I love the idea of Mapleshade being StarrClan's scuzziest defense lawyer because she just tells the cc ouncil what they want to hear lmao.

when i started shipping it: i figured out it was an OTP around episode seven (the boiler room hug got me) but i know in my heart of hearts it became a problem for me around episode two during THAT scene and i just didn't catch on

my thoughts: literally they're perfect for each other. they're star-crossed romance done so well, they're everything one could want from a dramatic mildly toxic yet ultimately loving pairing, and they've ruined my life!!!

what makes me happy about them: first off, the chemistry. secondly, the softness of the back half of the show with both of them. third, pretty much everything else.

what makes me sad about them: ángel, my buddy, did you have to cheat? also i'd like to see more of them, so netflix will be hearing from my lawyer

things done in fanfic that annoy me: honestly ramiroángel shippers write amazing fic so there's very little that bothers me. however, if im reading an 1899 fic in general that has ramiro in it and you can tell the author doesn't respect him as a character, i will make a face at the screen

things i look for in a fanfic: tbh if it is tagged ramiroángel ill click. im not picky, and im lucky that the rest of the hivemind writes exquisite fics!

who i'd be comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other: my lawyers have advised me not to answer this question :) no one this is a one and done ship for me

What were your mixed feelings on the tkam play?

there were some moments where i felt like they didn't do atticus's character justice

bc as far as i remember (and i did read this part in the book after seeing the show) atticus takes the case to defend tom robinson bc he knows it's the right thing to do and he says if he doesn't defend him then he wouldn't be able to hold his head up in town or serve as any moral compass for his own kids. he says that even though there's no chance of winning, they still need to fight.

in the play the judge really has to convince him to take the case (which--fair. in the play they say that atticus isn't a criminal lawyer and they make a joke that he's actually bad at it(??)) and then he says to tom robinson's face that he didn't want to take the case. to be fair, atticus in the book does say that he wished he would never have to take a case like that one.

idk i feel like that's just the most important part of his character. like he knows what the outcome of the case is going to be, but he still knows that tom robinson deserves to be defended and all that jazz

they also left out some crucial parts imo. they left out the mad dog scene and replaced it with a scene where atticus starts to beat up bob ewell--which doesn't really deliver the same imo and was sort of weird. my favorite line of the book is when atticus says, after tom robinson dies, "he was tired of white man's chances and decided to take his own." it's like. really powerful imo. the movie also left it out, and I'm always sad it doesn't get more attention.

but!!! there were also really good parts of it!! some of the show was really funny. there were really good jokes. i think the comedic timing may have been a little inappropriate at times, but the added comedy to it was really good. atticus was a little looser than he comes across in the book.

they also draw out some of atticus's flaws a bit. like they kinda do confront the whole white savior thing. cal calls him out on some stuff which is good (altho tbh i have even more mixed feelings about her character but i won't go into it). overall, i really liked what they did with her and atticus's relationship.

but also idk the whole pacing of the show felt off. they go back and forth between the court room and then everything happening before that for the first act and part of act two. imo what made the court scene so tense in the book is that there's so much build up to it. you see how the town talks about atticus and tom robinson, and it really sets it all up for what's about to happen.

there was also a weird line they added and it was "all rise" and they say it over and over in act 1 and it's like. supposed to be this big impactful metaphor but 1) they explain the metaphor so it kinda looses something there and 2) it just felt like a line that was put in there so it could be put on a t-shirt and sold in the theater lobby

but it was very good don't get me wrong!! I'm just very pretentious and tkam is one of my favorite books

i just have my own ideas on how you could make tkam a stage play, and none of those ideas lined up with this one.

tbh i don't even understand how he was hoping to get away with pleading not guilty. i mean he obviously hadn't told his lawyer everything because there's no way in hell he would be getting away with it. like he's the one who called the ambulance so that's easy evidence that he was there, and he was breaking his bail to be there so it would immediately swing in her favour whether they could prove he actually threw her through the doors or not. not to mention the fact that french doors aren't so fragile that you could just accidentally fall through them, and he told iain and ruby at the time that they were arguing before she "fell".

the kid gets used to how big the von hagen estate is and it's their "normal", so when they went on a playdate once with a friend in preschool or kindergarten they went "why is your house so small 😐" and rosa had to immediately put her hand over their mouth like 😁 "sorry about that" while marius holds back a laugh

marius was a headache to deal with before and while they were dating. to put it very kindly, he's more mature now, but rosa's faced with their child- who is pretty much a carbon copy of the pax ceo. a mini marius.

marirosa's child has rosa's softer features and her eyes, but they have marius' hair colour. it's sometimes frightening to see the cheeky devilish smile which you're used to seeing on marius' face

artem and rosa, of course, are really busy as lawyers, as themis' popularity grew (as well as their own) and the cases piled. but they will always find time to spend with each other and their child.

as a child, artem's parents were barely there for him when he needed them, so he is determined to not be like that. he doesn't want his child to feel the same emotional gap he felt with his own parents. even though he is closer with his parents now, he wants his child to experience better than he had.

their ability to intimidate is actually from watching old clips of rosa’s court appearances and when watching rosa banter with marius

rosa has to admit that it can get a little bit unsettling when she sees her child just glowering in the corner because of some disagreement with a friend

she,, tries to discourage this behaviour as much as possible,,,,

then one day their child tells them that they have an s/o

rosa’s like “aww they’ve found someone! i’m so proud” but vyn’s immediately suspicious (though you really can’t tell unless you look carefully at his eyes)

when he meets his child's s/o for the first time he's probably going to make them feel somewhat awkward or uncomfortable because of his attention being on them.

he makes light conversation, asking for their interests and hobbies, etc but—

he’s actually sitting there and he’s fuckin psychoanalysing them... mentally noting on their habits, body language, their "micro-expressions", etc— mans is scary...

will probably find some dirt on the s/o somehow. you know. just in case they're actually a bad person or if the relationship doesn't work... he can make their reputation go up in flames!

when he’s done with all of these tests he’ll finally warm up to them more.

it might be hard for the s/o at first because they felt that mr. richter was just really elegant and perfect and smart, so they try to act as proper as they can around him and are really polite— it takes a while for them to be more casual 😭

Kazimir x Hawks ( Romantically / Platonically) : @animaaerius​ I have the lovely Lumos to thank for this beautiful bird and angel ship. Honestly I think it started out as Kazimir being curious about Hawks, since it seems like those with wings are rare to come by? And it grew to friendship, one where they could chat with each other and discuss their wings and even groom each other and then it eventually became a ship. I love their dynamic since Hawks is so easy going ( at least he tries or appears to be ) and then you have the over serious Kaz. Then you have the added complication that Kaz acts like a vigilante at times and you have him drawing the attention of a hero and it makes it all the more interesting. I love birb friends. 

Kazimir x Dabi ( Enemies to Lovers :3 ) :  OOF A BIG FAV OF MINE. I haven’t been able to ship this since.... oof I think I first created Kazimir? But it is one that I still love and secretly hope for. Kaz h a t e s villains or those he deems unworthy and in a verse for this to happen, one thing leads to another and he ends up joining the league of villains as their “healer / doctor.” He HATES Dabi. But as they spend more time together and antagonize each other, they end up sleeping together. It’s a ship that completely pushes Kaz’s boundaries and that is what I love about it? He likes to act as if he isn’t interested in Dabi and that’s another thing that I love to explore with him. Kaz is someone with morals, albeit somewhat grey ones and falling into a ship with Dabi, someone I think we can all agree is twisted due to his past makes the dynamic something that is always fun to explore. Mind you this could happen just as easily as Enemies to Unlikely Friends and I’m all for it. 

Kazimir x Ryukyu ( Romantically ) : Something Birb ( @errantinfinity​ )  and I discussed a while back, again closer to when I first created him, but moving forward. Once again, I love pairing off Kaz with heroes, he’s morally grey and does things he deems “ right “ but by normal standards are not. He plays god a little bit, even if he means well. It adds unknown tension between him and Ryukyu, but ultimately I love the idea of 1) Ryuko having someone 2)  Kaz possibly realizing the error of his ways and 3) at least by Birb’s Ryuko’s standards, someone eventually to open up to who will love her wholeheartedly ( if you don’t know Birb’s backstory for her, let me tell you, it is very sad and she deserves all the love in the world ) . ASDFGH anyways I love them and need to send more stuff to Birb from Kaz. 

Kazimir x Zach ( ZachKaz? AngelSiren? I FORGET) : @seiirenes​ this one here OOF. Kaz and a villain :clap: a ship we just started to dub as Hades and Persephone. Kaz loves to hate ( and love) one Siren. I honestly forget the complete dynamics or how they met and how things completely got off the ground but... Zachariah and Kazimir end up falling for each other despite their differences, both in personality and alliances and it makes for a fun time plotting. ( Eventually they get married too GASP)  Regardless of the details, Zach grew on Kaz and even if he is loathe to admit it, he loves the Siren deeply and wants nothing but the best for him, even if he has to get after him from time to time. Another example of  me loving to place my muses with their opposites. Angel and Demon, Dubiously Morally Straight Vigilante with a Morally Grey Villain, etc etc. I don’t know but I love all dynamics for them, or verses. It’s too good to pass up. 

Kazimir x Overhaul ( Leader/ Platonic / Toxic Romantic ) : Honestly... I can’t say anything other than that I love toxic ships and the thought of the angel being dragged in by a demon, cough Overhaul, and convinced of his world view. There was a time when I desperately wanted to write a verse where Kaz was a part of the yakuza, but I never got around to it. It always made me think about how disgusted Kai would be by his clear mutation of a quirk, but even Kai wouldn’t be able to overlook the possibilities of his quirk. Kaz could easily take over all the healing for Overhaul, aka less touching, plus with the medical knowledge he has, he’d be able to help him as well. Though Kaz would never agree to harming Eri, regardless it was a ship I’ve always wanted to explore but never got the chance outside of my head. 

Harper x Kazimir ( @mckiingbiird​ ) : This is one I’m still exploring and learning about but I love the idea of a civilian and a lawyer at that with Kazimir ( someone who was studying to be a doctor) and once again could be described as morally grey due to his extreme views. Honestly I love Aspie for suggesting this because YES, OC x OC. And Harper is an absolute delight, cutie and badass and probably one of the more normal ships for Kaz. Someone he can understand far easier than any of the villains and heroes I keep tossing at him LMAO. But again, they seem so cute together and I;m really excited to explore the two of them dating and getting to know one another as well as dating one another because Kaz can finally genuinely like someone with worrying about his morals right away or being stopped by his beliefs. 

ANYWAYS. I have a few others, but that is it for now.  This is mainly BNHA, but tbh one ship that was teased with me was Kazimir x Chuuya and I still think about it from time to time. Angel with a literal God? He’d be questioning his very existence.

This episode starts with Caleb and I don’t totally hate it. This means the writers are doing a good job with him so far. I’m surprised I feel that way considering I loathe the plot he’s here for. 

This is the first case heavy episode in ages and I have more thoughts on the fact that somehow the space from 6x19 has become military court than I do on the case. As always, that’s not to say it’s bad (tbh, this case was the exact right blend of simple and captivating it reminded me of old school TGW). It’s just to say I have literally nothing to add.

Lucca’s off to visit Bianca. She is still extremely uncomfortable with very wealthy people. 

Oh, a mention of babysitting! Kind of sad I’m surprised. 

I forgot to mention that this ep is on the shorter side, almost network length. Woo! 

Lucca describes her life as “I have a toddler. I’m trying to make partner.” Remember how last season either Lucca or Rosalyn (or MAIA hhahahahhahahaahahhahaahahahhahahahaahahhaahhaah) were going to be made partner and that plot just vanished?

Lucca says that of work, family, fitness, friends, and sleep, the three she’s chosen are work, family, and sleep. I believe it. Though we’ve seen Lucca exercise probably more than most TGF characters? But that was before she had a baby. 

If you leave your phone on while you’re on a plane and someone places a voice call would your phone actually ring? 

Marissa TOTALLY has a crush on Caleb.

Oh, a Francesca mention AND a mention of Lucca and Marissa being friends?! The continuity fairy likes me today!!!!!!!! 

Caleb threatens to quit (I think he knows he wouldn’t be taken up on that offer) unless Mr. Firth lets him take a month for this case. Come on, Caleb. This is TV lawyering. This case will take two costume changes and you know it! Months are a thing for real lawyers. 

Diane and Adrian aren’t in their offices, so when Firth finds a partner to assist on the military case (I do not understand why this is a thing he is doing in the first place, but alright), it’s Liz. How conveniently awkward!

(Adrian just isn’t in this episode-- he is apparently at a conference in New York-- and Diane is barely in it, and I’m fine with that. LET LIZ AND LUCCA SHINE!) 

(Liz and Lucca are my faves, if that wasn’t obvious.) 

Awkward awkward awkward, fucking your boss is very awkward. I hate everything about this plot in theory and yet somehow like Liz, Caleb, and maybe even the idea of Liz and Caleb, but every time I think about the boss/employee dynamic my only thought is: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do really like Caleb. 

I somehow almost turned that last thought into a rant about Maia and I’m not gonna do that to y’all in this Maia-free season.

Rich people are getting away with more shit in Julius’s court. He’s resigned to it, until he meets his alter-ego from the play again. I get that they want to use this device to show why he’d change his mind so suddenly but omfg please don’t remind me of the last episode. 

My first thought was “maybe that long ass episode was even longer and this is a cut scene” but Julius seems to be wearing a different tie in this scene than he was before. Oof.

JUDGE KUHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Judge Kuhn. I think I said this last week but it isn’t often we get truly good, considered characters who want the best and actually take fair steps to see it happen. Judge Kuhn is great. 

And so is the actress playing her. Her expression as the seat shrinks-- which is some Kingsian bullshit-- makes the joke work. 

This episode relies a lot on that device Jane the Virgin loved where back to back scenes will be linked by a theme or a word. In this case, Julius and Liz/Caleb are both dealing with continuances. Yay for structure, even a simple case related structure!

“A sofa would have blown up here”... I can’t, y’all. “A conference table would have blown up here”. Is this a joke about coronavirus or a real need for more graphics or both? I lean towards it being a joke, but before I say that lemme play these credits side by side with last week’s… 

Okay so there are differences. Last week there was an aerial view of a wine bottle exploding while this week there’s a second one in the background. They replaced an exploding coffee set with the sofa text. There are some other differences too. But not enough to convince me they didn’t have footage they could have used. So I think it’s a joke.

Welcome back, season two Diane. I missed you, ya weirdo! 

(But like actually Diane is staring out the window at a bird, not doing anything or responding to questions. Why so weird?!)

Now that Diane isn’t hunting down answers on 618, she has “nothing to do.” Oh, suddenly no one in the world is in need of pro-bono assistance? Sure! 

Continuity on the SWATting, too! 

AND A WILL REFERENCE.This episode may be nothing special but it sure is endearing. 

Diane explains that Judge Kuhn is tough but fair and Will ended up liking her. That’s a pretty good summary.

Diane spots the woman who she dreamed was Weinstein’s lawyer in a meeting, drawing dots. Guess that’s one of the drawbacks of having windows everywhere. She chases her up the stairs to STRL and asks if they know each other because, and I quote, “I had a dream and you were in it. You were Weinstein’s lawyer.” HOW FUCKING WEIRD ARE YOU TRYING TO BE, DIANE? Are you microdosing again?! (This feels so season two.)

Props to this lady (do we know her name? Has it been said on the show) for taking that weird-ass comment in stride and joking she probably didn’t do very well. She needs a favor-- she has a case in front of Judge Cain and wants Diane to sit with her.

Diane asks about the dots. Apparently this lady draws-- and counts!-- dots. Hundreds of thousands of them. During meetings. Because it’s calming and nothing matters. See?! Season two! 

Lucca does get a little bit of work to do on vacation-- Bianca wants to buy the resort.

Case stuff happens.

Someone explain to me what the fuck this bright neon lighting in the office late at night is all about. Why is it so bright?! Why do the colors change!? Am I just supposed to accept this?! I suppose it’s no weirder than a woman who draws dots instead of taking notes-- and admits to it-- but WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

I know there is supposed to be some sort of parallel between the case having an element about disobeying your superior and the Liz/Caleb dynamic, but as you will recall, I hate everything about the boss/employee plot AND find it incredibly boring so if you would like to see analysis of that parallel… I’m not your gal. 

Oh look I can see the office bathroom of Willicia sexytimes in Liz’s office

My god this lighting is distracting. 

It sounds to me like Caleb is in the legal field for idealistic reasons. I can’t get a sense of if wanting the country to stay the same is liberal or conservative or admirable or misguided but it’s definitely something. (I have a feeling he means “stay the same” as in “return to 2016” though.) 

Since she has not been in the military, Liz worries out loud that she hasn’t lived much of a life. This leads to flirting and intimacy and another hookup. Bleh.

Creeper from Kurt’s office comes to visit Julius and compliments him while basically telling him to keep quiet and be corrupt. He promises Julius the chance to move up the ladder and implies Julius should rule in favor of some rich donor. 

Julius, who, like all characters on this show and maybe just people in general, does NOT like being told what to do, promptly does the opposite. And he feels really, really, really good about doing the right thing. 

Case stuff happens.

Lucca now gets invited to play poker with a bunch of millionaires and celebrities. Lucca is highly uncomfortable. The names of the celebs are bleeped which is… not as clever as I think it was meant to be.

Also I’d be uncomfortable in this situation too. I’m just ready for this plotline to go somewhere beyond “Lucca is uncomfortable with rich people”.

Recapping goes fast when most of the show is case stuff.

In another throwback, Diane (lit by the weird lighting) is watching what looks like a parody of SNL allowing 45 to host? Or maybe it’s just some unfunny bit that goes on too long? Odd target for a parody at this point in time.

Whatever the point, it prompts Diane to start drawing dots of her own. 

Lucca’s luck at the poker game is fantastic. Bianca encourages Lucca to keep her winnings-- she wouldn’t give back a stuffed animal or goldfish won with someone else’s money at a carnival, would she? 

Case stuff, now involving 45, happens. This is a missing season two episode, I swear. 

Wow lol those establishing shots and stock footage do NOT convince me that Lucca lives in Chicago. Nor do they convince me that anyone involved with the show has visited Chicago.

Case stuff happens! 

Another Lucca and Marissa scene! Lucca asks what to do about her poker winnings. Marissa says Lucca should keep the money because Bianca doesn’t need it-- get Bianca a gift if she feels guilty. 

Diane sits next to the seemingly nameless lawyer and they compare their dots. Unfortunately for Diane, the case she’s decided to sit in on as a favor? It’s another case in front of Julius, and it also gets 618’d. How convenient for the plot! When Julius doesn’t go for it, Diane is intrigued and reenergized. She boldly goes to Julius’s chambers to suggest trading info about 618.

No matter how many times I write “618” in the context of Memo 618 I still think 618 = Loser Edit. 

Case stuff happens! It’s good for Caleb and Liz! 

MALCOLM GETS MENTIONED BY NAME! CONTINUITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Caleb and Liz continue the tradition of using meals as code for sex and now I have to watch them kiss. Pass.

Lucca gets Bianca a gift of a goldfish and a giant stuffed bear (a reference to their earlier convo about carnivals). Cute, but I still don’t quite get where this plot is going.

There’s a “Skye and Moon” logo on the plane. I wonder if that is the name of Bianca’s cosmetics empire.

Oh, it’s over. This episode was perfectly fine. Nothing challenging, nothing innovative, but a solid and enjoyable outing closer in length to the average TGW ep than the average TGF one. After last week’s long-ass episode, this is really all I wanted/needed.

Yes, Hello. Hi. Well, the main reason was why I deleted my DA account was because I haven’t used it for in...3-5 years. So, I didn’t really saw any point to keep it. Another reason was that in my past I used to draw anthros and well...2 years ago it just stopped. I wasn’t any more interested to draw those and 99% of my followers liked anthros. When I stopped drawing those I have got many letters where people asked why I don’t draw anymore. Many were thinking that something happened to me but I have told that I have this Tumblr account where I would be most of my time.Trust me, I tried to post some of my Warcraft drawings but people weren’t happy about it and they just wanted more anthro drawings. (Keep in mind I had like 1,600 followers so yeah..) I didn’t like to draw anthros anymore EVEN before I got into Warcraft stuff. After some time I tried to draw some anthro art but it felt like I was forcing myself. And I felt a little bit sad that many of my followers didn’t like what I wanted to draw now. 

ALSO, KEEP IN MIND THAT I WAS LIKE 14 years old when I did that account. Many cringe drawings were there too and that bothered me. xD But I had like 10000 drawings there. And if you know DA, you can’t remove many drawings at the same time (at least what I tried last time) In a short way, I didn’t feel like my followers were interested in what I wanted to draw and how is my life. Also, there were SO MANY cringe and weird people in there that gave me creeps. Ofc Tumblr have those too but in my opinion, DA has more of these people. And my lord the drama I had to go thru! Many young and I mean YOUNG people had dramas and it went one time so badly that I had to call a lawyer. I am sorry that you can’t read my comics anymore in there. But I felt like this was the best way to get away from my past. BUUUUT I hope you will enjoy my new stuff here on Tumblr! There is that saying “Home is where the heart is.” and I feel like my ‘home’ is here bc people are really interested in my stuff but also my life. 5. Talk about the bestbirthday you’ve had.

Not to be a total assbut I don’t really remember details of my birthdays haha. But I always have alot of fun. It all blurs together because it’s usually just a simple dinnerwith friends. I did have a fun sweet sixteen though. My mom reserved the roofof the Dave & Busters (a restaurant/arcade) and invited all of my friends.My crush at the time got me a really really nice bracelet that I still have andwear sometimes. That was a really good birthday.

The best birthday isn’teven my birthday. It was one of my best friend’s birthday and a bunch of themincluding her got drunk. That was awesome because I’ve always wanted to see myfriends drunk and never had until then. It was hilarious. The birthday girl wasdancing drunkenly in the bar and @thatlilqt was drunkenly obsessed with a TacoBell chalupa that she was going to eat when she got home. But it got thrownaway so she woke up really hungover. X,D

I’m pretty contentwith my life right now. The last couple of years of college really broke medown and I was stuck at a dead-end job at a law office for a shittyblood-sucking lawyer (shocking). I was constantly worrying about what I wasgoing to do, how I was going to get a better job with my undergrad degree, if Icould even get into a grad school program with my shitty gpa and no referenceswhatsoever. But now I’m working in a really awesome HR job with amazing peopleat a non-profit health clinic and I get PAID??? Not that the law office didn’tpay but the discrepancy was alarming. But I don’t feel like I can’t get out of slumps and I don’t have options anymore (which is a bit dramatic for someonewho’s only 25 years old LOL). I have plans for the future and it seemsattainable now?!? So yeah life’s pretty good atm.

022. tell us a story about a thing that recently happened to you! it can be a funny, scary, sad story, your pick! the drive to our old ancestral house in the south of scotland is a very haunted thing, and it was raining and close to the gloaming when we did it. so it’s not the highlands (where the mountains are) but there are these very big hills rising up from the side of these very narrow one lane roads with not another soul in the world on them. the valleys are massive and the drops are so far down. little waterfalls run down the sides of the hills, and everything is so bright and green even in the darkness. here’s some gifs from a snap video i took because i’m extra but also it’s so beautiful:

He’s super adorable and he gives the best kisses. He is very consistent in his opinions, he can draw, he actually manages to make me feel good enough for him, he is kinda obsessed with some things including fob and Harvest Moon. When he talks about drawing or colours or pecils or something like that his whole face lights up and he gets really happy and excited, that’s super cute. He makes fun of me for everything but never in a way I would feel bad about. He’s super emo but also a literal sunshine, you just have to be happy when you’re around him. Also he radiates so much energy I don’t even know why. He has the best hair ever and super warm eyes (like…they look warm. Colour-wise. Not the temperature, you know? :’D) and he has freckles which looks ridiculously good. And he has the best smile ever.

Baking or dying my hair. Both stress me out a lot sometimes, especially when it doesn’t turn out the way I want it to but in the end the process makes me happy even if the outcome doesn’t. Also being in the sunshine.

Making people see how it really is, because on the one hand it’s so sad when people beat themselves up about something they misinterpreted and stuff like that and on the other hand I hate it when people act so careless because they don’t see what they’re doing

Stand up for yourself and what you care about! You don’t always have to hide. Also who cares about ‘friends’ who only make you feel bad? You don’t need them.

Long post under the read more because I have a lot of Oso AUs and sadly they are all detailed yes ok lets dive in

Persona AU

The one that’s probably the most detailed heNCE THERE’S EVEN A BLOG FOR IT AND A FIC THAT I UPDATE AT SNAILS PACE

Self explanatory tbh. All the brothers are persona users in a p4-esque setting. Loser Oso is the only one who’s alone in the class, but in turn he gets to be classmates with Totoko and Chibita. The brother’s personas are as follows, in birth order; Kitsune, Icarus, Vodyanoy, Ovinnik, Heracles and Anteros. ESP Kitty is also there and his persona is Sphinx. At the beginning only Oso, Choro and Totty are aware of the TV world, but gradually as their brothers get more popular in the town and get thrown in as a result they all end up exploring the dungeons together. At first Totty is their not at all helpful support, but thankfully ESP Kitty switches him out after They rescue Ichi. They awaken to their personas in this order; Oso, Totty, Choro, Ichi, (ESP Kitty), Kara and Jyushi. I plan to give the side characters roles too, Totoko will watch the Midnight Channel and report to Oso when asked (even though she has no idea what is ACTUALLY going on), Chibita will take in the weird girl they found in the TV world and will sell healing items to the brothers, they will be able to get a lot of info from Atsushi about the people who get thrown in the TV world and don’t get out and the rest I don’t have figured out yet

I put Jyushi as the last one to fall into the TV World because one reason: the Shadow selves. Of course they are here again. Shadow Todo is very insecure and is afraid to break away from his brothers. He knows he has a cold heart and he’s dried up, and he hates he can’t express how he really feels. Shadow Choro is basically Oso, lazy, unmotivated, and doesn’t want to do anything. He finds everything pointless. Shadow Ichi is a very sad sight, he’s lonely, he wants friends, he doesn’t want to be left alone! He just wants to be part of something too! And then come these two...Kara and Jyushi. Shadow Kara is a salty binch. He lashes out, he doesn’t listen, he doesn’t tolerate. But when the anger dies out, all that’s left behind is a pretty hollow person who wants to be something, wants to belong, to actually have the confidence he claims to have. And now I tell you why I put Jyushi last- because his shadow would be strong. Really strong. Whatever part of himself he wants to hide, he guards it well. And when all walls break down, there stands shadow Jyushi. A quiet, serious looking kid who wants to be different. He doesn’t want to be mixed up with his brothers. He’s so tired of trying to make everyone happy. He just wants to rest god damn it.

As for shadow Oso....well you’ll just have to see until the fic gets there. I don’t want to post TOO MANY spoilers, but I can say that Oso is the worst protag you could ever have for a persona-esque series. He kicked a cat. He’s awful

JJBA

Co-op with Jaden, we made JJBA AU one day because, I quote, “No one stopped us”. We got pretty darn deep in it, deep enough that I actually designed Oso’s, Kara’s, Choro’s and Ichi’s stands. Besides stand infos we don’t actually have much here; we have yet to come up with a story. We brought it up a few days ago, and all we managed to discuss is as follows: they have stands so they can beat a certain sharp teethed garbage man up. 

So stand details? Gonna get long but thankfully only the first 4 ones are detailed the rest are just stand names and abilities. Do you have any idea how many hours we spent on the stand generator for this? More than whats acceptable

Oso’s stand is My First (Kiss) a short ranged stand. Notice the brackets yes. My First’s ability is Relative Strength Perception. This allows Oso to be as strong as the enemy sees him as. For example; if the foe he faces off thinks he’s super strong, then he WILL be super strong, but if he makes a joke out of himself, his opponent will think he’s a joke too, therefore decreasing his power immensely. The stand’s second ability (Kiss)’s ability is Heart Link, which connects him to all of his brothers. If one dies, they all die (we need to discuss this more tbh). Because of Heart Link, his stand has 5 numbered panels on its arm, from 2 to 6. Whenever a brother is in trouble, the corresponding button will flash and alert him.

Kara’s stand is Brotherswing, which is a very durable and long ranged stand. It’s ability is empathetic light manipulation, meaning that based on his mood, he can, well, manipulate how light reflects off of certain surfaces. Of course this also allows him to make himself glitter whenever the fuck he wants. We never really elaborated on how exactly his mood influences the efficiency of his ability, or if we did I forgot, but what I imagine is that, the happier/stronger he feels the easier and more effectively can he use his ability. His ability mostly comes in handy when they have to hide during combat

Choro’s stand is Echobo which is, once again, a long ranged stand with great speed. It’s ability is sonic wave emission. He can use sound in the form of waves, pulses, blasts etc to damage, paralyze or push back his foes. Which is a really good ability for someone who screams so much anyway. The drawback of Echobo is that Choro’s anxiety can and WILL affect it, and when that happens, the stand can short circuit, and release high pitched screeches until Choro calms down again. Sure to take out the enemy AND teammates too

Stay with me now cause the last detailed one is coming, Ichi’s Meow which is...an always active stand. Yep. He can’t control it. He can’t turn it off which is really bad for everyone because his stand ability is poison breath. He has to wear a specifically made mask at all times if he doesn’t want to murder everyone in his immediate surroundings. His stand has two forms, the ‘inactive-active form’ which is the form it usually takes on, and the ‘active form’ which is the form it takes on during combat. Its constantly releasing toxic fumes, ruining whatever it touches. It’s not a lethal poison, only in excessive amount. A small excessive amount. Please don’t breathe it in

Jyushi’s stand is Juicy Wiggle (heck yeah) is emotion infusion. We need to talk about this more so I can get a hang of it. And last brother, Totty whose stand is Don’t Cha (it’s an Egg. Totty did you lay this egg). He claims his ability is....Secret. He tells everyone its SUPER USEFUL and strong, but in reality, his ability is mind reading, which is. Not the best combat ability for an Egg. But later when the Egg hatches Totty’s ability evolves into technology related powers.

Of course....they aren’t the only one with stands. Totoko’s stand is Mermaid, and her ability is to jump from one electronic platform to another. Chibita’s stand, my personal fave, grants him the ability to turn the season to spring in a specific area, growing flowers everywhere. The Christmas couple has a stand too, the Two of Hearts, with environmental field projection as an ability. HOMURA also has a stand....called Vanilla Twilight....as the name suggests, her ability is to induce- well, not twilight, but night.

Ice skater AU

This one was essentially Mina’s idea but I even had a dream about it so Like. Incredible

This one is simple. Kara is an ice skater and his brothers are weirdly supportive of him. This was honestly just an excuse for me to draw him in poses, make him happy and make him wear the most flashy clothing EVER. But its pure. Its really pure and Kara is having a grand time on the ice please support him and his career

J-Pop AU

This one is actually pretty old but it was an AU Dennis and I did one day...I don’t even know WHAT sparked us, but suddenly we were just listening to songs and designing outfits (he even printed some paintings I did) and we got so far that I started writing a small ficlet but I never posted or finished it.
