You were sitting in your room by your lonesome as you quietly sipped your tea. You wore an elegant kimono draped over your white one, as you rested on your bedding. The candle was the only light source in the darkened room. You sighed to yourself, as you soaked in the gentle aroma of your tea.
Your strength has come back, and you’ve been able to manage around the castle on your own, but you preferred Kohaku’s ever-sweet presents with you. You smiled as you thought of him, he was such a sweet boy. The sound of a light knocking against the shogi doors brought you from your thoughts, and you looked over at them. “Come in.” You said.
The gentle voice of Kohaku sounded through and your smile spread. He slid open the doors and you smiled sweetly at him. He smiled in return as he placed a tray with food on the floor of your room, before he moved to close the door behind him. “Good evening, Kohaku. How are you?” You kindly asked him. He smiled as he walked to you with the tray. “I’ve been well, Miss (Y/N). I’ve just been busy around the castle is all.” He answered kindly as he moved to sit before you. You smiled at his answer, as you watched him place your tray before you. “I’m pleased to hear that. Thank you, Kohaku.” You kindly said.
“It’s no problem at all, Miss (Y/N).” He replied as he sat with his knees tucked under him. You smiled at him before you looked down at your food, it wasn’t anything special, just a bowl of rice, a grilled fish, and two boiled eggs. You looked up at him in question. “Are you hungry, Kohaku?” You asked him. His eyes widen some at your question. “Umm, I am a little hungry, but I’ll eat later.” He said with a sheepish smile. You gave him a concerned look before you picked up a boiled egg and you offered it to him.
“Here, eat this, and once you’re done you can have some rice too.” You said. He shook his head as he held his hand up. “Oh no, I can’t. That’s for you Miss (Y/N).” He said. Your face went stern as you pushed the boiled egg toward his hand. “I understand that, but you work so hard around here, you deserve a well-earned break, so please eat.” You pleaded with a stern voice. He stared at you with a worried look before he looked down at the egg and he sighed in defeat before he took the egg.
You smiled in triumph as you picked up the bowl of rice. “Once you’ve finished your egg, you may eat some rice too.” You said. He nodded as he took a bite from the egg. You smiled tenderly at him, happy to see him eating. He devoured his egg quickly before he greedily picked up the bowl of rice and he began shoving it down his throat. You smiled fondly at him as you picked up your tea cup and you moved to hand it to him. “Here, drink something before you choke.” You said with a slight chuckle.
He stopped eating the rice, as his face flushed red with embarrassment. He placed the bowl down and he took the cup of tea. You smiled sweetly at him as you watched him eat your whole meal. But you didn’t mind. ‘He’s such a hard worker, he takes his job so seriously till he doesn’t even eat much.’ You thought. You smiled to yourself in thought as you looked down at your lap. ‘He’s such a sweet boy, he reminds me of Inuyasha when he was a young boy.’ You thought.
Your eyes suddenly flashed worriedly as you looked off to your side. ‘I hope he's fairing well. I know he's strong but I can't but worry.' You thought. Your cheeks suddenly warmed as you thought of the young lord of the castle. 'It’ll come as an unwelcoming surprise if he finds out that I’ve fallen in love with the young lord of this house.’ You thought worriedly. ‘But maybe he won’t mind so much, after all, he’s a half-demon just like himself.’ You thought hopefully.
The sound of wooden dishes being placed down made you snap from your thoughts and you smiled at Kohaku as he let out a contented sigh. “Ah! That hit the spot.” He said as he rubbed his stomach. You chuckled at him sweetly. “I’m glad that you enjoyed it, I hope you eat more often like this, Kohaku. I worry for you.” You said. He smiled at you. “I’ll try, Miss (Y/N).” He promised. You smiled as you nodded at him.

Inuyasha and the group were moving quickly through the woods. Inuyasha had recently caught the scent of Oak Trees and Miasma, and he immediately jumped into action and everyone followed. Kagome was forced to ride on Kirara since Inuyasha just suddenly took off, but she couldn’t blame him, his mom was in danger. If her mom was in the same predicament, she'd do the same thing. It was a pretty silent chase, not much could be said about the situation at hand.
Inuyasha’s solid focus was on keeping the scent as he ran and glided through the forest. ‘Don’t worry Mom, I’m coming to save you.’ He determinedly thought. He blinked in shock and confusion when a familiar scent rolled through. He looked towards his right, and he looked towards his left, but he didn’t see anything. ‘Why do I smell Sesshomaru nearby?’ He thought in confusion as he continued his chase.
Sango, Miroku, Kagome, and Shippo all sat in silence as they followed Inuyasha from above on Kirara. Kirara suddenly growled in warning as she looked back causing everyone else to react. “What’s the matter, Kirara?” Sango asked in concern as she looked at her companion. “What’s wrong, Sango?” Miroku asked as he looked around at Sango.
She looked back at him in confusion and worry. “I don’t know, but Kirara is reacting to something.” She explained worriedly, her eyes trailed passed everyone and her eyes widen. “Huh? What’s he doing here?” She asked in confusion. Everyone looked at her in question before they all followed her gaze behind them. Their eyes widen when they noticed that they were being trailed.
“What in the world?” Miroku asked in shock. “It’s Sesshomaru!?” Kagome called out loudly in confusion. Her voice caused Inuyasha to look back and he narrowed his sight on Sesshomaru. 'There he is. I knew I smelled him.' Inuyasha thought. Sesshomaru was flying behind the group, his impassive face dead set as he shot through the sky like a comet. “What’s he doing here?” Shippo asked in a frightened voice. “I’m not sure, but it probably has something to do with (Y/N).” Mirkou said.
“He must be following the same scent as Inuyasha.” Kagome said. Sesshomaru paid them no mind as he sped past them, the speed at which he traveled caused a whipping wind to pass by the group. They all closed their eyes as they hung on tightly to one another so as to not be blown away. Kirara growled in struggle as she fought against the powerful winds that pushed her back causing her to fall back some. “KIRARA!! ARE YOU OKAY!?” Sango yelled in worried as she felt Kirara give slightly under the wind.
Inuyasha growled in worry as he watched his friends struggle against the winds before he glared over at Sesshomaru. “What the hell are you doing, Sesshomaru? If it’s anyone who's going to take out Naraku, it’s going to be me.” He declared as he ran, keeping up with Sesshomaru's speed. Sesshomaru said nothing, as he kept focus on the sight in front of him. His eyes were glossed over with rage as he practically ignored Inuyasha. Inuyasha’s annoyed stare turned into a confused one before his glare softened some before he looked ahead of himself once more.
“Listen, I get it, you’re upset about Mom getting taken by that creep, but we’ll get her back.” Inuyasha said, trying to comfort Sesshomaru while also reassuring himself. He was feeling rather antsy, he was honestly nervous about it all. Sesshomaru glanced over at Inuyasha for a second before he looked back ahead. “Hmph, that woman is of no concern to me. I am simply here to defeat Naraku.” He scoffed. Inuyasha scoffed in return. “Huun, don’t give me that load of crap, you’re just as worried as I am, face it Sesshomaru, you’re here to save mom just like I am.” Inuyasha said. Sesshomaru scowled but he didn’t say anything in return.
The group flew behind the brothers, listening to the two as they conversed. “So, Sesshomaru knows of (Y/N)’s abduction.” Miroku noted. Sango nodded before she looked back at him. “Yes, but I’m not sure how, unless Kagura spoke to him just as she did to us.” She said. Miroku nodded. “Yes, that would make the most sense. Kagura needs as many people as she can get to help her obtain her freedom.” He said.
Sango nodded in agreement. Kagome looked down at the brothers with a thoughtful look. “Yeah, but how did Kagura know that she had any kind of connections to Sesshomaru?” She asked. They both looked back at her in shock. “That’s a good question.” Sango said. Miroku nodded. “It is, it does hold some concern. I now wonder how much of what Kagura told us was true.” He said as he thought over what Kagura told them a few nights ago.
“Yes, like if this Kusho Pearl even exists.” Sango agreed. Kagome spoke up. “I think it does.” She said. They both looked back at her in question. “Oh? How do you figure?” Sango asked. “Well, if she was lying, she wouldn’t of have sounded so hopeful. Don’t forget, she wants Naraku dead just as much as we do.” She said. Miroku nodded. “That’s true, she would have no reason to lie about the Pearl then.” He confirmed. “The question that now remains, is how did she know that (Y/N) even had any sort of connections to Sesshomaru.” Sango said. Everyone grew silent as they thought it over to themselves.

In the rocky mountains, a group of wolves could be seen running along with Ginta and Hakkaku, they were all breathing heavily as they ran through the mountains that lead towards the woods. “KOGA!!” Ginta yelled in exhaustion. “WAIT...FOR US!!!” Hakkaku yelled as they both tiredly jogged. They could see a twister that was a few yards away from them before it vanished into the woods.
They came to a stop, as they leaned over, their hands on their knees as they caught their breaths. “What’s got him… so wired up?” Hakkaku panted. “I don’t know… something about Naraku maybe.” Ginta panted. Koga ran ahead, a determined glare on his face as he charged through the forest. ‘Naraku, you bastard. I’ve finally caught a whiff of your disgusting scent. You’re mine this time.’ He thought as he raced through the forest. In the sky,
Kagura floated on her feather, as she stared down in wonder. ‘So Koga is in on the hunt too is he? I wasn’t expecting this, but the more the merrier as they say. With Naraku’s sudden change in plan, this is perfect.’ She thought, pleased with the outcome. ‘I was about to change tactics, but this should work out just fine.’ She thought before she flew off in the same direction that Koga was heading in. ‘With this amount of people, we might just have a chance to actually defeat Naraku.’ She thought as her eyes gleamed in unpromised triumph.
✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩ͯ•͙͙✧⃝•͙͙✩ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ
In Naraku’s castle, the Kusho Pearl gleamed a dark purple aura, the Jewel shard reacting in kind as it shined its own pure aura. Elsewhere in the castle, Kohaku walked with you down the many halls of the castle. “This castle is ever so gloomy.” You suddenly stated. Kohaku nodded in agreement. “It truly is.” He said. You sighed as you stared at the darkened hall before you. “I wonder, if perhaps the young lord will allow me to decorate the walls with some life?” You pondered aloud.
Kohaku looked over at you with a kind smile. “It’s hard to say, but it doesn’t hurt to ask him.” He said, as he encouraged you. You smiled over at him. “Ask me what?” Came Naraku's smooth voice. You both looked forward, seeing Naraku walking down the hall towards you both, Kanna walked behind him silently, her mirror shining a white light before it went back to being a reflective surface.
Kohaku straightened up in slight nervousness while your cheeks warmed and you bowed your head bashfully. “Oh, um..well my Lord. I was wondering...” You said shyly before you tailed off. Naraku stared at you for a moment before he walked forward toward you. He stopped before you, his socks coming into your field of vision but you didn’t look up. “I’m sorry, but I can’t quite hear you. You’ll have to speak up some, Milady.” He said politely.
You slowly looked up at him bashfully. “Well… I was just speaking to Kohaku, and I wanted to know if that, I perhaps could decorate the castle some.” You said shyly. He stared down at you, his eyes studied you with question before he smiled kindly. “You may, but what did you have in mind?” He asked. He honestly could care less, but he had to make your heart swoon for him completely.
You beamed up at him happily before you began to give him a list of ideas. He watched you intensely, not really focusing on what you were saying. He focused on the familiar aura of Onigumo’s aura that was leaking from you. It grew some since he last saw you. ‘Ah, so my plan is working after all, is it? I thought that perhaps it wouldn’t take hold, but alas, her half-human heart soaked in that ridiculous emotion like a sponge.”
He gave a small smirk in triumph as he ‘listened’ to your ideas for the castle. ‘Inuyasha will be most ‘pleasantly’ surprised when he discovers that his mother is loyal to me. Her heart beats for me, just as strongly as it does for him.’ He thought, as he placed his hand gently against the small of your back, leading you along with him as he nodded to your silly ideas. Kohaku stared after the two of your figures in concern for your well-being.
Kanna walked slowly pass him, as she kept up with Naraku. Kohaku looked over at her, watching as she slowly passed by him. He sighed before he decided to follow as well. The darkness of the castle swallowed you all, as your happy voice carried out through the darkness of the castle.

Kagura and Sesshomaru dialogue - InuYasha the final Act episode 2
Kagura: It’s quiet… There is nobody. Is this the end? Alone… This is the freedom I sought… [sigh] …Sesshomaru…
Sesshomaru: I followed the scent of blood and miasma.
Kagura: [laugh] I see, you thought it was Naraku. Are you disappointed that I’m not Naraku?
Sesshomaru: I knew it was you.
Kagura: [sigh] Even thought…you came?
Sesshomaru: [thought “Even Tenseiga cannot save her.”]
Sesshomaru: Are you leaving?
Kagura: Yes… It’s enough.
Kagura: [thought “I saw you… one last time”]

Inuyasha: Prince of Thieves
Chapter 5: A New Dawn
On Tumblr: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 5 Posted also: on ff.net and AO3 Words: 1,981 Rated: M (in general) Genre: Romance & Adventure Setting: Robin Hood!AU, in a fictional land that is neither England nor Japan, but rather an odd fusion of both (ish)
Oops, I did it again.... it's been 2 years since my last updaaate~~ oh baby baby...
To all who remember this ol' thing, enjoy! ❤
~~~
The coming of dawn broke a wave of mixed relief and nervousness over Nottingham village. The red star was gone; the sky was clear and blue once more, and yet its passing took a toll on the people’s fears.
“Nothing has happened…. yet. Yet. The gods are testing us,” they murmured to one another, making pious signs and hurrying about their day’s activities, nearly every one of them acting like certain doom lingered over their shoulders.
Whispers wondered what terrible omen would strike their home. Some claimed a drought or famine was fast approaching, others cried of a plague. Some pondered humane disasters, such as a crippling new tax by their Sheriff, or a war in a distant land calling for the blood of their men. A select few were convinced it was the end times, but most chose to brush that aside (even if the thought sent a chill down their spines).
A few dared to believe that perhaps nothing would come of the red star. Or perhaps, the gods struck elsewhere, but spared their humble village. Most reacted with incredulity at such naivety.
“Red as blood and wide as the sea,” those skeptics whispered amongst themselves, shivering at the memory. “We dare not hope for anything less than a flood or fire. If we prepare for the worst, the gods might treat us kindly thereafter.”
And though the fear and apprehension lingered in everyone’s hearts, still, the folks of Nottingham continued on as if nothing was out of the ordinary. For that’s what humans do best: they carry on.
~
Sheriff Naraku, or Lord Naraku, as he preferred to be called by his vassals, cared not for stars of any color. He was a learned man, in spite of appearances, and knew that it was only a comet passing overhead, nothing more. But he also knew of the power of ignorance and fear.
He sat languidly in his office, dictating a report to a twitchy scribe, when a sharp rap sounded on the door before opening.
Wolf demons were excellent tools in warfare. Loyal to a fault, and always obeying their leaders without question, their teamwork was unparalleled, and their fighting methods were swift and concise. But they were also annoyingly obsessed with protecting their own kind above all else. Thus, Naraku struck a deal with a leader of a wolf demon clan decades ago: they and their kin shall work for him as his loyal guards, and in turn, their families will be completely exempt from the brutal, increasingly relentless taxes and have full protection. They do not live luxuriously, of course, but instead healthily, safely, and comfortably, but all of it came at an unspoken cost:
The moment a single member of the clan betrayed Naraku, Sheriff of Nottingham, Lord of Nottingham Castle, every single wolf, man, woman, and cub, would be brutally slaughtered.
Few of the wolf demons actually knew this, even if some had surmised it over the years. But the knowledge was passed down from leader to leader, as a warning: protect the clan. Do not betray them. Do your job, no matter how unpleasant, no matter how despised.
And thus it was Kouga, Captain of the Guard, who entered the scene, shouldering the burden of his forebears. He did not consider it a burden, but rather his duty, thinking of his mate, Ayame, and his soon-to-be litter of cubs due any day now.
He wore the armor of his late father, chainmail with a brown breastplate featuring an emblem of two silver wolves howling at the moon. At his hip rested a thin sword and a dagger, rarely removed from his side, a steady reminder of his role.
He bowed courteously before his blackmailer and employer, then stood at attention. “My lord called for me?”
“Ah, yes. Captain Kouga. I have a job for you.”
It was a mark of his character that Kouga did not betray the shiver of disgust that slid down his back from Naraku’s slippery tone. His face and voice remained as impassive as ever. A perfect soldier. He remained silent, waiting for orders.
“You may leave us, scribe,” Naraku said quietly. The frightened man jumped, upsetting his inkwell. He mumbled several hurried apologies, but fled the office, knowing it was better to follow direct orders than to clean up his mess.
Naraku sighed. “Humans are such clumsy creatures. I’ll have to call up a maid later.” He leaned back in his chair, making no effort to stop the black ink oozing down the side of his desk, creating a dark puddle on the floor. The dripping slowed eventually, each plop onto the stained floor becoming uncannily unpleasant to the eye and ear, almost resembling the consistency of blood.
Kouga said nothing. It was not his job to offer suggestions. Naraku smiled, his eyes cold and dark, boring into Kouga’s brilliant blue eyes. Kouga suppressed another shiver.
“Have you ever heard of the Prince of Thieves?” The question came without preamble, and startled Kouga; he almost slipped his composure.
“I have heard rumors, my lord.” Kouga sounded indifferent, but his curiosity was piqued. He had grown up on tales of the mysterious brigand. “Some say he’s a ghost or an ancient legend.”
“He is neither. He is very much alive, although in recent memory, he has managed to remain elusive from the commoners’ knowledge, even if some of the elders vaguely recall his true identity.” Naraku scoffed. “The so-called Prince resides in Sherwood Forest and has been a thorn in my side for fifty odd years.”
Kouga said nothing. He fully expected his orders to gather several of his men and comb the Forest until they find and arrest the mysterious Prince of Thieves.
Instead, his lord said something entirely different.
“The time has come to collect another tax.”
Kouga blinked. It was the only physical sign he had given of his discomfit. “My lord?”
“Yes…” Naraku dragged out the word, as if savoring a delicious treat. His voice was barely a whisper, but of course, that did not matter to a wolf demon. “I find myself…. sorely lacking in funds at the moment. We shall announce that the Prince of Thieves has ‘demanded payment’ and it is simply, ah, too much of a burden for Nottingham Castle to carry out alone. We need all of Nottingham’s help, from the merchants to the blacksmiths to the farmers.”
“It must be a king’s ransom,” Kouga said without thinking, inwardly kicking himself.
But Naraku only laughed quietly. “A king’s ransom, you say? Excellent idea, Captain.”
A tiny part of Kouga’s conscience squirmed, but he promptly squished it. “How shall I announce it, my lord?”
“Tell your men that for every barrel of wheat they collect, every gold coin they wring from the grubby hands of merchants and tradesmen, is all for the sake of appeasing one very dangerous man: Inuyasha, the Prince of Thieves.”
~
“So. So.”
Kagome squirmed uncomfortably. “My dearest Yuka--”
“Oh no, you will not try to butter me up, my lady! You will explain to me in no uncertain terms exactly why you were not snug as a bug in bed a few minutes ago when I came to help you get ready for the day, and instead were… were… locked in a passionate embrace with a strange man!”
Yuka’s cheeks were so pink and round with all her huffing and puffing that in any other situation, Kagome would have burst out laughing. But she knew all too well what this looked like. What it was.
Behind her, Inuyasha seemed equally torn between the comedy of the scene and the utterly real consequences of what they had just committed. He cleared his throat nervously, stepping down into the room and bowing before Yuka, who looked rather like she was considering screaming for the guards.
“Miss Yuka, pray, do not blame your lady and mistress for committing such folly. I take full responsibility for her ladyship’s actions, for if I had not been there, she never would have let temptation seduce her so thoroughly. Strike me, if you wish.” And thus, Inuyasha offered his cheek, leaning down, his eyes closed in anticipation, but otherwise serene in his acceptance.
Yuka was taken aback by this sudden gesture of contrition. She blinked, glancing back and forth between her lady (who looked just as shocked) and the stranger now ready to receive his due chastising.
“I-- you--- ahem,” she cleared her throat. “Since it is forbidden of me to strike my lady and mistress, you shall take her place, master thief.”
SMACK! Yuka’s hand rang loud and clear against Inuyasha’s flesh, knocking the very wind out of him. He stumbled backwards, crash landing against a magnificent tall vase and shattering it all over the cobbled floor.
All three stood stunned silent for a moment. Then, Kagome burst out laughing. “Well, now! I hope you’re well and satisfied, Yuka! Never have I seen a slap performed so spectacularly!” Inuyasha joined in her mirth, grinning sheepishly as he rubbed his sore spot and straightened up.
Yuka blushed, but still looked rather pleased with herself even as she pretended to sniff with dignity. “I never liked that repulsive thing. It is far too dull-looking to be proper furnishings for a lady’s bedchamber,” she said with a disdainful look at the shattered remains of the vase. “I suppose I’ll have to call up a servant to dispose of it.
“And as for you,” she shot at Inuyasha, who instinctively jumped back, his back colliding with the wall, “you may have charmed me into being merciful this time, but I shall be chaperoning Lady Kagome from now on. No exceptions,” she added, putting her hand up to stop Kagome’s protest. “I made a vow to your good mother, my lady, that I would keep an eye on you while visiting Nottingham until she is well enough to come visit, and I will be generous enough to not report this… this excursion to her, but I will not fail in my role again.”
Kagome bit her lip. She knew Yuka was in the right, and that this was far too fair a trade in exchange for her scandalous actions. She nodded reluctantly, but didn’t miss the wink Inuyasha sent her way in her peripheral vision.
Blushing, Kagome pretended to straighten out her dress, while Yuka continued her tut-tutting.
The sun, glaring brighter than ever without the red star’s obstruction, nearly blinded the traveling friar and his companion as they climbed up the hill overlooking Nottingham Village and Sherwood Forest.
The friar was surprisingly young and slim for a man of the cloth, with sleek black hair not betraying a single strand of gray, tied back in a small ponytail. His eyes were dark brown, alert and sparking with wit, but highlighted by deep dark circles, betraying his fitful nights.
His companion was a beautiful woman with long black hair and violet eyes, deep and mournful, but shining with affection whenever they looked upon the friar. But what stood out the most was her extended stomach, heavy with child.
On their backs, they each carried a sleeping toddler, twin girls. Perched on the pregnant woman’s shoulder was a small, black and yellow twin-tailed cat, who every so often nuzzled her neck affectionately and encouragingly.
“Only one more mile to go, my love, before we reach Sherwood Forest,” the friar called over his shoulder.
“I am glad to hear it,” the woman said in reply, sounding steady but strained with exhaustion. “But Miroku, why did we travel so far just to meet ‘an old friend’ of yours?”
Friar Miroku gave a wry smile. He turned his gaze towards the village, nestled on the edge of the forest its inhabitants feared so much.
“Let’s just say there’s no better place to hide than in Sherwood Forest, home to the Prince of Thieves.”
Naraku is just one of those villains that you really just grow to hate. I really don't like the fact he uses the shikon jewel for evil.
Ella es!!!
Tumblr media
Kagome decide ayudar a su amado primo Kōga, haciéndose pasar por él, luego de que una carrera de motos lo deja con mala salud y en riesgo de perder la beca deportiva que acababa de ganar para estudiar en un reconocido instituto masculino.
Pero no será tan fácil, un grupo de élite que controla la academia comenzará a ponerle las cosas difíciles, pero descubrirán su secreto: "es una mujer".
Uno de ellos se enamorará de ella y el otro pasará de ser su rival a enamorarse de su valiente forma de ser.
--- Olvídalo Taisho, yo la he visto primero.
--- Haz lo que desees.
El de ojos ámbar respondió al heredero del clan Onigumo, no admitiría que se había enamorado y obsesionado con alguien que era exponencialmente diferente al tipo de mujeres jóvenes con las que solía salir. Pero más que nada sabía que ella posiblemente lo detestaba.
Girando de un lado a otro entre los extensos jardines del Instituto, trató de contenerse. Tuvo que luchar contra el sentimiento.
El shock producido por su ensimismamiento lo llevó a tener frente a sí a su tormento, Koga Ookami Higurashi, como era conocido por la mayoría, Kagome Higurashi para él y para Naraku.
El impacto de conocerlo también se reflejó en la joven que se enmascaraba bajo esa apariencia varonil, ella sabía que él podía delatarlos en cualquier momento, pero ¿por qué no lo hizo? Tal vez él también quería burlarse de ella como lo había hecho con su prima Kikyo.
Ella no le daría ese placer, pero ¿cómo luchar contra tu propio corazón? El encuentro de miradas decía más que mil palabras, tal vez era demasiado tarde para hacerlo.
Nota: No es una historia, solo queria darle contexto a este fanart que habia abandonado y por fin terminé. En caso de que te lo estés preguntando, el personaje de arriba a la derecha es Naraku.
Kagome's Got To Go by @ajoy3fanfics (NR)
The way Yuki and Suki saw it, this Kagome woman needed to go.
From the first day she came, they knew she was trouble. They had been playing a perfectly fun game of 'who can annoy uncle the most' (It was always Suki), when he suddenly stood up, passing them off to Shippo with a distant look in his eyes. Uncle was fast, there was no question about that, but unless there was a reason for him to be on high alert, he was downright lethargic. Still, Uncle Inuyasha needing space wasn't anything new, so it wasn't terribly worrisome that he took off at high speed; It did, however, raise a few red flags when Shippo shook them off and headed in the dog demons direction, screaming "it's her! She's back!"
Kikyo also deserved no toxic hate from the radical fans of Inuyasha, especially the Kagome-Inuyasha shippers that have total apathy for her since her revival she decided to kill Inuyasha out of the mistaken assumption that he betrayed and killed her when it was Naraku who shattered their romantic relationship.
It’s been a few days since you’ve been bedridden, and during those few days, the sweet boy named Kohaku was always with you. He enjoyed talking to you and you enjoyed his company. Sometimes he’d aid you in walking around the castle, showing you around the dark maze. You once asked him why it was so dark, and his only answer. “Some of the demons within the walls have a hard time with sunlight.” He explained. You understood, being half-demon yourself, you knew of a few demons who preferred the dark. Kohaku always kept a good grip on you, helping you to walk, you couldn’t understand why you were feeling so weak lately.
You were more hungry, more weaker, and more restless. It was almost like your human side was stronger than your demonic side, you just couldn’t make sense of it. Your hearing wasn’t as good as it used to be, and neither was your sense of smell. You were worried that perhaps that maybe you were dying, but that wouldn’t make sense. Something was wrong. As you both walked down the hall, he stopped you from walking any further. The sudden stop pulled you from your thoughts, making you look over at him. “Kohaku? What’s wrong?” You asked him. He stared ahead of himself with a cautious look. You stared at him a bit longer, before you looked ahead. There, you saw Kanna.
“Oh, why hello there, Kanna.” You said kindly, as you smiled at her. She didn’t say anything, she just stood there, her little mirror snug in her wrist and hands. Seeing the mirror made you shiver, and your instincts told you to run, but you didn’t know why. You pushed the feeling down, but you kept a mental note of it. “Thank you for saving me from my own clumsiness from the fields. I’m usually more aware than that, I’m grateful for you and your sister.” You said, deep gratitude in your smile. She remained silent, you thought that she wouldn’t say anything, but you were shocked when she bowed her head very slightly. “You’re welcome.” She softly said. You gave her a smile. “Do you wish to walk with me and Kohaku?” You asked.
Kohaku looked over at you for a moment before he looked back over at Kanna. She remained stoic, her face held no emotion, and it reminded you of Sesshomaru when he was a boy. Your smile became fond before a confused look came upon your face. ‘I feel like I’ve met her before, and that I had that exact same thought… but from where?’ You thought, as a strong sense of Dija Vu came over you. You were pulled from your thoughts when soft footsteps sounded and you looked up. You saw Kanna walking slowly towards yourself and Kohaku, and the sense of panic filled you. ‘Why am I scared? Why do I want to run?’ You thought, as your eyes trailed down to her mirror. Panic filled you and you took a hesitant step back. Kohaku’s grip on you tightened and he looked back at you with a worried look.
“Miss (Y/N)? What’s wrong?” He asked worriedly as he saw the look of fear on your face. ‘I need to run… I need to make great distance.’ Your panic-filled mind thought as you took another step back. “Miss (Y/N)?” Kohaku questioned in worry, his face brightening in realization before he looked back at Kanna. ‘Is she afraid of Kanna?’ He thought as he watched her get closer. ‘No, because if she was she wouldn’t have offered her to walk with us.’ He thought as he examined Kanna. The feeling of you tugging back brought his attention back to you, and he could see your eyes were glued to Kanna, but you weren’t looking at her. He examined you for a bit, before he looked back at Kanna.
‘What is it that’s frightening her?’ He thought in confusion as he eyed Kanna. His eyes suddenly landed on the mirror and he gaped in understanding. ‘The mirror! It’s the mirror that’s making her so scared.’ He thought, as he looked back over at you. Your strength was slightly increasing, making Kohaku dig his heel into the floorboards. ‘Does she remember Kanna’s mirror?’ He thought. He was pulled from them when you gave a sudden strong tuck, and he cried out when he nearly went flying as you took off into a struggled jog, Kohaku’s added weight behind you made you slow, but you couldn’t care less. ‘I have to get away. That mirror is evil.’ You thought as you slightly jogged with a struggling Kohaku.
Kanna stopped her walking when she saw both you and Kohaku walk down the hall and around the corner. She stayed there for a moment, staring at where you both rounded at, before she looked down at her mirror. “Does she remember my mirror? That shouldn’t be possible. Unless it’s a deeply rooted fear.” She said in a soft voice.
Both you and Kohaku walked for a moment before you calmed down, and Kohaku was able to drag you to a stop. You panted in exhaustion as you leaned against the wall. Kohaku stared up at you in worry. “I’m sorry Miss (Y/N). I should’ve just let you walk away and not forced you to stay.” He said in an apologetic voice. You shook your head at his words. “Don’t apologize, Kohaku. You did nothing wrong. I just ran away was all.”
You said as you slowly regained your breath back. ‘Man, I haven’t been this out of breath in a long time.’ You thought tiredly as you focused on breathing. Kohaku stared at you in continued worry. “You should rest, you don’t sound too good.” He said. You smiled over at him, before you stood up straight. “No need, I’m already feeling better, come Kohaku, take me to another place in the castle, will you?” You kindly asked him as you shined him a sweet smile, calming his worries.
He stared at you for a moment before he nodded his head and he smiled back. “Okay, but tell me if you need to rest.” He said. You nodded at his words, and he once more lead you through the castle. Truth be told, you didn’t want to go back to your room just yet, you’ve been in there for days, and seeing the same walls over and over was making you claustrophobic. As you both walked, your mind wandered to Kanna.
‘Her Mirror, there’s something about it that makes it evil, but I can’t remember why. Why can’t I remember?’ You thought in slight annoyance. ‘I’ve been having a really hard time remembering certain things recently. Like Inuyasha’s friend… I can’t remember her name… I can’t even put a face to her. I remember Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, and even Kirara, ... but… I can’t remember the young woman. Why?’ You thought, as worry began to consume you.
‘Something isn’t right, I need to figure out what's happening to me.’ You though in determination as you and Kohaku faded into the darkness of the castle.
Kagura sat in a tree, her eyes like that of a predator as she stared down at Inuyasha and his friends resting around a campfire. It was a half moon tonight, no clouds could be seen in the night sky. She observed them for a moment, thinking of how she should approach them. ‘I want to form an alliance, not a deceleration of war.’ she thought as she calculated how to go about this. ‘Naraku wanted me to taunt Inuyasha about his mother’s whereabouts, but any mention of the woman might set him off wrongly.’ She thought as she tapped her fan lightly against her chin. ‘After all, I’m not even supposed to know of the woman’s existence.’ She thought, her mind racing for ways on how to approach. Her eyes widen in realization, before she smirked. ‘Yes, that shall do just fine.’ She thought smugly as she lowered her fan.
“My, my, my… Inuyasha and his band of heroes. Catching some Z's I see.” She said in a taunting manner. Inuyasha and everyone became on high alert immediately at the sound of her voice. Inuyasha stood in front of the group. ‘Their great protector.’ Kagura thought as she mentally rolled her eyes. ‘Spare me.’ She thought. She was pulled from her thoughts once Inuyasha spoke. “Kagura! The hell are you doing here!?” He asked in a defensive tone. She played her role and she smirked. “Calm down, dog boy, I’m not here for a fight.” She said. He seemed to back down some, and he stared up at her in question. “Then what the hell are you here for? Because I’m pretty sure it's nothing good.” He said in annoyance.
She chuckled at him. “My, don’t you just know me so well.” She taunted. Inuyasha bared his fangs at her, but before he could say anything, Miroku chimed in. “What business is it that you’ve come with today, Kagura? You said that you weren’t here for a fight, so why did you come?” Miroku asked. She smirked down at him. “Ever level-headed, Monk. More level-headed than that oversize mutt.” She said, amusement in her voice. Inuyasha growled at her in annoyance. “You wanna come down here and say that to my face, Kagura!?” He shouted in anger. She snatched her head off. “Please, and let you maul me? No thanks.” She scoffed. Inuyasha ticked with anger, but Miroku held his arm out in front of him, catching Inuyasha’s attention.
“Try not to let her rally you up, she’s just toying with you.” He said in a leveled voice. Inuyasha looked up at her with a heated glare before he huffed and he pushed Miroku’s hand away from him. “She’s not rallying anything up.” He said, but he calmed himself non the less. Kagura frowned in slight displeasure, as she enjoyed toying with Inuyasha, he was always so fun to mess with, but oh well, time for business.
“Hmph, no fun are you, monk. But no matter, I have a proposal to make with you lot.” She said in a serious matter. Everyone looked up at her in shock. “What did she just say?” Kagome asked. “A proposal of some kind.” Sango answered. Inuyasha glared up at her. “What kind of bullcrap are you trying to pull, Kagura?” Inuyasha growled out. She scoffed as she held her chin up at him. “There is no trickery this time. I’m here to ask for an alliance, a truce if you will.” She said.
Miroku spoke up. “If this isn’t a trick, then what kind of alliance is this? What will we get out of it?” He asked. She smirked. “Trust me, you’ll want to join forces with me once you learn of what we’ve captured. Or more like, who.” She said in an alluring tone. Everyone stared at her in confusion. “What are you on about, Kagura?” Miroku asked. She stared down at him with a serious look. “It’s simple really, Naraku has captured someone who he suspects has ties to you all, but I’m going to break her free, and kill Naraku once and for all.” She said as a determined glare came over her face. Everyone stared up at her in confused silence before Inuyasha spoke up. “So let me get this straight. You want us to help you bail this person out, who you claim has some kind of ties to us? Then you want to kill Naruaku? Somethings fishy about this.” Inuyasha said in a skeptical voice.
“Yeah, how can we trust you?” Kagome said. Kagura smirked, she wasn’t swayed by their questions. “Because you lot and I want the same thing. To see Naraku dead. And besides, you’ll have the jewel and you'll get back the woman too.” She said. Shippo jumped up on Kagome’s shoulder. “What woman?” He asked. “Yes, you said we know her.” Sango said.
Kagura leaned back against the tree as she stared at her nails with a faked uninterested in the topic of the woman. “Oh I don’t know, some random lowly half-demoness.” She said. A cold air blew over the group as a heavy silence waved through them all. “A half-demoness?” Miroku asked, dread in his voice. “You guys don’t think.” Kagome said in worry as she looked at Sango. “I hope not.” Sango said in equal worry. Inuyasha’s head was lowered and his shoulders shook, his fangs bared as he clenched his fists.
Everyone looked over at him in worry. “Inuyasha.” Kagome said in worry as she stared at his back. “What’s her name?” He asked in a low growl. Kagura looked down at him with an arched brow. “What was that?” She asked as she tilted her head some, as to act as if she didn’t hear him. He snatched his head up at her, the rage in his eyes causing her to slyly smirk. ‘Gotcha.’ She thought in success. “DON’T FUCK WITH ME, KAGURA!! I ASKED FOR HER DAMN NAME!!!” He shouted in rage as he glared daggers at her. She faked annoyance at his words. “Hmph, all you half-demons are alike. So human, with your sentimentalism.” She scoffed. His glare worsened and she gave under it. She crossed her arms and gave him an uninterested stare as she arched her brow. “From what Naraku told me, he said that her name was (Y/N).” She said.
Everyone’s eyes widen as their fears came true. Inuyasha’s glare loosened up into a shocked expression, as dread filled him replacing his anger. “Oh no, not (Y/N).” Shippo sadly said. “What could Naraku possibly want from her?” Sango asked. Everyone stayed silent for a moment before Inuyasha angrily spoke up. “Isn’t it obvious? He wants her because he’s trying to hurt me. That bastard Naraku. I hate his damn guts!!” Inuyasha yelled as he stared down at the ground in rage.
He was mad at everything right now. He was mad a Kagura for telling him, he was mad at his friends for wanting to leave for the stupid jewel, but most of all… he was angry with himself. He was blaming himself for his mom’s kidnapping. ‘If only I had been more cautious, then maybe… maybe...’ He thought as he wallowed in his self-hatred, but a heavy hand landed on his shoulder and he looked over.
Miroku was staring at him with a look of understanding. “Don’t beat yourself up, Inuyasha. Besides, we’re all angry and hurting for her involvement.” He comfortingly said. Inuyasha stared at him for a moment, before he looked back at his friends. He could see that they all had a mixture of saddness and rage on their faces as they blamed themselves for your safety. He stared at them a little longer before his glare returned and he turned towards Kagura.
He looked up at her with a determined gleam. “Alright Kagura, you got yourself an alliance!” He said. She smirked in victory, but he continued. “But don’t forget, just because we’re working together doesn’t make us a team! Ya got that!?” He said. She rolled her eyes at him. “Oh hush, don’t think so little of me. I wasn’t even expecting a friendship with you lot to begin with. I just want my freedom, and for Naraku to breathe his last miserable breath.” She said with venom in her voice.
“You said that if we freed (Y/N), then it will lead to Naraku’s death. What did you mean by that?” Miroku asked. Everyone looked up at her in question. “Simple. Naraku has obtained possession of the Kusho Pearl, and the only way to wield it, is with the power of the Shikon Jewel.” She explained. Everyone stared up at her in curiosity. “The Kusho Pearl?” Kagome asked. Sango shook her head. “I never hear of it.” She said. Miroku nodded. “Neither have I.” He admitted.
Inuyasha chimed in. “The hell is the Kusho Pearl?” He asked. “The Kusho Pearl is a powerful object. It’s said to harbor a hundred worlds in its black void.” She explained as she took a seat on the branch. Everyone marveled at the words she just spoke. “A hundred worlds?” Sango asked in disbelief. “That’s just as powerful as the Jewel itself.” Kagome said. “What the hell does that have to do with Mom!?” Inuyasha asked impatiently. “It has to do with her greatly.”Kagura said. Kagome spoke up. “What does that mean?” She asked.
“The Kusho Pearl is currently holding some of (Y/N)’s memories, as well as half of her soul.” She explained. Everyone gaped at her words, the air became heavy once more as they stared up at her silently. Kagura continued. “In order for Naraku to use the Kusho Pearl, he needs the power of the jewel to use it. He implanted a fragment of the jewel into her back, allowing him to connect the Kusho Pearl to her being.” Kagura explained. Inuyasha growled. “That Bastard, I’ll rip him to shreds. Messing with Kikyo was one thing, but my Mom is a whole new level.”
Inuyasha spoke in rage as he shook his head. Miroku looked over to Inuyasha for a moment before he looked back up at her. “How is freeing (Y/N) going to put an end to Naraku?” He asked. Kagura smirked. “Because without the shard in her back, Naraku will no longer have the proper connection to control the Kusho Pearl. Once we free her from Naraku’s grasp, the Kusho Pearl will turn on Naraku, sucking him into its inky depths as payment for trying to wield it.” She explained.
Everyone’s eyes widen at her words. “So in other words, Naraku has no real power over the Pearl, it has power over him?” Sango asked. Kagura’s smirk widens. “Bingo. The Kusho Pearl will kill Naraku, once the shard from (Y/N)’s back is removed.” She explained. Shippo chimed in. “Meaning that Naraku has no control over what the Kusho Pearl will absorb!!” He said. Everyone looked back at Shippo with a shocked face. He looked bewildered at everyone. “What?” He sheepishly yet confusingly asked.
Kagura stared down at him with a bemused look before she smirked once more as she closed her eyes in satisfaction. “I couldn’t have said it better myself.” She said before she stood up on the branch. Inuyasha looked up at her. “Where are you going, Kagura?” He asked. She looked over at him. “Where do you think? I’m going back to the castle. If I remain out for too long then Naraku will become suspicious.” She said in an annoyed voice.
Inuyasha glared at her, but he didn’t say anything else. With all of their silence, she took this as her time to leave. She snapped her fan open. “Oh, and one more thing.” She suddenly said. Everyone looked at her with expectancy. “The only one who can touch the Kusho Pearl is Kagome, so once Naraku is sealed within the Kusho Pearl it’ll be up to you to destroy it.” She said. Kagome’s eyes widen in slight panic. “But How am I supposed to break it?” She asked. Kagura shrugged. “Beats me, just do it how you broke the jewel.” She said carelessly before with an elegant swing of her arm she was surrounded by wind. Her voice however rang out through it. “I’ll be waiting for you lot at the castle, follow the scent of Oak Tress and Miasma.” She said before she completely vanished.
Everyone stared at the place where she was last seen before they were all pulled from their thoughts at Inuyasha. “Damn you, Naraku.” He said in a soft voice as he clenched his fists to his side. They all stared at him in worry, as they thought over what Kagura said.
✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩ͯ•͙͙✧⃝•͙͙✩ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ
Deep in the forest, not too far from where Inuyasha and his friends are camping for the night at, stood Sesshomaru. He was looking up at the half-moon, a thoughtless look on his face as he seemed to just bask in the light of the moon. Rin, Jaken, and A-Un were nowhere in sight, but they were at a camp not too far away. The wind blew by, and Sesshomaru looked over to his left. He watched as a tornado formed and the scent of Naraku filled the air. His eyes slightly narrowed but not with a threat. The tornado broke and Kagura was seen kneeling. ‘I have a bit more time to be out here, I might as well use it to try and convince Sesshomaru to aid me.’ She thought as she observed him.
He stared at her for a bit longer before he turned towards her. “What is it that you’ve come to bother this Sesshomaru with this time, Kagura?” He asked, his tone holding no expression, but she knew he was curious. She stood up straight, before she smirked. “I’m here for a proposal for you, Sesshomaru.” She said. He stared at her in silence and she continued. “I want to form an alliance with you, to kill Naraku once and for all.” She said in an alluring tune.
He didn’t react to her words, but he did ask. “And what proposal have you come with? For this Sesshomaru needs no alliance to slay Naraku.” He arrogantly said with disinterest. She wasn’t deterred by his words, and he seemed to notice this. She gave him a relaxed smirk. “Don't worry, I won’t be helping you to kill Naraku, you’ll have the honors to do that, alone. No, what I came with, will be even more alluring to your interest.” She said.
His brow twitched, and her smirk widen some. “Naraku has captured a woman, whom has quite the connection to you, and with her rescue, you shall be able to slay Naraku once and for all.” She said. He stared at her for a moment before he scoffed. “No woman means any importance to me.” Kagura wasn't bothered by his answer, and it showed as she never lost her smirk.
This caused Sesshomaru to be slightly irked, but he remained passive. “I have no time for your silly schemes, Kagura. Leave now, before I slay you.” He said as he turned back to where his companions lay, ready to walk away. But Kagura chuckled “Oh, I’d second think that thought, Sesshomaru, this certain Half-Demoness has quite the tie to you.” She said, expressing the word ‘Half-Demoness’. He stopped in his track, his eyes widen and he turned to look at her.
“Half-Demoness, you say?” He asked with intrest. Kagura’s eyes gleamed in the moonlight as she smirked mischievously. ‘Gotcha.’ She thought in triumph.
✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩ͯ•͙͙✧⃝•͙͙✩ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ
Kagura walked through the dark halls of the castle, her face was expressionless as she stared ahead of herself. ‘Sesshomaru will come when Inuyasha does, however, If he comes before Inuyasha does, then Naraku will immediately know of my betrayal.’ She thought as she walked. She stopped and took a look of shock when she saw Kohaku exit Naraku’s room. She watched him with a thoughtful look. ‘I would tell Kohaku of what I’ve done today, but Naraku has a tight grasp on Kohaku, and he’ll make him spill the beans. I can’t risk it. Until then, I’ll keep my endeavors to myself.’ She thought before she walked towards Naraku’s door.
She tapped on the wood with her fan, and she listened for his voice. “Come, Kagura.” He said. She opened the door, and her eyes widen when they landed on him. Naraku had you on his lap, your legs spread around his waist. Your back was facing her as your head rested on his shoulder. ‘What’s going on? Why is she practically naked?’ She thought in confusion as she observed your slanted figure. Your white kimono was pooled around your waist, your arms dangled lifeless to your sides and your eyes seemed dull and lifeless as you stared at the wall. “Close the door, Kagura.” Naraku ordered as he picked up a shard of the jewel. She obeyed without question as she watched him. “Do you know what I am doing, Kagura?” He asked, his smirk widening. She answered him in a monotone voice. “No, I don’t.” She answered honestly.
He clenched the fragment in his palm, making it pierce his hand. The blood coated the shard and a red aura shined from his hand. Kagura’s eyes widen. ‘He’s not going to do her like Kohaku? Is he?’ Kagura thought in shock, before she covered her mouth with her closed fan. ‘If so, then we may have an issue.’ She thought with slight worry. “Does this worry you, Kagura?” Naraku asked. Kagura’s blood ran cold, before she cursed herself. “No, not at all. I’m just confused about why you’re doing this.” She answered half honestly. Naraku hummed at her words before he opened his palm, revealing a red shard. Kagura stared on. ‘It’s red.’ She thought. “The shard is this color because I didn’t pump evil intentions into this shard, rather I pumped a rather annoying human emotion into it.” Naraku explained. She looked up at him with confusion.
“A human emotion?” She asked. He moved the shard to your back, pushing the shard into the skin of your back. Your arms twitched from the pain, but you made no sound or expression. “Onigumo’s heart beats love for Kikyo, it’s the strongest emotion within his heart. So I decided to take that nauseating emotion, and put it to good use.” He explained as he moved his hand back from your back. The skin healed and the red aura from the shard spread throughout your body. Kagura watched silently as the aura consumed you slowly.
Naraku continued to speak. “Since Onigumo’s love is so potent, I’d figured that I’d put that into her, making her undying loyal to me.” He said, a victorious gleam in his eyes as he watched the aura slowly disappear. Kagura’s eyes widen in realization. “You mean to tell me, that you made her fall in love with you?” She asked. He smirked as he looked up at her. “Precisely.” He said. “She will slowly fall in love with me, making her undoubtedly loyal to me and to me alone. She’ll crave my company, making her stay close to me no matter what.” He explained. Kagura’s eyes widen, but she controlled herself before panic could fill her.
‘Damn, what the hell made him change his original plan? Does he know that I’ve alerted the others?’ She thought as she studied him. ‘No, if he did, then he would’ve already threatened me by now… so what caused the sudden switch up?’ She asked herself. She was pulled from her racing mind when she saw a dark purple aura to her left. She looked over and she grew shocked. The Kusho Pearl was glowing. ‘What’s going on? Is it reacting to the extra shard?’ She thought. The sound of your grunting brought her attention to you and she stared at you with a curious gleam.
You seemed to be in pain as you slightly squirmed in his lap. ‘What’s happening?’ She thought. “The Kusho Pearl is giving her fake memories, while it takes hers for payment.” Naraku explained as he stared down at you with a curious yet uncaring stare. Kagura stared in shock. ‘Fake memories?’ Her eyes widen in understanding. ‘Is he doing this because of The Kusho Pearl’s behavior towards her? Is that why he suddenly changed plans?’ She thought, as she tried not to let annoyance slip into her.
Your squirming stopped, and your lifeless eyes slowly closed, and you breathed a sigh of relief as you fell asleep. Naraku smirked in triumph. “Now, to wait and see what happens when she awakens.” He said. Kagura glared at him. ‘Damn you, Naraku.’ She thought. Naraku chuckled before he looked up at Kagura making her gasp. “Now tell me, kagura, how did Inuyasha take the news of his beloved mother being my romantic partner?” He asked in a taunting matter before he evilly chuckled. Kagura glared at him with hatred.
You softly smiled to yourself as you snuggled into Naraku’s chest, happiness seeming to consume you as you slept peacefully.
Inuyasha X Priestess! Reader
So in this I'm exaggerating Kagome's behavior in this, I do ship Kagome with Inuyasha. Occasionally with Koga, but mostly because I find Ayame somewhat annoying personally. I could rant about it but for the Ayame fans I'm not going to, like I don't hate her but I did want to see her humbled a bit so that she'd pull back her obsessive behavior just a bit.
Tumblr media
(Y/n) sighed as she walked with the group of misfits she called friends, the 18-year-old had been a reincarnation similar to Kagome. Only (Y/n) was a healer, and rather than a well she had fallen through the floor of an old shrine high up in the mountain. The bicolor haired girl had hated her life in her era, her life having been less than ideal. With her hair being 2 colors, (H/C1) on the left and (H/C2) on the right. It often drew unwanted attention, what made it worse was her dual-colored eyes. (E/C1) on the left and (E/C2) on the right. She had always been teased by the younger generation and out casted, the older generation treated he as if she was ill or a demon. So, she had ran away at the age of 16, the dual toned girl going high into the mountains when a storm hit. She took shelter in a shrine but fell through a large hole, even if she wanted to go back through the shrine she couldn't as the one in the feudal era had been destroyed by Naraku.
She has passed through the well before to go get Kagome, and she was able to do so through the sheer power of her soul unlike Kagome who needed at least a shard of the jewel. But she usually preferred staying behind with Inuyasha and the others, she had gotten the garb of a priestess from a priestess in the village at the base of the mountain when she came stumbling down bruised and dirty from the fall and the subsequent wandering around the mountainside the shrine had been on, on day one of being there. Deciding that she wanted to try and at least blend in a little, plus the outfit was rather comfortable. She had spent a lot of time with Inuyasha as of late, he and Kagome had been fighting a lot recently and most of her anger was unreasonable in (Y/n)'s eyes. She and the half demon had grown close, both able to understand each other's pain. (Y/n) also understood how fresh his grief and heart break was, in his mind it had only been at most a few months since he was "betrayed". He had truly loved Kikyo, the pain of their fight worsened by learning the truth behind that day and Kikyo's resurrection. Kagome's pressure only making things worse for Inuyasha, it was as if the girl thought they had an unspoken relationship.
When the group finally made it to Kaede's village, she watched Kagome ride with Sango and Miroku on Kirara's back towards the well. Leaving her to walk with Inuyasha to Kaede's hut. "Hey (Y/n), come with me." Inuyasha began walking towards the woods, the girl quietly following as she figured he wanted to talk about his fight with Kagome. She always had to try and explain things to him, what made it hard was a lot of Kagome's actions could be immature and hard to rationalize to the male. So, after the attempt to explain things is made the two usually said screw it and just had a drink, it being the feudal era no one cared as she was considered plenty old enough.
So, the girl had no problem dipping into the barrel, Inuyasha didn't care one way or the other. They got to their usual spot by the river, Inuyasha moving a rock to reveal a small barrel of sake and 2 cups hidden beneath it in a hole. She could tell by the look on his face that he was in deep thought, so she remained silent and went to her place by the river. It was a large smooth rock, where she would be able to dangle her feet over the edge and her toes would barely touch the water. Not being a true priestess, she was not bound by their rules, really it was just a guise she used. Her abilities were similar to that of a priestess, so it was really the best option to keep people from questioning her.
She lowered her feet into the water, closing her eyes and listening as Inuyasha moved beside her and set the small barrel between them. "So, what did you want to talk about?" She spoke softly and dipped her small sake glass into the barrel, Inuyasha had stayed quiet as he slowly sipped down his glass. "Kagome has just been driving me crazy, I'm starting to think her looking like Kikyo may have been the only thing that truly brought me to her. I was still grieving for Kikyo, and Kagome was someone I had to be around because she broke the sacred jewel, and she could sense it... I think I only loved her out of necessity and heartache, but now that everything's over though..."
He stared deeply at the water, (Y/n) quietly listening to him as she nodded. "It's understandable, somethings aren't meant to be. I mean you two aren't even actually together, you've just done this weird crap since the beginning." She sipped her drink as Inuyasha nodded, sipping at his own before he looked at her. "You know, I don't think I've ever seen you take an interest in anyone since you joined us." Now that made her cheeks heat up, she was quick to down her drink and refill. "There was one guy, but he never once looked at me the way I did him... But he has girl troubles of his own even without me." She hadn't been lying, she had always had an interest in him but between Kikyo and Kagome she never felt there would be room for her in his heart. She knew a part of him at least cared deeply for Kagome, after all she had helped him move on from Kikyo and helped to soften his rough personality.
"I see... It must be painful loving someone who doesn't return it... At first when Kikyo was resurrected, she hated me, it tore me up cause I loved her so much. I guess that's why your smile hasn't been the same for a while... Right?" His words took her by surprise, she never realized anyone had noticed. (Y/n) hadn't been herself for a while, she hated watching Inuyasha and Kagome fight only for him to seek her out for comfort and return to Kagome the moment she was willing to let him back in. With a sigh she chugged down her drink, her cheeks now red from alcohol rather than embarrassment. "Yeah... I just... I love him a lot but... I'm not even sure if I'm really his friend or someone he uses to soothe himself when he's hurt... " Her chest tightened as her eyes welled with tears, she could feel his golden orbs locked on her form.
"Is it Koga!? Just say the word and kill that mangey flea bag!" She was shocked by his words, her small hands wiping her tears away as she shook her head. "No but it's fine, it doesn't matter I'l-" Her sentence was cut short as Inuyasha pinned her down, hands on either side of her head. His claws dug into the dirt as he stared down at her in an intense gaze, anger on his features. "Don't you dare say that! It does matter! He's hurting you and I won't let that happen! I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, you hear me!?" His reddened face was inches from hers, the temptation was so overwhelming that before she knew it her lips were attached to his. He was quick to return the kiss, he was harsh and feverish. The kiss deepening as little fingers tangled in snow white hair, when the kiss broke, they were left breathless, and the half demon rested his forehead against hers.
"I love you (Y/n), for so long I tried to learn to love Kagome, but it always felt like I was with her cause I had to be... But then you came a long and I couldn't help but to love you from the start. That's why it matters, because you matter." The girl felt her heart swell as she kissed him once more, neither noticing the schoolgirl quietly walking away from the scene.
The Hanyou Of Kenchoji Shrine Chapter Five is now LIVE!
Dedicated to my amazing friend @chit-a-to for always being so excited about anything I write.💕
Summary:
Kagome clutched Inuyasha’s shirt tight, relishing in his arms as tears threatened to fall. She couldn’t stop trembling, her body shaking as her mind raced with a million thoughts. Naraku really wanted her dead and she finally began to realize the consequences of her actions. He would let the entire country burn if it meant finding her. I made it, I made it.
BUDDY I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN A WHILE BUT SESSRIN ANTIS ARE ATTACKING ME FOR A POST I MADE!!!!!
Hi, it's been a long time. How are you xD?
Which post???
Wait a minute... O.o if it's SessRin, it's usually some sort of pedo allegations or something. Or you know .. the ol' ship war.. usually vs SessKagu or KohakuRin. No offense to them, all ships are valid and all fiction is just fiction after all.
Actually, I haven't been very invested in Inuyasha since 2010(?) when this blog was a InuKag, Inukik, and Narkik blog . but let me write a defend post for them since many attacks towards SessRin are from salty purists who cannot differentiate fiction from reality. And
I understand that reading comprehension has been very poor in the west, ppl keep bringing modern human moral standard to a story where the setting takes place in the feudal era or the fantasy era where many other races besides human exist soo...
Let the SessRin haters know that Sesshomaru is literally a dog demon so not only modern moral standards do not apply to him, it also does not exist because in feudal Japan, peasants usually marry as young as 16 y.o. (and Yashahime confirmed she marries him when she's an adult)
(don't get me talking about father-daughter relationship, grooming accusations and power balance because none of them are true at all. Especially when Sesshomaru never fed Rin, he told her to look food for herself. Parental figure PROVIDE basic needs for their child. Sesshomaru did not. They are just travelling companions who happened to saved each other before.)
Roasting SessRin over pedo debate is also useless because by the same logic, almost all Inuyasha ships are minor x adult , including InuKag, Inukik, Narkik , SessKago and even SessKagura (Inuyasha is 15 yo mentally but physically he is 150 yo. Anyway, Inuyasha is also a demon, modern moral does not apply to them)
(Inuyasha's age is confirmed in Inuyasha the Movie 3 where he was born in 1347. Sengoku-jidai aka the Japan warring period is the 15th century, 1543-1553)
Yes you did not read that wrong. Kagura is YOUNGER than Rin, literally! Kagura was created as Naraku's second incarnation AFTER Naraku gained the shikon no tama shards, which was originally in Kagome's body. Naraku waited 50 years after Kikyo's death for this power. So, Kagura is a one year old baby
Unironically InuKag InuKik and SessKagu and the rest are still valid ships despite the pedo-element because this is a story about demons who live in fantasy feudal era. And the most important point is, this is just a cartoon , no actual child or human is involved lmao
