I don’t know who needs to hear this but: Your feelings for a fictional character - love, grief over their death - are real and valid, and feeling these things for said fictional character doesn’t make you weird or “crazy“. Quite the opposite, actually: to feel deeply for a fictional character is a sign of great empathy, a very valuable trait when it comes to dealing with people in real life and a very valuable resource to find comfort in fiction which can be as helpful preventing mental illness as real life friendships etc.

A trait which those people subtly or not-so-subtly making fun of others for experiencing said feelings of love and grief are severely lacking.

Frankly, making fun of others for that is the behaviour of playground bullies, especially if they’re even taking time out of their days to come to other people’s inboxes to do it.

I’ve got a psychology degree as a receipt so feel free to quote me on that. Don’t ever let people with the emotional intelligence of a teaspoon invalidate your feelings towards fictional characters or anything else, for that matter.

Diary Entry: Love Finds a Way

I think Ghibli Studio movies are love letter to the nature, to the naive little you who believed everything that's magical. I remember cuddling with my mother & elder sister in rainy nights, where mother would whisper fairytales in our ears, or the early mornings covered in mist, I used to listen fairy tales while walking towards school. That was my love letter to my childhood, the movies helped me giving perspective to my life. When you watch Ghibli movies at young age, you wanted to live in world with wizards or you try to find little people in the dark corners of your house, but as a grown up, I realised it's all about appreciating nature and everything it offers. You understood even in the worst days, your family/closed one will surround you with their embrace. You realise all along the magic you were trying to find, lies in the love you feel or the love you gave away. Love the most magical power of them all. There's nothing much to our everyday mundane life but still there's beauty in waking up early or in making your favourite meal! You can be a brave warrior or an artist who's fighting the injustice of the world with nothing but courage. As a grown up I still and will always believe in magic because it's there with us, it's there with our each breath and it's there in our every heart beat because true magic lies only within you🍃

Kayne fr saying what I've been saying all along, Larson is just kinda boring as a person. He thinks he's super cool and amazing and that the gods are just gonna give him what he wants but he's not nearly as unique and special as he thinks he is!!!

Him thinking he's going to be granted power and then getting fucking obliterated by his own arrogance and assumption that he'll come out on top, and then Kayne rips his eyes out and makes him the King's new toy.

Love that for him. He's going to suffer and you know what. I think that's perfect.

I just went into the basement of our apartment building to get my laundry from the tumble dryer and met my neighbour, who was high as a kite and staring at me in utter terror while he mumbled to himself "nobody's ever gonna believe me" which I found weird because he's usually a very chill dude - until I passed by a mirror and realized I forgot to wash my hydrating face mask off hours ago and now my neighbour is having the worst trip of his life I guess 😂😂
