Disney should let go of “Happiest Place on Earth” and give it to LGBTQ+ Pride (and anywhere I’m at with @vandyt33 of course)

I love my city, Kansas City, MO. Here on the edge of the plains and the convergence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers and their bluffs. The city and suburbs stretch for miles thanks to mostly plains and soft rolling hills. And since we're not so densely populated as the top cities in the US, our lights really shine and brighten up the night sky. But if you want an unfiltered view without the city lights you don't have to drive any more than 30 min in an direction or less for a view of a lifetime. . . #lifeonosage #mycity #kcpride . #Repost @igkansascity • • • • • This feature comes from... ================================= @mcrleonel ================================= 💙 our city day and night! The LGBT community doesn’t deserve to get scammed!
This year, one of the vendors at Kansas City’s Pride Fest was “True Frequency Products.” This is a well documented scam that has no place at Pride Fest. Here’s what you need to know.
“True Frequency Products” is one of many companies that claims to use natural frequency resonance to cure just about anything; Arthritis, A.D.H.D, Carpel Tunnel, Numbness, and M.S.. It also claims to make you stronger, better rested, and more energized. These claims are utterly false and without evidence. A similar product, power balance, has already faced consequences for its lies. In Australia, they were legally forced to admit that there is no evidence for their claims and their conduct was misleading.
You can read more about their fraudulent claims at the science based medicine blog.
One of their most common tactics, is their “balance test.” Their website boasts “you’ve got to feel it to believe it!” These tests rely on clever shifts in the angle of force in order to convince you that you are weak without their product and strong with it. These videos expose how this trick works.

So what do we do? Pride Fest was dismissive of my concerns. They viewed me at a lone busybody who was ruining everyone's good time. This is a matter of protecting the community from fraudulent medical claims, and every one should be concerned. Please contact the organizers, show them the evidence, and let them know that you don’t want scammers at pride fest!
Email them at [email protected] and BCC me at [email protected] so that we can keep an official count.
