That one time the second kiss Greygold gave Wyll led to an actual relationship because Lae'zel and Greygold were never actually official, ahahahahahastressful

Look, Greygold had absolutely tried their best to impress Lae'zel as a no-nonsense, nothing-but-tough soldier, but Greygold is as good at hiding their soft mushy bits as Astarion is to hiding he's a vampire spawn.

This is just Lae'zel's way of gently letting Greygold know that she knew all along.

Further long-winded thought process below:

Y'all, my brain could not register what Lae'zel had said and how they got back together again after the whole Wyll They, Won't They dance debacle because I was totally not freaking out about accidentally losing dat chance with Lae'zel at all~

So I like to think that if Lae'zel had heard Greygold's reasoning for "moving on", Lae'zel would've been too flabbergasted not to accidentally spill out some act 3 confessions early herself.

And sure, the only time wyll disagreed with Greygold was when they defended the caged goblin from getting shot and insisted keeping the vampire spawn that almost drank Greygold to death around , but Greygold took that personally.

But if Wyll had heard Greygold's reasoning as well, he'd've had also probably given a similar speech by which then Greygold would've probably fallen in love with Mr. Charming right then and there. Thankfully, Lae'zel swooped in first before we got to the point of a YA novelized love-triangle

Just hit the part where Gale talks about how clean his tower is now again and it hit different. How he laughs it off but...like....cleaning, getting rid of stuff.

It's just a throw away line, but this guy collects bits and trinkets and books like no-tomorrow (just look at his camp spot!) and he's delighted by those things and, well, he's not exactly the master of organization over there. Him not having things - well, it's not about the things he's giving up - it's about the fact that he'd given up so why on earth would things matter? Even if they had been special or important to him once.

Gale is a depressed, burned out GT kid who got screwed over by the system (and person in this case because the person is the system and the system is the person) who originally told him he was special and has completely and utterly had his sense of self-worth nuked (hah) by a mistake that he really wasn't in a position to be able to avoid given all of the above circumstances because what other path could he have possibly taken and not been a failure for not trying anyways?

He is desperately trying to keep his burn out from hurting or disappointing any more people and he thought that isolation is the only way to really do that.

And his sole lifeline to any semblance of actual sanity seems to be his cat.

UGH....I AM GALE. GALE IS ME. FUCK. No fucking wonder I want to cry when my Tav tells Gale he's worthy exactly as he is and again when our wizard wonder starts believing it.

I'm having so much fun...I even genuinely enjoy tartarus, I LIKE random-generated dungeons to begin with, actually.. since there's something new to expect each time (the system got so much more convenient though and it stays the way it is until you leave it now)

I like it!! this game's been very nice so far. and I'm sure there's going to be a lot more that I haven't seen yet. I can say as a fan who really loved p3 that it did retain the original's charm really well while adding some new refreshing elements that enhances/makes things more convenient compared to the base material.

I can recommend it to my friends, surely :) I hope I feel the same way when I complete the game too!!
