal in the forest made a sound. The sea pounded ungraciously against the rock of the cliffs.

At the center of it all stood the great old tree, sung about in legends. It had grown high into the sky and the strong roots dug deep into the earth. They would connect dimensions.

Are we as strong as these roots? Is our connection as deeply rooted as this tree?

Ayane felt the dancing grass beneath her nacked feet. She had lost her shoes on the way through the forest and now stood in front of the old tree. Deeply she breathed in and out. A presence behind her caught her attention and she felt the copper ring on her finger. It was like it wanted to be noticed.

A smile spread across her face. A muffled sound as if something had fallen into the grass.

His hand running over the back of Ayane's neck. It was warm and she felt the claw like nails brushing her skin. It gave a feeling of safety and warmth. And it made her head dizzy. The sound she heard were the black gloves the Zabrak through to the ground.

A body she knew well pressed against hers. The hand that had just been on the back of her neck now ran down her arm with the same gentleness. A kiss on her neck.

Ayane was about to turn, to look at him, when Maul slid into her field of vision, her hand always in his.

Anwylaf...

They said nothing, just looked into each other's eyes. Maul's hands held the vampiress's face close to his, sometimes stroking through her hair. Ayane's thoughts met the Zabrak with a sigh that she released in the Force.

The blue eyes twitched and quickly she threw her arms around his neck as if all strength left her.

Gently, the two lowered themselves to their knees. Ayane's hand stroked Maul's chest and the Zabrak felt the cold material of the ring brush against his skin.

In the blink of an eye, he placed Ayane's head in his hand, gently stroking her hair, while the other pressed his beloved's face to him and planted a kiss on the corner of her mouth.

Something must have been on both their minds when they opened their eyes a little. The Zabrak looked directly at the vampiress. The golden iris bored into her delicate skin.

Meanwhile, Ayane's eyes focused on the cliffs. Her mouth opened a little. Being in his arms felt like she was flying. To places she always wanted to be. She was where she belonged. In the arms of her beloved one
