Hear me out right quick,

Hawks with a teenage sidekick, 17 or 18 or so. One who's trained with him for years. Maybe he rescued them from the commission, idk. But they're inseparable. Hawks is like an older brother, and pretty much the only family Y/N has.

Despite how pong they've known each other though, Y/N doesn't like physical touch. He doesn't know why, and it hurts them every time they flinch away from his touch, but he doesn't press. He does things at their pace. He wants to keep his best friend comfortable.

So one day after a really rough solo mission, maybe Hawks goes to pick Y/N up from the hospital. He's all worried sick and when he just sees Y/N standing in the middle of a crowded hall, he's frozen in surprise when they hesitantly reach out towards him and steps forward before diving in to hug him.

He's shocked and afraid to hug them back, but once he realizes it's what they need, he hugs them so tight. He lets them sob into his shirt, and hold them as tight as he can. His head rests on the top of theirs, and he only let's go when they're ready. From there, Y/N holds his hand and clings to his arm. This is the most physical contact he's had with them in the years of knowing them, but he smiles when he realizes that this is their way of seeking comfort. And as much as he wants to hold them and never let them go, platonically of course, he's perfectly content lending them his hand when that's the only contact they're comfortable with.

Just something I though of because I myself dislike physical touch but find immense comfort in the occasional strong hug and clinging to one's hand. 100% self indulgent lol but it's fuel for thought.

i've always viewed it as a crackship, like as someone who adores koyuki and how meaningful she is for hakuji and what he becomes as akaza, i kinda have to separate it in my head as like. hakuji x koyuki, my beloveds they own my heart i would die for them <3 and douma x akaza...... my worsties my behateds they've gotten divorced 4 times <3 i think their dynamic is endlessly entertaining so the goofy goblin in my brain decided it would be Funny If They Kissed As A Joke one day and it ended up spiraling into them being my current fav crackship T-T

ANYWAYSSS. have some headcanons if you survived my nonsense blurb, imma put em under the cut cuz this is too long already lol

-i crank up their height difference and hc douma as 6'4 & keep akaza at 5'8. Big Goofy & Small Cranky is peak

-dodo is touchy feely. if akaza's waist not meant to be grabbed.. why so grabbable??

-i will say even though he's touchy feely everything spoicy between em is fully consensual, i see a lot of nc with them but i've never seen them that way

-akaza fights the mild fondness he has for dodo for a long ass time cuz he finds him so fuckin annoying. in a moment of weakness he cracks a smile at some dumb shit douma says and then they smooch the end

-douma really likes akaza's tattoos. he'll trace them with his fingers a lot, he likes the contrast of them against akaza's skin

and in my extremely delulu world: (blame ao3 for this)

-douma gains the Feels because of their eventual closeness. they are Sad Boys but they are sad together so it's ok

-dodo says a lot of loveydovey stuff but akaza doesn't voice much in return. it doesn't bug dodo though, cuz his actions say enough

-dodo stops sleeping with his worshippers after akaza & him start doing the devil's tango. when you bag the hottest catboy of the century you don't need anythin else

-they don't really need to sleep as demons but they'll nap in dodo's boujee ass bed because they deserve a good rest and i am insane

main tells are the light in her eyes becomes less focused/pinpointed and antennae relaxed. she doesn't have eyelids but i hc that her eyes do the same sorta thing that crested geckos do when they sleep. slightly sunken with the surrounding area turning in a bit so it looks like the eyes 'close' a bit compared to when they're awake

they also have a telekinetic link bcuz of her powers so he can pick up on her feelings/thoughts etc. so if she's eepin he can tell bcuz she's quiet and/or he can feel her dreams n shiet. they can share dreams too because i like making myself cry for fun :)))

I had a genius idea for a newsies au if anyone wants to rp it with me PLEASE reach out

It takes place in a modern settings and either they are the same age or a little bit older

The Manhattan newsies are all in a band but one day their guitarist drops out, so Jack who was the lead singer has to take guitar and still some vocals bur they need another singer now and jack meets Davey, this dorky kid who seems different from all his friends bur *damn* can he sing so he offers for him to join. Obviously theres a blooming romance between Jack and Davey and Jack is VERY flirtatious with him.

Also important detail, the guitarist who dropped out is none other than Katherine Pulitzer, who is Jack's ex girlfriend.

And their rival band are the brooklyn boys with Spot Conlon as the lead singer

Dating Kai Headcannons

A/N: Writing for every character on my list day 5! I’m knocking a lot of these out in one day but I don’t want to upload them all at once. Hope you all enjoy! Here’s what I think dating Kai Smith would be like.

Kai’s definitely an experience

His anger often got the best of him, but with you around, he was learning to control his temper.

Once he blew up at you and you ran off crying, giving him the cold shoulde for a few days. He vowed to never blow up at you again after that day.

His elemental power came in handy when you were cramping or were hurt. Kai would simply warm up any part of his body for you to lean against. Your back hurt? He’d heat up his chest and have you lay against him. Your knee was giving your trouble? Kai would heat up his leg and have you wrap yours around him.

Kai slept a lot easier when you were with him. The other ninja were used to finding you in Kai’s bed in the morning, or if the two of you went to bed earlier then the rest of them. There’s just something about holding you tightly against him that reasures him that you were alive and well.

You’d try to train with him but he’d decline, not wanting to hurt you. But when he saw you beat Lloyd in a fight, he jumped right in to go next.

He’d ‘accidently’ leave hoodies or clean sweatpants laying around for you to ‘steal’ so he’d get to see you in his clothes.

Kai loves to cook for you! He loves seeing your reaction to new recipes or desserts.
